June Haven (Cameron Diaz) is just an ordinary woman who's on her way way to Boston to attend her little sister's wedding and bringing along with her a suitcase of some car parts which she wanted to assemble and made as present for her sister's wedding while Roy Miller is a rogue CIA agent who's on for something that made him hot in the eyes of CIA people. The two had their first encounter in the airport when Miller tried to bump Haven intentionally unknown to the woman that her suitcase was being used by Miller to escape airport security. Smartly, she passed by security as she fondly declares all her suitcase contents and walk straight for her flight check in. Again, on her way to board the plane, she was bumped by Miller though this time Miller invite her to join him for they are on the same flight to Boston. Boarding with Miller and to her dismay that she was refused by the flight attendant insisting that she was not booked for that flight. Her trying charms and reasoning to win the flight attendant was unsuccessful as she follows a desperate look on Miller with his words “Sometimes things happen for a reason,” and he boards alone. ... and that was the start of their glamorous and deadly adventures, waking up in different parts of the world to battle between betrayal, trust and truth.

Movie Review: Knight and Day

This is a nice action comedy tandem of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Knight and Day is a relaxed and likable movie plus the locations were fantastic! Fair enough kind of movie worth my time and money!

Alice in Wonderland

Feeling trapped in a world of proper etiquette for one such as herself, Alice is taken to a garden party. Alice Kingsleigh is the daughter of a wealthy businessman Charles Kingsleigh by whom, as a child when she tells of her adventures in Wonderland, he declares her mad, but that all the best people are. As Charles Passed away, Alice was expected to accept a marriage proposal from Hamish, the son of one of her father's business partners. During the proposal however, Alice soon grows distracted seeing a rabbit with a waistcoat nearby, and rushes after the strange creature. Following it, she finds her way to the trunk of an old tree and falls down a hole and meeting her old friends in the "Underland" who wasn't even sure if they found the right "Alice".

The scroll claims that on the Frabjous Day, Alice will return to slay the Jabberwocky.

Movie Review: Alice in Wonderland

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is way different from the Alice in Wonderland story i watched when i was little. At least my fave cat is there... I like it, not love it! hehehe... Nice visual designs though the White Queen is kinda weird! Not really a "muchness" movie for me!

Salt is a 2010 American spy action thriller film starring Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Daniel Olbrychski, August Diehl and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Directed by Phillip Noyce and written by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland.

Filming took place on a location in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Albany, New York between March and June 2009. The film had a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 22 and was released in North America on July 23, 2010 and August 18, 2010, in the United Kingdom.

Evelyn Salt is a CIA Officer who goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to escape captivity. Once a highly respected defender who swore an oath to duty, honor and country, Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and still, a loyal friend and a Boss Ted Winter continuous to believe in her although her actions raised doubts to him... Who is Salt and what is she up to?

Movie Review : Salt

Salt is superb! Not to mention that Angelina Jolie is one of my favorite, i love super agent characters! I like the plot and how it astonished me as when every character is being revealed with their ulterior motives! The twist of love, loyalty and honor is perfectly blended. Do we want Part 2??

Iron Man 2 is an American superhero 2010 film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man, and the second film in a planned trilogy.It was directed by Jon Favreau, starring Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes, Scarlett Johansson as the new assistant of Tony, Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko, Robert Downey as Tony Stark Jr., who is an industrialist and master engineer, also known as the superhero Iron Man. The film was released in France on April 28, and in the United States on May 7, 2010.

Iron Man 2 Summary

After Tony Stark confessed his identity as Iron Man to the world, he comes under fire from the United States Government who demand him to surrender his Iron Man suit which they think has the powerful weapon that can destroy human. As the Government attempts to create a duplicate of the Iron Man suit with the assistance of Stark's rival, Justin Hammer, Tony's long time friend Jim Rhodes is put center stage in the conflict because someone hacked his suit program and has been reprogram to target Tony. Meanwhile, a mysterious and dangerous foe emerges in Ivan Vanko, who creates an alternate and powerful persona known as Whiplash in order to exact revenge on the Stark family once and for all... it isn't long before he unites with Hammer in an effort to destroy Iron Man. With the arrival of his shady new assistant, and persistent recruitment attempts from S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury, Stark needs all the help he can get in order to overcome the obstacles.

Movie Review on Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 provides more entertainment, guilt-free, than anything you're likely to see this summer. I like his new suit, a briefcase suit was very cool. Watch the seen on how Tony Stark wear his Iron Man suit with just one briefcase.

Shutter Island, a 2010 movie mixed with drama, crime, thriller, and mystery set in the year of 1954.

The movie leads you through a tale of a marshal, but not all is as it seems.

You are shown multiply stories throughout the movie, making you wonder what truly the truth is in this twisted tale.

Summary:

The movie begins with an U.S marshal, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) as he is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient, Rachel, with his partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) from Boston's Shutter Island Ashcliffe Hospital – which takes only the most dangerous patients created by Dr. Cawley (Ben Kingsley) and Dr Kingsley (Dr. Naethring). Teddy Daniels, wanted this assignment for personal reasons, but soon finds he might have been brought here because of a twisted plot by the hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister, or at least so he believes. His investigation skills give him what he thinks is a promising lead, though the hospital refuses to grant him access to some records which would help his case tremendously.

Thought the story we are shown flashbacks playing in Teddy’s mind, revealing his past life in the war, making us more curious about this character.

The power is soon shut off due to a huge hurricane causing many dangerous patients or as to Teddy criminals, adding to the confusion, as the puzzling clues to this movie, multiply.

Teddy begins to doubt everything, from his memory, partner, even his own sanity and past.

But soon the truth is revealed, sharing something not many would have guessed to be the truth.

Movie Review : Shutter Island

This movie is one no one shall ever forget because of the twisted novel written by Dennis Lehane, and the movie written by Laeta Kalogridis and directed by Martin Scorsese, this journey makes you think more, and begin to wonder what is real and what is simply an act. It is a movie for most to enjoy as it puzzles your mind so very well.

From Walt Disney Pictures, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. It starred Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kingsleigh, Stephen Fry as Cheshire Cat, Anne Hathaway as White Queen, Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as Red Queen, Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit and Crispin Glover as Knave of Hearts. This film uses a technique of combining live action and animation.

Movie Review: Alice in Wonderland 2010 Film

A pretty good remake of the original that we've all seen as children. It was fun to look at with a great cast, but at times it got a little boring.

Avatar is a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron. It starred Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang.

The film is set in the year 2154 on Pandora, a fictional Earth-like moon in a distant planetary system. Humans are engaged in mining Pandora's reserves of a precious mineral, while the Na'vi — the sapient and sentient race of humanoids indigenous to the moon — resist the colonists' expansion, which threatens the continued existence of the Na'vi and the Pandoran ecosystem. The film's title refers to the remotely controlled, genetically engineered human-Na'vi bodies used by the film's human characters to interact with the natives

Avatar Plot

In 2154, the RDA Corporation is mining Pandora, a lush, Earth-like moon of the planet Polyphemus, in the Alpha Centauri system. Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi), the administrator, employs former marines as mercenaries to provide security. The humans aim to exploit Pandora’s reserves of a valuable mineral called unobtanium.

