Ramen X was conceptualized by the same group that brought to you Ramen Bar in Eastwood. I was invited to attend the soft opening of the restaurant by the owner himself ; p DH and I were there ahead of schedule. We need to leave early because we have a movie date right after lol

Oishi Ramen PhP129

DH ordered Oishi Ramen (S3)- a special blend of soy and miso based roast pork noodle.

An order consists of huge serving of ramen with 2 slices of roast pork, half a slice of egg, veggies, green onions and a slice of naruto (fish sticks). You have to mix the spicy red sauce with the ramen to give it a richer and bolder flavor. Thumbs up for Oishi Ramen!

Chikuwa 2 Ramen PhP129

Chikuwa or "Bamboo Ring" is a Japanese tube-like food product made from ingredients such as fish surimi, salt, sugar, starch, monosodium glutamate and egg white. After mixing them, they are wrapped around a bamboo or metal stick and steamed or broiled. The word Chikuwa comes from the shape when it is sliced.- Wikipedia

Chikuwa 7 Ramen is soy based broth. DH knew that I like eating surimi (ground meat) so he ordered this one for me. I was told that the oil is a bit spicy but I was not able to tell because I was sipping and slurping the entire time lol Ok, but not really that loud hahaha

From the outside looking in, you can already see the menu board. The prices are affordable. They were able to sourced some of the ingredients locally that's why they were able to bring the cost down.

We were not able to try the rest of the items on their menu so I guess we will definitely go back!

Ramen X is a pay as you order restaurant. It gives you value for money ramen. It also strives to be the number one ramen bar in the country! Consistency is the key.

It will open 4 more branches within the year in Alabang Town Center, Centris, Neo Chinatown Mall near Mall of Asia and another one that currently slips my mind ; p It's already 1 am so cut me some slack ; p

After Everland, we travelled to Hong Dae to catch the 5pm Cookin' Nanta show. It is a non verbal performance presented through rhythm and beats using everyday tools found in the kitchen. Audience participation is highly appreciated.

People, young and old, can relate to the story line no wonder it is visited by tourists all over the world. I am now part of the 7, 000, 000 people around the world who has seen this show.

We were given seats in the front row (A-12) and center (W50, 000- S), you might think that's all good, right? But loud beats and music doesn't appeal much to me. For me, it's a little bit too loud bordering to noisy. Another thing, slapstick comedy is not for me. If not for the latter part of the performance where the audience were divided into two groups, I would not have enjoyed the show.

As with any other theater performances, there were several groups of performers. We caught the Yellow group. The Head Chef (Gochanghwan) gave a rousing performance and worked the crowd really well. He was actually very funny and the only one that was able to make me laugh.

I hoarded a lot of makeup from Etude House while in Korea. One of the products that caught my attention was the Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips #4 Miss Tangerine Tangerine from the Tangerine line... whew!

When I swatch the lipstick on my hand, I was fascinated by the orange-y color. While I am not usually an implusive buyer, I could not help myself upon smelling the sweet smell of tangerine! It actually tastes like one too ; p

The downside is that you have to reapply it every so often. I don't like retouching. Another thing is, the tube is almost double the size in length than an ordinary lipstick. If not for my love of anything orange because it is said to be the lucky color for the year 2012, I would not be keeping this in my bag all the time.

After nature tripping and skiing, we went to Korea's biggest playground, Everland Resort. I am so excited even if I despised thrill rides! I am like a kid in wonderland!

Our tour guide did not follow the sequence written in our itinerary. Instead of going to Everland on the fifth day, we went on the fourth day. We didn't mind as long as we visit every place written in our itinerary ; p

Express is the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world. DH wanted to try it out but due to time constraint, he was not able to ride it. Waiting time for most rides is 1 hour... waaah!

Color My Brows #2 Light Brown by Etude House

My dilemma started last year when I decided to dye my hair. My hair has never been dyed before so I went to a professional salon, Hair Asia to have it colored in red. In less than 3 months, the color has faded. I figured I can't afford to shell out PhP2, 500 every single time so I bought Etude House's Bubble Hair Color in Wine Red. It's inexpensive and I got the color that I desired in less than an hour's wait. My hair color became lighter with every application of dye. The eyebrow pencil that I used did not match that of my new hair color... ack! My continuous search for a matching color for my eyebrows remained futile until I went to Korea.

