It's only Tuesday. The second day of the week. To me it always seems like its going to be a long week when I just so happen to have the weekend before it off. What a great weekend off it was though. Went away for the weekend to the Pocono's with a butt load of people. Twenty of us to be exact. There was not one ounce of stress the whole weekend. Just the way I like it. Can't wait to do it again.

And for good measure we hit up the shooting range. 12 Gauge Slug Shotgun, Scar, 9mm Glock, Desert Eagle and a 308 sniper rifle. Just the way I wanted to end the weekend.

No matter how much you love or hate the Lakers, one thing just so happens to stay the same. They win. Last night's game was ugly. Horrendous. Disgusting and hard to watch to say the least. But a win is a win. No matter how it comes. They say LA needs a Point guard and rightfully so, Derek Fisher is at the end part of his career and not to mention Steve Blake is hurt so of course everyone counts out the Laker Guards. It seems though as if the more things change the more they stay the same. If Kobe Bryant isn't taking a game winning shot there is no one else I'd rather see take it than Fish. LA All Day.

I've come to the conclusion that Asian people are always focused. Except maybe when they drive. I don't care if that's a "racist" joke...I'm actually not even trying to be racist but the times I've been in accidents or close to one...guess who was driving? Jackie Chan...But this right here is pure Perfection. What gets me even more is that he actually looks he is not pleased. Truly hilarious.

Nike Masaryk Gym

Last night I had the pleasure of playing at the Newly Constructed Nike Masaryk Gym in the Lower East Side. It was insane. The homies at Nike treated us like family. We had the locker room with our names on each seat and complimentary Shorts and Jerseys and towels. Also a fridge stocked with Gatorades and Water. You could tell the gym was new from the smell of paint still lingering in the air. It's going to be a weekly thing. I may take some video footage of the gym and always have pictures. Again, shout out to the homie Rafael DaSilva for the invite. I appreciate the love. Till next time.

Here are a few of the pictures I got to take last night. The entrance is a narrow staircase with wallpaper on each side of the walls capturing moments from Dyckman and Other Nike League's around NYC.

The Floor is a black Hardwood with Nike checks on both ends, glass backboards and some Basketball Shooting machines on the sidelines.

Along the out of bounds section are small cubes filled with exclusive and limited Nike Sneakers such as Kobe's, LeBron's and Durants along with Pictures from Nike Tournaments.

The one wall on the right had this quote which is Nike's #makeitcount motto.

Played 5 games and lost one. Was exhausted. Broke out the Zoom Kobe VII's Christmas'. The locker room had a locker for each player providing us with Jerseys, shorts and towels. Too much fun. Thanks again to Ralph and the Nike Family for all the Love.

I'm not a big fan of politics or anything of that nature but I do notice how much of a problem this is. I even remember hearing or reading somewhere that it was amongst one of the top epidemics in the United States. It's amazing. Other countries have famine, people dying from AIDS and other related illnesses while us Americans are just gaining weight. It's sad. I don't have any stats and I don't have any further information. But it's crazy how a picture can make you want to ask a million questions.

These just keep getting funnier and funnier. It always seems to be something I can somewhat relate to. It's funny cause I've had facial hair since I was about 18 and didn't start growing a full beard until maybe 23-24. I've kept it ever since and don't plan on shaving it anytime soon. Well maybe I will. I have too much of an imagination to not try new things. But these posters are hilarious. This one is my favorite out of the batch. Team Full Beard All Day!

Panic Mode.

This Chelsea Season has been frustrating to say the least. We have started the season 1-4 after last night's terribly officiated game. We had a solid defensive approach and it worked for the most part. I know the ref's can't get every call...but the obvious ones should be called. That's neither here nor there. We have to move on to the next one. I still feel last years team was better overall. I don't like to be playing and coaching at the same time. It's frustrating. We need to win the next few games in order to even make the playoffs. It's a challenge that we can hopefully conquer. On a lighter note, the Zoom Kobe VII's are on point. I've played Basketball in the Kobe's since the 4th signature model and they just keep getting better and better. Now with the 7th one you can alternate between the "Strong" and "Fast" system. Last night I played in the "Fast" so next week I'll give the "Strong" a go. Hopefully I'll be writing about a win next time.

Living in New York City I've grown accustomed to doing things a certain way. Or better yet, I've learned to do and not to do certain things. The train. The Metro. The MTA or whatever you want to call it, has a tendency of catching people trying to board their trains right at the moment they're about to set foot in the cars. It's embarrassing and not to mention frustrating. Do they do it on purpose? I think they do. This is why I don't run for trains.
It's happened to everyone who lives here. At least once. He or she who tells you know is lying and they probably got it bad. I've seen
Shoes, coats, scarves, strollers and book bags all been caught in the wrath if a Train Door. They're not motion censored people. They won't open for you. You can think you're Hercules and try and open them yourself, but you'll fail. Miserably. Don't do it. Learn from me. There is a train right behind that one. Don't be this cat. The End.

One thing that scares me is technology. We depend so much on it. Everything has changed so drastically in these past 5 years it's ridiculous. We even use our Gaming Systems to work out..I mean come on, what happened to going jogging? Anyway, this video was made to give people a clear cut look at how we should second guess our technological uses. I barely use my webcam and as I'm writing this I'm spooked. Scary to think you're not even safe from your own computer.

It's really frustrating to like sneakers. Why couldn't I just like something less expensive, less of a hassle to get you know? It's funny though because a lot people get sneakers for different reasons. Obviously right? Yeah I guess but I have my reasons which I feel are different from everyone else. There is so much history behind a pair of Air Jordan's or even a pair of Nike's for that matter. I had the luck of being able to watch Michael Jordan play when he was at his prime. I'd see the sneakers he'd be wearing. Knowing I couldn't get them at the time, I'd still ask for them. I'd be told NO a thousand times. I got used to no getting any. I'd follow the history of the shoe. How the 2's and 3's were photographed as M.J. Jumped from the free throw line. How the 14's are now "The Last Shot" 14's. How the 11's revolutionized leather on a pair of sneakers. It's crazy. We've come a long way from LA Gears and Reebok Pumps. Fly wire technology is in almost every sneaker now a days. I can't say I'm a sneaker head. But I do love sneakers. Certain pairs. I wear them all. I don't let them sit there. You shouldn't either and also thanks for allowing me to rant.

The Holidays can be stressful and time consuming. But there's nothing like seeing the faces of your loved ones when they get their gifts, That's what matters. I hate Christmas music and for some reason to me this sounds like christmas music... But I don't mind it one bit. I'm getting ready as we speak to end another hectic Christmas with my family and loved ones. There's no better feeling than having those that love you and support you around you. My dad is not here and hasn't been here for a few years and I know it hurts my family. In a way it hurts me as well because I see how much it affects them. I guess he'll be here in spirit. To all that read this, Merry Christmas. Cherish your time with your loved ones and definitely value the time you spend with them. All differences and bullshit aside, Love conquers all. Happy Holidays.
