At first, the movie seems like a sad-sack love story: Jack (Hoffman, Academy Award winner for Capote), a limo driver who likes reggae music for its positivity, gets set up with Connie (Amy Ryan, Gone Baby Gone), a trouble-magnet telemarketer, by their mutual friends Clyde (John Ortiz, Fast & Furious) and Lucy (Daphne Rubin-Vega, Wild Things). Connie inspires Jack to improve himself: he starts learning to cook and to swim (so that he and Connie can go boating in the summer to come).
Buy DVD

But as Jack and Connie take tentative, sometimes clumsy steps toward love, Clyde and Lucy's relationship threatens to collapse from betrayal and jealousy. In the wrong hands, Jack Goes Boating would flounder in angst and sappiness. Fortunately, Hoffman and Ryan always reach for the hopeful (and often humorous) side of their characters, while Ortiz and Rubin-Vega vacillate between tenderness and unsettling bitterness. Hoffman makes his directorial debut with this movie, and his eye for telling social detail comes through as strongly as a director as it does as an actor; Jack Goes Boating's greatest strength is the psychological richness of its characters.

Downloads

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

English Subtitle

The Fighter [Blu-ray] (2010)

Format: DVD or Bluray

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41IKKO-yKAL._SL500_AA300_.jpg"/>

Christian Bale (Actor), Mark Wahlberg (Actor), David O. Russell (Director)

It would be a mistake to confuse The Fighter with the story of Mark Wahlberg, though the similarities are striking. Completely convincing as a boxer, Wahlberg plays welterweight Micky Ward, who grew up in working-class Massachusetts. Like the actor-producer, he had eight siblings, one more famous than the rest. Ward's half-brother, Dicky Eklund (a gaunt, crazy-eyed Christian Bale), turned to boxing first, just as Mark's brother, Donnie, preceded him as a performer (first by singing, then by acting). The similarities end there: Dicky, once known as "The Pride of Lowell," traded his promising pugilistic career for a crack pipe (Sugar Ray Leonard cameos as his best-known opponent).
Buy DVD

As David O. Russell's film begins, the smothering Alice (Frozen River's Melissa Leo) manages Micky's career, while the unpredictable Dicky attempts to train him. Despite his talent in the ring, though, Micky can't catch a break until he meets Charlene (Amy Adams), a spitfire of a bartender who encourages him to stand up for himself. When Dicky ends up in prison, and Micky takes on a more experienced manager, his fortunes start to improve, but it isn't in his nature to abandon the people who raised him, so he attempts to unite the various factions in his life before his shot at the world championship slips away. Though Russell paints Micky's mother, brother, and sisters with a broad brush, Wahlberg anchors the scenario with his patient, level-headed performance. Rescue Me's Jack McGee also deserves notice as his diplomatic dad, George.

Downloads

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

Winter's Bone [Blu-ray] (2010)

Format: DVD or Bluray

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FCC2toQtL._SL500_AA300_.jpg"/>

Jennifer Lawrence (Actor), John Hawkes (Actor), Debra Granik (Director)

Family loyalty and self-reliance take on whole new meanings in this dark story of one family's desperate struggle to survive in the Ozark woods of southern Missouri. Day-to-day life is tough in the economically depressed, unforgiving harsh rural landscape that's home to the extended Dolly clan, but it's made much tougher thanks to their history of cooking crank and deep involvement in the local drug culture. For Jessup Dolly and the other men of the family, looking out for oneself has become the first priority. Seventeen-year-old Ree (Jennifer Lawrence) has been caring for her mentally ill mother and her two younger siblings while her father runs from the law. Ree has been managing OK, but when the sheriff shows up with news that her father has put the house up as bond collateral and is unlikely to show for his court date, things get desperate. Ree is well aware of the family code of silence, but desperation forces her to confront her relatives in search of her father, regardless of the personal consequences. One by one, Ree's relatives refuse to help, protecting themselves even at the cost of one of their own

Buy DVD

This is a dark, often violent film that doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of the manic drug culture permeating some rural areas of the South. It is intense, emotional, and extremely effective: it is at times simultaneously uncomfortable to watch and paradoxically riveting. Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes, and Dale Dickey deliver phenomenally powerful performances and are completely believable in their respective roles. While this official selection in the dramatic film competition at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival doesn't align well with many of the details in the Daniel Woodrell novel on which it's based, what is absolutely faithfully rendered is the overwhelming sense of resolute self-reliance, complete desperation, and intense, yet distorted family loyalty.