While in Korea, I had this crazy idea to dye my hair in The Face Shop's Orange Brown. The difference between my hair color and my eyebrow color is more noticeable. That is a very big problem for a person like me who wants everything in terno. I know, I should have just dyed my eyebrows, right?! Then my problem would have been solved lol

Well, I did the next best thing while I was in Korea... I shopped! I showed my hair to one of the SAs in Etude House and asked for a matching eyebrow pencil. I said I want a lighter color. She recommended a better alternative and suggested Color My Brows in #2 Light Brown.

On our first and second night in Korea, I was disappointed to see the twin beds in our room. For our third night, I specifically asked Mike, our Korean tour guide, to request for one huge bed for DH & I- think king sized bed. But what we got is this---> a double bed from GS Plaza Hotel; p

The bed was way too small for the two of us! We could have fit in if we were model thin lol We were better off with twin beds but I have a hard time sleeping alone. I was hoping we could at least sleep on a queen sized bed that night; p We could not change rooms because the hotel was fully booked on Christmas day ; (

Oh, well, at least this hotel have free in- room internet. Our room looks bigger because our bed was tiny. You can borrow the hair dryer which you see on top of the table from the reception area otherwise, there is no hair dryer inside the room.

You can see an LCD TV in the photo but no 3-in-1 coffee in sight ; ( Breakfast is included though.

I think this room is intended for one person only. Why? Because there is only one bathrobe ; p

One of Wilson's closest friends is back in town and we decided to treat him and his girl somewhere special. On the day that they agreed to meet, we drove around Tomas Morato area scouting for a new place to eat when we remembered the French restaurant we often passed by whenever we go to Trinoma. We decided to check out... Cuisinier.

It was around 5:30pm when we entered the restaurant to check out the menu. The menu is pretty impressive and immediately I have my eyes set on lamb ribs. The price is just right, inexpensive than most of the fine dining restaurants that we have been to. The only risk we got to take is the taste because this is our first visit.

Quezon City restaurants have one main problem- parking but that is not the case for Cuisinier because it has its own gated parking area at the back along Sct. Rallos St. That made DH finalized his decision to reserved a table for 4 that night.

Of course, I ordered my favorite lamb ribs. An order has two pieces of lamb chops. This dish is crunchy on the outside. I wish the meat could be more tender though. I completely forgot about mint sauce because the lamb itself was good enough for me. It comes with a serving of gravy though.

While waiting for our orders to arrive, a loaf of bread and an herb dipping sauce were served to us. See the generous parmesan cheese? I <3 it! I don't know if we can ask for seconds.

It was my first time to try an onion soup, yeah, I know right? So, upon tasting the sweet onion soup, I asked if that's how the soup should taste like, all three of them said "yes!" The soupe a l'oignon in the photo is actually just half of an order because we requested to split the order into two.

We liked the taste of Misticanza than the steak salad. There is only one scallop in the salad but there were several strips of salmon which are mostly at the bottom. The foie gras is so small that you might miss it if you blink. At first, I was a bit apprehensive about tasting it but you all know about DH's convincing power so, yes, now I can say that I have tasted foie gras.

The words "Good for sharing" caught our eyes so we ordered one plus Grant, DH's friend, eats only chicken. Think carbonara but instead of pasta, you get chicken instead in this dish called poulet en cazuela. And yes, all four of us were able to taste this dish.

This dish reminded me of Hossein's Mache Polo. It came out last and I was not able to enjoy and savour this dish. Well, it's just my reason to go back to this restaurant ; p

Food presentation wise, I have seen better- Celsius. Overall, I will recommend this restaurant for dinner dates. The servers were efficient. The food came out pretty slow but that would allow you more time to talk to each other.

We did have a great night ; ) And I love the color of my hair! Woot!

After taking in the stunning view of Mount Sorak, we travelled for several hours before reaching Applease Korea Brewery Co. Ltd.- an apple wine making factory.

The factory was closed because it's Christmas day but we were still able to see the machines used in making apple wine.

An employee took our photos to stick to our own wine bottle. Then we were ushered inside the factory in another building where a huge collection of jars filled with apple wine were stored.

We put our empty bottles of wine under one of the "faucet". Each of us collected and filled our bottles with wine.

There was not much explanation during the tour. After getting our apple wine bottles, we went back to the first building where our photo was taken.

There were several rooms on the second floor where we were asked who in our group knew how to cook. As usual, DH volunteered myself. The other guy was part of our tour group.

