I am a huge movie buff. I have a collection of movies that can easily rival even the most stocked video store. I’m always buying the latest releases and also catching up on a few classics here and there.

One of my biggest tools in my movie arsenal is watching upcoming movie trailers. I find upcoming movie trailers all over online. I have found some websites which are completely dedicated to the topic. I find all sorts of upcoming movie trailers on these websites such as those for horror movies, comedies, and documentaries and even sneak peaks of movies which just started production.

From my upcoming movie trailers sources, I compile a list of movies that I would love to see and make sure I keep up with the release dates. I also have a list of “Maybe’s” where I make the final decision on whether or not to purchase the movie, based on reviews after the movie is in theaters.

All in all, the internet is a great resource for movie buffs like me, who look for upcoming movie trailers and the next best thing to movies.

• IMDB - International Movie Data Base is the place to go for information on any movie ever made. They have the most comprehensive list of all movies in the world and are a very good source for research or just education if you are a film buff.
• Moviefone.com - An overall good resource for finding movie times and previews on the current stuff. Their reviews are ok, but I go there more for what's new and hot.
• Rottentomatoes.com - Best place for critic reviews and ratings of movies coming out. They have some previews, but mostly I go there for the reviews because they tend to be somewhat accurate. My general rule of thumb is to not see anything under 40-50% fresh, and it has worked for the most part.

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson go head-to-head in the new movie “Bride Wars,” opening in theatres on January 9. This is romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson (Liv) and Anne Hathaway (Emma) that follows two best-friend brides who find they've scheduled their wedding dates on the same day, same place and same time. This new movie, directed by 13 Going on 30's Gary Winick is rated PG for suggestive content, language and some rude behavior. It also stars Candice Bergen and Kristen Johnston.

The new movie 'Seven Pounds', directed by Gabriele Muccino, is an honest, emotional story of a man, Ben Thomas (Will Smith), who as the result of a tragic accident in his past sets out to redeem himself through his interaction with seven strangers. The new movie due to be released on 12/19 also stars Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, Michael Ealy, and Barry Pepper.

It has a runtime of 118 minutes and is rated PG-13 for thematic material, some disturbing content and a scene of sensuality.

“The Day the Earth Stood Still” stars Keanu Reeves in this adaptation of the seminal 1951 sci-fi film. Directed by  Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), this new movie release is the story of an alien traveler, Klaatu (Reeves), who heads to Earth along with his bodyguard robot, Gort, to deliver a warning of planetary destruction if the people of the world fail to bring peace to their civilizations.

The new movie also stars Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, and Kathy Bates  and opens in theaters December 12. It is rated PG-13 for some sci-fi disaster images and violenceand has a runtime of 110 minutes.

"Frost/Nixon" is a new movie due to be released December 5 and is directed by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard.  The screen writer, Peter Morgan ('The Queen,' 'The Last King of Scotland') brings to the big screen the scintillating battle between Richard Nixon (Frank Langella), the disgraced president with a legacy to save, and David Frost (Martin Sheen), a jet-setting television personality with a name to make. This is the untold story of the historic encounter that changed both: 'Frost/Nixon.'

For three years after being forced from office, Nixon had remained silent, but in the summer of 1977, the steely, cunning former commander-in-chief agreed to sit for one all-inclusive interview by David Frost to confront the questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon intended to easily outfox the breezy British showman and secure a place in the hearts and minds of Americans.

Frost's team on the other hand had doubts about their boss' ability to carry off the interview. A charged battle of wits resulted when the cameras started to roll. Would Nixon dodge questions of his role in one of the nation's greatest disgraces? Or would Frost bravely demand accountability from the man who'd built a career out of stonewalling? Over the course of the interview, each man would reveal his own insecurities, ego and reserves of dignity--ultimately setting aside posturing in a stunning display of unvarnished truth.

