In 2009, a 1976 video of Khil singing a non-lexical vocable version of the song "I Am Glad, Cause I'm Finally Returning Back Home" was uploaded to YouTube, and quickly became an Internet meme known as ""Trololololololololololo" or "Trololo", giving Khil the nickname "Mr. Trololo" or "Trololo Man". The song itself was written by Arkady Ostrovsky, and was also performed by Valery Obodzinsky, Hungarian singer János Koós and by Muslim Magomayev on the Little Blue Light program in the Soviet Union. The name "Trololo" is an onomatopoeia of the distinctive way Khil vocalizes throughout the song.
3) Sorry, no link.

You will love this song!

"Baby Elephant Walk" is a tune written in 1961 by composer Henry Mancini, for the 1962 release of the movie Hatari! The composer combines brass instruments (including repeated blasts from the tuba) and woodwind elements to convey the sense of a toddler that is large and plodding, but nonetheless filled with the exuberance of youth. The catchy, jazzy simplicity of the tune has made it one of Mancini's most popular works, prompting its appearance on nearly twenty later compilation and best of/greatest hits albums. As the allmusic.com album review states, "if Hatari! is memorable for anything, it's for the incredibly goofy 'Baby Elephant Walk,' which has gone on to be musical shorthand for kookiness of any stripe. Get this tune in your head and it sticks." Hal David reportedly composed lyrics to Mancini's tune, which were never used.

The cheerful tone, like that of Mancini's "The Pink Panther Theme", presents a stark contrast to more melancholy Mancini standards such as "Moon River". Due to its "goofy" sound, it is often used in a humorous context, as in an episode of The Critic. It was also covered by a number of performers in the 1960s, including Bill Haley & His Comets who recorded a version for Orfeon Records in 1964. It was the closing song at the end of The Lemonwheel, the August 1998 music festival that ended the summer tour of jamband Phish. Mancini's version was not released as a single. The Billboard Top 100 singles were Lawrence Welk, and the Miniature Men.

The Nickelodeon animated series The Angry Beavers features a sped-up version of "Baby Elephant Walk" for the show's end credits. The first few notes were used at the start of play in the video game Crazy Climber. The tune is commonly heard throughout Philadelphia Phillies games at Citizens Bank Park. In The Simpsons it is used by Homer Simpson in the season 2 episode Dancin' Homer where he dances as a mascot for the Springfield Isotopes baseball team. During an episode of Minor Adjustments, Darcy (Sara Rue) observes that the cadence of the song allows one to hum it while watching.
And not started yet :-( Still there is not any post to win 15000EC. Who needs 15k EC? :-)

Actually Lambada is a Brazilian dance for couples. But you might know it as a song by Kaoma. Ref.
The music-clip of Lambada introduced USSR women (and men) those sexy sting-panties :-)
His English was not good and the question "What is your name?" was answered in a wrong way. He wanted to say that he was from Odessa, this is a story how family name Dassin appeared.

Joseph Ira Dassin (November 5, 1938 – August 20, 1980), more commonly known as Joe Dassin, was a French/American singer-songwriter. Joe was born in New York City to American film director Jules Dassin and Béatrice Launer, a Hungarian virtuoso violinist. He began his childhood first in New York City and Los Angeles. However, after his father fell victim to the Hollywood blacklist in 1950, he and his family moved from place to place across Europe, thereafter.

After studying at the International School of Geneva and the Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland, Dassin moved back to the United States to go to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After college, he moved back to France where, while working at a radio station, a record label convinced him to begin to record his songs.

By the early 1970s, Dassin's songs were on the top of the charts in France and he had become very well known in that country. He was also a talented polyglot, recording songs in German, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Greek, as well as French and English. Ref.

Here is one of Joe Dassin's best songs:
1) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (224 Kbps, 5.5 Mb, 00:03:26)
2) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (128 Kbps, 3.2 Mb, 00:03:31)
3) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (128 Kbps, 3.2 Mb, 00:03:30)
Ref. Here is one of Joe Dassin's best songs: 1) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (224 Kbps, 5.5 Mb, 00:03:26) 2) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (128 Kbps, 3.2 Mb, 00:03:31) 3) "Et si tu n'existais pas" by Joe Dassin (128 Kbps, 3.2 Mb, 00:03:30) Link wall: 1 2 3 </itunes:summary>

<feedburner:origEnclosureLink>http://yanevesta.com/mp3/16-Joe_Dassin_Et_si_tu_n%27existais_pas.mp3</feedburner:origEnclosureLink>

"Zelenoglazoye Taksi" by "Global Deejays"

And now I want to give you a chance to listen to an old Russian song by M. Their first three singles were big hits in Europe.
Their song "The Sound of San Francisco" partially samples the 1967 (The Summer of Love) song "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" sung by Scott McKenzie. The video includes scenes of the band in a decorated school bus driving through popular destinations.
In 2005 they won the MTV Award and the Eska.
On April 12, 2008, Global Deejays performed for the first time in San Francisco, the city that made them famous.
January 26 of 2009 saw the remixed version of Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) from Global Deejays debut on the Australian Aria Charts at number 33.
The song also peaked at number 4 on the Australian iTunes Chart.
This was due to the high amount of airplay during the television commercials over summer for Channel Ten's reality program called So You Think You Can Dance (Australia).
April of 2010 saw Global Deejays release "My Friend" with the vocal talents of Danish singer Ida Corr. Ref.

Link wall: 1 2 3

Today I'd like to share another song which is not original Shaggy's song.: "Angel".
About that cool guy:
Orville Richard Burrell (born October 22, 1968, Kingston, Jamaica), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae singer who is said to have taken his nickname from his "shaggy" hair and general appearance and later from the slang term shagging. He has been noted as having a baritone style singing voice. Ref.
About that cool guy: Orville Richard Burrell (born October 22, 1968, Kingston, Jamaica), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae singer who is said to have taken his nickname from his "shaggy" hair and general appearance and later from the slang term shagging. He has been noted as having a baritone style singing voice.
John Paul Larkin (March 13, 1942 – December 3, 1999), better known by his stage name Scatman John, was an American jazz musician and singer who created a fusion of scat singing and dance music, best known for his 1994 hit "Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)".

A stutterer, John liked to say scatting was a process of "turning my biggest problem into my biggest asset". Scatman John sold millions of recordings worldwide and was named "Best New Artist" in the Echo Awards in both Japan and Germany. He was a recipient of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Annie Glenn Award for outstanding service to the stuttering community and National Stuttering Association Hall of Fame.