Pandora is inhabited by the Na’vi, a paleolithic species of sapient humanoids with feline characteristics. Physically stronger and taller than humans, the indigenes have sparkling blue skin and live in harmony with Nature, worshiping a mother goddess called Eywa.

Humans cannot breathe Pandora’s atmosphere for long without passing out and dying. In order to move about Pandora, human scientists have created human-Na’vi hybrids called avatars, which are controlled by genetically matched human operators. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic former marine, arrives on Pandora to replace his twin brother, who was killed in a simple mugging, an avatar operator. Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), the head of the Avatar Program, considers him an inadequate replacement for his brother, who had undergone three years of training for the job, relegating him to a bodyguard role.

While Jake escorts Augustine and biologist Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) on an exploratory mission in their avatar forms, the group is attacked by a large predator, and Jake becomes separated and lost. Attempting to survive the night in Pandora’s dangerous jungles, he is rescued by Neytiri (Zoë Saldaña), a female Na'vi. Neytiri brings Jake back to Hometree, which is inhabited by Neytiri’s clan, the Omaticaya. Mo'at, (C. C. H. Pounder), the Na'vi shaman and Neytiri's mother, interest by their first meeting with a warrior Dream-walker, as they call the Avatars, instructs her to teach him their ways.

Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), leader of the security forces, promises Jake his "real legs" back in exchange for intelligence about the natives and what it will take to make them abandon Hometree, which rests above a large deposit of unobtanium.

Over three months, Jake grows close to Neytiri and the Omaticaya and begins to prefer the life he lives through the avatar. Jake's attachment erodes his loyalty toward the humans, and when he is initiated into the Omaticaya, he and Neytiri choose each other as mates. Jake's change of loyalty is revealed when he disables a bulldozer's cameras as it destroys the tribe's sacred Tree of Voices. Col. Quaritch disconnects Jake from his avatar and presents Selfridge and Augustine with a vlog in which Jake admits that his mission is fruitless; the humans have nothing the Omaticaya desire, and the latter will never abandon Hometree. Selfridge is convinced that negotiations will fail and orders Hometree's destruction.

Augustine argues that the destruction of Hometree could affect the vast bio-botanical neural network that all Pandoran organisms are connected to, and Selfridge gives Jake one hour to convince the Na’vi to leave Hometree. When he reveals his mission to the Omaticaya, Neytiri accuses him of betraying them, which results in Jake and Augustine's imprisonment. Jake’s time runs out and Quaritch’s forces destroy Hometree, killing Eytucan (Wes Studi), Neytiri's father and clan chief, and many others. Jake and Augustine are disconnected from their avatars and detained for treason along with Norm. Trudy Chacon (Michelle Rodriguez), a security force pilot who is disgusted by the violence, breaks them out but Augustine is wounded by Quaritch. With Augustine dying, Jake turns to the Omaticaya for help. To regain their trust, he tames the Toruk, an immensely powerful flying beast that only five Na'vi have ever tamed. Jake flies to the Omaticaya, who have gathered at the sacred Tree of Souls, and pleads with Mo'at to heal Augustine. They attempt to transplant her soul into her avatar, but her injuries are too severe.

With the assistance of Neytiri and Tsu'Tey (Laz Alonso), the new leader of the Omaticaya, Jake assembles thousands of Na'vi from other clans. Jake prays to Eywa to intercede on behalf of the Na'vi in the coming battle. Quaritch, seeing the Na'vi's growing strength, orders a preemptive strike on the Tree of Souls; as it is the center of Na'vi religion and culture, its destruction would leave the Na'vi too demoralized to continue resisting.

As the humans attack, the Na'vi fight back but suffer heavy casualties, among them Tsu'Tey and Trudy. As the Na'vi are on the verge of defeat, the Pandoran wildlife suddenly attacks the humans, overwhelming them. Neytiri interprets this as Eywa answering Jake's prayer.

Jake destroys the bomber before it can reach the Tree of Souls. Quaritch escapes in an AMP (Amplified Mobility Platform) suit, finds the avatar interface pod where Jake's human body is located and attacks it, exposing Jake to Pandora's atmosphere. Neytiri kills Quaritch and saves Jake, seeing his human form. With the attack repelled, Jake and Neytiri reaffirm their love.

The humans are expelled from Pandora, while Jake and his closest co-workers remain. Jake is seen wearing the insignia of the Omaticaya leader. The film ends with Jake's soul being transplanted into his Na'vi avatar.

Movie Review: Avatar

I have watched this film on 3D cinema. Avatar is the most visually fantastic film I've ever seen. It will be hailed as the groundbreaking 3D release of its time while setting a new standard by which all blockbusters are measured. Yes, it's that good. I enjoy and appreciate the animation and the story of the film. I recommend this Avatar Movie to all. It’s worth watching.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a 2009 American romantic fantasy film which is based on Stephenie Meyer's 2006 novel New Moon. It is a sequel to 2008's Twilight film series and, which is also based on Meyer's previous novel. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, following the early success of Twilight. The film was directed by Chris Weitz, it stars Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Plot

The film start on Bella Swan 18th birthday wakes up from a dream in which she sees herself as an old woman. She expresses her distaste as growing older than her boyfriend Edward Cullen who is a vampire who stopped aging physically at 17. Despite her lack of enthusiasm, Edward's adoptive family throws Bella a birthday party. While unwrapping a gift, Bella gets a paper cut, causing Jasper, to become overwhelmed by her blood's scent and attempt to kill her. Realizing the danger that he and his family pose to Bella, Edward ends their relationship, and the Cullens leave Forks, Washington permanently.

Edward's departure leaves Bella heartbroken and depressed for months. However, when her father, Charlie, wants her to live with her mother in Florida, Bella agrees to spend time with her friends. After seeing a movie with Jessica, Bella sees a group of men on motorcycles. This reminds her of when Edward previously rescued her from an assault, and she sees his image warning her to stay away. Bella discovers that thrill-seeking activities evoke Edward's preserved image. She is also comforted by her deepening friendship with Jacob Black, a cheerful companion who eases her pain over losing Edward. When Jacob is unable to see Bella for weeks, she discovers that he is a werewolf, an age-old enemy of vampires. Jacob's pack members are on constant patrol for Victoria, a vampire searching to kill Bella due to the death of her mate, leaving Jacob little time to spend with her. Alone again, Bella returns to seeking thrill-inducing activities.

