Shrek Spinoff “Puss in Boots” to Feature Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis

A Shrek spinoff featuring Puss in Boots is currently in the works, with the story focusing on how Puss and Shrek met for the first time.

Antonio Banderas will reprise his role as Puss in Boots, with Salma Hayek providing a voice and Zach Galifianakis possibly voicing Humpty Dumpty (he’s reportedly in negotiations for the role).

The Puss in Boots movie is scheduled for a November 4, 2011 release date.

Where is “Precious” playing? Precious is in movie theaters in select cities, starting today, November 6.

While Precious movie theaters in select cities have released the film today, Precious release dates for expanded viewing are November 13 and finally, nationwide on November 20.

After mention of Jim Carrey’s website last night on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, I decided to take a look at the Jim Carrey website for myself.

And, my oh my, is it a treat for the eyeballs – your typical celebrity website stuff is there with biography and news sections, filmography and TV, but it’s all very bizarre and cool how the site is put together.

I can definitely say the Jim Carrey website isn’t going to appeal to everyone – there’s a lot going on, without a clear idea of what it is, exactly, that you’re supposed to click on.

Then a random guy pops up with a camera – click him and you’ll see personal snapshots from Jim Carrey’s life. There are old videos of the actor and… well, probably more to explore and discover if you have a little time on your hands for poking around.

Overall, I think it’s really a beautiful site – but dangerous in that you can lose track of time while you explore.

Twilight New Moon promotion is in full swing, but perhaps nothing is sweeter than seeing New Moon co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson strike some romantic poses for these Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot pictures (video above).

The Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson pictures will be featured in the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on newsstands November 17.

These pics aren’t exactly putting an end to the Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson dating rumors, are they?

Pattinson says of Stewart in the mag, “She’s a unique girl. You really don’t meet many people like Kristen.”

Owen Wilson to Voice Great Dane in Marmaduke Movie

Owen Wilson as the voice of the Great Dane Marmaduke? Well, I guess that’s not any weirder than Bill Murray pulling a Garfield.

Marmaduke is coming to the big screen in a live-action/CG movie freaturing Owen Wilson’s voice.

Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H. Macy also star in the live action component; Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans will voice various characters.

Look for Marmaduke to hit the big screen next year.

Nicolas Cage Broke? Nicolas Cage Owes More Than $6 Million Back Taxes

Is Nicolas Cage broke? Nicolas Cage is rumored to be broke, owing $6.3 million in back taxes… and blaming it all on his business manager, who he filed a lawsuit against on October 16.

In Nicolas’ Cage’s lawsuit, it’s alleged that longtime business manager Samuel J. Levin, “lined his [own] pockets with several million dollars in business management fees while sending Cage down a path toward financial ruin.”

Nicolas Cage hired Levin in 2001 to oversee his investments and finances – looks like he didn’t do such a great job if Cage is now as broke as the rumors would have you believe.

Cage has begun selling possessions and sold his Bavarian castle, as well as placing other homes he owns on the market (California, Las Vegas and New Orleans – seriously, how many homes does one need?).

Nicolas Cage owes over $6 million in unpaid taxes dating from 2007, according to court papers.

The lawsuit alleges “He [Cage] is now forced to sell major assets and investments at a significant loss and is faced with huge tax liabilities because of Levin’s incompetence, misrepresentations and recklessness.”
