I have 2 questions:</p>
<p>1. what is the difference between common stocks and preferred stocks?</p>
<p>2. If you were to start a business of your own, would you organize it as a sole proprietorship, a partnership, a corporation, or a nonprofit organization and why?</p>
<p><strong>Best answer:</strong></p>
<p><i>Answer by teehee</i><br/>1. Preferred stocks get priority if the company is liquidated. For other differences &#8212; do a search online!<br />
2. The structure of a business would depend on what the business is doing. While the first three can apply to almost anything, something that&#8217;s a non-profit is not likely to be in the same line of business as a for-profit. The different types generally provide different (if any) legal protection. Do a search!</p>

I was in the States as an international student. Since i have completed my studies i have come back to my home country. What i want to ask is, can i still invest in Bonds, Equity, CD&#8217;s, etc&#8230;through my bank a/c, which is active. I will not be investing more than $  5000. I do have a Social Security Numer and a active checking a/c(which i had opened up while my stay over there), and now even plan on opening up a savings a/c with the same bank. Would i be able to do that(invest) without any problems? Like from immigration office or the govt.  Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.</p>

<p>The revenue at home might have a problem, ? not the U.S.<br />
etc.</p>
<p>Also &#8211; their is a possible currency risk or loss ?? etc.</p>
<p>Savings Account, Funds, ETFs are another idea. ok</p>

                For the first time since late January, Best-Execution Mortgages Rates moved back to 4.0%. Over the past month, the rate averaged 3.875% despite plenty of fluctuations in terms of closing costs. Friday&#8217;s weakness brought the average of the lenders we survey as close to the 4.0% mark and today&#8217;s weakness in the bond markets resulted in more lenders offering 4.0% as a best-execution rate, although 3.875% remains at a few of the more aggressively-priced lenders.