Through a series of mis-communications, Edward believes Bella has killed herself. Distraught over her supposed suicide, Edward flees to Italy to provoke the Volturi, a powerful vampire coven capable of killing him, by exposing himself in the sunlight. Alice and Bella rush to Italy to save Edward, and arrive just in time to stop him. However, the Volturi determine that Bella, a human who knows that vampires exist, must either be killed or transformed into a vampire herself. Alice stops them from killing her by sharing her premonition with Aro, a Volturi elder who is able to read thoughts, in which Bella has been transformed. Returning to Forks, Edward tells Bella that he always loved her and only left to protect her. She forgives him, and the Cullens vote in favor of Bella being transformed into a vampire, to Edward and Jacob's dismay. Edward gives Bella a choice: either she lets Alice change her after their graduation, or, if Bella agrees to marry him, he will change her himself. However, Jacob reminds Edward of the treaty the Cullens made with the Quileutes: they will not attack each other, as long as the Cullens never bite a human.

Movie Review : The Twilight Saga: New Moon

New Moon was fantastic. The cinematography was way better, the color was improved, the story was great, and it is a romance story, not a supernatural movie!

The Proposal is a 2009 American romantic comedy film. It was directed by Anne Fletcher starring Sandra Bullock as Margaret Tale and Ryan Reynolds as Andrew Paxton.

The Proposal Plot

Margaret Tate is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company. All of her co-workers hate her, including her assistant Andrew Paxton. Bob Spaulding who is a senior editor who was fired by Margaret because he is unable to get an author named Frank be interviewed by Oprah also hates her.

After learning Margaret is being deported to Canada, she forces Andrew to marry her, as his future is tied to hers. When the government investigates, Mr. Gilbertson informs them that they will undergo rigorous testing to prove that the marriage is not fraudulent. Andrew accepts the proposal unwillingly, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor and his manuscript be published. He also forces Margaret to propose nicely to him on her knees in the streets of New York, and to allow him to tell his parents they are getting married.

The two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Sitka, Alaska in order to sell the lie, where they will be attending the 90th birthday party of Andrew's grandmother (Gammy). Margaret is very unreceptive of Alaska, and is furthermore shocked to learn that Andrew's family owns most of the business in Sitka. They attend a surprise party for them, where Andrew catches up with his ex-girlfriend, Gertrude "Gert". After he is humiliated by his father, Joe Paxton, Andrew announces that he and Margaret are getting married. They are forced to kiss, and do so passionately, showing the first signs of respect for one another. Andrew's parents then show them their room, and Gammy gives them a special blanket called baby-maker, which they avoid. Andrew and Margaret sleep separately - Andrew on the floor and Margaret in the bed.

The next morning, Margaret wakes to hear her phone ringing. After waking Andrew with her loud conversation, she goes outside; the family dog, Kevin, follows her and is swooped up by an eagle. She gets Kevin back, but the eagle instead takes her phone. Andrew, having seen the commotion, informs her that she, his mother Grace and Gammy are going shopping; the shopping actually proves to be a male strip show by Ramone. Margaret talks with Gert about Andrew, who tells her that they dated from high school through college, and when Andrew proposed to her and said that he wanted to elope she said no, because she didn't want to go from her home. Margaret comes home and takes a shower, but finds no towels; when she goes to get one, she is stopped by Kevin. Meanwhile, Andrew confronts his father Joe after he apologizes and asks him to take up the family business, telling him he's happy in New York. He goes to the balcony of their room, stripping naked. Margaret is also naked, goes for a towel after distracting Kevin, only to run into Andrew. He sees her tattoo before going to take a shower. That night, Andrew and Margaret tell each other a little about their past, and find out they like the same band.

Next morning, Joe and Grace knock at the door with breakfast. Andrew and Margaret hurriedly get into bed, and the family suggests they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. Andrew is stressed because the marriage is actually fake, and Margaret tries to comfort him, finding herself genuinely caring for him. To sort out her emotions, she goes for a bike ride into the woods, where she finds Gammy "giving thanks". Gammy invites her to join her, and they end up dancing to "Get Low", while Andrew watches. Andrew takes her into Sitka, and she tries to contact New York. However, Gammy and Grace arrive and take Margaret to be fitted into a dress that Gammy's great grandmother made, and a necklace that's been in the Paxton family for generations. Deciding that she can't do this to Andrew, she hijacks a boat and tries to explain, but she falls off after he takes the steering wheel. Andrew goes back for her, and they return to his house. Once there, they find that Andrew’s father has contacted Mr. Gilbertson, who asks them again to admit the sham. Andrew vehemently denies.

During the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone- including Mr. Gilbertson, who tells her she has twenty four hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Andrew rushes to their room only to find she has already left leaving Andrew's manuscript with a note of praise from Margaret on the bed. Upon returning, another argument arises between Joe and Andrew. Gammy has a heart attack while trying to stop them and while being airlifted to the hospital has Joe and Andrew to quit arguing before she passes. When they agree, Gammy reveals she had faked it. Andrew attempts to stop Margaret's flight, but cannot do so in time. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for Margaret in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again. They go to Mr. Gilbertson once more to get engaged "for real".

I give this romantic comedy 10/10. I really enjoy the movie and love the story on the way they hate each other and finally realized that they have many things in common. It’s worth watching and not boring. I definitely recommend this funny movie.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the third installment in the Underworld series, focusing primarily on the origins of some characters and revealed the events leading to the Vampire-Lycan war.

The Film starred Michael Sheen as Lucian, Bill Nighy as Victor, Rhona Mitra as Sonja.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Plot

The film tells the story of the origins of Lucian, who was the first werewolf able to take human form - to be called Lycans [derived from the word lycanthrope]. Viktor the ruthless king of the vampires took him home after killing his werewolf mother in a raid. Viktor decides to create a race of werewolves who would be more sedate than the original breed, a viciously volatile kind that couldn't revert back to human form. Viktor envisions a race of slaves for his vampire clan that, conceivably, could keep guard during the daytime hours and toil for the vampires. As Lucian grows up at Viktor's home, his young daughter, Sonja, develops an attraction to the young Lycan, and Lucian becomes fond of Sonja as well.

It is revealed that Viktor has a tacit relationship with the human population of the area, whereupon he agreed to protect them from the wild werewolves that roam the countryside in exchange for a tithe. As a collection human nobles come to meet with the vampire council for protection from the werewolves in exchange for this aforementioned tithe, Sonja goes out to guard them. Lucian hears the Lycans near Sonja and steals a horse and sword from a nearby Death Dealer. Wild werewolves proceed to attack and kill the nobles, causing Lucian to engage in a battle with them. When Lucian takes off his collar and changes into a Lycan in order to protect himself, the wild werewolves back down to his howl and leave before Lucian is shot down by Viktor's men. Viktor, despite grudgingly acknowledging that Lucian saved his daughter, notes that Lucian still transgressed the laws of the coven by taking off the collar that kept him in check (by preventing him from changing into a Lycan) and feels betrayed by what he thinks of as his favorite pet. Subsequently, he locks Lucian away after having him whipped him thirty times with a three pronged chain-bladed whip.