I had a sip of the apple wine. The alcohol at 11% proved to be too much for me. The pomegranate wine tasted better but I never liked the taste of alcoholic drink ; p

We brought two Canon cameras (IXUS 860IS & 350D) for our Korea trip. DH even got his tripod packed together with his clothes. You can just imagine how many luggage that we brought with us lol Anyway, what's my point?! I think the stunning view that we captured with our cameras speaks for itself! The agony of bringing 5 luggage is well worth it!

DH & I were at Mt. Sorak on Christmas day. The view is breathtaking! Can I just say that it is picture perfect too?

Unfortunately, the gondola ride going up to Mount Sorak is not in service that day due to strong wind.

However, our tour group was able to cover the grounds of Shinheungsa Temple. The Bronze Buddha is located near the entrance of the temple. Tongil Daebul represents Korean's wish- reunification of one country that has been divided for over half a century.

On our second night, DH and I were popping pills to battle our colds and muscle pain from skiing. One of the important things that travelers should bring is a medicine kit. Once when we were in San Francisco, DH suffered allergy from eating crabs. We were walking along the deserted part of Chinatown looking for a 24 hours pharmacy at 2 a.m. After that incident, I see to it that I never run out of Claritin in my kit again.

After enjoying the whole afternoon skiing, we boarded the bus to our next destination, Mt Sorak. It was around 5pm when we arrived at our hotel. After checking in, we went straight to our room to prepare for the Christmas Eve Gala Dinner.

Our room came as a surprise! It has a small anteroom where the toilet is located. A sliding door separates the bedroom from it. It has heated floor, a small TV, a personal refrigerator and best of all free WIFI/ LAN connection.

After enjoying the whole afternoon skiing, we boarded the bus to our next destination, Mt Sorak. We took off our shoes before entering our bedroom.

I guess this is how a traditional Korean room looks like. There's an ashtray on the table so I think this is a smoking room. Good thing, I didn't smell a hint of cigarette smoke or else I would have requested for a change of room.

Angela invited me to try out a fairly new salon in Kapitolyo, Pasig, Flirt Waxing Lounge. Hey, don't be fooled by its name because it not only offers waxing but a whole lot more like my gradient nail art for example!

The owner let us pick whatever design that we wanted and I was dead set on giving gradient nails a try! Using nail polish with glitters or whatever you call those dusts as base coat can make your nail polish lasts longer. It actually strengthens the nails and protects it from chipping.

Under Hand Care menu, I chose to avail of Manicure Spa (PhP380). Scrub, lotion and whitening cream (from right to left) were applied on my hands as shown below.

Jelai of Flirt Waxing Lounge did a great job of massaging my tired and sore feet

Under Foot Care menu, I tried Foot Massage (30 mins). The service is PhP150.

I am quite impressed with Flirt Waxing Lounge's resident nail artist. She worked on our manicure and pedicure without sweat. I forgot her name but maybe you can recognize her with the photo provided above when you visit the salon.

If you are hungry, order a sardines sandwich. And yes, they have popcorn and milkshakes too!

If you are in Kapitolyo, Pasig area, you might want to chek out Flirt Waxing Lounge. After breakfast, our tour group wasted no time and went skiing. I must admit seeing the slope kind of scared me. Little did I know that first timers are not even allowed in the beginner's slope. You have to have an instructor with you. Our 72 year old guide taught us how to put on the ski but we were on our own after that.

I am glad that DH knew the basics of skiing. He was the one who taught me how to position my legs and bend my knees. I don't know what I would do without him ; p

Lockers are coin- operated. The multi- level building has toilets, changing rooms and fast food area in the ground floor.

I was not able to zip up my jacket because I rented the wrong size. I was not able to take into consideration the bubble jacket I was wearing inside.

DH was missing at one point and I was worried sick. He went to the forbidden slope in Athena to test his board. He was grinning from ear to ear when I finally found him.

I have done so many things that I did not know I am capable of doing like spelunking in Sagada and now skiing. DH is always encouraging me to be more adventurous in life. Next, bungee jump! Nah, I am not crazy enough to do it. But who knows, right?

White Christmas in High1 Resort Korea

The photo below was taken behind the window inside our hotel- High1 Resort Korea. Even then I was already in awe at the grandeur of mountain scenery. It was taken around 6pm. The snow partially covered the mountain. I am so excited because this is my first ever white Christmas!!!

I can't wait to see what's in store for us the next day. Our guide gave us the next day's weather forecast- snowy! It's what we wanted because it is perfect for skiing! Woo hoo!

Christmas trees in various sizes were the centerpieces of this hotel. Christmas songs were continuously playing throughout the night. I could hear it even if I was already inside our room.

