I'm Jason and I will be your host. Armed with a couple of cheap camcorders and some PC Editing gear, I try to capture a little slice of my life. Sometimes I make movies. Sometimes I shoot at events. Sometimes I shoot random stuff that looks cool. Sometimes my footage is extremely cool. Sometimes it's mindnumbingly dull. Usually it's somewhere in between. All video content on this blog is shot and edited by me unless otherwise noted. Enjoy.

<media:copyright>Some Rights Reserved - Creative Commons License</media:copyright>
<media:keywords>comedy,progressive,rock,underground,ween,rage,anti,bush,fun,cool,short,film</media:keywords><media:category scheme="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd">TV & Film</media:category><media:category scheme="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd">Comedy</media:category><media:category scheme="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd">News & Politics</media:category><media:category scheme="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd">Arts/Performing Arts</media:category><media:category scheme="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd">Music</media:category><itunes:owner><itunes:email>noreply@blogger.com</itunes:email><itunes:name>Jason Buckley</itunes:name></itunes:owner><itunes:author>Jason Buckley</itunes:author><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="http://www.jasonbuckley.com/video/vlog/images/podcast.jpg" /><itunes:keywords>comedy,progressive,rock,underground,ween,rage,anti,bush,fun,cool,short,film</itunes:keywords><itunes:subtitle>A veritable smorgasboard of video goodies, from comedies to live music video to short documentaries to home movies.</itunes:subtitle><itunes:summary>A veritable smorgasboard of video goodies, from comedies to live music video to short documentaries to home movies.</itunes:summary><itunes:category text="TV & Film" /><itunes:category text="Comedy" /><itunes:category text="News & Politics" /><itunes:category text="Arts"><itunes:category text="Performing Arts" /></itunes:category><itunes:category text="Music" /><atom10:link xmlns:atom10="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" rel="self" href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/MovingPictures" type="application/rss+xml" /><feedburner:emailServiceId>417820</feedburner:emailServiceId><feedburner:feedburnerHostname>http://www.feedburner.com</feedburner:feedburnerHostname>

Zorak Unplugged

<img title="Click to play" alt="Video thumbnail. Here's how it all ends. This episode features a cameo by Reverend Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping. We had been in contact with him about doing this scene during a protest against the World Bank, and the last we had heard from his manager was that he wouldn't be at this protest. Lucky for us, he was the first person we saw when we got there. The funny thing about staging a wedding at a protest is that everybody at the protest thinks it's the real deal.

Technorati Tags: vlog, washington interns gone bad, political comedy, no budget filmmaking, capitol hill staffers, reverend billy

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle>Here's the 11th and final episode of my feature film, Washington Interns Gone Bad. But this is the first time that it's available to download. For the tens of newbies out there, this is a short comedy that I made in the spring of 05 for a short film contest run by the local wuss-rock radio station. I heard about the contest and thought that I only had two weeks to get it made, so I enlisted the help of the funniest people I knew and we came up with the concept, banged out a script, rehearsed and shot it all in the course of a week. Then I edited like crazy before finding out that the deadline was actually a month later than we thought. It never did make it into that contest, but it's played in a few festivals to a good response and was even highlighted by Salon.com's vlog. So without further ado, I give you A Guy Walks Into a Bar...

Play Quicktime version

Technorati Tags: vlog, no budget filmmaking, romantic comedy, san francisco

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle>For those of you who have been watching this vlog for a while, this video is not new. Labor Day is about the people who fought and died to bring us things we take for granted today. Things like the 40 hour work week, job safety, and the end to child labor and company towns. In this day and age of corporate mergers, outsourcing, benefit cuts, stagnating wages and race-to-the-bottom globalization, it is absolutely vital for workers to continue fighting for our rights. And to drive that point home, here's video of Billy Bragg playing a rousing labor anthem in the lobby of the AFL-CIO building in Washington, DC.
