Pagi saya di Rumah Amalia kedatangan tamu, seorang perempuan muda yang bekerja di perusahaan swasta di Sudirman. Beliau bertutur, 'Mas Agus, saya sangat malas untuk pergi kerja seperti biasanya. Hp di silent mode, karena tidak ingin terganggu apapun. saya sedang dirundung kebingungan karena telah menggunakan uang kantor, dan atasan saya menanyakan uang tersebut. ampun saya merasa gelap, dan akhirnya saya tidak masuk kerja. seharian saya kebingungan di rumah. saya tidak tahu harus berbuat apa.' ucapnya dengan wajah nampak penuh masalah.

Saya mengusulkan kepada beliau agar sholat tahajud sesampai di rumah, 'Memohonlah kepada Alloh SWT, agar diberikan petunjuk.' Selepas adzan Isya' beliau izin pamit untuk pulang. Saya mempersilahkan untuk meminum tehnya terlebih dahulu. Terlihat wajahnya penuh keraguan, 'Bagaimana mungkin masalah saya bisa diselesaikan dengan sholat tahajud?' itu pertanyaan yang dilontarkan sebelum meninggalkan saya. Sayapun tersenyum mendengar pertanyaan itu. 'Yakinlah, Alloh SWT akan membantu anda,'

Beberapa hari kemudian, perempuan muda itu datang lagi ke Rumah Amalia, beliau bertutur, 'setelah pulang dari Rumah Amalia, di tengah malam saya putuskan untuk mengadu pada penguasa alam ini, saya tundukkan,sujudkan kening serendah-rendahnya untuk mengharap ridho Alloh SWT. 'tuturnya.

'Saya pasrahkan segalanya pada penguasa kerajaan langit dan bumi ini, saya curhat kepada Sang Khaliq. Saya pasrah berangkat kerja dengan bulat tekad saya akan katakan sesungguhnya, dibenak saya saat itu saya akan dipecat tapi saya pasrah.' lanjutnya, terlihat wajahnya memerah.

'Tapi apa yang terjadi Mas Agus? Subhanallah atasan saya hanya terdiam ketika mendengar pengakuan saya dan akirnya beliau langsung memberikan solusi tanpa harus memecat saya dari pekerjaan. Sungguh luar biasa indahnya Sholat Tahajud!' tuturnya dengan senyuman. Sore itu telah menjadi sebuah kesaksian betapa indahnya sholat tahajud sebagai solusi hidup, 'Menyelesaikan masalah, tanpa masalah.'

Keajaiban Sholat Tepat Waktu

Ada seorang teman bertutur, 'Saya bekerja di Daan mogot Jakarta, sementara istri dan anak masih tinggal bersama mertua di Cikampek, dan pulang ke Cikampek setiap malam Jumat dan hari Sabtu. Tgl. 31 Jan 2008, malam jumat seperti biasanya saya pulang ke cikampek, pas kebetulan waktu itu habis gajian jadi sekalian saya beli susu buat anak. Saya menyegerakan sholat maghrib.

Setelah sholat maghrib saya pulang naik bis mayasari jurusan jati bening, didalam bis saya berpikir nanti sholat isya di jati bening ato sampe dirumah. namun akhirnya saya mantap sholat isya di jati bening, alhamdulillah setelah selesai sholat saya langsung dapat bis Kramat jati yang kebetulan agak kosong arah purwakarta keluar tol cikopo, yang biasanya saya kalau menunggu bis paling tidak 30 menit baru dapat.

Saya duduk sendirian dan tas yang berisi susu, berkas kantor dan hp saya taruh di bangku sebelah saya, sementara jok belakang saya ada 5 penumpang lainnya yang sama duduk sendirian di setiap bangkunya. karena kecapean saya tertidur di bis. Sampe di Cikopo, saya bangun dan langsung turun tanpa membawa tas dan langsung naik angkot jurusan Cikampek, namun setelah angkot jalan kurang lebih 20 meter saya baru sadar klu tas ketinggalan di bis.

Akhirnya saya turun dan naik angkot jurusan purwakarta untuk mengejar bis tersebut, dalam perjalanan tak henti2nya saya berdzikir dan berdoa, Ya Alloh kalo memang tas dan isinya masih rezeki dan milikku pertemukan dengan bis tersebut, tapi kalo memang bukan hakku lagi, saya ikhlas dan saya sedekahkan bagi yang menemukannya dan semoga menjadi sarana ibadah buat yang menemukan.

Namun alhamdulillah Alloh SWT masih mengabulkan doa saya... setelah hampir sampai terminal Purwakarta, bis tersebut berhenti dan akhirnya tas lengkap dengan isinya kembali ke tangan saya.. Subhanalloh... saya tak henti-hentinya mengucapkan kalimat syukur.. Ya Alloh hanya engkau lah yang maha pengatur semua atas kejadian di muka bumi ini.. semoga cerita ini pelajaran bagi kita semua yang elajar sholat tepat waktu dan rajin bershodaqoh.

Sholat Adalah Kemenangan Bagi Seorang Mukmin

Ada seorang ulama bernama Imam Hanafi mengatakan bahwa sholat adalah kemenangan bagi seorang mukmin. ' Dikisahkan Sultan Mahmud sedang menghadapi pemberontakan di kota Balkh, dipertengahan malam yang diguyur hujan ia bangun dari tidurnya lalu mandi dan mengerjakan sholat. Pengawalnya mengingatkan, 'Yang Mulia, malam ini silahkan anda beristirahat sebab esok hari anda akan bertempur.'

