We are now working with some amazing people that produce good, solid, faith-based movies. They have a new one coming out with Sean Astin called Amazing Love. We will be premiering it on October 19 and will be offering group discounts to churches and youth groups. We're also lowering the cost of the regular tickets so that more people will be able to come and experience this wonderful movie. I thank all of our supportive customers and hope that this new line of movies will not only be good for the Henn but for the families that see them. I'm quite excited about the new avenue we're taking and hope that it serves to promote good, healthy family values. God bless you all and we'll see you... at the movies!

Hunger Games now only $3/$2!

We know it's tough to justify spending money on going out to the movies right now, so to help you see this great movie made right here in North Carolina, we have decided to drop our ticket prices! From now until the end of the run of the Hunger Games (April 13), adults are now $3, children and seniors are $2, and our matinees are only $2 for ANY age! So bring your friends, bring your family, bring your neighbors and enjoy this great movie at a great price!

Showtimes are Monday-Friday at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday at 4 & 7pm.

Catching up

Sorry it's been so long since I have written on here. Hopefully I'll be getting back in the swing of things. I do hope you all enjoyed The Lorax. I really loved the movie. Thought it had a great message. We had an incredible turnout for the free movies, so I'm very happy that so many folks benefited from that. I hope to do that every so often as finances allow! But even if the movie isn't free, we're cheaper than the other theaters around, so please think of us when you're deciding to have a nice night out to see a movie. We sure would appreciate it!

Starting tonight at midnight we have The Hunger Games, rated PG-13. This movie, based on a popular series of books, is one of the most anticipated movies in recent history. It already has a massive following even though it hasn't even been released! We hope that you'll get some time to come out and enjoy it. Our regular showtimes for this movie will be, Friday: 7 & 9:15pm, Saturday: 4, 7 & 9:15pm, Sunday: 4 & 7pm and Monday-Thursday at 7pm. Thank you all for your continued support. We'll reopen the Henn and move The Help (Rated PG-13) there. It will show at 4 & 7pm on Saturday and Sunday and 7pm the rest of the week.

At Andrews, we'll hold over I Don't Know How She Does It (Rated PG-13) and we'll bring in Abduction starring Taylor Lautner (Rated PG-13). Both of those will show Friday at 7 & 9pm, Saturday at 3, 5, 7 & 9pm, Sunday at 3, 5 & 7pm and Monday-Thursday at 7pm.

Sorry I've been slacking the last few weeks. School is back and I've been rather busy running 3 kids here and there! But that's not what's important today. Today is movie information!

This weekend at the Henn Theatre, we're getting Captain America! It's rated PG-13 for for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action. It will show Monday-Friday at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 4 & 7pm.

At the Andrews Twin Cinema, we'll be getting Rise of the Planet of the Apes, rated PG-13 for for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action. We'll also be pulling in Crazy, Stupid, Love, rated PG-13 for for coarse humor, sexual content and language. Both of these movies will show on Friday at 7 & 9:15pm, Saturday at 4, 7 & 9:15pm, Sunday at 4 & 7pm, and Monday through Thursday at 7pm.

Boy, this is a big weekend for the movies! Starting Friday at the Henn Theatre, we have The Smurfs! The little blue guys are back for a big adventure. It's rated PG and is sure to be fun for the whole family! Showtimes will be Friday & Saturday at 3, 5, 7 & 9pm and Sunday-Thursday at 3, 5 & 7pm.

At the Andrews Twin Cinema, we'll be getting Cowboys & Aliens as well as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Cowboys & Aliens stars Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in a action-packed SciFi/Western. Get ready for some popcorn-munching fun in this new PG-13 adventure. The Harry Potter Series concludes with an awesome spectacle that has made huge box office grosses nationwide. This is a must-see for any fantasy fan.

At the Henn Theatre, we have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The finale to the series promises to be a spectacular finish to an amazing story. It's rated PG-13 and will show daily at 4, 7 & 9:15

At the Andrews Twin Cinema, we'll hold over Zookeeper. Folks have been raving about the movie as a GREAT family film that is full of laughs, so come out an enjoy! It shows daily at 3, 5, 7 & 9. Also at the Andrews Twin we have Transformers: Dark of the Moon showing for it's final week. If you haven't seen it, now is the time. Folks have really enjoyed it and have said that it's much better than the last one.

