				<description>Congratulations to former lab member Eliott Abrams for securing an Assistant Professorship of Biology at SUNY Purchase.   While in our lab, Eliott helped perform a maternal-effect mutagenesis screen in zebrafish and identified two important mutant classes that disrupt the cleavage stage of development.  He published his work on one of these, the brambleberry protein, in Cell in 2012.  Eliott was a fixture in the lab for 5 years and will be sorely missed.</description>
