The Ms.O.Lei-ny main store is moving to the same parcel in Dunbeath where Mer Betta is now, except Ms.O.Lei-ny and Ancient Visions would be in a mirrored pyramid up at 1200 meters.

It's still very sparse. I didn't put out the less popular products.

But, the good news is that I've upgraded the "Etched in Stone" so that it now has a HUD that will allow you to change the beads and even the stones. I will give current owners a chance to upgrade for the difference in price, but only for a limited time. ETA: Sometime in May or maybe even sooner. When it's ready, I'll send out notices to the groups and to individuals.

Disruption on XStreet

My apologies if you tried to search for the Ms.O.Lei-ny "Etched in Stone" jewelry sets on XStreet.com earlier today and didn't find them.

I received twenty trademark violation reports today (both for Mer Betta and Ms.O.Lei-ny) and LL deactivated those listings without specifying which terms or phrases or images were trademark violations.

The listings are active again. LL is currently investigating to determine if those reports were generated by a bug in the system. If it's not a bug, then it might be an act of griefing/harassment.

Etched in Stone - a new jewelry line

Some ideas take a long time before they become manifest. This new line of jewelry sets is one such idea.

If you want to say "I love you" without the distracting bling (*wink*), "Etched in Stone" says it simply and elegantly.

It comes in different languages:

Braille "i love you" (I know, I know. It's technically not a language. :D )

Catalan "t'estimo"
Cherokee/Tsalagi "tsi ge yu i" (in Cherokee characters)

There is also an SL Mermish version ("to nulma em") which I am giving away at the WedEx'09 expo here until May 10. It will be available again after I open the new Mer Betta main store. The Mermish version is Copy only, while the others are Transfer only.

The male version includes a necklace and a bracelet. The female version includes a necklace, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings.

I can do custom messages/names with this product line for a small fee. If it's "i love you" in another language or if it's a generic phrase that others would be interested in, you just pay the regular price for a set.

Because Linden Lab announced that they have acquired both XStreet (SLX) and OnRez and that they will be closing down OnRez, I've taken my products offline in OnRez.

The same products are still available in XStreet and inworld.

Teddy with Kanji in belly

This is the first product I've released under the Ms.O.Lei-ny brand. It's a teddy bear with all the bells and whistles. I've looked around and this seems to be the bear with the most features out there.

I'm using sculpted prims and a single script so it's low-lag.

The limbs of the bear are in different positions, depending on the attachment point.

And it performs different things, depending on which part you touch:
- Touch the BELLY to change the embroidery to one of nine kanji characters: Love, Peace, Friend, Happiness, Spirit, Heaven, Hope, Beauty, Dream. (Owner only.)
- Touch the SCARF to change the texture. (Owner only.)
- Touch an EAR to play a randomly selected sound, if available.
- Touch an ARM to get objects, notecards, and landmarks in the inventory, if available. (Owner only.)
- Touch a LEG to send a poof of randomly selected leaf particles to the toucher.

If you add textures to the inventory, those textures will be added to the selection for the scarf.

If you add sounds to the inventory, those sounds would be included in the list from which one is randomly played when an ear is touched.

If you add objects, notecards, and/or landmarks, the owner gets those when an arm is touched.

The bear is available with COPY permissions or with TRANSFER permissions. Both versions have modify permissions, of course. You can find the bear at the Ms.O.Lei-ny main store, in SLExchange, and in OnRez.

I finally found a cheaper alternative to Subscribe-o-matic -- hippoGROUPS. Ironically, I found out about it from a spam notecard.

So, now there are three ways to subscribe to Ms.O.Lei-ny notices:
1. Subscribe to this blog via RSS (see the link on the right-side panel.
2. Join the SL group if you have room in your groups.
3. Go to the Ms.O.Lei-ny main store and click on the red Subscribe sign.

#2 and #3 allows you to go back to old messages and retrieve attachments.

No, no, I'm not for sale. This brand will be for miscellaneous (get it?) products that I make that don't fit into either Mer Betta or Ancient Visions. For instance, I've been working on some products that would be useful for models, since I need them.

Anyway, the Ms.O.Lei-ny main store is in the same area as the main stores for Mer Betta and Ancient Visions, but on the ground. Teleporters are on my to-do list.

And as I write this, I only have one product. LOL. It's the Runway Model Training. It rezzes two targets with your name on them and randomly positions them within the area you specify. Then you try to walk towards one of the targets. If you get there successfully, it sends particles to the next target. After you leave it, it moves to a new random position. If you overshoot it, it'll go to a new position anyway and you don't get much of the particles that guide you to your next target. So the goal is to pause on the target. We're aiming for accurate stops. Multiple people can rez their own targets but you can only trigger the targets with your name on them. It'll be interesting to see how confusing it gets with several people in the same area.

This item is not on SLX or OnRez yet. I'll put them up after I have several items available.