Sultan Mahmud menjawab, 'Malam ini adalah urusan saya, besok urusan Alloh SWT,' Seusai mengerjakan sholat, beliau mengetengadahkan tangannya ke langit seraya bedoa, 'Ya Alloh, berikanlah kemenangan kepada salahsatu diantara kami berdua, demi kemaslahatan bagi hamba-hamba-Mu.' Begitu selesai sholat beliau langsung mengendarai kuda menuju medan laga dan berkat doa serta sholat akhirnya beliau mendapatkan kemenangan.

Dari kisah diatas maka bisa kita ambil pelajaran bahwa sholat dan doa sungguh-sungguh akan dipercepat dikabulkannya sebuah doa. Keputusasaan, keraguan dan was-was seringkali menghalangi terkabulnya sebuah doa. Yakin dengan doa dan sholat kita serta bersungguh-sungguh dalam berusaha itu, Insya Alloh akan terwujud impian kita.

Sholat Tahajud Mempercepat Jodoh

Ada kisah yang dituturkan seorang akhwat pada saya tentang sholat tahajud mempercepat jodoh, untuk mempercepat datangnya jodoh selain dengan berusaha dengan ta'aruf atau saling mengenal upaya meningkatkan ketaqwaan kepada Alloh SWT melalui sholat fardhu lima waktu, sholat sunnah tahajud, sholat dhuha dan juga shodaqoh merupakan upaya mempercepat bertemu dengan jodoh. semoga kisah ini bisa diambil ibrohnya atau hikmahnya bagi kita semua, amin..

Setelah kematian suami pertamaku... begitu sangat terpukulnya hatiku, begitu hancurnya hidupku, aku merasa apa dosaku kenapa cobaan ini terlalu berat untukku, aku merasa ini tidak adil karena aku baru merasakan 1 tahun 4 bulan hidup bersama suamiku.

yang lebih menyakitkan aku baru saja melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki yang selama 7 bulan aku nanti setelah pernikahan kami. tapi baru saja 2 minggu kelahiran anak ku suami ku meninggal kan kami berdua, saat itu aku begitu sedih. sedih yang teramat sangat, tapi aku harus kuat karena aku yakin ini adalah ujian dari Allah untuk aku dan aku percaya Allah maha pengetaui seberapa besar kemampuan ku, dan aku sangat percaya di setiap ujian yang Allah kasih pasti ada hikmahnya Alloh punya rencana lain untukku. kenyakinan ini lah yang membuat aku kuat dan berusaha untuk tidak nangis dan mengeluh kepada siapa pun kecuali kepada Alloh yang maha mengasih lagi maha penyayang. Aku berusaha tegar untuk hidup ku dan hidup anak ku. setelah 40 hari pasca melahirkan aku mulai melaksanakan shalat tahajud kembali. yang lama aku tidak kerjakan karena aku melahirkan.

Dulu aku bekerja tapi setelah kandungan ku berusia 5 bulan aku berhenti. ingin rasanya aku bekerja kembali untuk aku dan anak ku karena aku tidak mau hanya mengharapkan dari keluarga besar ku. Alhamdulilah setelah anak ku berusia 7 bulan aku mulai bekerja di tempat yang baru.

Aku merasa ini jawaban atas doa-doa ku aku ingin mandiri setelah kepergian suamiku.
tapi sekuat apapun diri ku aku merasa pincang tanpa ada suami di sampingku, aku kadang menagis belum lagi omongan orang tentang statusku.

Alloh masih ada ah jodoh untukku.... jodoh yang baik untukku dan untuk anakku, yang dapat menjadi imanku di dunia dan di akherat kelak seorang ayah untuk anakku. karena aku tidak lagi memikirkan diri ku sendiri tetapi juga memikirkan anakku.

Itulah doa yang selalu aku ucapkan di setiap shalat fardu ku dan di setiap tahajudku.
ada 3 pria yang mendekati aku. aku hanya manusia aku terus terang aku masih takut karena pengalaman pertama ku.

Dan hanya pada Alloh lah aku meminta pilihan di antara ke 3 nya. yang mana yang harus aku pilih karena 2 tahun aku coba hidup sendiri ternyata aku tidak kuat untuk mengahapi nya. banyak sekali godaan yang datang kepada ku dan sering kali membuat aku harus menangis.
Yach Alloh pilih kan lah untuk ku di antara 3 pria yang ingin menjadi ayah untuk anak ku.

Mungkin ini kebahagian ku yang datang atas pilih dari Alloh. karena setelah 2 tahun akhirnya jodoh itu datang kembali di mana anak ku sangat dekat pada nya. Aku yakin dengan pilihan ku, akhirnya dia melamar ku beserta keluarga besarnya. jujur aku malu karena status ku aku tidak percaya diri tapi calon ku lah yang membuat semua rasa percaya diri ku tumbuh. dia yang membuat aku semangat lagi untuk menghadapi hidup untuk membentuk keluarga yang di Ridhoi oleh Alloh. karena tujuan kami menikah didasari oleh cinta kami kepada Alloh. Alloh lah yang mempertemukan kami sehingga akhirnya kita menikah.

