She and I are great friends, we have
everything in common, and we get along
perfectly... but she says that she's just not
attracted to me..."

Have you ever noticed that:

1) The most attractive and interesting women seem
to be attracted to men who don't treat them very
well?

2) That the "nicer" you are to a woman the more
she often seems to act like "just a friend" to
you?

What's going on here? Didn't mom say to be
"nice" to girls?

Here's the deal: Women aren't usually
romantically attracted to "nice" guys. Women are
attracted to men who are funny, confident, and
mysterious. Good looks don't hurt, but if you're
not 6'4" tall and model-handsome, then you have to
learn how to attract women with your personality.

And being "nice" isn't going to do it for you.

A while back, I mentioned an interesting book
that was written about the band Motley Crue.
Remember those guys?

Well, the book is called "The Dirt: Confessions
of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band." As I
read through that book, I realized that these guys
have dated more of the world's most attractive
women than anyone (except maybe Hugh Hefner).

In case you didn't know, the guys in Motley
Crue are not very "nice." They're famous for
taking every drug known to man, beating their
women, fighting, and having a lot of people die
around them.

Now, the first thing most guys say is, "Yeah,
but they're rich and famous..."

And this is true, they are rich and famous.
But, and it's a BIG ONE... all of the women that
they have dated, married, and beaten up are
RICH AND FAMOUS TOO!

These are supermodels and playmates of the year
and such. These women can date whoever they want.
Tommy Lee was MARRIED to both Heather Locklear AND
Pamela Anderson... remember?

These women didn't need Tommy Lee for his money
or his fame... they're dating these guys for some
OTHER REASON!

Are you with me on this?

So what's going on here? And more importantly,
how can you use this information to be more
successful with women and dating?

First of all, don't go out and start taking
drugs and beating up your dates. I mean, I know
that an occasional woman will drive a man to
drink, but I don't recommend going "Motley Crue"
on a girl... lol.

The first chapter of my book "Double Your
Dating" is called "Women Don't Make Sense." Here's
what I mean...

*****Side Note*****

By the way, if you're just learning about how
to be more successful with women and dating, you
need to go and download a copy of my book NOW. You
can download it here, and be reading it in just a
few minutes:

http://www.datingtechniques.com/eBook

Onward...

I believe:

1) Women make decisions very, very quickly about
whether a man is going to be "just a friend" or if
he has romantic potential, and once her decision
is made, it's probably going to stay made.

2) These decisions are made "subconsciously,"
meaning that women make all of them quickly and at
a "gut level."

3) If you know how, you can make her feel
attraction feelings rather than "friend" feelings.

4) The way to do it is to stop acting "nice" and
start acting, well... something else... and I
don't mean "not nice."

So what DOES attract women? And how do you do
it exactly?

Good questions...

At the beginning, I mentioned three qualities:
Funny, Confident, and Mysterious.

Before I talk about each, I first have to
remind you that WOMEN DON'T USUALLY MAKE SENSE.
Remember that.

Here's a good metaphor: Remember when you
learned to drive? It all made sense... turn the
wheel left and go left, turn it right and go
right...

But do you remember when you learned to back
up? Backing up was a whole new game. Everything
that used to work now works in a different way. At
first you feel disoriented. Turn the wheel left
and go right... and you have to learn how to
maneuver with the back wheels staying straight
while the front wheels turn... all with your head
turned around.

For most people, this takes some time and
practice. But once you "get it" then you can do it
anytime you want.

Well, women are very similar. At first it's
very confusing. You have to try things that don't
seem to make sense. But once you get the hang of
it, then you see how it works and can make it
work... just like backing up a car.

As much as many women would hate to admit it,
there's something very attractive about a man who
is just a little more confident than he should be.
And if you combine this with the right amount of
humor, you have a magic combination that will
charm almost any woman.