Lucian escapes, kills several of the Vampires and begins to liberate the other Lycans from what he perceives as their unfair imprisonment. The guards are alerted and start to slaughter the Lycans. When Viktor discovers that Sonja has an illegal relationship with Lucian, he imprisons his daughter. Lucian learns about Sonja's imprisonment and sets out to rescue her. On their way out they are attacked by the Death Dealers. Viktor is also involved in the chase and when it comes to the fight, it is Sonja who confronts Viktor. When Sonja discloses to him that she is pregnant with Lucian's child, Viktor overpowers her with a knife to the throat and imprisons both her and Lucian with renewed hatred. Sonja is sentenced to death for her crime against the coven at a trial presided over by her father and the Council. After Sonja's death, which Lucian is forced to bare witness to, Lucian attempts a further escape. Failing, he is able to verbally summon both the wild werewolves and the freed Lycans, who attack the coven and overwhelm it after a fierce battle.

Finally Lucian faces Viktor in a fight and they battle their way to the dungeons. The fight continues back and forth until Lucian knocks Viktor down a well. Lucian tears at chains hanging from above, making a hole in the roof and allowing sunlight in and cornering an enraged Viktor in the darkness. Viktor's 'final' words attest to his regret at not having killed Lucian the moment he was born, to which Lucian sarcastically agrees before forcing his sword through Viktor's mouth and head and letting the body fall into the water below. Lucian declares this victory as only the beginning of what will surely be a war between the races, one bred for slavery and the other born into privilege. In one of the closing scenes we see Tanis leading a very alive Viktor, who survived due to his status as an Elder, into a hibernation chamber on a boat.

The film ends with the opening scene of the first Underworld, with the audio from the scene where Kraven tells Selene that it was Viktor who murdered her family, rather than the Lycans. That Viktor spared her because she reminded him of Sonja, the daughter he condemned to death. The last word is played over the shot of her eyes: "Lies."

Movie Review: Underworld Rise of the Lycans

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans succeeds in all the areas is needed to in order to deliver a fun time at the movies while failing to deliver what it required to make it really special. I’m disturb out a bit of Viktor, some bad visual effects and lack of real style are overcome just enough by the pure amount of Vampires fighting Vampires, the effectiveness of the continuity with the first Underworld film and the decent performances by Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy and Rhona Mitra to end up being the best of the franchise so far and worth a trip to the movie theater.

Underworld Evolution is the second film in the underworld series, following the Underworld in 2003. Evolution continues the battle between Vampires and Lycans, but highlights glimpses of their origins some centuries ago.

The events of Evolution begin during the same night of the first film’s finale, and ends only one night later.

Underworld Evolution Plot

Underworld: Evolution opens with Vampire Selene recapping the events in Underworld. Selene had been a Death Dealer for the Vampire clan for 600 years when she was betrayed. She explains how Kraven, ruler of the Vampire clan, formed a secret alliance with Lucian , ruler of the Lycan clan. When the Lycans found a third bloodline (human) that also descended from ancestor Alexander Corvinus, they tracked down descendent Michael Corvin and turned him into a Lycan. After a big fight between Lycans and Vampires, Lucian was killed by Kraven. Before Michael died, however, Lucian told Selene to bite Michael: "Half Vampire, half Lycan -- they're stronger than both." Thus, Selene turned Michael into the first Hybrid. Selene then beheaded Elder Viktor, and she and Michael went into hiding.

With two of the three vampire Elders destroyed, Selene's only hope is to awaken the last remaining Elder, Marcus, who is still in hibernation, and expose the truth before Kraven can kill Marcus. Selene hides Michael in a safehouse and heads over to the Vampire mansion to plead her case. Unfortunately, Kraven has already attempted to awaken Marcus, who has morphed into some sort of batlike creature, and Marcus has killed Kraven as well as all the other Vampires in the mansion. By drinking Kraven's blood, Marcus learned everything that has transpired while he was in hibernation, including the making of Michael into a Hybrid. Marcus locates the safehouse in which Michael is hiding, but Michael has gone out for a bite to eat. After downing half a plate of potatoes and cabbage, he begins to barf (being half Vampire, he needs to feed on blood). Suddenly a newsflash is shown of him on the television. Several of the restaurant patrons try to hold him with their guns, but Michael escapes. Selene realizes that Michael is gone and goes after him. Michael has been shot several times and is in need of blood, so Selene makes him drink some of hers.

Just then, Marcus flies in. He attempts to drink from Selene (to gain her memories and knowledge), but Michael pumps a few bullets into him. Selene and Michael steal a truck and outrun Marcus, who flies behind them. Suddenly, Selene notices the sun is about to rise. Michael helps her drive the truck into a warehouse and darkens the windows with paint. The two of them hole up there for the day. Big love scene follows. After sunset, Selene and Michael go looking for Andreas Tannis, Vampire and exiled historian of Vampire history, in order to get him to identify a pendant necklace that has been in Selene's possession since childhood. Selene learns from Tannis that the pendant is actually a key to Lycan William's prison, a place that was built by Selene's father. Selene now learns the truth about the slaughter of her family: Viktor did it to keep anyone from knowing William's whereabouts. Selene is the only one left who might remember where William's prison is located, and that memory is locked in her subconscious. It is for this reason that Marcus wants her blood...so that he can find William. Viktor did not fear for William and Marcus's lives when he ordered William imprisoned for all eternity. He feared that destroying William would destroy the entire Lycan bloodline, thus leaving the Vampires without renfields.

Tannis arranges a meeting between Selene and Lorenz Macaro the only one who may have the power to stop Marcus. Before Selene and Michael can get to Lorenz Macaro, however, Marcus gets to Tannis and learns that there were actually two keys, the one with Selene and the other sewed inside Viktor's abdomen, a key that was removed by Alexander Corvinus upon Viktor's death. Lorenz Macaro turns out to be Alexander Corvinus. Selene begs him to help her stop Marcus, but he refuses to kill his own son. Suddenly, Marcus appears. Michael tries to fight him, but Marcus impales Michael through the chest and takes Selene's key that Michael was holding at the time. Selene shoots Marcus, who flies off. She removes the impalement from Michael's chest, and then drains her own blood over the gaping wound...to no avail. Michael is dead.

Marcus runs a sword through his father and takes the key that his father took from Viktor's chest. Marcus is now in possession of both keys. As he lay dying, Alexander slits his wrist and makes Selene drink his blood in order to pass on the legacy. "What will I become?" she asks. "The future," Alexander replies. As a helicopter takes off, carrying Selene cradling Michael's body, Alexander blows himself up.