1 tahun sudah aku hidup bersamanya tidak henti-hentinya aku mengucap kata syukur kepada Alloh dengan hidupku sekarang ini hidup bersama suami tercinta yach baru kemarin kami melewati 1 tahun pernikahan kami.

belum pernah ada pertengkaran yang berarti untuk kami karena kejujuran, komunikasi dan saling pengertian yang menjadi komitmen kami. dan yang terpenting kita slalu mengusaha untuk shalat berjamaah bila ada dirumah magrib, isya dan subuh

Dan sekarang aku begitu yakin Kalao Alloh telah menyiapkan yang lain untuk ku, setelah dia ambil suami ku lalu di kasih aku lagi yang lebih baik aku rasa kan. Aku yakin Ini semua adalah jawaban atas tahajudku.

Disaat kita 1 langkah mendekati Alloh SWT, Alloh SWT, 5 langkah mendekati kita, dan jika ujian itu datang yakinlah karena Alloh begitu sayang pada kita.karena setelah itu pasti ada nikmat yang luar biasa yang Alloh sudah siapakan untuk kita.

Kisah Nenek Pemungut Daun

Dahulu di sebuah kota di Madura, ada seorang nenek tua penjual bunga cempaka. Ia menjual bunganya di pasar, setelah berjalan kaki cukup jauh. Usai jualan, ia pergi ke masjid Agung di kota itu. Ia berwudhu, masuk masjid, dan melakukan salat Zhuhur. Setelah membaca wirid sekedarnya, ia keluar masjid dan membungkuk-bungkuk di halaman masjid.

Ia mengumpulkan dedaunan yang berceceran di halaman masjid. Selembar demi selembar dikaisnya. Tidak satu lembar pun ia lewatkan. Tentu saja agak lama ia membersihkan halaman masjid dengan cara itu. Padahal matahari Madura di siang hari sungguh menyengat. Keringatnya membasahi seluruh tubuhnya.

Banyak pengunjung masjid jatuh iba kepadanya. Pada suatu hari Takmir masjid memutuskan untuk membersihkan dedaunan itu sebelum perempuan tua itu datang.

Pada hari itu, ia datang dan langsung masuk masjid. Usai salat, ketika ia ingin melakukan pekerjaan rutinnya, ia terkejut. Tidak ada satu pun daun terserak di situ. Ia kembali lagi ke masjid dan menangis dengan keras. Ia mempertanyakan mengapa daun-daun itu sudah disapu sebelum kedatangannya. Orang-orang menjelaskan bahwa mereka kasihan kepadanya. “Jika kalian kasihan kepadaku,” kata nenek itu, “Berikan kesempatan kepadaku untuk membersihkannya.” Singkat cerita, nenek itu dibiarkan mengumpulkan dedaunan itu seperti biasa. Seorang kiai terhormat diminta untuk menanyakan kepada perempuan itu mengapa ia begitu bersemangat membersihkan dedaunan itu. Perempuan tua itu mau menjelaskan sebabnya dengan dua syarat: pertama, hanya Kiai yang mendengarkan rahasianya; kedua, rahasia itu tidak boleh disebarkan ketika ia masih hidup. Sekarang ia sudah meniggal dunia, dan Anda dapat mendengarkan rahasia itu.

“Saya ini perempuan bodoh, pak Kiai,” tuturnya. “Saya tahu amal-amal saya yang kecil itu mungkin juga tidak benar saya jalankan. Saya tidak mungkin selamat pada hari akhirat tanpa syafaat Kanjeng Nabi Muhammad. Setiap kali saya mengambil selembar daun, saya ucapkan satu salawat kepada Rasulullah. Kelak jika saya mati, saya ingin Kanjeng Nabi menjemput saya. Biarlah semua daun itu bersaksi bahwa saya membacakan salawat kepadanya.“

Kisah ini saya dengar dari Kiai Madura yang bernama Zawawi Imran, membuat bulu kuduk saya merinding. Perempuan tua dari kampung itu bukan saja mengungkapkan cinta Rasul dalam bentuknya yang tulus. Ia juga menunjukkan kerendahan hati, kehinaan diri, dan keterbatasan amal dihadapan Allah swt. Lebih dari itu, ia juga memiliki kesadaran spiritual yang luhur. (kisah ini dituturkan oleh Kang Jalal)

Ki Manteb Mandapatkan Hidayah Dari Sang Buah Hati

Sang anak tak henti-hentinya mengajak dia untuk mengerjakan shalat.

Anak adalah anugerah Allah yang tak terhingga. Ia bagaikan permata dalam sebuah keluarga. Menghadirkan kesenangan dan kebahagiaan di kala susah. Dan menjadi penghibur di saat sedih. Karena itu, tak lengkap bila kebahagiaan yang dirasakan tanpa kehadiran seorang anak dalam keluarganya.

Sebagai seorang anak, sudah semestinya untuk menaati segala yang diperintahkan kedua orang tuanya, selama perintah itu tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Lalu, bagaimana bila anak tak mau menuruti kehendak orang tuanya, sementara orang tuanya masih belum menjalankan kewajibannya sebagai seorang Muslim? Berdosakah ia (anak itu)?