Here are a few ways to use this idea:

1) When you first meet a woman, tease her about
something. It doesn't matter what it is, as long
as you do it early on. For instance, you might
say: "So what's with the big purse? Are you
carrying a gun in there?" or maybe "Those are some
pretty tall shoes, what are you like 4' tall
without them?" If you tease a woman, it shows that
you're not intimidated by her, and that you have a
fun sense of humor. KEY: Make sure you say
something FUNNY. If you don't know how to be
funny, get a book on it. The test: If she's not
laughing, then it wasn't funny!

2) Look around at other things and seem kind of
pre-occupied when you first start talking to her.
Make your funny remarks with a carefree, detached
tone. You want to sound like you're talking to
your best friend. Attractive women are approached
all the time. It's not attractive to a woman when
you look like you've just met Madonna. This "just
a little too confident" attitude is very
attractive to women... especially when it's
combined with humor.

3) Don't answer her questions directly. Women love
to ask questions like: "What do you do?" and
"Where do you live?" and "Tell me about your
family." Answer with funny answers, and don't give
her what she wants. Most guys say, "Oh, I'm an
engineer" or "I'm a stock broker." BORING,BORING.
If she asks what you do... say, "Oh, funny you
should ask. I'm a Calvin Klein Underwear Model...
What do you do?..." (This is especially funny if
it's OBVIOUS that you are NOT a model) Do you get
it? Keep it up and keep her laughing.

It's important to remember that I'm not telling
you to be mean, or to be a jerk to women. I'm
telling you to start being confident, funny, and
mysterious.

If this is starting to make sense to you, and
you'd like to learn more about the art of
communicating with a woman on a "sexual" level,
then you might want to go and check out my "Sexual
Communication" program.

This is an entire educational program that will
teach you how to use your COMMUNICATION to trigger
and build ATTRACTION with women. All the details,
plus some great video clips are here:

http://www.datingtechniques.com/SexualCommunication

Now, if you want to REALLY learn how to get
away from being a "nice guy" who never gets
anywhere with women, I recommend that after you
read my eBook, you get yourself a copy of my
Advanced Dating Techniques CD/DVD program.

This program will give you an in-depth
education on how to think and behave in such a way
that will spark a woman's GUT-LEVEL ATTRACTION for
you... no matter what your looks, height, income,
age, etc.

You will learn literally HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS
of killer ideas for getting over your fears,
approaching women, getting dates, and taking
things to a physical level.

The best part? I'll send it to you at MY RISK.

I'm not kidding around here. But I
DO get back a lot of letters telling me about the
success that guys are having meeting women after
using it... and the complete transformation that
this success leads to in other areas of life. Go
check out the video preview clips and read
about it here:

http://www.datingtechniques.com/AdvancedSeries

I'll talk to you again in a couple of days.

Your Friend,

David D.

Pacquiao's May 10 or Mayweather's March 13?

Fans are worried about the proposed fight March 13 date of Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

Business wise, Arum said it is the best date for the fight to happen. Reasons are first, it won't interfere Pacquiao's political program (would it?) and two, Mayweather prefers it than a more politically distracted Pacquiao on May 1.

The world is claiming for this fight but since Manny Pacquiao has already filed his candidacy, it would perhaps delay the fight and pave way for tune-up fights, which people don't want to watch.

Some fans say, the March 13 fight would be a fool's decision.

I don't think it should a big worry. IF it's with Mayweather.

Before, boxers fight a lot in a year as often as once or twice a month for 15 rounds. I'm not saying nobody got hurt and damaged but if to compare it with today's advance facilities, it should not be much of a worry -- much more because it's with Mayweather.

It's not that Mayweather doesn't have power. He does because some of his punches can't be seen (like the quick left hook that Marquez received). Mayweather is a "safety-first" fighter and his intention to whoop asses is only for hyping fights.

Arum is a master of this business and he know it's the only way they can get Mayweather (tho Manny doesn't need to chase him). It's not the date. Everything is business of this MOST ANTICIPATED BOXING MATCH ... but we can't let Mayweather get the excuse because of schedules (because this is exactly the excuse he wants).

I may sound very selfish but I do want to shut the mouth of Mayweather and I know Pacquiao can. It's actually his running for congress that is untimely. If Manny then loses, it would be the political distractions that would be blamed for sure.