Now that Marcus has both keys and the knowledge of where the door lies, he opens it and finds William waiting. Selene leads the helicopter to where she remembers a secret passage into the prison and enters, along with a few backups. Once in, they hear the roar of a werewolf and meet up with William. Selene fires at William just as Marcus appears. Selene fires at Marcus, slowing him just long enough to get through the open door and close it behind her. Unfortunately, a bit of rock prevents the door from closing all the way. William catches up with Selene again. She fires at him repeatedly and blows up the cavern in which they are located. Suddenly, all the backups killed by William begin to turn into werewolves and converge on Selene.

Meanwhile, back in the helicopter, Michael lives! He leaps from the helicopter into the fracas and helps Selene battle with William. However, Marcus has managed to get the door open, and he, too, joins the melee. The first thing he does is to grab on to a rope hanging from the helicopter and bring it tumbling down into the cavern where it catches on a catwalk and lies there, blades still spinning. Now it's Michael against William and Selene against Marcus. Eventually, Michael manages to behead William, and Selene shoves Marcus into the helicopter blades, tearing him to pieces.

As the sun comes up and Selene realizes that she is no longer burned by the light, thanks to Alexander Corvinus's blood, she and Michael enter each others' arms. Big kiss scene follows.

I really enjoyed this movie which was again directed by Len Wiseman. It provides a very good explanation as to why the events in the Underworld transpired and also gives the movie a beautiful ending. I liked that many secrets were revealed and things were less vague as compared to the Underworld.

Underworld is a 2003 action horror film directed by Len Wiseman starring Kate Beckinsale as Selene and Scott Speedman as Michael Corvin. It film is about the secret history of Vampires and a type of werewolf known as Lycans. It is the fisrt film of Underworld series.

Selene is a vampire who is a death dealer hunting lycans who finds herself attracted to a human Michael Corvin who is being targeted by the Lycans. After Michael is bitten by the Lycan, Selene must decide wheter to do her duty and kill him or go against here clan and save him.

Underworld Plot

1400 years ago, Vampires had decided that the best way to ensure the survival of their species was for three Elders--Viktor, Marcus, and Amelia--to 'leap frog' through time, one ruling while the other two slept, each being awakened at their appointed time according to a never-to-be-broken covenant. 1,000 years ago, during the reign of Viktor, the oldest and strongest of the Elders, the Vampire-Lycan War began. 600 years ago, Kraven set the 'great blaze' which killed Lucian, the leader of the Lycans. Kraven brought back a brand cut from Lucian's arm as proof of his death, a deed which earned Kraven high favor with Viktor, who put Kraven in charge of their coven. The great blaze caused the Lycans to scatter. Vampire Death Dealers, armed with silver bullets and shuriken, have been picking Lycans off one by one until very few remain.

Present time: Three Death Dealers--Selene, Rigel, and Nathaniel -- follow two Lycans into the subway. A firey battle ensues in which Rigel is killed, one of the Lycans gets away, and Nathaniel comes up missing. In the fracas, Selene makes two discoveries: 1) the Lycans have devised an ultraviolet bullet, and 2) there appears to be a large band of Lycans amassing under the subway. Selene hurries back to alert the Vampires, but they are more interested in the clothes they are going to wear at tonight's party with the coven from across the 'great ocean' in celebration of the upcoming awakening of Marcus by Amelia, the current reigning Elder. Not interested in their gaities, Selene views some digital photos Rigel took of the Lycans and notices that they appear to have been following a human. A computer search reveals the human is Michael Corvin, an intern at a local hospital. Meanwhile, the wounded Lycan` has returned to the Lycan den with the bad news that he lost the candidate he was tailing, as well as to have the silver bullets and stars dug out of his body so that he can regenerate.

Selene pays Michael Corvin's apartment a visit. While snooping, she overhears a phone message about his involvement in some 'shoot out.' Now convinced that she is right about the Lycans stalking Michael, she tries to interrogate him just as his apartment is raided by a pack of Lycans. While Selene holds them off, Michael escapes in the elevator, but the doors open to a face-to-face confrontation with Lucian, the current leader of the Lycans. Selene attempts to shoot Lucian, but he is intent on biting Michael and spitting the blood into a vial which he takes to Singe, who has been researching humans with the last name of Corvin, so far with negative results. He analyzes Michael's blood and pronounces it 'positive.'

Selene and Michael make a getaway together, but Selene has lost a lot of blood in her fight with the Lycans. She passes out, the car leaps into a river. Michael saves her, binds her wound, then passes out himself. When Selene awakens, she takes the unconscious Michael back to the Vampire's mansion, incurring the wrath of Kraven, who wants Selene to be his future queen and is jealous that she seems smitten with Michael. When Michael finally comes to, he is face-to-face with Erika [Sophia Myles], who realizes that Michael has been bitten and is becoming Lycan. Erika leaps to the ceiling and starts hissing at him. Scared shitless, Michael jumps out a window and escapes the Vampire's mansion.

Although it is forbidden to delve into the past, Selene decides to do a little reading about the history of the Vampire-Lycan War, particularly the chapter on the Fall of Lucian. She notices that the Lucian in one of the pictures is wearing the same medallion that she noticed the current Lucian wearing during the fight at Michael's apartment. Could he and the Lucian that Kraven supposedly killed 600 years ago be one and the same? Could Kraven and Lucian be conspiring together? Could the fact that the Lycans are amassing near the Vampire coven portend an attack on the Vampires? When Erika informs Selene that Michael has been bitten and is turning Lycan, Selene has heard enough. Against the covenant rules, Selene decides to awaken Viktor and ask for his guidance.

Michael has begun having hallucinations and wants to know what is happening to him. Selene takes him to their Lycan interrogation room so that he can hide for the night. She also gives him the good news --he has been bitten by a Lycan, and during the next full moon (tomorrow night), he will turn into one. The hallucinations, she tells him, are memories passed to him from Lucian. When Michael asks Selene why she cares about what's happening to him ('Do you intend to bite me, too?'), Selene explains that the lycan virus and the vampire virus are incompatible and no one has ever survived a bite by both species. When Michael asks her why she hates Lycans so much, she tells him how Lycans slaughtered her entire family and how Viktor arrived just in time to save her from the same fate. Viktor made her vampire and then raised her like his own daughter. Selene then handcuffs Michael to a chair, gives him a gun with silver bullets, and advises him to use it on himself if she isn't back by tomorrow night.

Back at the mansion, Viktor has fully awakened and is being briefed by Kraven. When Viktor learns that he's been awakened a full century ahead of schedule, he is livid. Not even Selene's attempts to explain her findings appease him. In fact, Viktor basically tells Selene to let Kraven handle this and that she will be judged by the council for breaking the covenant. Kraven locks Selene in her room.

It is the night of the full moon. It is time for Amelia's train to arrive, and Kraven has ordered Soren and his team to fetch her and the council members. Erika, who has wanted to be Kraven's mate for a long time, cuts the power to the main gate, allowing Selene to run to Michael. Selene releases Michael, but they are attacked by Lycans. Selene stays to fight while Michael jumps out a window. When Michael lands on his feet some five or six stories below, he is immediately captured by Lycans posing as cops. On the way to the Lycan den, Michael begins the change. The Lycans pull over, and they dose Michael with an enzyme to stop the change.