When I found out that the electrical sockets were different from what we have, I had to make a deposit of W10, 000 for an electric adapter. The deposit was refunded the next day upon returning of the adapter.

In my entire stay in Korea, I just realized that Koreans are so fond of mascots. I even saw a mascot out on the street dancing in the cold winter night.

I was disappointed to see our bed. I am not used to sleeping alone in bed. DH was supposed to rearrange it together side by side but he was too tired. He was already asleep after we unpacked our things. Great first night, huh?

Summer Hair 2012... A New Me!

Last Thursday, DH accompanied me to the salon so I can have my hair cut. I have been sporting long and sexy curls since I started this blog in 2008. I figured what have I got to lose, right? If I didn't like my hair short, I will just have to wait for it to grow back or buy a wig or what they now call "hair extensions" lol

no, I am not suffering from a bad break up ; p

I went back to Bang's Tony & Jackey in Tomas Morato and asked for Anna- senior stylist. She already trimmed my hair before so I know I am in good hands. I noticed the look on her face when I asked her to cut my hair short. I asked her "Round face?" She replied with a resounding "Yes!" She proceeded by inspecting my hair and said "Not too short... long here, shorter here!"

I didn't want to post my hair cut photos until after my family have seen it. My dad was shocked at how short it was. My mom loved it! When my sister saw me last Sunday, she gushed "KC!" In my attempt to copy Jinkee's hair, I ended up having KC's hair lol I failed in the peg department ; p As for me, I am embracing my short hair. I <3 it!

Korean Restaurant in Nami Island & Ski Rental

Our Day 1 on tour includes lunch and dinner only. We spent half a day around Nami Island where we ate an early lunch around 11a.m.

I noticed that most of the restaurants in Korea have no English sign available like this one. I was so excited to try my first authentic Korea feast and I was not disappointed.

Banchan (Korean side dishes)

The small side dishes that completes a Korean meal is called banchan. Sometimes spelled as Panchan, it is served for everyone to share. On our table were bean sprout with sesame oil and kimchi. The other stuff that you see like the garlic, ssamgjang- a wrapping sauce and lettuce are all part of bulgogi that our tour guide ordered for us.

Bulgogi means fire meat because it is cooked over an open flame ; It consists of marinated beef, pork or chicken barbecue

We were very full and satisfied with our tasty lunch! But that did not stop us from eating other food that we saw whenever our bus stops for bathroom break. Below are some of the food we ate.

After our Nami Island tour, we traveled for a few more hours to our ski resort where we stayed overnight. On our way, we rented ski gear and outfit for $50 per person. The guide told us that it was cheaper to rent ski equipment outside the resort. I don't have enough time to ask for the resort's rate because we only have half a day to spend for skiing.

Korean beef stew

For dinner, we ate at a restaurant close to High1 Resort. We had unlimited beef stew this time. Two hot wok with lots of beef and vegetables were set up in front of us. It is best to have hot soup during winter!

I finished 2 small plates of bean curd while DH asked for more seaweed. The next day, we went back to this restaurant for lunch and yes, I had 2 more small plates of bean curd ; p

Korea Chronicle: Day 1

Arrival: 5:05 am (Korea time; Manila time 4:05a.m.)

I was ~~sleepy~~ sleeping the entire flight so I can't give you a comprehensive review about Korean Air. As far as I can remember, when I woke up a few minutes before landing, a stewardess was already by my side asking what meal do I want to eat. The staff were all efficient and worked their way around sleeping passengers like me. It was not a full flight so DH and I were able to transfer to vacant seats. I was all stretched out on all three seats. It's like sleeping first class style lol

Moving on, we booked this tour through a travel agent only a few weeks back before the scheduled departure date. RUSH- that's how DH & I always travel ; p You know that if you have been a follower of this blog. Remember my Taiwan adventure last December 2010? Or our Hong Kong trip last July 2011 where I bought my very first LV? I was not even supposed to be in Korea, DH and I were supposed to go to Canada along with the rest of his family hehe

After meeting up with our Korean tour guide at the Incheon International Airport, we went straight to Nami Island.

Nami Island is named after a controversial personality in Korea, General Nami (1441-1468). It is where his tomb lies. He started his military career at the very young age of 17. At the age of 25, he was officially honored as a Merit Subject and was given the title of Minister of National Defense. Unfortunately King Sejo, General Nami's great patron, died. King Yejong, the new ruler, falsely denounced General Nami as a traitor and was executed together with his mother and his faithful retainers. In 1818, during King Sunjo's reign, his official positions were restored after the revelation that false evidence was used against him. He was give a posthumous name "Chung-mu".