It's not that I don't trust Manny can do outstanding social welfare for his province, it's just the politics that I detest much. It's like you think you can get away with the foolishness that surrounds it. You can't. Politics is just like riding a motorcycle: no matter how careful you are if it's the driver of a truck who is not careful and hit you ... you will mostly be crushed to death.

IMINGcipation

The talk was done.

The wedding is done.

But you disrespected our marriage by refueling and insisting your biased and close-minded thoughts.

May God forgive you for keeping hold of your traumatized judgment upon us, believing we fornicated before marriage just because of your preconceived interpretation of one picture.

Again, a firewood doesn't have a brain.

I didn't try to outsmart anyone by bringing up the Obegyne challenge. IT was the only way to prove you wrong and we were both free-spirited to do it. (yeah, just to put you to shame).

The truth set us free and we shouldn't need this.

GOD KNOWS we are pure (remember the wedding-in-white resemblance?) in His eyes and with that we live free. It's not our fault if you're clouded with biased judgment.

Frankly, we both didn't want to invite you to our wedding but we conceded after you made ways to get noticed by offering my parents a BLUFFING helping hand.

OROCAN!!!

I have forgiven you but that doesn't mean I like you because I really don't, and I'm sure I won't.

Looking down on me like a firewood (or even like a fresh cut wood) was way too much (like you've known me for even a day ... boooo).

How about looking at your own backyard first? How do I call you? Man's best friend? Cats have never been called so. I may not, too.

You don't watch, patrol and guard. You don't attend to tricks. You don't scare strangers and robbers away. Mostly you're passive and aloof. You scamper and mess up the kitchen. You scratch on the furniture and door jams.

You have a disgusting muck and piss our noses off! Yet why am I still keeping you? Why do I love caressing your smooth silky hair and carrying you in my arms? Don't you ever hate me for beating you up every time you loot food from our table? Why do I like to play with you despite all the painful scratch marks you leave on my hands?

Why don't you resent on me for not providing you the best meals? I don't really know if I could call you man's best friend. You don't shun me despite the unpleasant situations. I could not hear you talk back at me (but you do a lot of meowing for my attention, hehehe). It seems that for you everything is just a game of "hide and seek".

Should life be like that? I don't know. Maybe not. I would be the worst fool if I demand you an answer. But if only you can read this, I would like to say, "You, in some ways, take my blues away." Your purring , waggling tail, and playing around my room simply put a smile (or even a heart-full laugh) on my face.

You're almost more than a friend. I have this knowledge that a room needs to be decorated using ONLY 3 colors/hues/shades. Black & white may not be counted (unless you want to) since they are not considered as colors.

I applied that knowledge to these sets that I will be showing in this article.

The furniture used are borrowed. Some colors added around are just made up by simple materials, like Japanese papers, art papers, etc. They won't be obvious anyway during the shoot.

So enjoy and you may add critics to each picture.

Crazy as you think, it’s his punch that I have been dreamin’ of .. . to hit me. Yes, I know it’s the most foolish wish a fan would want to have; a taste of one legal punch.

I have never been to a real fist fight. I have few casual karate sparring when I was in gradeschool and highschool. They were done in the school backyard out of martial art enthusiasm.

This time it’s boxing. Specifically, it’s science. And to those who see boxing as brute rather than sport, yes it has science! Blame it on Manny Pacquiao, he made me discover a better science than the one I learned in highschool, hehehe!

(the belt and the swells in the face of the photo above is digitally manipulated)

Call it euphoria or too much fanaticism or just plainly idiotic to dream of a punch from Pacquiao, whose punch I might not be able to take, regardless of my junior welterweight size. But instead of being frustrated of not getting that feel-of-a-punch-from-Pacman dream, I opt to buying 2 pairs of nice professional gloves (and one used Mixed Martial Art gloves) to have an exercise-purpose boxing.