Downloads

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

Avi File part-4

English Sub Title

ALL AMERICAN ORGY: CUMMINGS FARM

Format: DVD

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51b7WA4PdVL._SL500_AA300_.jpg"/>

Laura Silverman (Actor), Adam Busch (Actor), Andrew Drazek (Director)

Nothing is more relaxing then a trip to cottage country with a group of friends. The result is that the movie doubles its pleasures: While the robbery itself has the usual suspense of a heist film, when the robbery is over the hoods find themselves being hunted by the police, the government, and brutal criminal kingpins who were storing dangerous information in a safety deposit box. The Bank Job won't win any awards, but it's enormously fun. Director Roger Donaldson (No Way Out, Species) propels the action along with vigor, editing zippily with perfect clarity among multiple storylines and various colorful characters. Jason Statham (Snatch, The Transporter), as the leader of the bank robbers, successfully steps away from his usual bone-crunching roles to a more human presence. The rest of the cast--including Saffron Burrows (Deep Blue Sea), Keeley Hawes (Tipping the Velvet), David Suchet (Poirot), and many faces familiar from British film and television--give their characters the right degree of personality and flavor without getting fussy or detracting from the headlong rush of the story. A little sex, a lot of action, a sly sense of humor, and a twisty plot; if more movies had these basic pleasures, the world would be a happier place.

Buy DVD

Product Details

* Actors: Jason Statham, Saffron Burrows, Stephen Campbell Moore, Daniel Mays, James Faulkner
* Directors: Roger Donaldson
* Writers: Dick Clement, Ian La Frenais
* Producers: Aaron Shuster, Alan Glazer, Alex Gartner, Charles Roven, Christopher Mapp
* Format: AC-3, Closed-captioned, Color, Dolby, DTS Surround Sound, Subtitled, Widescreen
* Language: English (Dolby Digital 5.1 EX), English (Unknown)
* Subtitles: English, Spanish
* Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1
* Number of discs: 2
* Rated: R (Restricted)
* Studio: Lionsgate
* DVD Release Date: July 15, 2008
* Run Time: 111 minutes

Avi File

English Subtitle

The Tourist (2010)

Format: DVD

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51dKrh1xOFL._SL500_AA300_.jpg"/>

Johnny Depp (Actor), Angelina Jolie (Actor), Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (Director)

Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie use their star power to help propel The Tourist to its ultimate, satisfying destination. It just takes a little while to get there. Director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (The Lives of Others) sets a leisurely pace for The Tourist, which lets the film be equal parts mystery, romance, thriller, and comedy. But because of its lush cinematography and location-based shooting, The Tourist is perhaps first and foremost a valentine to the city of Venice. Jolie plays Elise, an international woman of mystery, somehow caught up with a glamorous thief who's double-crossed a gangster, Shaw (Steven Berkoff, splendidly menacing).

Buy DVD

On a train from Paris to Venice, Elise meets Frank (Depp), a schlumpy math teacher from Wisconsin on holiday. Before the train hits Venice, poor Frank has become entangled in a dangerous web that he can't begin to understand. As the plot unfolds, a group of stone-headed thugs dashes after Frank and Elise, darting through canals, across tile rooftops, and into some of the most beautiful hotel rooms in the world. The cinematography of John Seale and the score by James Newton Howard set an immersive tone. Depp and Jolie do a respectable job with their roles, though perhaps because of the mysteries in the plot, as a couple, Elise and Frank lack a certain oomph. But the supporting actors, including Paul Bettany, Timothy Dalton, and Rufus Sewell, are uniformly excellent, and the story (based on the French film Anthony Zimmer) wraps up nicely. Yet the true star of The Tourist is enchanting Venice--and anyone dreaming of a romantic getaway will not want to miss this trip.

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

Action Replayy (New Akshay- Aishwarya Comedy Hindi Movie / Bollywood Film / Indian Cinema DVD)

| Format: DVD

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51HDXqAkBLL._SL500_AA300_.jpg_.jpg"/>

Akshay Kumar (Actor), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Actor), Vipul Amrutlal Shah (Director)

# Actors: Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Neha Dhupia, Randhir Kapoor, Rannvijay Singh
# Directors: Vipul Amrutlal Shah
# Format: NTSC
# Region: All Regions
# Number of discs: 1
# Studio: Shree International
# DVD Release Date: December 28, 2010
# Run Time: 150 minutes

Buy DVD

Review
ACTION REPLAYY is a light-hearted rom-com that should be viewed without really seeking much rationale or logic behind every action and reaction. A slightly dreary first hour, but a racy second hour with top notch performances makes it a fun ride this season. --platform47.com
Product Description
Bunty (Aditiya Roy Kapoor) lives a really bad life, although he believes that if his parents' marriage would have been a love marriage, his life would have been perfect.

But it was actually an arranged marriage so his parents (who are old and aging), dad Kishen (Akshay Kumar) does not get along with his mum Mala (Aishwarya Rai). Bunty always runs away from his girlfriend, Tanya (Sudeepa Singh), whenever she mentions marriage, but he pretty much has developed a marriage phobia due to his parents' arguments.