Btw, I am glad to report that I was able to access NAIA 1's wifi before boarding the plane to Korea ; p Pardon the no-sleep-look because I only have 3 hours of sleep when that photo was taken. Only KFC and McDonald's were open at Incheon International Airport. DH grabbed a coffee while I had a hot chocolate from McDonald's.

We booked a 6 day/ 5 night tour for $1388 (per person) + $176 Korean Air tax (per person) via Multi Destinations Inc. Travel & Tours (5268451 to 55). We extended our stay for another 5 day/ 4 night free and easy in Seoul, Korea.

We only have a small group. We travelled with a family of 6 plus the two of us. Including the bus driver and the Korean guide, we were only 10 in a 24 seater bus. I have the entire last row for myself where I slept for the duration of the long trips (3-4 hour bus ride) around Korea. The road was bumpy but I was in la- la land before you can count to 5 ; p

It was a good thing that our guide took us to Nami Island straight from the airport. We boarded the first boat that day. DH and I were able to shoot photographs without too many people in the background. When we were leaving, I saw a lot of tour buses coming in. I would advise that you do the same, come in early around 9 a.m. to capture the beauty of Nami Island without distraction.

That's just half day of Day 1 in Korea, 9 days more to go!

J.CO Donuts & Coffee opens in SM Megamall!

I got 3 dozens of freshly baked donuts right at my doorstep last December 20 from an Indonesian brand called J.CO Donuts & Coffee! woot!

J.CO was founded in 2005 by Johnny Adrean. After opening its first store in Jakarta, it has now over 100 outlets in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China and The Philippines.

I gave a box to my mom because I love sharing the J.CO way! Watch out for the opening of J.Co Donuts & Coffee in Greenbelt and Mall of Asia too!

Winter in Korea Travel Essentials

Your Korean visa was already approved! What to do next? Shopping, of course! Traveling to Korea in December means it's winter season over there. Good thing, DH is used to winter season having lived in Canada for several years. He knows what to bring e.g. travel essentials. We shopped a few days before we left for Korea.

I want to share with you the items that saved my dear life from the winter cold. Think negative 15 degree celsius!

Note that some of the items pictured here were bought in Korea. Nothing beats Korean products, it's inexpensive and stylish! I <3!

DH shopped for his bonnet in Bench. I bought a bonnet and a hat in Korea for PhP1, 040 (W26, 000). The earmuffs, I got it for only PhP400 (W10, 000).

You can never have too many jackets when you are in Korea during winter time. In one instance, I got really cold while walking out from a mall that I used the newly bought jacket of DH and put it over my own jacket. I removed the tag, of course! DH said I looked like a homeless person but at that moment I don't care about fashion anymore ; p

Nivea & Carmex lip balm

I wrote in my previous entry that I will be bringing Nivea Natural Volume with me on my trip and that's what I did. I also brought an extra Carmex lip balm just in case. DH suffered from a terrible chapped lips when we went skiing on our second day. I gave him Carmex and it was all good ; ) Carmex delivers!

DH got his scarf (in stripes) from Marks & Spencers while I got mine in Korea. I paid PhP400 (W10, 000) for the Beige scarf and Maroon scarf for PhP520 (W13, 000).

DH got his pair of gloves from Marks & Spencers. The pair of socks was from Burlington, if I remember it right.

With everything on hand, let's talk about saving suitcase space.

I pack our suitcases every time and I roll every single clothes to save space. I forgot to take a photo prior to our flight to Korea so the photo above is a suitcase full of used clothing---> explains why the clothes were rolled wrong side up so I know which ones have not been used ; p

we always bring with us a back up suitcase just in case we shop too much lol

DH's idea- fit one smaller suitcase in a larger one just in case we needed a back up. For this recent trip, we didn't need one because we I purchased only small items *makeup* that can easily fit inside the rolled clothing. I was not able to shop for clothes ; ( My last minute shopping was just a pair of shoes and you guess it right, more makeup ; p

Thanks to these travel essentials, I survived winter in Korea! Now that you have read this, you can survive it too!

The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Reed Diffuser

I got this reed diffuser from The Body Shop last Christmas. Since I was not home during the holidays, I totally forgot about it. While rummaging through my stuff and looking for a space inside my cabinet to fill it with my recent Korean beauty haul, I saw this huge rectangular box. What better way to make a space than to get the box out of the cabinet and use it, right?

What's inside?