Selene has captured Singe and brings him to Viktor where Singe is forced to explain how, for years, the Lycans have been trying to combine the blood lines. They've been testing descendents of Alexander Corvinus, a 15th century Hungarian warlord who was the sole survivor of a plague that ravaged his village and turned him into the first immortal. From Corvinus's offspring, one became the Vampire line, one became the Lycan line, and one remained human but carried the imprint of the original immortality virus hidden in its genetic code in dormant form and passed down through the ages to Michael Corvin. Lucian plans to inject himself with blood taken from Michael and from a powerful Vampire elder, creating a hybrid--both Lycan and Vampire--but stronger than both.

Concerned that Amelia has not yet arrived, a group of Vampires are sent to find out what's taking so long. They find that Amelia and the council members have all been assassinated, having been bitten by Lycans. In addition, Amelia's blood has been totally drained. When Viktor finds out, he orders Selene to kill Michael.

Meanwhile, Michael is being held at the Lycan den, where his visions have suddenly become clear and he now knows what started the Vampire-Lycan war. Many years ago, Lycans were the renfields for Vampires, but it was forbidden for Vampires and Lycans to fraternize. Lucian and Viktor's daughter Sonja fell in love and mated, creating a hybrid child that Viktor would not allow, so he (Viktor) placed Sonja, his own daughter in the sun where she burnt to a crisp while Lucian was made to watch--'His own daughter burnt alive just for loving me,' says Lucian poignantly--and Viktor has spent the last 600 years exterminating the Lycan species so the bloodlines will never blend.

Kraven knows he's been found out. He was indeed in league with Lucian. Together, they planned Lucian's 'death' 600 years ago so that Lucian could lay low. Now the agreement is for Kraven to gain control of both covens by obtaining an ironclad peace treaty with the Lycans, while Lucian gets revenge on Viktor.

Time to knock off a few main characters. The Vampires, along with Selene, Kahn, and Viktor storm the Lycan den. Kraven shoots Lucian with a silver nitrate bullet (The silver is in liquid form so that it will go directly into the Lycans' bloodstreams and cannot be dug out). When Michael tries to escape, he is also shot by Kraven. As Michael lays oozing silver nitrate from his wounds, Kraven tells Selene the true story about her 'dark father,' Viktor. Her family wasn't killed by Lycans but by Viktor himself. Seems he didn't like the taste of livestock very much, so once in a while he would engorge himself on human blood. Since Selene reminded him of Sonja, he spared her and raised her as his own. Selene is stunned.

When Kraven demands that Selene go with him, she refuses. As he's about to shoot Michael again, the dying Lucian runs a sword through Kraven's leg and tells Selene to bite Michael. 'Half vampire, half lycan -- they're stronger than both.' Selene does it. Kraven finishes off Lucian. Michael turns into a hybrid [Lycampire or Vampthrope?] and, after Michael and Viktor tussle a bit, Selene cuts off Viktor's head. Selene is now to become the hunted.

Some people will think that a film is about vampires and werewolves are inherently silly, and should be watched only for its visceral thrills (which 'Underworld' certainly has). Yet at a time when mainstream American discourse would have us believe that in war everything is black and white, 'Underworld' represents an important voice of reasoned dissent in its suggestion that war is in fact a morally messy business, with complicated and often misunderstood causes – which makes 'Underworld' not just a kick-ass monster free-for-all, but also a vampire film with unexpectedly political bite.

I rate this film 10/10. I really like the movie and get excited to watch the next series of this movie which entitled New moon. I haven’t read the novel and I don’t want to try to read it because I’d like to watch it more exciting. Unlike other vampire story this is not a horror one and I really love this love story. In which, two lovers are totally different and still fighting for their love no matter what happens.

Alone is a 2007 Thai horror film starring Marsha Wattanapanich. Parkpoom Wongpoom and Banjong Pisanthanakun directed the film which is also the director of Shutter horror film.

Alone is a story of Pim who moved from Thailand to Korea to escape the guilt of being the surviving half of the conjoined twin.

Pim was born as a twin, conjoined at the stomach with her sister, Ploy. Ploy acted as an older sister, and was very protective of Pim. While they were staying in a hospital, Pim and Ploy met a boy named Wee. Although they both loved him, Wee only returned his affections to Pim, which made Ploy angry and jealous. Finally Wee recovers from his illness and was able to leave. As he is getting into the car, Wee decided that he wanted to see Pim for the last time. Since the twins' room was on the second floor, he decides to call to her but Ploy would doesn’t like to get out of bed even Pim wants to see Wee . Wee is upset and leaves. Angry with tears, Pim decided that she and Ploy must be separated. The twins had an operation to separate them, but Ploy did not survive.

Several years later Pim who is now living in South Korea with Wee, receives a phone call from Thailand that her mother had a stroke. When Pim and Wee return to Thailand, Pim is always seeing the ghost of Ploy. Wee becomes curious into Pim’s family affairs and he learns that Pim is actually Ploy. It is reveled in a flashback that Ploy strangled Pim in a jealous rage after Pim demanded to be separated with her twins. Their mother arrived when Pim is already dead. That’s why in order to save the life of Ploy the doctors had to amputate Pim's corpse from Ploy. Ploy pretends to be Pim’s identity in order to be with Wee.

After confronting Ploy, Ploy takes Wee hostage, but not before killing her mother. However, Wee escapes, and the ensuing fight with Ploy causes the house to catch on fire. Wee escapes, but a shelf falls on Ploy. Trapped underneath, Pim's ghost confronts and holds her down, taking Ploy with her as burning debris rains down around them. In the end, Wee visits Pim's grave, apologizes, and places a necklace on her tombstone.

Movie Reviews : Alone 2007

Overall the film is great. I like the way they directed the twist of the story. Before seeing the flash back of what really happens to Pim and Ploy I didn't realized that Ploy is just pretending to be Pim’s identity. I give this movie a rate of 10/10. I am recommending this movie to all.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan is a 2008 American comedy film starring Adam Sandler. The film was directed by Dennis Dugan and written by Sandler, Judd Apatow, and Robert Smigel, produced by Sandler's production company, Happy Madison, produced the film, and it was distributed by Columbia Pictures. It is about Zohan Dvir, Israel's hero and its greatest counter-terrorism army commando who, after growing tired of his Israeli post-draft's standing service, fakes his own death in order to pursue his dream to become a hairstylist in New York City.