Mungkin, pertanyaan itu layak diajukan pada dalang kondang, Ki Manteb Sudarsono (60). Bagaimana tidak, bila seharusnya seorang anak berkewajiban untuk taat dan menuruti perintah orang tuanya, ternyata sang anak justru melakukan perlawanan hingga melancarkan aksi mogok.

Dan ternyata, aksi mogok anaknya itu, membuat hati Ki Manteb 'Oye' Sudarsono luluh. Dan ia pun 'harus' menuruti kemauan sang anak. Ia takluk. Padahal, dalam keseharian, sang dalang yang pernah dijuluki sebagai dalang setan ini, terbiasa tegar dan teguh saat memainkan anak wayang adegan perang tanding dalam dunia pakeliran.

Dalang kondang yang piawai dalam bidang olah sabethingga dijuluki dalang setan ini tidak kuasa menghadapi gerilya si buah hati, hingga akhirnya memeluk Islam. Perjuangan panjang ditempuh si bungsu, Danang buah perkawinan dengan Srisuwarni (almarhumah). Ketika itu, si bocah baru duduk di kelas tiga sekolah dasar (SD). Namun, bocah berperawakan mungil itu mampu meluluhkan hati sang bapak yang berhati keras dan temperamental dalam bersikap.

Menurut Ki Manteb, saat itu ia tengah duduk termenung di teras rumah di Desa Doplang, Kecamatan Karangpandan, Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Cuaca gerah lantaran sengatan terik matahari persis di atas ubun-ubun. Ia melihat si anak, Danang, dan bocah sebayanya, tengah berjalan kaki di pematang sawah hendak menjalankan shalat Jumat.

''Wow iya, bocah semono mlaku telung kilometer turut galengan panas-panas neng desa tonggo mung arep shalat Jemuah, (Oh iya, anak segitu jalan kaki tiga kilometer di pematang sawah, panas-panas, ke desa tetangga hanya untuk melaksanakan shalat Jumat),'' batinnya.

Saat itu, keimanan Ki Manteb, masih campur aduk. Islam tidak, Hindu tidak, dan Kristen juga tidak. Melihat anaknya sedang menuju masjid, terenyuh juga hatinya yang keras bagai batu itu. Ia terketuk. Dalam hatinya, ia berkata, Seandainya di dekat rumahnya ada masjid, pasti anaknya tidak lari panas-panas di pematang sawah sambil menggamit kain sarung kalau hanya untuk melaksanakan shalat Jumat.

Menjelang pelaksanaan shalat Jumat, Ki Manteb menghampiri si anak. Ia menyarankan, agar anaknya naik mobil diantar sopir menuju masjid, biar tidak kepanasan. Tak dinyana, sarannya itu ditampik sang anak. Anaknya bersikap acuh. dan mengatakan sesuatu yang sangat menusuk hatinya. ''Mending jalan. Biar jauh jaraknya ke masjid, pasti pahalanya banyak. Saya mau naik mobil, asal bapak juga ikut shalat,'' tegas Danang.

Pernyataan anaknya itu, benar-benar membuatnya harus berpikir keras. Namun, tak sempat ia memberikan jawaban, sang anak sudah pergi. Tinggal dia sendiri sambil termenung. Ia membayangkan sikap anaknya yang atos (keras) seperti sikapnya selama ini. Ia merasa berat melaksanakan shalat. Jangankan shalat Jumat, shalat lima waktu lainnya pun sering ia tinggalkan.

Namun, sikap anaknya yang keras dan mengatakan hanya akan mau naik mobil kalau dia juga shalat, terus membayanginya. Ia lalu berencana untuk membangun masjid di dekat rumahnya. Tak berapa lama kemudian, rencananya itu ia wujudkan dengan membangun masjid. Apalagi, ketika itu kariernya sebagai dalang, juga makin naik pamor. Dan dalam tempo delapan bulan, berdirilah sebuah masjid. Persis di depan rumahnya.

Namun, ketika masjid sudah berdiri, bukannya tambah senang, sebaliknya ia merasa hatinya tambah gundah. Sebab, ia tidak pernah datang ke masjid. Apalagi melakukan shalat di dalamnya. Hampir setiap hari, Ki Manteb jadi bahan ejekan dan olok-olokan rekan seprofesinya. Saban pentas wayang kulit sebulan sekali, Selasa Legen memperingati hari kelahirannya di rumahnya, ia mesti kena sindir. Setiap dalang yang pentas mengkritik. ''Lha iya, sudah bangun masjid megahnya seperti ini, kok belum shalat juga,'' sindir para dalang itu.

Begitu juga dengan sikap Danang. Si kecil ini tak bosan-bosan mengajaknya untuk mendirikan shalat. Bahkan, si bocah yang baru kelas tiga SD itu, meminta bantuan Ki Anom Suroto salah seorang dalang senior agar membujuk bapaknya untuk shalat.

''Pakde,mbok bapak diajak shalat.Wong sudah membangun masjid,kok belum shalat juga,'' rayu Danang pada Ki Anom. Dan, dalang kondang asal Solo itu pun terenyuh dengan permintaan Danang. Ia membujuk Ki Manteb untuk mendirikan shalat.

