A foreign language teacher was explaining to her class that, unlike their English counterparts, French nouns are grammatically designated as masculine or feminine.

Things like 'chalk' or 'pencil,' she described, would have a gender association although in English these words were neutral. Confused, one student raised his hand and asked, "What gender is a computer?"

The French teacher wasn't sure which gender it was, so she divided the class into two groups and asked them to decide if a computer should be masculine or feminine. One group was comprised of the women in the class, and the other of men. Both groups were asked to give four reasons for their recommendation.

The group of women concluded that computers should be referred to in masculine gender because:
1. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
2. They have a lot of data but are still clueless.
3. They are supposed to help you solve your problems, but half the time they ARE the problem.
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have had a better model.

The men, on the other hand, decided that computers should definitely be referred to in the feminine gender because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic.
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
3. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your pay check on accessories.

Father: "Well, let's take our home for an example. I am the
wage earner, so let's call me Capitalism. your mother is
the administrator of money, so we'll call
her Government. We take care of your needs, so let's
call you The People. We'll call the Maid The Working
Class and your brother we can call The Future. Do you
understand son?"
Son: "I'm not really sure, dad. I'll have to think about it."
That night awakened by his brother's crying, the boy went to see what was wrong. Discovering that the baby had seriously soiled his nappy, the boy went to his parents' room and found his mother sound asleep.
He went to the maid's room, where, peeking through the keyhole, he saw his father in bed with the maid. The boy's knocking went totally unheeded by his father and the maid, so the boy returned to his room and went back to sleep.
The next morning he reported to his father.
Son: "Dad, now I think I understand what politics is."
Father: "Good son! Can you explain it to me in your own
words?"
Son: "Well Dad, while Capitalism is screwing the Working
Class, Government is sound asleep, the People are
being completely ignored and the Future is full of
shit."

It is the end of what some people may call ‘a terrible 2009’, ‘a tragic 2009’ or ‘an awesome 2009’. What about the saying that goes “The end justifies the means” doesn’t count for something, or is it a saying probably said by a person without something else in mind to say. I was watching Beverly Hills 90210 last night, and I seemed to agree that something’s are determined by how they work out in the end. For example there is this chiq(Annie), she has a really bad time, getting along with all her friends who act ‘so good’ but in the end the only people she has around are FAMILY.

This year there was these two dudes, Dixon* and Marto* (* Name on ice). So Dixon was this cool dude who knew Mtaa, had all the vybes got the chiqs, honestly Marto was this other quite guy, who lived in his own bubble of small time Hi’s by the chiqs didn’t know a lot about Mtaa so he was impressed. First Marto approached with this honest geasture, “Niaje! Naona unapenda movie sana. Manze nimeboeka kejani si unihelp na movie moja ntakuletea kesho”. Marto being insecure with a stranger, “Manze siwezi kukupatia movie nimerent na hata sikujui”. Then Dixon shows how old he is (pretty embarrassing to say) “Nitakuachia ID card yangu, nitakujia nikirudisha movie.” Then they make the exchange get to know each other after a while start having lunch at Dixons place since it was near town (at no extra costs). So the borrowing goes from movies to other CDs, music players, amplifiers, speakers, money, memory cards and hanging out all day long. As all good stories end the good guy always gets the blow. Now Marto tells me it the end of the year and he is mending his fences. Forget about them it will always be the past, the most important this is to learn from your mistakes and do them better again!!!!! (Forget I said that). Self search and find your centrifuge or whatever they call it.

RELATIONSHIPS

Some people are too shy to talk about their relationships or personal feelings and they end up destroying themselves, and I speak this from personal experience. It doesn’t matter that I have a long way to go in order to completely understand about them but for now I know that any relationship is like a bridge. One person has to build one half of it and the other builds the other half so that they meet in the middle. Two people have to make the effort in order to make any relationship work, simple and clear.
