Bangalore:  Bringing much relief from the city's road traffic, the much-awaited Bangalore Metro will be flagged off shortly. Metro opens to public after 3 pm today.

Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath and Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi will flag off the first train. Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda will be present at the inaugural function.