Keras bagai batu
Berbagai bujukan dan rayuan, baik dari anaknya maupun rekan sesama dalang, tak menggoyahkan hati Ki Manteb untuk mengerjakan shalat. Ia malah makin kukuh pada keyakinannya. Islam tanpa harus shalat. Hatinya mengeras bagai batu karang. Tak runtuh oleh deburan ombak yang keras.

Namun, upaya Danang tak berhenti sampai di situ. Sikap keras ayahnya, ia lawan dengan keras pula. Mogok. Danangemoh pulang dan tinggal di rumah. Ia lebih memilih masjid sebagai sarana untuk mengubah sikap ayahnya.

Hari-harinya dihabiskan di masjid. Berangkat sekolah dari masjid. Pulang sekolah juga ke masjid. Tidak mau pulang ke rumah. Tidur juga di masjid. Kalau tidak dikirim ransum (makanan--red) dari rumah, juga tidak mau makan.

Ibundanya, Srisuwarni, yang mengalah. Setiap hari, sang bunda mengirim bekal makan ke masjid untuk anak tercinta. Melihat hal ini, emosi dalang pengagum sosok Buto Cakil dan 'Ketek' Anoman ini, makin tak keruan. Ia dongkol campur jengkel. Ki Manteb menganggap anak ragil (bungsu), sudah tidak bisa diatur. Batinnya muntab. ''Dasar anak kurang ajar, berani mengatur orang tua,'' batin Ki Manteb.

Hari demi hari, bulan demi bulan, hingga bertahun-tahun, perang urat syaraf antara anak dan bapak ini, tak berhenti juga. Belum ada gencatan senjata atau kata damai di antara keduanya. Perang terus berlanjut, hingga tiga tahun lamanya.

Selama itu pula, Ki Manteb dan anaknyaneng-nengan (diam, tak bertegur sapa) dengan anaknya, Danang. Tidak ada komunikasi ini sejak Danang duduk di kelas tiga hingga kelas enam SD. ''Anak itu saya biarkan selama tiga tahun, dari 1992 sampai 1995,'' ungkap Ki Manteb.

Namun, hidayah Allah SWT, akhirnya mampu membuka hati Ki Manteb yang keras bagai batu itu menjadi lembut. Ketika itu, Desember 1992, istrinya, Srisuwarni, dan kedua anaknya (Danang dan Gatot) hendak melaksanakan umrah. Mereka bertiga, hendak pamit ke Tanah Suci.

Dari sini, mulai muncul kesadaran Ki Manteb. ''Saya ini bekerja cari duit, ya untuk anak istri. Masak, anak istri di Makkah, saya ongkang-ongkang sendirian di rumah,'' ujarnya. '' Keglelengan (kesombongan) saya saat karier menanjak, duit banyak, saat itu runtuh perlahan-lahan. Ini semua karena terpengaruh anak-istri. Maka, saya memutuskan, saya harus ikut umrah juga,'' lanjutnya. Ia mengaku kalah dengan sikap anaknya.

Karena itu, sebelum berangkat umrah, Ki Manteb mengikrarkan diri mengucap dua kalimat syahadat di masjid yang dibangunnya. Kalangan seniman, pejabat pemerintah daerah, tokoh masyarakat, dan tokoh agama diundang. Termasuk Bupati Karanganyar saat itu, Sudarmaji. Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al Mukmin, Ngruki, Sukoharjo, KH Muhammad Amir SH, yang menuntunnya mengucapkan dua kalimat syahadat.

Awalnya, Ki Manteb mengaku, tak begitu yakin dengan semua agama yang ada. Baginya, agama apa pun, sama saja. Karena itu pula, ia pernah mengikuti semua agama dan aliran kepercayaan. Pernah menjadi penganut agama Hindu, Budha, Kristen, Katolik, maupun beragam aliran kepercayaan kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa (YME). Berpindah-pindah agama hal yang biasa. Dan, selalu berakhir dengan ketidakyakinan dan ketenteraman. Menurut Ki Manteb, kala itu, semua agama itu baik. Semua itu tergantung pada manusia yang menjadi penganutnya.

Namun, setelah memahami dan mendalami serta merasakan betapa kuatnya keyakinan sang anak terhadap agama Islam, ia pun merasa lebih tenteram saat menjadi seorang Muslim. ''Hati ini teduh, damai, dan pasrah pada Tuhan,'' terangnya.

Maka, pada 1996, bersama keluarganya, Ki Manteb menunaikan ibadah haji. Sebelum berangkat, ia sempat mengisi pentas wayang kulit di Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) atas permintaan Pak Harto dan Ibu Tien. Ketika itu, Pak Harto mendoakannya agar menjadi haji yang mabrur. Dan saat tengah menunaikan ibadah haji, ia menerima kabar bahwa Ibu Tien Soeharto meninggal dunia.

Seusai melaksanakan rukun Islam yang kelima, ia pun menyandang predikat haji. Nama itu, ternyata menambah beban baginya. Sebab, sepulang dari haji itu, berbagai olok-olokan kembali dialaminya dari sesama dalang. Ada yang menyebutnya sebagai kaji abangan, kaji kejawen, kaji merah, kaji campur bawur, kaji etok-etokan, dan sebagainya. Namun, semua itu ia abaikan. Ia yakin, yang mengolok-olok itu belum tentu lebih baih baik dari yang diolok-olok. ''Malah sudo (berkurang) dosanya,'' katanya.