I tried Elorde’s Gym (by the way, I’m in Cagayan de Oro) but it was a bit costly at that time since I was a bum (and maybe I am still). So I picked on some friends and fooled them to jump on the wagon of my fanaticism — and I was successful.

We have been doing it every Saturday night. No head gears and mouth-pieces since we don’t need them with our agreed light punches.

But last Saturday night, (June 28), a big tall-enough friend Alex was there (tinkering on his laptop) and got curious while I was wrapping my hands getting ready for our sparring session.

He wanted to try and I let him.

Then he came with his really huge hard first punch. I managed to duck. He didn’t know our rules, or how everything should be as an exercise. I am about to tell him that he should not do it seriously but I chose not to. I thought, "whoa, he’s throwing serious wide punches! I’d better try this with him and see how I would take this new-guy punching syndrome."

It proved to me more than a challenge as he was widely-punching his way through me with really hard blows. I thought, "this is it!!!" I tried boxing (not fighting) him scientifically with everything that I’ve learned from reading boxing forums. I counter-punched him three times to his cheek. But that was after he hit me with one big blow on my CHIN!!!

I didn’t see stars but my world rocked like I was riding in a very small quick-rotating Ferris Wheel. I don’t know if I looked wobbly but I did survive that punch. But not without a deep cut in my upper-left lip. It’s swelling as of today. I guess this is the fastest way to have a pouted lips, hehehe! But not only that, I felt my upper jaw and my front teeth were misplaced or moved an inch to my right. Good thing they are perfectly safe and intact, except for one numbed and in pain front-tooth.

I smiled after that night and said, "wow, that really hurt me but what an experience! Could Pacquiao’s punch that hard?" Alex is about 174 lbs. and I’m the same, so that spells like we two welterweights (almost middleweights) inside a ring.

I did think of having a rematch but since he can’t finish a complete 3-minute round without catching his breath, I guess he’d lose anyway. I have the advantage of psychological & physical conditioning, hahaha!!!

My Manny Pacquiao dream-punch came true in the hands of a friend - Alex Perez!! It could be a lot harder with Pacquiao!!!

<-- the danger of not wearing a mouthguard

Butterflies in the Stomach

When new challenges and opportunities show up in your life, you may diagnose yourself as feeling scared when what you feel is excited. You have not been taught how to welcome the thrill of a new opportunity, and then you withdraw, indulging your anxiety instead of awakening your courage.

One way to inspire yourself to embrace the opportunities that come your way is to look more deeply into your feelings and see thatthe butterflies in your stomach or a rapidly beating heart is not necessarily a sign that you are afraid. Those same butterfly feelings can be translated as passion, curiosity, excitement, or love.

Walking Away

Practice zipping up your mouth! Practice letting go of having to beright! Practice walking away from a conflicted or heated situation, rather than jumping into the fray in the hopes of winning. If you look back, you will see that no one wins when both people are trying to control with anger, blame, explanations, debating, defending, lectures, or compliance.

However, if you choose to walk away, walk away with love and compassion – intent on taking loving care of yourself rather than punishing your partner. Walking away in anger is just another way to control.

But don't walk away too far with resentments. It's simply to say, "back yourself out of the heat" and "strike when the iron is cold."

Choosing Forgiveness

Choosing forgiveness is a necessity for good emotional and mental health, for like attracts like. If you choose to come from a place of gratitude and forgiveness, you begin to vibrate at a higher frequency and naturally draw others in who reflect that back to you.

If your heart is filled with love and compassion, you continually elicit that love and compassion from others. Similarly, if your mind is full of resentment and judgment, you attract others who are resentful and judgmental or who magnify your emotional pain.

Heart Over Career

Life’s Job Resignation #1
Before TFI, I know no In-Design.
Before TFI, I know no Flash animation.
Before TFI, I suck in Illustrator.
Before TFI, I suck in playing pool.
Before TFI, I got no family in Manila.