One day, Tanya's grandfather, Professor Anthony Gonsalves (Randhir Kapoor), gives him the choice to either marry Tanya or forget her forever. Bunty sneaks in and steals the Professor's time machine late at night to transport himself to the 1970's. Now he will not leave until he makes his parents' marriage a love story.

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

Download The Movie English subtitle

The Town 2010 - Crime | Drama | Thriller

Format: Blu-ray

<img style=margin:10px;" alt="movie" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51IJNsrMslL._SL500_AA300_.jpg"/>

The Town 2010 - Ben Affleck (Actor), Rebecca Hall (Actor), Ben Affleck (Director)

Ben Affleck worked triple-time on The Town, in which he directs, stars, and co-adapts Chuck Hogan's Prince of Thieves. After the armed robbery that opens the film, Jem becomes convinced that bank manager Claire (Vicki Cristina Barcelona's Rebecca Hall) saw something, so Doug, who wore a disguise at the time, sets out to make sure she doesn't tell FBI agent Frawley (Mad Men's Jon Hamm) anything incriminating (Titus Welliver plays Frawley's partner).

Buy DVD

Doug starts by asking Claire out, and finds she's more shaken than stirred--and that he likes her better than Jem's oxy-addicted sister, Krista (Gossip Girl's Blake Lively), his sometime girlfriend. Unfortunately, neither Jem nor vicious enforcer Fergie (Pete Postlethwaite) will cut him loose until he orchestrates two more scores--the last to take place at Fenway Park. If The Town offers fewer surprises than Affleck's directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone, he raises the stakes with well-planned heists, nerve-jangling car chases, and deadly shootouts. Though Affleck looks too clean-cut to portray a thug, he gives a nicely understated performance, while Hall proves an inspired choice as a woman who could make a bad guy turn good--or die trying. --Kathleen C. Two low-level hoods (Gerard Butler of 300 and Idris Elba from The Wire) try to get into real estate, only to run afoul of a much bigger crook (Tom Wilkinson, Michael Clayton)--who, thanks to the machinations of a bored accountant (Thandie Newton, Crash), runs afoul of some very nasty Russian mobsters. But at the center of this web is drug-addled punk rocker (Toby Kebbell, Control), who unexpectedly proves to be just as adept at violence, scheming, and smartass quips as anyone else. Everyone seems to be having an infectiously good time; the convoluted plot holds together just enough to keep the action flowing smoothly, though when it's over you'll be hard-pressed to explain how one event led to another. What's most curious about the movie is how Ritchie is completely uninterested in women, even as sex objects. RocknRolla features what must be the most perfunctory heterosexual sex scene in movie history, while lavishing attention on muscular chests, tough mugs, and manly banter. RocknRolla is candy entertainment, fun and fizzy while it unfolds, disposable the moment it's over. There's nothing wrong with that; if all pop cinema was this energetic and cheerful, we'd be living in a much more entertaining world. --Bret Fetzer

Avi File part-1

Download The Movie English subtitle

Night of the Demons (2009)

Edward Furlong (Actor), Shannon Elizabeth (Actor), Adam Gierasch (Director) | Rated: R | Format: DVD

'Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia' is the third installment of 'Behind Enemy Lines', the 2001 action film starrring Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman. Like with the sequel, 'Behind Enemy Lines II: Axis of Evil', 'Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia' is a straight to DVD feature. While none of the principal cast of the original is in this film, Keith David reprises his role from 'Behind Enemy Lines II: Axis of Evil' as MCPO Scott Boytano.

the original NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is hailed as a late 80's "cult classic" by many Horror fans. It's a sinister little movie about a group of partying teenagers who become prey to an evil house possessed by demons. Without a doubt, it's a classic. Even it's early 90's sequel has some what of a loyal following, considering it's "direct to video" roots. It brought all the elements that made the original such an enjoyable film, while taking things into an entirely different and fresh direction. Not to mention NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 2 has an amazing ending with some of the best demon make up ever seen in a low budget Horror film!

Buy DVD
With all of that praise being said, I've always thought of the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS series to be rather weak when compared to other "demon" type Horror movies. Especially films like Lamberto Bava's DEMONS (not to mention DEMONS 2) and Sam Raimi's THE EVIL DEAD series. Don't get me wrong, I loved the first two NIGHT OF THE DEMONS movies (the original being the best) but they weren't without their own faults and I thought other "demon" films to be much better.

