Entry #10 Hangover 2

2011-07-08T07:06:00.000-07:00

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything but without any more delays I bring you another movie :D !

This is a sequel to the first Hangover movie (like duh). The story follows the same gang with them waking up in Thailand without again not remembering a thing. I'd personally recommend watching the first part first.

There were plenty of hilarious scenes and jokes, so I'd really recommend watching this movie for people that enjoy comedy.

Entry #9 Fast and the Furious

2011-06-07T01:00:00.000-07:00

OK guys, excellent news! I'm about to reach 100 followers on this blog. And today I'm not gonna review just one movie, I'm gonna review a whole franchise of them.

So yeah it's Fast and the Furious.

I've personally seen every single movie of this franchise including the newest addition : Fast Five.

You can buy the DVDs and I strongly recommend it.

Alot of action, crashes, racing, a very good movie just to watch when you're bored.

Entry #8 No Strings Attached

2011-06-01T12:23:00.000-07:00

and once again I am sorry for the delay guys, I have been terribly busy lately and didn't have time for blogging but since school's over, I'll have plenty of time for new posts. I have almost reached 100 followers btw, so It feels good, like I've done something useful... or something.

So today I want to talk about a movie of a genre I haven't yet posted about. a romantic comedy!

Yup. It's "No Strings Attached"

In short : "A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more."

It pretty typical as a romantic comedy. two people meet, they start going to a relationship, split up and then make up and live happily.

But still I'd recommend watching it.

Entry #7 The Dark Knight

2011-05-21T04:00:00.000-07:00

OK guys, so I've heard a new Batman is movie is coming out, so I decided to make a little review about one that they've already released.

So you might have guessed it.

The Dark Knight

The first time I've heard about this movie I thought it was gonna be another lame superhero useless junk movie sort of thing. However, once I saw it, I was amazed how good it was.

"Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known only as the Joker, as he drives each of them to their limits."

IMDB rated this 8.9/10.

And this time, no matter how strange this will sound, they were right.

Entry #6 V for Vendetta

2011-05-16T06:33:00.001-07:00

Sorry for the dealy again, I have been studying really hard recently and haven't had time to post something new.

So today I'm gonna present to you, one of the greatest movies of all time.

It is V for Vendetta.

A shadowy freedom fighter known only as "V" uses terrorist tactics to fight against his totalitarian society. Upon rescuing a girl from the secret police, he also finds his best chance at having an ally.IMDB Summary.

The main character is plaid by Hugo Weaving. Just want to point that out.

This is simply a perfect movie. It is very meaningful, has comedic scenes and both sad and inspiring scenes.

IMDB rated this movie : 8.2

But it is clearly worth more than that.

Entry #5 SPECIAL : LOST

2011-05-07T09:14:00.000-07:00

OK GUYS,
time for a new post. So today I thought about mixing it up a litttle, so I won't review or recommend a movie today, but a TV show.

So yeah, the TV show is LOST.

I know you are probably thinking that it's old and not that popular anymore, but still I am currently watching it from the very first episode and I can say it is REALLY addicting. I know it sometimes doesn't make sense and in the end it's unexplainable, but It is really fun to watch.

IMDB LINK for more info!

If you see the DVD of season one for rent, make sure you rent it, cause seriously.

It's good for you.

Currently i'm trying to spread my blog a little but however it isn't going that well so make sure you tell your friends about this!

Entry #4 Cop Out

2011-04-30T13:34:00.001-07:00

Sorry for the delay, guys. I've realised I don't have enought free time to be posting everyday, so I'll only do it when I watch movies. So a few days back I watched "Cop Out". It's a hilarious movie and I think you should watch it too!

A comedy about a veteran NYPD cop whose rare baseball card is stolen. Since it's his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, he recruits his partner to track down the thief, a memorabilia-obsessed gangster. -IMDB

IMDB rating : 5.6/10
My Personal Rating : 8.
This time IMDB is quite right, this movie is hilarious partly, only at some places, however that is common for such comedies, so I still give it an eight.

If you haven't seen this yet, you should definately watch this epic movie..

Entry #3 Tenacious D

2011-04-08T11:59:00.001-07:00

OK Day #3. This time I've picked a musical comedy, most likely one of the best comedies I've seen. This Movie has a lot of funny songs which I can remember word by word, cause I've seen the movie at least 5 times already and it still is awesome to me and maybe I'll watch it after posting this.

Tenacious D in THE PICK OF DESTINY

"In Venice Beach, there was a man named Kage

When he was buskin he was all the rage.

He met Jables and he taught him well,

All the techniques that were developed in hell.

Cock pushups and the power slide,

Gig simulation now theres nowhere to hide.

They formed a band they named Tenacious D,

And then they got the Pick of Destiny. "

This is actually lyrics of the song Pick Of Destiny from their movie, however it perfectly represents the main plot of the movie.

IMDB rated this movie 6.7 (THOSE BASTARDS!)

I'd rate it 9 as minimum.

Entry #2 Lucky Number Slevin

2011-04-07T11:18:00.000-07:00

OK time for another movie. Since this is only the beginning of this blog I have a lot of movie ideas, so it's pretty hard for me to pick a movie since there are so many great ones. So I've decided to pick some of my personal favorites.

Day #2 Lucky Number Slevin
So according to IMDB ratings (which are kinda strict) this movie has the 7.8/10.
Personally I'd rate it at least 9.3/10

" A case of mistaken identity lands Slevin into the middle of a war being plotted by two of the city's most rival crime bosses: The Rabbi and The Boss. Slevin is under constant surveillance by relentless Detective Brikowski as well as the infamous assassin Goodkat and finds himself having to hatch his own ingenious plot to get them before they get him."

As I said this movie is one of my own favorites, most probably cause it has my favorite actors Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Josh Hartnett. Their acting was incredible!
I would really recommend watching this movie. You won't regret it.

Entry #1 Shawshank Redemption

2011-04-06T07:09:00.000-07:00

From this day forward I'm gonna keep posting movies I find very interesting and worth seeing on my blog for people that don't know that movie to rent or just have a lot of free time or just can't make up their minds.

Day #1 Shawshank Redemption
I can loudly say that IMDB (Internet Movie Database) have ranked this movie the best of all-time for a reason.

"Andy Dufresne is a young and successful banker whose life changes drastically when he is convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and her lover. Set in the 1940's, the film shows how Andy, with the help of his friend Red, the prison entrepreneur, turns out to be a most unconventional prisoner.Written by Martin Lewison <milst1@cislabs.pitt.edu> "
-Storyline from IMDB

This movie is really awesome, because it has many scenes that have different genres.
I really liked Morgan Freeman's acting in this movie. It was awesome.
The Storyline was perfect.

There's nothing bad I can point out in this movie and that what it makes it really really awesome.

I MEAN SERIOUSLY. AWESOME. And if you haven't seen that movie already and if you have alteast a little decency in yourself go outside. rent the dvd. go back and watch it.
