Sylvester Stallone recently released an "Ultimate Edition" of First Blood where he handled the commentary duties alone. That can only be because of the way THIS commentary track came out, which was recorded a few months earlier. Featuring Sly and director Ted Kotcheff (and even a mysterious but brief appearance from Brian Dennehy), this could be the definition of uncomfortable. Our spies had to dig deep to unearth this one.

Listen to director Rowdy Herrington, star Patrick Swayze and cinematographer Dean Cundey recollect on the making of this true action classic. Why this was tossed is a mystery. It's full of candid stories and heartfelt memories. A real find.

Our Handy How-To

What you're going to want to do is this: Download our episode MP3s and get yourself a copy of the movie that's being commented on. We'll try to make it easy and never go after hard-to-find movies. These movies will be readily available either online, at your local video store and when possible we will pick movies that appear on Comcast's Free Movies On Demand feature!

Go ahead and turn up the commentary podcast and turn down the volume on the movie. Each podcast will begin with a description of where to start the movie and give you a pleasant beep. (ex. "At the sound of the beep, press play on the movie and you should see the MGM lion roaring.")