Let's talk about the original NIGHT OF THE DEMONS for a second here. I always thought it had a very strong beginning and middle, but things start falling apart towards the end. I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking it. I guess problems like that are to be expected with some low budget Horror films. Putting that one gripe aside, I do think the original NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is a "classic" over all. Besides, Linnea Quigley is awesome no matter what! Also, the make up was great and some parts of the movie were genuinely creepy! The sequel to that film wasn't better but it was still a very enjoyable movie none the less. What made it work as a sequel was that it pushed the boundaries of the special effects, kept the demon make up top notch and added some new and fresh elements to over all story. Also, like I said before, the ending is really good!

Sad to say, the second sequel NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3 is the worst of the bunch. Why is it so bad you ask? Well, let's just say that it's better off left forgotten to the ages. Nowhere near as enjoyable as the first two movies, the third film left a bitter taste in my mouth for a very long time. The make up was atrocious at times (if you watch the movie, look for a female demon with a snake for a hand, it just looks bad) and the over all movie had a very cheap vibe to it. Not that the original film and it's sequel were CITIZEN KANE in terms of quality mind you. NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3 just isn't anywhere near the expectations I had for it in terms of this little Horror series. If part two got it right, why couldn't part three? My advice? Just watch the first two and avoid the third film.

So where does that leave us with this new "remake" or "reimagining" or whatever the heck it is? Well, I will say this. It is a million times better than NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3, but that isn't saying much really. This latest reincarnation does have a lot of it's own faults (some of them just really stupid and uninspired) but we'll touch on those topics in just a minute. First, I just want to say that I was actually really excited about this movie when I heard it was going to be made. I thought to myself, "A new NIGHT OF THE DEMONS movie!?! I can't believe it!" Hearing that news was like getting a little piece of my childhood back! I wasn't sure if it was going to be a remake or an entirely different film within itself but I didn't care. After being very disappointed with the third movie, I didn't think a "reboot" was a bad idea. Actually, I kinda' hoped it would be a sequel (I don't like most remakes and I usually despise prequels) that ignores the third movie without making it obvious. Well, this new NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is kinda' like that but not really. Alow me to explain.

Plot wise, things haven't changed much in the series. The movie starts up with some really nice scenes from the 1920's, giving the audience a little back story as to how the notorious "demon house" became so bad. These scenes are actually really cool because of the over all craft and style during them. They're filmed in a sepia tone, adding to the over all creepy grit that one expects from this series. Here's the story. As it turns out, a group of people were performing a seance in the house a long time ago, which calls forth a bunch of demons from Hell. Almost all of the people there are possessed, with the exception of one girl, who kills herself before she too becomes a pawn of the damned. This kills off the said demons (because they needed seven people to possess to become free, or something like that), but leaves their rotting, cursed skeletons in the basement.

Fast forward to "modern times" (something that always makes a Horror movie dated) and a "Goth" girl named Angela is hosting a Halloween party at the very same house, mainly because of it's dark reputation. Anyone who's seen a NIGHT OF THE DEMONS movie (or any Horror movie for that matter) knows where this story is going. The night of the party comes, people arrive, loud music is played, debauchery ensues, the police show up and ruin everybody's fun and the rest is history. Of course a few teenagers hangout after the police take their leave, dooming many of them to their horrible fates!

I guess you could call this a "remake" but when you (as a director) change so much of the story, you might as well make an entirely different movie all together. Sure, the basic structure of the original film is there but it doesn't "feel like the very first time" to quote Foreigner. If you're going to change a lot, while keeping most of it the same (something that happens to most remakes and still boggles my mind) then you might as well make a sequel! I know a lot of movie studios don't like the word "sequel" when regarding the older series of Horror films, but they need to get over that problem! Most of the people who are watching this stuff are the hardcore fans of the series already, and the younger generation will gravitate to this type of stuff no matter what it is. Horror is popular already without all the fancy remakes, reboots, prequels and "reimaginings." Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Movie studios are only concerned about making box office sales the first week of release. They're trying to "buy" the audiences who wouldn't watch another sequel by making them think it's special as a remake, prequel or whatever. I say, just make a good movie and if you need to follow it up, just make a good sequel. How is that done you ask? Simple really. You just don't take the cheap way out.

Which is why I'm kinda' disappointed with this latest NIGHT OF THE DEMONS film. It didn't have a big budget Hollywood release (which is why some remakes like PROM NIGHT are just awful), yet some how they still get a lot of this movie wrong. My biggest complaint is that most of it just doesn't even compare to the original two films. The "remake" scenes just come off as lame (although the new lipstick scene is still cool) and the rest of the movie just falls for typical Horror movie cliches that most people find to be stupid. Normally that doesn't bother me (I love the FRIDAY THE 13TH movies after all) but when everything else offered up is so weak, it's hard to forgive the movie on the whole.