Pasrah dan Tawakkal Pada Allah

Sejak menjadi Muslim, Ki Manteb Sudarsono merasakan sebuah keajaiban dalam dirinya. Ia merasa semakin pasrah dan tawakkal kepada Allah. Dahulunya, kata Ki Manteb, hidupnya serba kemrungsung (tergesa-gesa). ''Kalau lagi sepi job (kerja), saya bingung, gelisah. Nanti makan dari mana, ya. Namun, sekarang lebih semeleh (berserah diri). Ada job atau tidak, biasa saja. Semua rezeki, Allah yang mengatur,'' terangnya.

Dan, benar saja. Semua dijalani mengalir seperti air. Falsafah Jawa, Urip iku sakdermo nglakoni (Hidup itu hanya sekadar menjalankan), terasa tepat untuknya. Kalau lagi sepi job, justru ia manfaatkan untuk beribadah. Dan kalau lagi ramaitanggapan (permintaan), ia senantiasa ingat Allah. ''Sekarang lebih gampang bersyukur. Selalu bersikap pasrah dan berserah diri kepada yang kuasa. Hidup ini dinikmati serba tenteram dan damai selalu,'' ujarnya.

Ki Manteb menyatakan, seorang dalang memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Terutama dalam upaya sosialisasi, penerangan, dan mengajak masyarakat pada kebaikan. Hati Seorang Ayah

Seorang ayah memiliki hati yang penuh kasih untuk anak-anaknya. Hati seorang ayah akan tahan menderita bila sakit untuk dirinya sendiri, namun tidak akan tahan disaat melihat buah hatinya yang menderita. Bahkan jika sakit itu bisa digantikannya, ayah bersedia menggantikan sakit anaknya. Itulah hati seorang ayah.

Saya mengenal seorang teman yang juga seorang ayah. Saya biasa memanggilnya Mas Jay. Kami biasa berdiskusi lewat milis dan malam itu Mas Jay berkunjung ke Rumah Amalia. Mas Jay bertutur mulanya dirinya orang yang 'mbeling' tidak memiliki keyakinan yang mantap dan tetap. Ketertarikan belajar sholat secara serius ketika ajakan yang begitu menyentuh dari anaknya yang masih TK. Anak yang masih relatif kecil setiap hari selalu mengajaknya untuk mengerjakan sholat. Awalnya dirinya menanggapi hal itu sebagai biasa saja.

Ajakannya itu terasa betul-betul menampar hatinya. Begitu sangat berharga dan membuatnya menangis meraung-raung justru ketika anaknya sedang sakit masih sempat mengajaknya sholat Isya'. Katanya, ditengah malam anak saya suhu badannya panas tinggi dan perutnya mengeras. Anaknya menangis tak henti-hentinya merengek mengajak saya sholat. Tanpa berpikir panjang saya memenuhi permintaannya untuk mengambil air wudhu. Setelah mengerjakan sholat, kami bergegas menuju Rumah Sakit.

Setelah diperiksa ternyata putranya harus dioperasi. Karuan saja dirinya menjadi panik. Bagaimana mungkin anaknya yang masih kecil itu dengan kekuatan fisiknya yang masih lemah untuk menghadapi operasi. 'Saya hanya bisa berserah diri kepada Alloh SWT, saya berjanji jika anak saya sembuh. Saya akan rajin melaksanakan sholat seperti yang dimintanya.' Tuturnya.

Katanya Mas Jay sebelum anak saya masuk ruang operasi masih sempat bertanya pada dirinya, 'ayah sudah sholat belum.' Kata-kata itu begitu mengiris-iris hati saya. Dulu bila mendengar ajakan teman-temannya untuk sholat selalu menolaknya karena keengganan untuk melaksanakan sholat. Sekarang kata-kata itu justru muncul dari anak yang disayanginya, bagaimana mungkin dirinya bisa menolaknya, lanjutnya. Mas Jay tak bisa menyembunyikan airmatanya yang terus bercucuran.

'Saya menunggu putranya didepan kamar operasi' tuturnya. Ketika lampu operasi menyala. Dirinya bersama istri tercinta tidak bisa menyembunyikan kegelisahannya, hilir mudik didepan kamar operasi. Waktu seolah berjalan lama sekali. 'Segala macam doa yang saya tahu saya panjatkan kehadirat Alloh SWT.' Setelah begitu lama, kamar operasi itu terbuka. Seorang dokter muncul dari pintu. Mencopot sarung tangannya. 'Operasinya berjalan dengan baik, anak bapak sekarang perlu istirahat setelah itu boleh pulang.' Mas Jay menangis bahagia. 'Alangkah nikmatnya anugerah Alloh SWT yang diberikan kepada saya disaat harapan mulai memudar, Alloh SWT menyelamatkan putra saya,' tuturnya. 'Dan sejak itu saya lebih giat untuk melaksanakan sholat karena saya harus memenuhi janji saya,' kata Mas Jay malam itu. Saya bisa merasakan apa yang terjadi pada dirinya. Begitulah hati seorang ayah yang penuh kasih untuk sang buah hatinya.

Google Adsense & Publishers Earnings

There’s been a lot of talk about Google Adsense recently. Tech Crunch posted a story that details how Google has been pulling out all of the stops in adding increased coin to their balance sheet. They’re going off into areas where we wouldn’t expect them to go. For instance publishing ads that essentially go to a “parked page” that only serves up more Adsense ads.