With TFI, I learned Adobe Premiere.
With TFI, I became immature with PC Games.
With TFI, I lost two dogs.
With TFI, I got to eat in fine restaurants.
With TFI, I met Daisy, who in-turn led me to my fiancee, Nathalie.
With TFI, I learned to play music out of a champagne glass.
With TFI, I enjoyed so much I forgot to do more with my job to get a raise.
With TFI, I got to stay for free in a nice house.
With TFI, I felt so blessed.

But I have to move on and leave all those blessings for a precious blessing that came to my life — that not even a triple raise to my salary can hold me longer.

Sorry guys, I choose my heart over my career. But just in-case you did not,
I want you to know that women, when they’re in or with their emotions(up or down), logic and reasons don’t seem to fit in right away. So validating their feelings and emotions first before presenting your side help a lot.

Being defensive is one thing that depletes them, emotionally. I was once very defensive with my ex. I’m not saying most guys are. I just stated it as one of those that women irk with.
Women are usually irrational. But it doesn't mean all of them(nature can be manipulated a bit with knowledge, you know).

In relationships where love abides and so thus self-confidence to himself/herself and to each other, and questioning would never be a doubt-pest.

Asking is just one of those ways to start a conversation or to know what’s inside one’s mind.
Women are always wondering what is inside men’s minds when talking and expressing is scarce in the relationship.

It’s not always about doubts. Doubting is just one of them when asking questions.
Women ask a lot when they don’t hear very often what they want to hearfrom us men. And when they untimely ask it, it sends off to us a sortof negative appeal.

When we (men) don’t understand this nature, we usually assume it’snagging or doubting. But it’s simply a little of just being reassuredwith them (women).

Women will never get enough of the reassuring thingy. They love to hear it again and again. We guys don’t.

For example, my gf/fiancee/wife dreamed of something that bothered her.She dreamt two nights in a row of sleeping with another man. Each nightwith a different man.

Upon waking up, she relayed the dream to me and asked me "You would notsimply let me go, won’t you? You will fight for me, right?"

Why did she ask? She simply wants to hear something from me. It’s THATsimple. She just want to hear me say, "I will not simply let you go andI will fight for you, honey (langga, baby, etc)."

I want to understand why she was bothered. I know it was because of her dreams.
With that dream, she felt how it was without me and with another man and it gave her uncomfortable thoughts or even feelings.

She wanted to be assured or reassured, not because she doubted butbecause she wants to be comforted. It’s the sadness she wants to kickout … and me, by declaring those words, would do more than justappease her heart.

A hug would be expected to follow. (Isn’t that nice?)

We guys want to be logical with this situation. We want to disect whatmade women ask so. We want to be rational. But "at THAT time" theydon’t need our logic. They want comforting words from us. Saying it forthem won’t mean we condone to the doubting.

On that very moment, she wanted to be validated. She doesn’t wantlogic. Her mind is telling her she got no doubt but her heart is sadand didn’t like the dreams.

We (men) are their comfort so they simply want that from us.

She’s past with her emotions now… but if I never declared thosewords, withholding and depriving her from those words could be simplebut FATAL when resented (of course be her).

Men are logical. Women are emotional. Emotions are always stronger at its moment.

We have to give way first to women’s emotions when it’s at hand beforetelling them what we think. Appease her emotions even if it’s out ofthis world. A hug. A kiss. Or just simply by listening passionately. It’s like a diamond to them. And for sure they WILL reward us.

Don’t worry, scary emotions are short-lived … after they’re validated … credited to her.

It’s THAT simple… we can then throw in ALL our logic and reasons and they’ll be able to listen to our reasoning.

Giving in or validating her emotions won’t take anything less from us(let’s put away our male ego system at these moments first) or even spoilher.

Love can never spoil. Love is faith. Love don't go along with doubts and mistrust.

I'm Kaput!

Flush floods, violent winds, litters, smoke-belchers, and LESS VEGETABLES!!! I was just a kid. I was in front of the tape recorder asking.
My parents have this creative idea of preserving our happy childhood moments. From the time my kuya and I were born, my parents recorded our voices in a casette tape. So, I heard how I cried when I came out of my mother. I heard my first laughter.