Another thing I didn't like here was the limited cast. Everyone did a pretty good job in terms of acting but there was just wasn't enough people for the demons to slaughter. You would think that at the start of the movie, during the Halloween party, eventually all of these kids are going to die horrible deaths and become demons! Nope! I guess the director thought the police should bust the party early on, thus taking the cast (and maybe the budget) down to a personal and simple level. It doesn't work for a movie that should have tons of gore, tons of make up and tons of demons running around! NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is really more like two and a half stars film if you ask me.

Yet, everything isn't all bad. On the plus side, they do get some things right. The over all demon make up is pretty good (when they don't use CGI that is) and some of the gory moments bring a little zest to this otherwise paint by the numbers remake. Gore Hounds, look for the classic scene with the lipstick (fans already know what I'm talking about) and another scene has one girl getting her boob ripped off by a demon! The bloody scenes worked very well and they should have used more of them early on.

Another good element is the actors used here. They're not amazing or anything but they do bring a little structure to an otherwise messy film project. Edward Furlong (from TERMINATOR 2 and AMERICAN HISTORY X fame) is always an enjoyable actor, but he is a little (how should I put this?) "dumpy" looking here. I've heard people complain about the way he looks in this movie (some calling him a "fat Elvis") but that doesn't bother me really. His character is a sleazy drug dealer after all. I think his sloppy image is perfect for his role in this film. It's kind of realistic if you think about it. Shannon Elizabeth (from SCARY MOVIE and THIRTEEN GHOSTS) and Monica Keena (FREDDY vs. JASON) are easy on the eye's, which is a plus if you ask me. I thought Shannon Elizabeth did a good job as Angela (sometimes she was actually creepy) but over all she's not as good as the original version. And let's not forget about the Linnea Quigley cameo! It's freaking great even if it doesn't make sense!

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2

Avi File part-3

Download The Movie English subtitle

Resident Evil: Afterlife [Blu-ray 3D] (2010)

Milla Jovovich (Actor), Wentworth Miller (Actor), Paul W.

A barrage of 3-D effects enlivens Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth entry in the seemingly endless action-science fiction horror franchise based on the popular Capcom video game series. Plot, dialogue, and character development all remain secondary considerations; what's key here are the set pieces that allow Milla Jovovich to unleash maximum damage to virally infected zombies, villainous henchmen, and just about anyone else who stands in the way of her stopping the shadowy Umbrella Corporation. Jovovich retains the blend of grit and pulchritude that have made her a fanboy favorite (though said viewers may decry the film's bit of shower-scene interruptus), and she's well supported by returning cast members Ali Larter and Boris Kodjoe (Undercovers) and Prison Break's Wentworth Miller, who, as Claire's brother, is back behind bars in a postapocalyptic jail overrun by plague zombies. And the 3-D effects are impressive and give a shot of adrenaline to the already hyper-driven action and CGI elements. Those looking for more than what the Resident Evil franchise is designed to provide--souped-up, B-movie thrills--are advised to lower their expectations; franchise devotees should be pleased, especially by the film's final scene, which (naturally) sets up another sequel. --Paul Gaita

Buy DVD

The fourth installment of the hugely successful Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Afterlife is again based on the wildly popular video game series, and will this time be presented in 3-D. In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Avi File part-1

Avi File part-2
Avi File part-3
Avi File part-4
Avi File part-5
Avi File part-6

Download The Movie English subtitle

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 [Blu-ray] (2010)

Daniel Radcliffe (Actor), Rupert Grint (Actor), David Yates (Director) | Format: Blu-ray

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I is a brooding, slower-paced film than its predecessors, the result of being just one half of the final story (the last book in the series was split into two movies, released in theaters eight months apart). Because the penultimate film is all buildup before the final showdown between the teen wizard and the evil Voldemort (which does not occur until The Deathly Hallows, Part II),

Buy DVD

The movie was fairly entertaining and is one of the better WWE productions, leaps and bounds ahead of 'See No Evil', but somewhere between 'The Condemned' and 'The Marine'. At times the action can seem like it's out of 'The A-Team', but there are some cool action sequences and the movie should satisfy action movie fans. It's a throwback to military action based movies of the 80's and 90's like 'Sniper' and 'Delta Force'.

Part I is a road-trip movie, a heist film, a lot of exposition, and more weight on its three young leads, who up until now were sufficiently supported by a revolving door of British thesps throughout the series. Now that all the action takes place outside Hogwarts--no more Potions classes, Gryffindor scarves, or Quidditch matches--Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Emma Watson (Hermione), and Rupert Grint (Ron) shoulder the film almost entirely on their own. After a near-fatal ambush by Voldemort's Death Eaters, the three embark on a quest to find and destroy the remaining five horcruxes (objects that store pieces of Voldemort's soul). Fortunately, as the story gets more grave--and parents should be warned, there are some scenes too frightening or adult for young children--so does the intensity.

