Ms.Park was taking a picture of us and the Little Read play actresses.We thought that it will be fine that we can take a picture with our class. The Little Read play was really funny and it was really good. My favorite part was when Melba Jane called Ruby a chicken.

Mighty, Mighty Third Grade Year!

I was excited to start with this new bunch of students in August. Now we are a family in our classroom community and have already created great learning experiences.

Our goal is to begin having a daily reporter. The daily blogger will be our photographer and reporter. They will also learn (after much practice) how to download their own photos from the digital camera and post them on line. They will also have the mighty responsibility to report our daily news. Check back often for a glimpse of our classroom. The blog will be printed every 2 weeks and sent home so students can have a paper copy to share as well. Get ready for our adventure! Mrs. Park

Celebrating Mr. Herman

Mr. Herman always does nice things for our class and is a great bus driver. We had a party for him during Bus Driver Appreciation Week, complete with a school bus cake.

We heard many speakers on Career Day. We saw the inside of an ambulance, listened to a radiologist, and saw a traffic signal up close.

Fraction Bunnies

We used snack cakes and cut them into halves and fourths. We used the pieces to make a bunny for spring.

He answered questions that we had for him.

One girl asked ''How many years have you been writing poems?"

"I've been writing poems for 19 years," he answered.