They squeezed our baby skins us to make us cry. They ran their fingers all over our vein-loaded body areas us to make us laugh; all just for the record. Ha ha ha, maybe my parents should have been journalists or manipulative investigators.

The recording went on once every year until we reached gradeschool.
I can hear myself say, "uyok man na o, uyok uyok" — a baby-talk of saying "tuyok (rotating) man na o, tuyok-tuyok" As tod, I was pointing at the two small reels of the tape inside the boom box cassette.

There are a lot of funny words I made and they all still make me smile, if not laugh, today. Oh, yes! I have a happy childhood.

Now one of those recorded blah blahs turned out to be a romantic line today, and that is ….
"Hello, hello, na-a ba ko diha?" That was indeed a delightful thought. Perhaps, even the Kingkong has the romantic side behind its monster facade.

The creature has been roaming and looking for its prey. It has found some tasteful encounters — the fat, the ugly, the "fast" food, the poor, the sloppy, the old, the unthinkable, the meaty — but found itself still wanting. Why? Perhaps, he’s been entertaining his wild side or was it?

The creature seems to have found a right prey. Perhaps, it smells good or a bonafide "full-of-spices" but how sure is the creature?

Who cares? Presumably the hunger is still there and there is no right and perfect meal for the creature. But there is always the right smell.

Dear creature, I hope you’ve found what you’ve been looking, needing, and wanting for. Good luck! You may need it though you don’t believe it.

Finally

(transcribed from the song "Love of My Life")

There are so many different kinds of love and mostly I have tried them all. But just when I’m feeling secure with one, my heart’s strings break, and I begin to fall … the hard and painful fall.

So I picked up my feelings and put them away, thinking no one could ever care. But then they (my Kingkang and my God) moved in to that place in my heart, they understood and now I know they’re always there. Now they come over me, released my soul and set it free. They will always be.

I had longed for love that was perfectly pure, and the bond that was equally strong. So I went through the emotions a thousand times but what I thought was love turned out to be all wrong.

Then they showed me how they could be everything. My wife, my maker, my friend and I’ve never been loved like this before. Letting me know we want each other and would do anything what it takes for us to be closer making the sea not cruel anymore.

Finally!

Probinsyano Ako

Karamihan ngayo’y nangangarap makapunta ibayong dagat upang makakita ng swerte at masaganang buhay. Oo, at ako din ay nangarap. All things work together for good to them that love Him.

But I’ve been bad, even a jerk, but it’s all been called for.

I went afar like a nomad in a desert, looking at a spring of water but ended in an oasis. It evaporated as quickly as how the rain gashed from the heavy gray clouds – both making my days arid and damp. I tried to seek for answers and ended hearing my echo (echoes in a desert? hmmm, that’s insane!).

Yet the gray clouds drifted away and the rays of the sun pierced like dancing swords through the clouds. I started to rise eight times, opened my damped polo-shirt, let the fresh air breeze into my chest, threw my arms open and embraced the light. A new world has opened. It was then that I understood how blessed I was despite the heavy rains.

“O Love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul to thee. I give thee back the life I owe …,” hearing the song playing in my mind, I shouted with glee and praised, “it is well with my soul for through the tempest I found a paradise I never seem to see.”

A special someone who makes me closest to where I want my life in and what I know my life is for. How can I blame an adventure I thought was wasted, when all along it was meant for me to meet you?

You believe what I believe. You’re a pure goat (a vegetarian to be exact). You don’t just cook for you are a gifted chef. Unbelievably smart that perfectly complements the beauty of your almond eyes. You have a dream where mud and flowers make a child’s world more colorful than a Disneyland. You have the voice that lullabies any monster to sleep melodiously or by telling a story. I can’t wait to slumber together with my child, or say with our child?

You maybe a dragon or a Kingkang (a female Kingkong?) of today but dragons do heal and Kingkang has a big heart.

The advent of you makes me the Kingkong of today. It seems that I’ve been to the dreamland for so long. I need to be back in reality. There are things that overwhelm me so much that it sweeps me up high, blithe, and fleeting. I’m back on the grounds now. But it was good too in the fantasy island.