David Yates, who directed the Harry Potter films Order of the Phoenix and The Half-Blood Prince, drags the second half a little, but right along with some of the slower moments are some touching surprises (Harry leading Hermione in a dance, the return of Dobby in a totally non-annoying way). Deathly Hallows, Part I will be the most confusing for those not familiar with the Potter lore, particularly in the shorthand way characters and terminology weave in and out. For the rest of us, though, watching these characters over the last decade and saying farewell to a few faces makes it all bittersweet that the end is near (indeed, an early scene in which Hermione casts a spell that makes her Muggle parents forget her existence, in case she doesn't return, is particularly emotional). Despite its challenges, Deathly Hallows, Part I succeeds in what it's most meant to do: whet your appetite for the grand conclusion to the Harry Potter series. --Ellen A. From the outset you realize that the movie is geared to the WWE audience as one the characters in the opening minutes of the movie is introduced with a caption noting that he "Loves Jesus and cleavage". Mr. Kennedy's character is introduced with a caption noting that he bench pressed a Civic when he was 15.

Mr. Kennedy makes his acting debut and does a pretty good job. He is credited as "Mr. Kennedy" as opposed to his real name (Ken Anderson) or even his full ring name (Ken Kennedy). While he is good in his role, he doesn't have leading man charisma like Steve Austin or John Cena, and also doesn't have that many lines despite being in most of the movie. You can probably fill up all of Kennedy's lines on 2 pages. Also, despite being featured solely in the marketing and promotion for the film, Mr. Kennedy actually comes second in the credits and is in more of a co-star role than the actual lead. The real lead in the movie is Joe Manganiello, who plays Lt. Sean Macklin and who also receives top billing. Kennedy's role is more like Jesse Ventura's in 'Predator', where he gets in some good lines but is ultimately relegated to the back seat. But it makes sense to have the marketing feature Kennedy since Manganiello won't move many DVD units.

The rest of the cast play their parts well, with veterans Channon Roe, Keith David and Tim Matheson (who also directs) filling out the star cast. If you're a fan of war movies or a fan of Mr. Kennedy, you'll probably enjoy this flick. It's never boring, and features gores of bombs and rat-a-tat machine gun action. If that's your thing, make sure to get a copy today.

Avi File
Download The Movie English subtitle

The Blind Side

Sandra Bullock (Actor), Tim McGraw (Actor), John Lee Hancock (Director) | Rated: PG-13 | Format: DVD

The Blind Side takes the true story of a young man who went from abandonment to success as a pro-football player and treats it with respect. The movie doesn't oversell what is, on the face of it, already compelling. It's almost impossible to describe the plot without sounding painfully inspirational: Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron, Be Kind Rewind), a hulking but gentle African-American teen in Tennessee, gets taken in by a well-to-do white family; the mother, Leigh Anne Touhy (Sandra Bullock), pushes and mothers the boy, who eventually wins a football scholarship to the University of Mississippi. In the wrong hands, this could have been maudlin, manipulative, and condescending. To the credit of writer-director John Lee Hancock, adapting Michael Lewis's acclaimed book, the result is intelligent, genuine, and alternately funny and moving. Leigh Anne could easily have been grandstanding and virtuous, but Bullock doesn't shy away from her vain and domineering side. The football scenes will be gripping even to non-sports fans because they've been so successfully grounded in Michael's emotional life. The all-around solid cast includes country music star Tim McGraw, pint-sized Jae Head (Hancock), and Kathy Bates as the tutor who guided Michael's academic success. Don't be surprised if you can't keep yourself from watching all the real-life photos of Michael, Leigh Anne, and the rest of the family that are featured in the credits; by the end of the movie, you will care about them all.

View Movie Details

Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) knows little about family. Less about football. What the homeless teen knows are the streets and projects of Memphis. Well-to-do Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) knows little about his world. Yet when she and Michael meet, he's found a home. And the Tuohys have found something just as life-changing: a beloved new son and brother. This real-life story of family and of Michael's growth into a blue-chip football star will have you cheering with its mix of gridiron action and heartwarming emotion. Billed as a special-effects comedy, the imaginative film (the top box-office smash of 1985) has staying power because of the heart behind Zemeckis and Bob Gale's script. High schooler Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox, during the height of his TV success) is catapulted back to the '50s where he sees his parents in their teens, and accidentally changes the history of how Mom and Dad met. Filled with the humorous ideology of the '50s, filtered through the knowledge of the '80s (actor Ronald Reagan is president, ha!), the film comes off as a Twilight Zone episode written by Preston Sturges. Filled with memorable effects and two wonderfully off-key, perfectly cast performances: Christopher Lloyd as the crazy scientist who builds the time machine (a DeLorean luxury car) and Crispin Glover as Marty's geeky dad.
View Movie Details