"Frost/Nixon" not only re-creates the on-air interview, but the weeks of around-the-world, behind-the-scenes maneuvering between the two men and their camps as negotiations were struck, deals were made and secrets revealed... all leading to the them facing each other in the court of public opinion.

Also starring in this new movie release will be Kevin Bacon, Rebecca Hall, Toby Jones and Matthew MacFadyen. "Frost/Nixon" is rated R for some language, with a runtime of 122 minutes.

The new movie “Four Christmases” starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon will be released in theaters on November 26. The new movie release finds happily unmarried San Francisco couple, Kate and Brad, socked in by fog on Christmas morning and unable to go on their much- anticipated exotic vacation. Instead, they end up visiting their own families, which they had happily avoided up to this point.

Kate and Brad unenthusiastically visit one..two…three…four relative-inhabited gatherings and find themselves embarrassed by childhood fears, teenage wounds reopened and their future together becomes very uncertain.  Brad can’t wait to leave parents, step-parents, siblings and nieces and nephews.,. counting the days. Kate however, finds herself drawn into the family relationships, thinking they aren’t so crazy after all.

The new movie release rated PG 13, for some sexual humor and language, also stars Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen, and Jon Voight and runs 82 minutes.

Bolt is a new movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios due to be released on November 21. Bolt is the tale of a superstar TV pup (voice by John Travolta) who gets plopped in the middle of America with seemingly no way back to the glamour and glitziness of Hollywood. Because Bolt has a starring role on a hit television show, he has become a household nameand really believes in his heroic image from the TV show . He thinks he really possesses the super-canine powers of his fictional television series.

When he's accidentally shipped from Hollywood to New York City, he must rely on the help of his two newfound friends, Mr. Mittens (voiced by Susie Essman) an abandoned house cat, and Rhino the hamster, who is addicted to TV. They help him try to make it back to the set in time for the next show. Her comes thhe adventure.

The new movie stars the voices of John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Susie Essman, Mark Walton, Malcolm McDowell. It is rated PG for some mild action and has a run-time of 96 min.

The new move, “Quantum Of Solace,” which continues the high excitement adventures of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in “Casino Royale,” opens in theaters on November 14. 

007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal after he is betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved. Bond pursues his determination to uncover the truth with M (Judi Dench) by interrogating Mr. White (Jesper Christensen). White reveals that the blackmail organization, that consumed Vesper, is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. 

In the new movie forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a Haitian bank account where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful, but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless business man and power within the mysterious organization. 

Typical of Bond movies, James is lead on international missions to Austria, Italy and South America.  In the new movie Bond discovers that Greene is plotting to take total control of one of the world's most important natural resources. He  is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (Joaquin Cosio). Greene uses his associates in the organization to manipulate his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government and  promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country. This would  give the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land. 

In this new movie, set in a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond joins forces with old friends in a battle to get to the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene's sinister plan and stop his organization.

"Soul Men" is a upcoming new movie release about two former backup soul singers Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) who travel cross country to perform at a tribute concert in honor of their famous former band leader. They haven't spoken to each other in 20 years but reluctantly agree to travel together for the tribute performance. Both Jackson and Mac will do their own musical and dance performing in the film. This was Bernie Mac's last film before his untimely death.

"The Haunting of Molly Hartley" is a new movie due to be released on Halloween, October 31. In this tale of spell-binding suspense, something evil lurks just beneath the lush surfaces of teenaged girl's private school world and it holds the rights to her very soul. Now, on the eve of her 18th birthday, Molly Hartley is about to discover the truth of just who, or rather what, it is she is destined to become....

"Role Models" is a new movie due to be released on November 7. A synopsis of the plot is about two men who trash their company’s company truck and find themselves at the mercy of the court. The men are given the choice  of jail or 150 hours of community service. The new release stars Seann William Scott (Wheeler), Paul Rudd (Danny) Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Bobb’e J.Thompson and Jane Lynch.  This comedy is directed  and written by David Wain, rated R and has a runtime of 1 hour 35 minutes.
