Since here in the Malaysia, we are very much in the season of exams, I found this and thought I'd share it. Apart from the rather serious reality that these answers are pupils' actual responses to an exam paper, they are really quite amusing...

It really goes to show pupils are much more prepared to have a go and be wrong than not have a go at all. As someone who is teaching some GCSE courses, this is an approach that I encourage, not least because:

a) you might be right.
b) you might be partially right and therefore scrape some marks.

If only marks were given for creativity whilst answering an exam paper...

Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe! Water Bridge in Germany.... What a feat!

Six years, 500 million euros, 918 meters long now this is engineering! This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany , as part of the unification project. It is located in the city of Magdeburg, near Berlin. The photo was taken on the day of inauguration. To those who appreciate engineering projects.

Did that bridge have to be designed to withstand the additional weight of ship and barge traffic, or just the weight of the water?

Answer: It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!

Why?

A ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship, regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded. Remember your high school physics, and the fly in an enclosed bottle project???

Similarly, the super sensitive scale proved that it didn't make any difference whether the fly was sitting on the bottom, walking up the side, or flying around. The bottle, air, and fly were a single unit of mass and always weighed the same.

It is claimed that after you dial the number, you'll hear a girl's sad voice repeating something like "Jai Jian le" 再見了.
And you won't be charged for the call.

First I tot this is just another lame prank, getting other to bombard the victim's phone with countless calls. But after reading through other posts, all those who have tried heard the similar voice, then it will just disconnect itself.

OK, so out of curiosity, I dial the number using my hand phone. There wasn't any toot-toot ... toot-toot like other land line phone, but I heard the "Jai Jian Le" instantly, and it repeated until the line got disconnected. My first impression it was actually a recorded caller ring tones.

So here's a few things I found it's weird:
- the number clearly is a land line number, a Penang number, but land line got caller ring tone meh?
- I ask my friend to call at the same time while I'm still at the line, he also heard the same thing.
- Some other forumers claim they have heard different things like, "do you want to come accompany me?" in mandarin.
- Some heard it's a malay guy or a malay girl's voice.

So if you want to try... try at your own risk

rumors are this is the last voice recorded by a girl before she commit suicide.

Here are the top 30 domains that are wasted to the purest form imaginable. PageRank and Alexa are also used in the analysis. Was in class recently and overheard gangs of girls talking bout bras. Personally, as a lady myself, i loathe wearing bra. They suffocate my boobies!However, breasts are possibly a woman's most distinctive feminine feature, adding to our beauty and sex appeal. Despite this, many women(aka many woman and lady that i knew), still do not properly look after their breasts and wear bras which do not fit well, offer little support, and displace the breast tissue, pushing it under the arm or flattening it around the breast wall.

Ladies, listen up! You MUST think of buying a good, well-fitting bra as an investment with both present and future benefits, not only will it prevent your breasts from drooping in the future, but you will also immediately look slimmer and more in proportion. A bra that bulges and doesn't fit properly will spoil the most expensive dress. ( Prevention is better than cure right!) Plus, your bfs will pay you more attention by then, who knows! ^.^

Evolution of a new born Panda

Once upon a time the female panda was pregnant and when the time came she gave birth to this little fellow….

The new born cub was so small and fragile that he seemed to be more of a cat cub than of a panda one…

Attention, good care and all the time needed were spent so that the little cub would grow healthy and beautiful…

In a week, he is already acting as a ” big ” and powerful animal, sniffing around…

At 25 days, the cub begins to look as a panda…the specific black spots have already appeared but he’s still blind…

After 30 days, the cub looks like a little pig ..

In a couple more days, we have a brand new panda cub able to eat and start to play by his own.

When he’s 85 days old, no one knows what he’s up to….

But he still is somehow funny and he sleeps just like a human baby…

Let’s blow the candle, the cub has reached 3 months old ….

Mammals evolve the same way as humans do and still, some people couldn’t care less about them, about the environment and about living a healthy life…

I stumbled upon something quiet interesting over at Alexa Dot Org earlier today and thought that it might be okay if I share this with everyone of you out there.

I was curious to know what sort of news websites Malaysians are going for on the internet by mining such information over at Alexa but to my surprise I found something else that concerns me in way or two. It is hard to believe but it looks like Malaysians in general loves to visit porn sites. I have discovered that there is this one particular porn site (currently ranked at No 51) that is so popular among Malaysians that Alexa have included it in their Top 100 list of popular websites for Malaysians! I’m not kidding here, Alexa said so and if you are not happy with that then you would have to file a complaint to Alexa. Don’t say that I’m purposely creating a wild story here today.

Let’s not waste too much time talking about this sick topic. Just for the sake of knowing, the most popular porn website among Malaysians is Megarotic Dot Com!