Critics and audiences didn't seem too happy with Back to the Future, Part II, the inventive, perhaps too clever sequel. Director Zemeckis and cast bent over backwards to add layers of time-travel complication, and while it surely exercises the brain it isn't necessarily funny in the same way that its predecessor was. It's well worth a visit, though, just to appreciate the imagination that went into it, particularly in a finale that has Marty watching his own actions from the first film. --Tom Keogh

Shot back-to-back with the second chapter in the trilogy, Back to the Future, Part III is less hectic than that film and has the same sweet spirit of the first, albeit in a whole new setting. This time, Marty ends up in the Old West of 1885, trying to prevent the death of mad scientist Christopher Lloyd at the hands of gunman Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson, who had a recurring role as the bully Biff). Director Zemeckis successfully blends exciting special effects with the traditions of a Western and comes up with something original and fun. --Tom Keogh
Product Description
Experience one of the most popular movie series of all time like never before with the Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy! Marty (Brad Renfro) is a tormented surfer who relies on his longtime pal Bobby (Nick Stahl) for rides to the beach and South Florida bars despite vicious abuse. But when Bobby turns his unwanted attention to Marty's new girlfriend Lisa (Rachel Miner) and her best friend Ally (Bijou Phillips), Lisa decides Bobby's reign of terror must end. Assembling a crew of alienated suburban teens, she forms a deadly plan to get Bobby out of the way once and for all, turning friends into enemies and casual acquaintances into co-defendants in a murder that rocked America to its core.

View Movie Details

"Bully" is as disturbing as a movie can get. It shakes you hard and once it gets its grasp on you, it never lets go until it's all said and done. It's also a movie that is guaranteed to stay in your head for days, no matter how hard you try to forget it. This is a chilling and powerful film, and one of the darkest movies I have seen this year so far.

Based on a true story, "Bully" is about a guy named Marty, who is always getting beaten up and tormented by his best friend Bobby. Bobby's one nasty and mean character who does what he wants when he wants. He's been known to be sexually abusive towards women and unleashes his violent temper upon anyone who gets in his way. Not being able to take it anymore, Marty and his girlfriend decide maybe it's time that something should be done. They get together with a group of friends and decide they have to kill Bobby What seems to be a simple plan falls apart right before their eyes, and once the deed is done they can never go back to the way things were.

This film is directed by the same man who did "Kids," Larry Clark. He does a superb job of orchestrating this brutally chilling force of a movie that knocks the air right out of your body. The cast and crew were also great. Every actor did their roles justice. Especially the man who plays Marty. As I was watching this, I kept asking to myself "This is a true story??" in complete disbelief.

Be warned, this is a VERY uneasy film to watch. Not a second goes by in where there isn't something shocking going on. This is another one of those movies that isn't meant for everybody, but I still think it's an important film. Bullying is a very serious subject that plagues the world every day. This movie reveals the true ugliness of that and shows just how far some will go to stop it.

The DVD doesn't have very much to offer, other than a couple of interviews, a music-only audio option, and a trailer. The picture and sound is really good, considering how low of a budget this movie was made on.

"Bully" is a success in my eyes, as hard as it was to watch. "Kids" is also very disturbing as well, but on much more different level. Again, this isn't a movie that everybody is going to like. In fact, I'm willing to bet that many who have attempted this movie were forced to stop it and were unable to finish it. Be warned, this is a very uneasy movie to watch. The scary reality of it all is these types of things happen all the time...

Peach Award Winners Series: Cruisin' Jennaville

Adult Movie: Peach Award Winners Series: Cruisin' Jennaville
JJenna Jameson (Actor), Alexa Rae (Actor), Jim Monroe (Director) | Rated: Unrated | Format: DVD

The Peach Award Winners Series is the best selling and award winning titles from peach DVD with a a little extra. She began stripping in local clubs at 18 where she made some contacts and started shooting nude layouts for men's magazines. At the age of 20, Jenna started looking at the adult industry as her future. She made a few movies before meeting with Wicked Pictures owner Steve Orenstein. The two agreed on a deal, and Jenna exploded onto the adult arena with an exclusive contract from Wicked Pictures. In one short year Jenna has made a mark on the adult industry that will not soon be forgotten. She was honored with the AVN Best New Starlet award, Best Actress and Best Couples Sex Scene, marking the first time a new starlet has won all three awards. She was also honored with the XRCO Starlet of the Year award and the FOXE Video Vixen award. Jenna is the only performer in the history of adult entertainment to win the best new starlet award from all three voting organizations.