Google is notorious for basically giving no PR to a parked page. It’s nearly impossible for a parked domain to gain any significant page rank value. In fact in many cases some very high profile “category killer” domains are left to play in the sand box. A classic example is Candy.com, it’s hopelessly lost.

One great way for Google to squeeze out some more from the Adsense revenue would be to adjust the revenue share that they split with publishers/aggregators. Unless you have a huge amount of traffic coming to your site (domains) you won’t be signing a deal with Google directly and therefore you’ll never know what you’re rev share split is. The very nature of how the system works (with publishers, aggregators and Google) guarantees zero transparency. Additionally the PPC bidding system assures daily fluctuations. So if on Tuesday a publisher was earning $.30 per click and on Friday $0.25 per click there’s no way for anyone but Google to know why.

This would be a great oppourtunity for Yahoo to open things up and allow for guaranteed revenue share rates. If Yahoo were to guarantee say 80% rev share across the board there would be a mass exodus by every major publisher. The amount of ad inventory would skyrocket. They might be giving up less than 80% currently but in what they loose on rev share they would no doubt make up for in volume. The fact that these are ads and not natural search result listings should negate the arguement that Google provides better natural search results.
Yahoo publisher network hasn’t ever really taken off, this might be a great way to accelerate growth.

Using AdSense Link Units in the footer & navigation

AdSense Link Units can perform very well for AdSense publishers who get the placement nailed down. On regular content sites (ie. not blogs or forums), adding Link Units to both the footer and the side navigation are two of the best placements.

If you haven’t used link units before, essentially what they are is a list of four or five keywords or keyword phrases related to the content of the page. When someone clicks on one of the keyword links, they are taken to a page that only includes ads for the keyword selected. So any link a visitor clicks on that second page will make you money.

One placement that works well is in the footer, either above or below traditional footer links such as your privacy policy (which is now mandatory for AdSense publishers), about us page and copyright information. People often look at footers for information such as copyright date (to see how stale the information is) or to look for contact information, so it can be a good placement that gets noticed, without worrying about potential banner blindness that could happen with having an AdSense ad block in the footer.

For link units in the footer, use the 728×15 size. Then choose either the version that displays 4 links or 5 links based upon the text size in your footer - you want to match the on-page text size as closely as possible, the the link unit that displays 4 keyword(s) has much larger text than the one that has five.

A second great placement is having it positioned within your left side navigation. You can have it above, below or even within the AdSense navigation. There are four widths to chose from (120, 160, 180 and 200 pixels) so you can select the one that fits best within your navigation. And again, select either 4 or 5 links based upon your navigation text size, so that it closely matches it for the best blending.

It is important to make sure you select 4 links versus 5 based upon your on-page text size. Many publishers mistakenly believe that having one more keyword phrase as an option means more revenue, but my tests have shown that using the one that blends and matches best with the text currently on the page has the higher CTR rate. So only use the ones with 5 links if it actually is the one that matches the text best.

Seminars or workshops have been mushroomed in Indonesia lately, some with the honest purpose to take their fellow human to a higher level of possibility, but most have been simply useless or even held with shady purposes.

Samples of these workshops that have been shrouding the mass media in Indonesia lately is about taking profit from the Internet. Some pointed huge numbers to accompany their ad, some pointed to impossible numbers, some had been proved as fraudulence. Now you want to know what it is you have to do to join their exalted company and hopefully this affiliate marketing resource will be of some use to you.

Free to join affiliate programs are one of the easiest ways to get started on your internet-marketing career. I don’t think Google pays much attention to these links, as it quite rightly pays more attention if the site which is linking back to you is in the same field as your site. For instance if your site is about dog grooming, linking to a site which is about pets may be relevant, but it’s no use linking to a real estate site. It will be ignored for page ranking purposes. I use articles to get my one-way links rather than link exchanges.

Finally, every super affiliate has a large customer list, numbering in the thousands. They work on the theory of the numbers game, meaning that if they send out a thousand emails they may get ten sales. If you have the same low success rate, you will obviously have to send out thousands of emails in order to make any money, so you must increase your list numbers. You will have to do this gradually, as you only want interested people on your list, not those who will sign up for anything. This may sound difficult, but every super affiliate started out with a list of zero, just like you.

Google Adsense program is a popular web advertising program which provides a good income source for many websites. There are well defined terms of service to strictly adhere to when participating in the program.
On my visit through sites and forums, I daily notice several instances of misuse of Adsense ads. Believe me, if I can see it in a 5 seconds gaze! - so can the Adsense guys. And if they do, you are on your way off the program. So here a few helpful Google Adsense tips, probably many you already know, and few you might gain by knowing now. These adsense faq are all picked from the Program Policies, Terms and Conditions and FAQ itself and presented in a simplified manner.

1. Never click your own adsense ads or get them clicked for whatever reason. You know this one very well. This is a surefire way to close you Adsense account. Never tell your office associates or friends to click on them. Keep a check if your family or children are busy increasing your income by clicking your ads and indirectly trying to stop your income. Dont even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. Check the ads which appear on your pages by the Google Preview tool if required.

2. Never change the Adsense code. There are enough means of adsense optimization & customizations available to change the colour, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to colour and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS.