To all Malaysian Malays (Melayu) who are working as some Information Technology managers or executives, network or system administrators in some government agencies or companies in the private sector, maybe you should seriously consider banning or blocking this porn website from being accessed by people in your organization. It is a small step towards protecting and saving our Malaysian communities from any social ills. Yeah, I know. Some of you may say that I’m nuts for saying that. :-) But you really have to ask yourself honestly, does pornography has anything good to offer to our Malaysian community in the first place?

$218 Trillion Dollar Phone Bill

I just found the funniest article on Techdirt. It seems a man in Malaysia has been sent a phone bill for approximately $218 trillion dollars.

The story is that it was the man’s father’s phone line, which he had disconnected in January after his father’s death. At the time, he paid the remaining $23 and assumed everything was settled. Somewhere along the way, though, something got messed up, and the man received this new bill, with the demand that he pay it off within 10 days. You have to give the Associated Press credit for admitting that: “It wasn’t clear whether the bill was a mistake, or if Yahaya’s father’s phone line was used illegally after after his death.” However, you have to wonder just how many phone calls it would take, between January when the last bill was paid and now, to create a $218 trillion phone bill. We hope the phone company hadn’t started spending on infrastructure improvements while awaiting the payment of the bill.

I would have a heart attack if I got that bill…

I can see all you jealous heads ranting about this all over the IWC and Youtube, well listen to this little ones, The Great Khali deserves to be the champion, so live with it. I mean like look at things from a realistic angle, that man can crush anyone to pieces, he actually looks like someone who should be a champion. So stop whining about it just because you're either jealous that your favorite superstar didn't win/isn't getting a title shot or because you are racist towards The Great Khali.

Shawn Michaels wants a match against The Great Khali for the No. 1 contender's spot for the WWE Championship, and challenges Khali for it, and gets the match, this is most probably one of the best matches of The Great Khali till now and Shawn Michaels gave him some real tough competition. Kudos for both of the guys!

The Great Khali has no Mic skills

Oh yeah right, so do you really think that someone the size of The Great Khali needs to do trash talking to break his opponent down or to make people/fans amazed/happy/sad? I have said this on many wrestling websites and will say it again, Monsters do not do the talking, they simply knock you out cold, and they then walk away like nothing has happened. The Great Khali knows English and could say some stuff on the mic if the WWE wanted him to, but this does not go with his in-ring-persona of the unstoppable monster.

The Great Khali can't cut a decent promo!

If you think that The Great Khali cannot cut a decent promo then you seriously have not checked out all of his promos OR you do not know the definition of a decent promo. If you look at his latest one in which he told John Cena to "come get some", that really defines a decent promo. So yeah.

The Great Khali is SLOW

The Great Khali is slow? Well what do you want a monster bodybuilder like him to do? Do you want him to jump off ropes doing Senton Bombs? Or do you want some Hurricanranas? Head Scissors or how about some Superkicks? But oh wait, who would he superkick? and who would be able to take his Hurricanranas? Sentons would crash the whole ring down of course.. and You know what... The Great Khali actually is an athelete and is well able to run around. Back in India he even used to take interest and perform in athletics before finally moving to bodybuilding, but yes I can assure you he can run around well enough. Its just that if the WWE makes him run around, it would not be appropiate! It would not go with his monster image and it would just make the whole arena LAUGH to see a guy huge as Khali running around.

The Great Khali cannot sell moves!

YEAH RIGHT... duh.. of course The Great Khali can sell moves and I must say he sells moves much better than Big Show, Kane and MANY other wrestlers including some legends (I won't say this about The Undertaker since he is in the gimmick that doesn't sell moves). Anyways if you saw the Wrestlemania match between Khali and Kane, you could see he sold the powerbomb well, he even sold the F-U's (including the one off the crane) to John Cena pretty nicely throughout their feud, he has sold a lot of moves to The Undertaker back in their last man standing match and The Great Khali also regularly sells moves to even smaller opponents, like he visibly stammers a bit when hit with full force by smaller wrestlers. (Unlike Umaga, Kane, Boogeyman etc. who laugh at Chair shots) Therefore The Great Khali is absolutely awesome at selling moves.

The Great Khali is DANGEROUS

The Great Khali is not dangerous, he is a very good guy to work with in real life and has been practicing wrestling since a fair amount of time. He made a great match against Shawn Michaels and threw him on the announce tables but that DID NOT hurt Shawn one bit, he performed the move with such perfection. Now I wont say this is a great thing, Wrestlers do this stuff all the time, but what I want to say here with this example is that The Great Khali is not dangerous at all. But YES he of course could be dangerous if he did full force moves (which people keep whining he never does) as mentioned above, for example if he did some sort of an aerial move, jumping off the top rope or something, that'd tear the wrestler being attacked in half, THAT would be dangerous of course, but The Great Khali does not do those moves so this is out of question.