I loved prematurely the skies, and now that the wind seems to be unwarry, I need to set my feet back on the ground where it’s more steady. Well, it’s where I started, right? And I guess wondering what the dream land would be like is better than being in the dreamland itself.

Anyway, it works better this way. But it doesn’t mean I’m off the hook or stopped looking up the skies. It’s just that … it takes some right ways. Overhaul. Clean up. Refresh. Renew. Back on the ground.

You Could Have At Least Lied

When you’re apart from someone, there is nothing else you would like to ask or to know but for the assurance of something like "you’ll be in my heart always". But some people take it for granted, while others take it as an inspiration to hold on. But which of these two usually happens? It all depends.

In a relationship, a woman needs love, care, and respect the most of all. With men, they need love, acceptance, and trust most of all.

When each doesn’t get these three basic big things, the rest could hardly follow.

The question is, with a "distance relationship", which is harder to do or to be constant and spontaneous with — giving what women need or what men need?

Or which is easier to give in a long-distance relationship, trust or care? acceptance or respect?

You do the math.

But for most, it takes two to tango.

If you’re the woman, you’ve been cared but isn’t respected … how would that be?

… and …

If you’re the man, you’ve been accepted as you are fully but can’t be trusted … how would that be?

Draining, isn’t it? It would hardly work.

So, all it takes is sacrifice and take the gamble … and yes, to hell with the consequences …

For isn’t it more wonderful to think what love can do? But yet we fear for the worse. So, we doubt.

But how about keeping our doubts to ourselves and rather make it as a secret mind-set and choose on risking (even lying), with fingers crossed, by saying we trust each other and that we want the commitment? Would it work? For others, perhaps.

But taking it for granted is the fear that had be looming over anyone’s thoughts.

That’s why there’s sacrifice.

And that is what we sometimes miss, we lack, we don’t see, or feel.

So, should we take it as a challenge, or should we let go and accept that with this … it will all end up to nothing?

Well, either one wouldn’t want the latter option if both have the mutual feeling.

So, would you lie and say, "I trust you … blah blah blah"?

It could work for a while, I presume. But … truth sets us always free.

The truth is there but sometime we lack faith to see and hold on to that truth.

So, I guess lying wouldn’t be good at all, FAITH could.

Smile.

Define "No Commitment."

When used in a relationship, It could mean: no trust. i don’t want responsibility. i want to be free. no deal. no demands. no boundaries. open for dates. i don’t see a future with you. i’m afraid to love and be hurt again. you’re not rich. you’re not beautiful. or it could also mean, "we-have-a-relationship-when-we-are-together-but-not-when-we-are-away".

It goes on and on and on. when people asked you who she is to you or who he is to you … you could say "a friend" – with unlimited benefits?

I was in this situation BEFORE. my reason? i don’t see a future with her but she’s fun to be with. and that made me a jerk. perhaps, even selfish.
now, is it payback time? is this what they called "karma?"

maybe.

or maybe, it’s just so complicated.

i don’t know. for i haven’t heard anything assuring or i’m just missing and messing it all up.

but there WERE (or are?) actions that can suffice what can’t be heard (or read).

but how would you do that with distance?

risky.

no strings-attached. does that mean you’re open for dates and suitors?

if NO, do you tell people "i’m attached" or you rather present yourself as available for dates?

i wanted to tell the world "i’m attached". and i’m happy with it.

but for me, doesn’t it sound like illusionary, daydreaming, fantasizing? unreal?

maybe.

one sees no extra mile from the other. or maybe, the other one needs not to put those extra miles because of her/his greater faith.

but are you really doing some extra miles?

i know you can do better than that.

is a minute for every hour too much to give? no, not even the busiest. but that only works with heart full of the passion of doing it — regardless how horded your world could be.

if i can’t sense and feel it … and then there’s nothing.

should i always wait for every actions to show up?

and why do i keep asking when i know the answers?

i heard some answers but it’s not living with me everyday.

i don’t know, maybe all these thoughts …

COULD BE …

your thoughts too.

