• Must be able to work independently to solve complex issues related to the production of the P&L for Physical Gas Trading
• Due to the nature of the trading business, this individual needs to have an inherent desire to achieve 100% accuracy on the underlying processes of accounting for physical natural gas
• Must be able to train and coach a group of staff and senior level accountants through daily and monthly duties as well as assist with conflict resolution

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordination of monthly receivables/payables review with commercial and credit personnel for physical trading activities
• Monthly settlement of physical buys and sells (current month production and prior period adjustments)
o Interaction with Treasury accountant to ensure proper settlement instructions are updated in the settlement and treasury systems
o Monthly reconciliation of the aged trial balance to the general ledger, including the establishment of the bad debt reserve

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis and assist with monthly reconciliation status tracking

Key Accountabilities
• Review retail credit requests and adjudicate based on Business Credit Policy
• Ability to execute in-depth financial statement analysis and modeling of customer financial statements and trending of key financial ratios
• Recommend contract structures that mitigates bad debt expense given customer’s credit deterioration
• Prepare briefing memos and credit policy override documentation as required

The jobholder is accountable for supporting their appointed C&P Lead in analyzing all interrelated data/issues pertaining to Contracts & Procurement processes, performance and needs, both internal and external.

Responsibilities
The Well Data Analyst may be responsible for:

• Ensure the data quality of Well and Completions data in order to produce quarterly and annual well counts for our F&PA BU contacts.
• Participate in Well and Completions quarterly and annual well count activities.
• Troubleshoot issues with missing data by researching various regulatory sites and systems.
• Promote and facilitate analysis to solve data needs for our daily customer requests.
• Perform QA/QC functions in order to maintain data integrity.
• Facilitate and participate on Well and Completions projects and implementations in order to meet business needs.
• Update Well Master with data obtained via researches of regulatory sites.

We are deploying a Natural Gas Trading system that is built in-house. We seek an individual to support and be a business liaison for the system. The person must:
Develop a deep understanding of all business functions from trading to accounting as related to our in-house system and assist business members in troubleshooting problems related to business functioning of our in-house system. Assist in testing and production deployment of new releases.

Primary Responsibilities
Work under the direction of our Director of Software Engineering. The primary responsibility is to help in supporting our in-house systems (roughly 80% of the time).
• Provide technical support to our users across 2 offices in different locations during trading hours
• Develop a growing familiarity with all aspects of our business: trading, trading strategies and risk analysis; scheduling and operations, accounting and confirmations
• Develop familiarity with system logs, configuration and XML files and databases to expedite response time
• Ability to interface with users directly, understand their problems and help them find a solution
• Research if a problem is caused by a bug, user error, data error, or configuration error
• Test, build and deploy new production releases. Ultimately, control the production release process. Training will be provided for this. No prior experience required