3. Do not place more than 3 ad unit and 1 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any web page. Anyway, ads will not appear in those units even if you place more ad units. But this is the limit they set, so it is better to stick to it.

4. Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links.

5. Do not disclose confidential information about your account like the CTR, CPM and income derived via individual ad units or any other confidential information they may reveal to you. However, you may reveal the total money you make as per recent updates to the TOS.

6. Label headings as “sponsored links” or “advertisements” only. Other labels are not allowed. I have seen many sites label ads with other titles. Dont make your site a target in a few seconds gaze.

7. Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default. Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads.

8. One Account suffices for Multiple websites. You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fear that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads.

9. Place ads only on Content Pages. Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program.

10. Do not mask ad elements. Alteration of colours and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the url part is of the same colour as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc.

11. Do not send your ads by email. Html formatted emails look good and allow placement of these javascript ads. But it is not allowed as per TOS. You do not want impressions registering on their logs from any email even once. They are watching!

12. Keep track of your content. So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.

13. Do not alter the results after ad clicks or searches - Ensure you are not in any way altering the site which the user reaches to after clicking the ads. Do not frame, minimize, remove, redirect or otherwise inhibit the full and complete display of any Advertiser Page or Search Results Page after the user clicks on any Ad or Search results.

14. Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing - Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required.
15. Ensure you Language is Supported - Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, AdSense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.

This sounds like a very very mediocre online income but it is what eventually got me started into the full fledge business which i run today. Start selling something you like/learn to like something vs. selling something completely boring. If you are extremely knowledgeable about movies and dvd’s maybe goto your local thrift shop and buy 10-15 used dvd’s (spend like 20.00 max) and put them up on ebay at .99 start bid with 5.00 shipping. Since I’ve pretty much sold everything on Ebay I can tell you that nearly everything will sell on Ebay. Some of the first auctions I ever listed were old books which were just rotting on my bookshelf. Even some extremely boring books went for 6-10.00+shipping. The biggest e-bay seller tip I can give you is to sign up for an online shipping service such as www.endicia.com or the lady’s at the post office will learn to hate you.

#2 Turnkey Sites/Basic Promotion
When just jumping into the internet business (Not including doing Ebay) simple turnkey websites (sometimes known as Adsense websites will do pretty well). The first website I ever made was a turnkey website (a myspace help site turnkey) and it made me $800.00 in 2 weeks. That being the first check I received from my internet business I was pretty happy. Starting a simple website like that will really teach you a lot about how actual original content will really make you significantly more money. If you really watch your traffic logs you will see a lot more money from these websites not only from people clicking your ads but actually having return visitors vs. people who goto your website, click on an advertisment and will never come back.

#4 Write a blog
I actually don’t really make much money with this blog but some people make major money with 1-5 blogs. If you can write very nicely and talk about various niche’s you can probably generate a very loyal base of users who will read your blog on a day2day basis and earn you some very very clean good money over time. Don’t try and blog about some high paying keyword which you know nothing about. I have seen people try and make a quick buck by blogging about Mortgages and Student loans just to get those high paying clicks. If you read their posts you see how little they know about the niche they are writing about which will generally make a user just leave the blog.

#5 Pay Developers to code you a 100% original website
If you have tried some of the tips above of this one you are probably skilled enough to pursue something more wide scale (such as having your own custom website developed). One way to keep expenses down is to actually design/code the website yourself but if you don’t feel comfortable doing that it’s fine. If you don’t goto school 5 days per week like me and you have plenty of time to just sit down and learn I believe this is probably the best tip for you. Search engine optimization is a golden skill which you will make money off of no matter what. Regardless of what you do with your skill; SEO’ing your own websites, consulting, etc. etc.. you will make a great deal of money. Sure seo takes time and is not an easy thing to learn but you will make some very very good money doing SEO type business.

#7 Creating a directory
This is something I do not know much about because it is something that I have never done myself. But I have heard that people can make a lot of money creating quality rich directories. Since i focus on a lot of little websites the only tip I believe would be worth your while from me is to not make a turnkey directory not focusing on 1 specific niche. Make your “Cook Book Directory” or “LCD Computer Screen Directory” I am probably wrong when I say that but I am giving you tips from stuff I have done; not other peoples tips.

#8 Start a paid service website
I am in the process of developing my first paid service website. I am extremely excited to see how it does but when i think about how much money some websites make from small $5-$10 monthly subscriptions I feel that there is a lot of money to be made in monthly subscription websites. If you are great with idea’s think of something unbelievable, code it/pay to have it developed, advertise it using: SEO, PPC, and Link exchanges. Than become the next Steve Jobs!

#9 Create a content rich newsletter
I have done this on a smaller scale and made some money. If you are a good writer but don’t like blogging this is another option you should explore. Make a simple website advertising your weekly newsletter on a specific niche. With almost 7 billion people in this world your guaranteed to find a few people who will read your newsletter religiously. After a few newsletters have been sent out and your user base grows you should maybe add a few little links to earn some money!

#10 Do PPC to CPA
This is something a SEO’er should also explore. PPC-CPA is anything but easy but will make you great money if done correctly. Due to the harsh competition out there with this type of promotion I do not want to reveal the few secrets I have learned but all i can say is Only sell something you would buy yourself. Thats my only word of wisdom for you ;).