Zohan Dvir works as a Mossad Agent and lives with his orthodox parents in Israel. He is hanging around at the Tel Aviv beach, attracting several women and capturing the attention of every beach-goer with his Hacky Sack prowess including a clumsy Fizzy Bubelech drinker. He wants to give up this life to pursue his dream to become a hairstylist in New York. So while in the process of apprehending a Palestinian activist, known simply as the Phantom, he fakes his death, hides in a dog-kennel on a plane bound for New York, and decides to try his hand as a hair-stylist. He is refused employment initially, but when he offers to work for free, Dahlia hires him as a cleaner. When an hair-stylist, Debbie, quits, Zohan replaces her, wins over elderly female clientèle, and falls in love with Dahlia herself. Before Zohan could propose to her, Dahlia's landlord, Walbridge, who has been raising rents regularly, hires skinhead goons to terrorize the neighborhood, create misunderstandings between Jews, Muslim, Arabs, and Palestinians, and drive them out, so as to enable him to construct a new building which is topped by a roller coaster. When Zohan decides to confront these skinheads, he does not realize that he is in for quite a few surprises himself.

I like this movie. Very funny and worth watching. I really like Adam Sandler's movie. This is a mighty hymn of and to vulgarity, and either you enjoy it, or you don't. I found myself enjoying it a surprising amount of the time, even though I was thoroughly ashamed of myself. I rate this movie 10/10.

The Dark Night is a 2008 film which is based on the DC Comics directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan. The film is a sequel to 2005's Batman Begins. Christian Bale reprises the lead role.

The Dark Night focuces on Batman's fight against villain, the Joker and his relationships with police lieutenant James Gordon, district attorney Harvey Dent and his old friend and love interest, assistant D.A Rachel Dawes.

One year passed after taking out Ra's Ghul's plan to have Gotham eliminated and the mysterious disappearance of DR. Jonathan Crane AKA the Scarecrow, and after the was nearly plundered with his toxins, Bruce Wayne AKA Batman continue the seemingly endless effort to bring order to Gotham, with the help of Lt. James Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent. But new threat has now emerged into the street and the Dark Night faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker. Most of the scenes is running and fighting with Joker.

Movie Review : The Dark Night

I rate this movie 10/10. I really like the the movie more than I liked the Iron Man film. From start until the end of the film it is full of action and suspense. Joker is really hard to catch. The Dark Knight manages to exceed expectation with a villain so maniacal, his desire for destruction begins to make sense to the point you understand his desire for all out anarchy while you are cheering for the opposition in a war that basically boils down to one side against individual terrorism. The film presents a character so destructive and without a care for those landing in his path of decimation that you are left to your own devices. Love him. Hate him. Hate to love him or love to hate him, director Christopher Nolan has guided an actor into a dark realm not often realized. The Joker finds his place alongside villains that go by the name of Hannibal, Scarface and John Doe himself.

The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 film which is adopted on the Marvel Comics Hulk. It starred by Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner / the Hulk and directed by Louis Leterrier. It is not a sequel to Hulk (2003) film.

The Incredible Hulk detailed the events after the Gamma Bomb. It tell's the story of Dr. Bruse Banner, who seeks a cure to his extraordinary condition, which causes him to become a giant green monster when he feels emotional stress. On the run, he attempts to cure himself of the Hulk before he is captured by General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, but his worst fears are realized when power-hungry soldier Emil Blonsky becomes the Abomination.

Movie Review : The Incredible Hulk

I rate this movie 9/10. Compared to the 2003 movie, The Incredible Hulk is quite better because the movie got more detail and more action. The movie is generally favorable and I would recommend having this Hulk movie.

Iron Man is a 2008 film directed by Jon Favreau which is based on fictional Marvel Comics. The film starred by Robert Downey as Tony Stark who is an industrialist billionaire and master engineer who is captured by terrorists in Afghanistan to build a missile for them. But instead of building a missile he uses his resources to build a powered exoskeleton to make himself escape. Returning to United States, Stark improves his armor and he becomes superhero called Iron Man.

The film was very nice. I really love this. I never thought that it would be more creative and realistic. Once you see this movie you'll love to watch it over and over again. The effects was totally amazing. I'll recommend this movie to everyone. Watch it and you'll never regret because the film is fantastic. I'll rate this film 10 out of 10.

A Tales of Two Sisters is a 2003 Korean Film directed by Kim Ji-Woon. It is inspired by a Josean Dynasty folktale entitled "Janghwa Hongreyon-jon", which has been adapted for several times.

The film tells the story of two sisters who return to home after spending time in a mental institution. They live together with their father and cruel stepmother. During their stay on their home an interfering ghost and their stepmother's obsessive and unbalanced ways affects their recovery.

The film was too confusing. There's so many flash back within flash back that gets the attention of the viewer. In every scene you would ask if what is real and what really happen to her sister? Who killed their mother and her sister. The story of two sister are divided into three part that tells, if what really happen to her sister. The first story tells that their stepmother killed her sister Su-yeon, the middled story demonstrate how Su-mi killed her younger sister but in the end it revealed the real reason why her sister died. No one killed her sister but Su-mi and her stepmother is the reason why Su-yeon died.

What if you grow up with a beautiful face and nice skin but there's a shocking truth behind it?

Cinderella revolves around Hyun-soo and her mother, Yoon-hee, who is a plastic surgeon. She operated a number of Hyun-soo friends. But after the surgery that has been done to her daughter friends, the girls started to experience sinister side effects, seeing horrible visions, which leads them to do some pretty nasty stuff to themselves. Hyun's friends died into mysterious deaths, which lead her to find out the truth that her mother is hiding to her.

Hyun-soo is also experiencing weird things and heard a voice of a girl and telling her that he owns Hyun-soo face. Now, the only way Hyun-soo can save her own life is to find out the shocking truth, even though it threatens to destroy the close bond she shares with her mother.

Sooner she discovers a hidden basement and there, she comes to find a secret from her past that her face was owned by a girl who had been lost for so many years. The last scene will revealed the truth on how did it happen, that the face of a lost girl became her face.

The story is good and not boring. The movie is well directed in which every scene would explained the twists on the secret. At first I thought Hyun-soo is not the real daughter but at the end of the story I've realized she is the real daughter and her face was taken from the child that had been lost for so many years.

Evil goes online in Hellraiser 8 : Hellworld. There is a popular game known as Hellworld. Once you played this game it will takes you through virtual version of The Lament Configuration itself. And if you die there's no way out to hell. You will sent straight to hell.

There is upcoming Hellworld(one of the most popular video game) shin-dig and a group of Hellraiser Hellworld fans is invited. Chelsea, Derrick, Allison and Mike are grieving the suicide of their friend Adam, who is addicted to internet game called Hellworld. Their former friend Jake blames them because they have not stopped playing the game even their friend Adam was unstable. When the group receive an invitation in Hellworld party Chelsea decide to join the group and surprisingly find Jake in the party. He explains that he was invited by the girl he met in chat room. The party was hosted by the owner of the place, who will shows some of his macabre collection. Sooner they will find out that they're having party in hell.