View Movie Details

She was honored with more awards than any other new performer in the history of the adult industry, thanks to her starring roles in videos like Blue Movie, Conquest, and The Wicked One. Soon after, Jenna extended her exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures, and also made her big screen debut in Howard Stern's Private Parts, spawning intense media interest in the flourishing young star. Off camera Jenna is funny, personable and down to earth. She enjoys shopping, water skiing and sex, but not necessarily in that order. As for her dream car, Jenna someday hopes to be driving around town in a Ferrari. Jenna currently lives in Arizona, where she owns a restaurant. She s quick to point out that she loves her fans, and looks forward to entertaining them for a long time to come!
Product Description
Jenna Jameson received an AVN Award for playing a disturbed young woman with revenge on her mind, stalking radio talk-show therapist (Tiffany Million) whom she blames for the breakup of her relationship. Intense action and sex make this one a hit. This film is a fantasy in the classic sense. In order to get the most out of it, viewers must be willing to part with the everyday world for a couple of hours and allow themselves to be swept up by the power and mystique that fills this movie from beginning to end. Jenna Jameson, in her 25th picture for Wicked and perhaps the strongest acting performance of her adult career, is enchanting throughout the movie. Whether it's her flawless delivery of dialogue, a torrid sex scene, or simply an atmospheric shot all to herself, the woman has an undeniable presence that is virtually unequaled in this industry. Her performance here demands a pre-nom for Best Actress Film. Frustrated with her oversexed boyfriend, Jenna retreats to her bedroom and wonders aloud whether fantasy and romance still exist. At this point, her black Pomeranian alerts her to the presence of two faeries (Stephanie Swift and Felecia) who have overheard her musings and decide to send her on a little journey.

View Movie Details

Jameson's quest, as she learns it from the faeries, is to enter a real where an evil prince (Herschel Savage, unrecognizable in special effects make-up) has stolen the essence of fantasy from mortals, and to get it back. Along the way, she encounters several colorful characters and discovers that fantasy is alive and well for them as they enthrall her with unfettered lust. Jameson, entering this world disillusioned, gradually warms up to the friendly surroundings, leading to her scorching exchange with boyfriend Devin Wolf. Sex scenes that really stand out include a threeway with Jameson, Swift and Felecia (pre-nom Best All-Girl Sex Scene Film), Jameson and Wolf (pre-nom Best Couples Sex Scene Film) and a perfectly-shot three-way with Randy Spears, Amber Michael and Johnni Black (pre-nom Best Group Sex Scene Film). Spears snags a Best Supporting Actor Film pre-nom for his double role as Jenna's haughty guide, Octo, and later as the hilarious ogre Kronog. The film's few visible flaws appear to be the result of developing, not cinematography, factors. Such is the creative cost paid when forsaking video for film, but in this case, it was well worth it. In addition to the movie's eight sex scenes (impressive by heat standards in the film genre), four key elements contribute to make this title a winner overall. Brad Armstrong's detail-oriented direction permeates every aspect of the movie, and the entire project clearly bears his personal stamp. Jake Jacobs' and Ralph Parfait's cinematography is ambitious and well-adapted to the theme of the film. Rod Hopkins' art direction is clearly the result of careful planning and thoughtful execution. Finally, the entire rhythm of the picture is dependent upon, and upheld by, Ezra's smooth and effective editing. Supporting elements such as mainstream-like special effects from Dick Roundtree and a mesmerizing score complement the film beautifully and won't soon be forgotten. Solid pre-noms for all of them. Dream Quest is a refreshing addition to the feature genre, which has been saturated with cheating spouse/detective flicks. Couples will no doubt appreciate the change of pace, and enjoy watching this film over and over. --Adult Video News
Product Description
The Erotic Adventure of the Millenium! Brad Armstrong has put together a script, crew and cast that have transcended the genre of adult film. The critics are raving. And what about? Two words. Jenna Jameson. This undisputed queen of adult turns in the unbridled performance of her career. But that's not all. With an unequaled supporting cast, Hollywood level effects, and seamless direction from Brad Armstrong, this is one for the record books. Forget your preconceptions of adult, and experience... In retrospect, the movie suffers from a sense that the cast obscenely tonguing figs was given more attention than showing the characters fulfilling their predacious sexual desires. The disc looks very good, although the print could have used a thorough cleaning (it's possible that the DVD was authored from the same master as the videotape), as there are a fair number of speckles from dirt and gate hairs. The stereo audio is much better than the original tape, which was muddy. The disc includes a commentary track by director Zen, writer Raven Touchstone and make-up artist Lee Garland. Between Zen and Garland, it's probably safe to say that this track is more... flamboyant than the average straight porn viewer might be expecting. It's also interesting to hear Touchstone elaborating on plot points that never came across on screen. --AVN - Adult Video News

View Movie Details

Join Jenna Jameson for a journey into an erotic netherworld.
