Blogs are another kind of website. The content is usually organized by date and category with the most recent post/content displaying first. Blogs are also easier to setup than websites, and because of this reason people are often lured into thinking blogs are a better option than websites.

Another thing you should know is that blogs can be somewhat limiting compared to a website (in terms of design and data manipulation) until you learn more about how blogs are coded. However, if you use WordPress or Blog.com, you’ll have the flexibility to do so much with your blog’s content and layout.

Blog or Website? Can’t Decide?

A lot of people get confused and wonder if they should create a blog, website or both? It comes down to cost, if you want to spend the money or you have the know how then yes set up a website, but if like I was starting on a budget then a Blog is the way to go.

WordPress? Blog.com? Blogger? Which is Best?

I have found these three to be the most popular blogging platforms. .

I started with Blogger which is a good place to start if this is your first blog, but as your get more into a business mode then I found that Blog.com and WordPress provided a lot more flexibility and looked more professional.

Blogger is great because it’s super easy to use. However, WordPress and Blog.com has a lot more features and plug-ins that will allow you to enhance your blog. And even though setting up a Blog.com and WordPress blog is slightly more involved, it’s well worth it in the long run.

In Conclusion…

Whether you plan to create a stand-alone blog or use it to compliment your existing Web site, they can be a great asset to your online business.

Some of the keys to success include…

Blog with a purpose

Just like a website, a blog should have a focus and target audience. Don’t just blog to sell products. Give your audience useful information that will entice them to subscribe. Blogs with too many ads and no useful content are a turn-off.

Keep it relevant

Remember, people want to know what’s in it for them, so your blog’s info should be relevant to your audience’s needs and desires.

Blog often when you have good info to share

More is not better when you are putting out junk or recycled material. One of the top reasons people unsubscribe to blogs is lack of originality or the “heard it all before” syndrome.

Add personality

Display a photo. Let your audience know there’s a human behind the words. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

If you are serious about building a profile on the net you will need a good blog about something you are interested in: Blog example

Once you have your blog you need other to be able to find you, Share your place on the net by entering your blog on a number of sites that have blog lists, as its no good having the best blog on the net if no-one can find you!

I’m so glad we are now connected. We have just completed the first decade of successfully marketing and selling products and services on the net along with new and powerful ways to connect directly with prospects and customers.

Your experiences, both the good and bad, since you have engaged in any of these functions on the internet and they may or may not have given you the desired results you sought out. For many, that was enough to ‘quit’, to ‘give up’ – but you are back, you continue, to developed new knowledge, new skills and new experiences.

Over the coming weeks and months, I am going to share with you insights, ideas, inspiration and information that’ll help you set up, run and grow your portfolio of web businesses. I want you to know I am really very excited about this opportunity that you have given me to help and empower you to transform your life too, using the true power of the internet.

The first point I would like to make is please take the time to look at the opportunities that we will put forward over time, to see them as part of a portfolio you are building for your future security. Discover that you don’t need a lot of cash to get started and as you do make money on the net you can then invest in your own web site.

I know and appreciate how overwhelming it is when you start something new, especially as an adult returning to education and if you’re like me, also a little frightened of the technology. Well let me assure you, those feelings will pass and that excitement and enthusiasm you feel will come out more and more to your fore-front, in fact I encourage it – this is your time … your time to * SHINE * … let it be

You need to know about something I’ve been really getting into lately and I wanted to send it your way. I was recently told about a new nutritional supplement called RevUp31 and it sounded so good I actually bought it (then discovered the opportunities, more about that later).

RevUp31 contains an antioxidant called Resveratrol that comes from the skin of red grapes. The benefits of Resveratrol have been associated with increasing your life-span, anti-aging, weight loss, lowering cholesterol, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, high blood pressure, combating an unhealthy diet, and the list goes on.

Discover the site where I bought it and watch some interesting videos about Resveratrol. They’ve got interviews with the guys who discovered it, interviews on 60 Minutes, and a bunch of other ones.
The main idea about Resveratrol is that it activates gene #31 in our bodies which is termed the “longevity gene”. They say this gene is typically inactive in our bodies, but studies show that numerous benefits have resulted from people who for some reason or another, have a more active gene 31 than the rest of us.

There’s lots of ways that this gene 31 can become activated, and when I read that the Resveratrol in RevUp31 was one of them I bought it.

Now I bought it I was looking around their web site and realized there’s a bit more to it than I thought. If you want to, they will actually pay you commissions for giving away Special Offers of RevUp31. It’s their way of spreading the word and getting their product out there faster.

Yes it’s totally optional free business site and it doesn’t cost anything. They just give you a free site that’s 100% yours and you can start handing it out to people. I’ve actually been doing it myself and so far, so good.

The company I bought the RevUp31 supplement from is also called RevUp31. My website link that I’ve been showing to a lot of people is below:

Guarantee for an entire 30 days, so you have no worries when you decide to try RevUp3. If you don’t like it just return it for a full refund!

Come on in and check it out, then click on opportunity at the top of page to see if its right for you!!

Please let me know what you think.

Cheers Jean