I appreciate Hellraiser 8 : Hellworld, the plot was good and not boring. It is not the best sequel of Hellraiser but much better than the previous ones which only makes me sleep while watching. The movie also had a twist but I don't get confused with the story because it is well directed.

Before anything else I would like to define serendipity. Serendipity was define as good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries. In love we call it Serendipity if we accidentally meet the person who is destined to be our life time partner.

Have you ever thought that you will met your soul mate someday? The one that is destined to be your partner forever. They say that you will know that he/she is your soul mate if you fill complete the first time you saw him/her. In this big world it's really hard to find the one that is meant for you. How far would you travel just to find him/her. And if you find him is it worthy? Would he/she bring happiness to your life and fill the other haft of your heart? But what if you find him/her at the wrong time? You are both committed. How would you proved that you were meant to be? This is the story that would answer all your question about serendipity.

Serendipity is a romance movie that deals with fate, destiny and chance. It is about two people Jonathan Trager (John Cusack) and Sara Thomas (Kate Bekinsale) who accidentally met in a department store one Christmas while shopping for gloves in New York. After a night of talking and romancing, they sense that they have chemistry but they are both committed so they decided to test fate by splitting up and seeing if destiny will brought them back together. So Jonathan writes his name in a $5 dollar bill and Sarah writes her name and number in a book entitled Love in the Time of Cholera, and cast both items to the world. They declares that if items comes back to them they were really meant to be together.

Mostly of the scene is consists of repeated coincidences that fate leads them but they don't actually meet. Years pass by, and have their own lives - Jonathan is in New while Sarah is in San Fransisco and they're both engaged to be married. They still hope up to the last minute of their wedding that fate reunite them together. Jonathan enlist the help of his best man to track down the girl that he can't forget at the shopping store. While Sarah ask her fiance for a break before their wedding. Together with her best friend she flies from California to New York hoping that destiny would lead her soul mate back.

At the end of the movie after searching for their fate they find each other again. If you would ask if the things that will give a sign that they're destiny comes back to them? My answer is yes, it comes back to them before they do the search for each other. Fate bring the things to them just to proved that they were destiny.

Movie Review : Serendipity

The movie was good and very romantic. But I think the movie was impossible to happen in real life. I think we should not let the fate lead us. We are the one who create our own destiny. If you would only wait for your fate your life would be non-sense. We shouldn't wait for our soul mate instead have fun and meet other people. We would only realized the person is really meant for us if we accept him for who she/he is. Destiny is not about finding a sign but how you accept each other in spite of their weaknesses and let each other complete the other half of yourself. Soul mate is the one who complete yourself, not the one who will complete the sign. Don't look for the sign instead follow your heart and create your own fate with the one you love.

Plot of Resident Evil : Extinction

Years after the Raccoon City disaster, the T-Virus escaped and now spreading through the ground and threatens every human being undead, the Umbrella Corporation was unable to contain it. The virus spread all over the country infecting majority of the population and almost every living creatures become zombie, and the world itself is near on extinction. It appears that the Umbrella Corporation is the only organized society of living humans left in the world.

On the other hand, Alice, the Umbrella's greatest Bio-Organic Weapon, is now alone in the desert, struggling to survive and bring down the Umbrella Corporation lead by Albert Wesker and head researcher Dr. Isaacs. During her travel in the Nevada desert she once again join the forces with Carlos Olivera, along with new survivors Claire, Nurse Betty, K-Mart. Together they will try to eliminate the deadly virus that transform human into zombie.

Umbrella Corporation tried to locate Alice by using her psionic powers. Dr. Isaacs defies Wesker's direct orders and create a new super zombies transported to convoy's destination. While the forces of Alice is continuing to battle with the zombie's, the Umbrella staff sees Alice in the position and attempt to shutdown her but she resist and destroys the CPU on Umbrella's tracking Satellite.

Isaacs group tried to get Alice but he was accidentally bites by the zombie. On Umbrella's station after returning from the failed mission to get Alice, Issac was arrested and lock on his lab. Captain Slater was ordered by Wester to liquidate Issacs but when he is going to kill him on his lab he find him injecting himself with masses of the Anti virus. However, the effect on Isaac was opposite, he started to mutate and become tyrant. He kills all the employee in the facility.

The White Queens manages to trap Isaac and tells Alice that she must pass through lower level to create a cure for the infection, which her blood can do. Passing through the lower level she sees her clone in a vegetative state. While examining her clone Isaacs interrupts and attack Alice but she stabs him with a knife.

The clone then awakens and looks dying in Alice's arm so she covers it with her coat and leaves to kill Isaacs. Their battle happens in replica of Spencer Mansion, fighting using both telekinesis powers. The battle ended in a replica of the laser room and Isaacs was cut into pieces after the lasers has been activated. Alice is about to cut into pieces also when the lasers suddenly disappear.

At Tokyo, Japan, Wesker is having a meeting with the board of Umbrella and tells them that the North American branch has been lost, and he will now control further scientific experimentation from Japan. By using holographic technology Alice appear at the meeting and told them that she and her friends are coming for them now. Alice is standing besides with her clones when they stumble onto the rows of pods containing her other clones and the film ends.

The movie is fantastic. I enjoy it than the first sequel. The movie is not boring like the other thriller that I have watched before. Usually, I get bored when watching thriller movies but this movie is really worth watching. To all guys out there who was not yet able to watch it I recommend this movie and I'm sure you will love this movie.

Wrong Turn 2 : Dead End is a sequel of Wrong Turn in which there is one mutant who survived named Three Finger. The story is about a group of 6 contestant participating in reality television show called “The Ultimate Survivalist: The Apocalypse”. The show was hosted by a retired Marine, Captain Dale Murphy. The group doesn't know that the area is populated by mutants family which will lead to their tortured death.

The film was directed by Joe Lync and produced by Jeff Freilich and Eric Feig. It was written by Turi Meyer and Al Septien.

Trivia

The film was originally intended to be a prequel, but after the project was put on hold, Turi Meyer was hired to write the script and it became a sequel.
In the original script involved the returning of two surviving characters on first movie.
It was only shot for 33 days.
The film starred Daniella Alonso who is also starred in Hills have eyes 2.

Hellraiser 7 : Deader is about a journalist for London newspaper named Amy Klein who is sent to Bucharest to investigate an underground suicide cult which is lead by a guy named Clive Barker who possess a power to resurrect the dead. But once Amy pierces the underground scene, she realizes that there’s a certain box connected to the cult.

Like the other Hellraiser 5 and 6 it is another confusing story in which I can't figured out if which is flashback, which is dream and what is real. Amy experienced same tortured scene but different setting that she has a knife at her back and she was dying. Tortured scene started after getting a box from a girl who's known to commit suicide but the truth is the devil on that box do it. At her house Amy drink a few glass of wine and tortured scene started to possess her.