I REALLY DON’T KNOW. or just doesn’t see it the way the she wants to put it.

these doubts hurt.

you have doubts too, i heard.

but everything’s sounds easy out there for you, is it?

as you’ve said, it burdens you not.

so what do i have to keep going?

IMAGINATIONS?

Perhaps,of the past ACTIONS.

Or FAITH.

Actions Speak Louder than Words

Action speaks louder than words. You’ve shown it all when he was with you.

If you’re better off showing how you care thru actions than thru words, how would you compensate that with someone you told you care but in a far distant place? Sending text messages through a cell phone is an act, isn’t it? But sending per se doesn’t necessarily tell how you care except with the words sent. Although for others hi, hellos, and with "when" you send those messages would just do. Should words, thru emails and text messages, compensate the actions you cannot show, it would be much better.

Despite this situation, you would rather not be deprived but instead thankful, for by technology, communication today minimizes any deficit the distance had cost.

But are you making use of it to its fullest?

Sorry, I’m just in-touched with my feminine side. One who likes kids, likes helping out around the house, and who dreams more of growing old with the woman he loves more than he does of being a hero or a business tycoon (but i’d like to do that in my next life - if there is).

But if after all the effort and it ends up with nothing, I’d rather relive my life and be a soldier than be a tear-jerky or hopeless romantic for nothing.

But again, it’s all just because I wanted something big and yet it can’t happen and it seems DOOMED!

No, it’s not only up to me.

It takes TWO to tango.

I Usually Don't Give a Dime!

I usually don’t give a dime (damn) about beggars. We usually don’t, do we? I, or perhaps most of us, have the notion that they just inherited the "begging" act -- if not already in their genes.

To the adult beggars we usually think they are more capable than just begging, thus usually makes us refuse to give a dime. We assume they just think they got no other way but ask and beg. I am not naive to how a true beggar feels.

I have experienced being really broke for almost 2 days and eating only a loaf - half of it each day. It was when I was still a student away from home and all the ATM networks are either unavailable or offline. I didn't have a mobile phone to text or call for financial back up. I used up my last bunch of pennies to pay my way to the nearest ATM hoping I can take out a few bills. But the digits show zeros. That was really pain in the ... stomach?

Tonight, January 10, 2006, I was going home from a shopping spree (thanks to SM Gift Checks). As the jeepney (bound for Philcoa/Quezon Cityhall from SM North Edsa) stopped, a kid crawled on his feet in the jeepney and started wiping each passenger’s shoe. It was not unusual for me for I’ve seen this a lot of times already — AND I USUALLY DON’T GIVE A DAMN.

But that night, I was annoyed with heavy coins in my pocket. I gave them all away to a kid who climbed in the jeepney I'm riding in to wipe the dust off our shoes with a not so clean cloth. There was nothing special after I emptied my pocket.

But as we rode off, I saw the kid sat on the pavement, counted his coins, smiled and look away - as if he was looking at a beautiful sunset in the horizon. He did not look back and smiled at me to give a thank you look (nobody seemed to teach them how to). His mind was carried away somewhere unseen. His far-fetched eyes and smile meant something more.

The kid’s smile was comparable to a man winning a big prize and rightly went on dreaming away with imaginations -- perhaps buying a luxurious car.

The kid's expression made my night. I guess it made me smile too. That smile was really different. It was sparkling. We both sparked.

It gave me the genuine definition of being "generous."

Love Chooses Me

A song goes, "you can never ask too much of love." That goes the same with giving. You can never give less or more of love. There’s no true or false love. Love per se should be enough. If it’s less it’s not love but anything else disguised as. What am I talking here?

It’s been quite a while. Love chooses us and not the other way around. It has been with me for long but those were the Philia and the Agape, and some with lust, I admit. But this time, it’s like … "Hi, thanks for choosing me. We’ve met again. I hope you would decide to mark me for good. You made me the cherry of your target and I will, with glad heart, I will widen it for you to have a lot of spaces to hit for more."

I will.