The box contains:

10 pieces natural rattan reeds
a recycled glass bottle

Step 1: remove the seal then pop out the cork

Step 2: Remove the tape that holds the reeds then place it inside the glass bottle

Step 3: Place it in a small area like receiving area or powder room

Ideally, The Body Shop's Reed Diffuser should be placed in a small area. I placed mine in my bathroom. I love the vanilla scent every time I entered the room. Be sure to place it where no children can reach it or adults can bump into it.

An-yŏng-ha-se-yo! I just got back from Korea last January 1st. That explains my lack of posts lol Anyway, this is just the first in a series of Korean entries.

Hold your breath because after my Red Wine hair craze, I decided to dye my hair yet again with... The Face Shop Stylist Silky Hair Color Cream in Orange Brown!

You must think I am crazy, right?! Well, I am not ; p I just want to experiment with different hair colors. So, on my 8th day in Korea, I finally succumbed and turned myself into a Korean! Ok, not really, it's just my hair color ; p But you get my point, right? lol

When I bought this box, I asked the sales person why there was no conditioner included. I found out soon enough that this is unlike any other hair color that I have used in the past.

Read on...

Step 1: Squeeze the entire content of tube #1 into bottle #2 provided

do not mix just yet until you completely emptied the tube

Step 2: Give it a shake until the entire bottle content turns orange

Step 3: Unscrew bottle cap

Step 4: Part and section your hair preferably start at the bottom then work your way to the top

Step 5: Squeeze a generous amount of creamy mixture on each section of your hair

Step 5: Comb the mixture through your hair

Since I can't see the back of my hair, I needed help. This is the moment when having DH always by my side becomes handy lol With his helping hand, the result is even hair color!

By the way, you need to apply the cream as fast as you can because the hair tends to clump and becomes unmanageable *hard to comb* at one point.

Step 6: Wait for 30 minutes

Step 7: Since no other product was provided, I used the hotel shampoo and conditioner

I am happy that once my hair was shampooed and conditioned, it was silky soft! Methinks that's why The Face Shop did not include a special conditioner in the box.

Warning: For the first two to three days, my hair bled ORANGE! I read somewhere that bathing with hot/ warm water is the culprit. So far, I love my new hair color. My next agenda is to have my hair cut.... short!

Casa Roces is an ancestral house-turned-restaurant by the Roces clan. It is operated by The Cravings Group and is situated near Malacañan Palace.

Our friend, JSY, suggested this restaurant and I immediately said yes. I was hoping for a very satisfying dinner with good friends.

Traveling from Quezon City to Manila was a breeze. DH and I were ahead of everyone else. Most of our friends were late because of the horrible holiday traffic. Anyway, we ordered our drinks and a salad while waiting for the others to arrive.

Photo shown was my order- over baked salmon welling. Mashed potato and a few pieces of asparagus were included in my order as side dishes. It was like eating a pie. It was already sliced into half, it's perfect if you are sharing this with a friend.

I ordered a traditional Filipino drink called sago't gulaman but I could not finish it because it was to sweet. I think I mixed the drink with more or less half a glass of water. Dalandan juice was DH's order.

As if DH could not get enough of lengua, he ordered it as his main entree. I balked when I saw his plate. The lengua really looked and shaped like a tongue.... waaaah! I didn't know how DH could have eaten it.

For first timers, do not expect much from this restaurant like I did. The menu was limited. Price wise, prepare at least PhP500 per person if you want a juice and dessert to go with your meal. The food was ok but nothing special but I would still recommend it for you to try at least once even just for the ambiance. In fact, my friend who booked this restaurant went back several times already. The waiters were all attentive and efficient. I say, why not give it a try?!

I finally found my size after searching several R.A.F. stores for the tube top. It pays to be patient hahaha I bought the teal cardigan a few days before this scheduled shoot. The color combination is great! I can now wear tube tops provided I have a cardigan over it ; p

The sizes in R.A.F. varies though. I am a size 03 in the tube top but a size 01 in the cardigan. But the heck with sizes, what's important is that the clothes fit me well.

I bought this brogue boots from Taiwan. I love the fashion sense of the Taiwanese. I can't wait to shop for more boots when I go back.

I was not able to get a decent photo with Chef Claude Tayag even after two takes when I went to Bale Dutung for the first time. I vowed to go back to have another photo taken with him and this was the chance... finally!

I am really glad I was able to bring my family to Bale Dutung. They enjoyed the experience. In my mom's own words "Ka level ko na si Kris Aquino!" Kris Aquino, a local TV show host, featured a story about Bale Dutung ; p