Coming to the Andrews Twin Cinema, we'll have Zookeeper starring Kevin James. It's rated PG, so it's good for the family! It will show daily at 3, 5, 7 & 9pm. We'll hold over Transformers: Dark of the Moon, showing daily at 4, 7 & 9:45pm.

The Henn Theatre will hold Cars 2 for one more week and then lead right into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. We will be having a midnight show for Harry Potter and tickets for the midnight show as well as the whole opening weekend are on sale right now at the Henn and Andrews Twin box offices. The midnight show is selling very quickly, so if you're planning on attending, please get your tickets soon!

Transformers and more goodness!

Andrews Twin Cinema will be showing Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon starting Wednesday, June 29. We WILL be having a midnight show, Tuesday night at 12:01am (officially Wednesday morning). Tickets are on sale now! Right now we have Green Lantern and Super 8, so if you haven't caught those yet, they are good ones to see.

The Henn Theatre has Cars 2. We had a fantastic turnout opening day and we're looking forward to continued good crowds. Folks also seem to really be enjoying our concession combos, so make sure to check those out when you come!

Coming this weekend to the Henn Theatre, we'll be bringing in Cars 2. We're expecting a good turnout for the sequel to the huge animated hit. It got a "G" rating, so it's appropriate for all audiences. Showtimes will be 3, 5 & 7pm every day. Remember that the 3 & 5pm shows are only $4 admission for any age, so come out and enjoy a movie while saving some money!

Coming to the Andrews Twin Cinema, we have Super 8, the science fiction thriller from JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg. It is rated PG-13 for Intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, language and some drug use. We're also holding over Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds. It as well is PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action. We've had a solid turnout for Green Lantern and folks seem to be enjoying it, so come out for some popcorn-munching excitement! Showtimes for both of these movies are daily at 3, 5, 7 & 9pm starting Friday, June 24th!

This Friday at the Andrews Twin Cinema we'll have the Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds. It's rated PG-13. We're also bringing in X-Men: First Class, rated PG-13. Showtimes for both of them are daily at 4, 7 & 9:15pm. We WILL be having a midnight show for Green Lantern this Thursday night at 12:01 (officially Friday morning). Tickets are on-sale now!

The Henn Theatre will be closed for 1 week and will reopen on June 24 with Cars 2!

3D Movies at the Henn

I need to know how important 3D is to my customers. I am considering taking the Henn Theatre to 3D, but it's a BIG expense and I want to know just how important 3D is to you. Leave me a comment and let me know a few things.
1) If you currently attend the Henn, would you come more often if it had 3D?
2) If you don't come to the Henn right now, would you come if it had 3D?
3) If you don't go to the Henn and instead drive to Fieldstone, would you instead come to the Henn if it had 3D for the same movie as the Fieldstone?

It's going to be a big weekend for moviegoers! Not only are we holding over Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the Andrews Twin Cinema, but we're bringing in The Hangover Part II, the sequel to one of the funniest movies in the past several years. At the Henn Theatre we're finally getting Kung Fu Panda 2, the sequel to one of the biggest-grossing animated movies in recent years. Both the new movies will start on Thursday instead of Friday this week. Not really sure WHY the movie companies decided to do that, but hey, at least you get a chance to see them earlier! Showtimes for Hangover 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2 are Friday at 7 & 9pm, Saturday at 3, 5, 7 & 9pm, Sunday at 3, 5 & 7pm and Monday-Thursday at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you.... at the movies!

Starting May 26 at the Henn, we'll be bringing in Kung Fu Panda 2, rated PG for sequences of martial arts action and mild violence. Also on May 26 we'll have the Hangover Part II at the Andrews Twin Cinema. It's rated R for Pervasive Language, Strong Sexual Content including Graphic Nudity, Drug Use and Brief Violent Images. These start on a Thursday, which is really odd, but that's when they let us play them, so gosh darn it, that's when we're playing them! :)