The Great Khali has no charisma/The Great Khali will never get over with the fans

This is just wrong, The Great Khali has all the charisma needed to get over with the fans. Its just that his current gimmick does not allow him to get over with the fans in a positive way. HOWEVER, as far as getting "over" with the fans for the heel part is concerned, The Great Khali is quite over with the crowd whenever he steps into the ring. But for those of you who believe he has no charisma, well... lets say, The Great Khali's huge structure itself is enough to attract all the charisma he needs, plus he is a heel wrestler right now, so that kind of decreases the charisma factor. If he turns FACE however, The Great Khali will be VERY popular among the crowd. For example check this video! out

Absolutely hilarious stuff, The Great Khali knocks out Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Lance Cade and Viscera and then finally takes out John Cena as well, the crowd cheered him because they thought The Great Khali was with Cena, just goes on to show that The Great Khali could be a fan favorite if booked right.

As a result of the situation, the girl was severely bruised and not to mention traumatised and what the NINE GIRLS get from their action? ONLY STERN WARNING. This is very disappointing. They should have been expelled to say the least. Previous cases have suggested this. What’s gonna happen to the girls in Malaysian schools? I have heard stories about ragging in BOARDING SCHOOL before but not to the extent of taking a girl in the buff picture. Gosh..

After watching the video.

I feel so extremely sad and sympathetic towards the girl who was being beaten and also for the Malaysian community as a whole.

Angry as well, for the male voices being heard in the video but not lending a hand or at least SOMEONE telling them “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!”

No point telling the police. They wont do jack sh*t, other than maybe hit all the other girls and rape them.

I don’t really think that the issue here is “BERTUDUNG” or not. It’s just the fact that girls have such low morals to do something so ugly like this. Seriously, kalau nak gaduh pun atleast make it fair. not 9 girls against ONE 16 year old.

Oh and NOT having punishment for this disgusting act is just a very bad reflection on Malaysia’s Education Ministry… or what ever… and also proves the fact that anyone can get away with anything; even murder.

That’s not a very good thing! Someone do something.

A seven-legged lamb has been born in New Zealand

Two of the extra legs hang useless behind the lamb's forelegs. The animal has three hind legs, one of them with two hoofs. It walks using its two forelegs and three hind legs.

The lamb was born last Friday on the farm of Dave and Di Callaghan. MrCallaghan said he was surprised to find the seven-legged creature, born with a twin, walking round in the paddock with its mother and normal twin sibling. "I have never seen anything like that," he said.

Although the six-day old bleats like a healthy animal, its abnormalities mean it is unlikely to survive.

Veterinarian Steve Williams at the Canterbury Vets clinic in the rural town of Methven said he believed an error during embryo formation had resulted in the lamb being born polydactyl -- with many legs -- a condition that occurs once in several million sheep.

He said the lamb was also hermaphrodite and missing a portion of its bowel so was unable to pass faeces and would have to be destroyed.

"To keep it alive is probably inhumane really," Mr Williams told the Ashburton Guardian newspaper.

This Headless Chicken is Alive!

At Kunming, Yunan Province, China, a headless chicken weighing 2kg can be seen wandering around a grass patch next to a road on 30 July. Although, the head along with the eyes, mouth and face were missing, it is still able to move around as if looking for food. And it is constantly moving its neck from time to time to peck on the feathers on its body. The head was cut off leaving behind part of the brain and ears so it is still able to hear. Whenever any noise is heard, it would look in the direction of where the sound is coming from. Looking at this headless chicken is pretty scary for passer-bys. Even the dogs were scared off by the smell of blood, pulling their owners away from the scene. This chicken managed to survive for a couple of hours.

The pictures are authentic.

A BBC story from March 16, 2007 said the raid netted $205-million along with guns, drugs, and smaller amounts of cash in Euros and Mexican pesos.

Seven persons were arrested and accused of illegally importing chemicals to make methamphetamines.

Police say the raid took place in a mansion in an affluent part of Mexico City.

This is actually not MCR’s actual music video for their song “Cancer”, it’s an ad mixed with the audio - the result is heart-wrenching and depending on your mood (and of course, personal experience) - this can make you cry.

“Cancer” is one of MCR’s best song from their Black Parade album - the song is about a person’s emotions and feelings in the final hours of impending death. Another of my personal fav song from the same album is “I don’t love you”.

Man pulls vehicle for 40 meters using his eyelid

20 year-old Li Dasheng of Mazhuang village demonstrates his "eyelid power" by pulling a vehicle loaded with 3 guys and 2 girls for a distance of 40 meters with his eyelid!

Mr Li started practicing this incredible skill a couple of years ago, after watching a TV performance of a Shandong man pulling an automobile using only his eyelids. Mr Li also commented that such a skill requires great determination, as only a few people have managed to master it.
