Fabricantes reforçam promoções e apostam em gamas económicas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;No ano em que, segundo um inquérito online da Multidados, cerca de dez por cento dos portugueses não vão fazer compras de Natal, fabricantes e distribuidores de brinquedos estão preocupados com a redução das vendas. A menos de uma semana do Natal, o balanço é para uma contracção de cerca de 8% do mercado dos brinquedos relativamente a 2010. Adaptar as colecções à crise tornou-se um imperativo para quem trabalha no ramo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Segundo o director de marketing da Concentra, fabricante nacional de brinquedos e jogos, cerca de 70% das vendas anuais da empresa correspondem à altura do Natal. E, diz Ricardo Feist, se no ano passado cada consumidor gastava, em média, 12 euros em produtos, actualmente gasta apenas 9,50 euros. Uma diminuição de 20%, que justifica com as "limitações financeiras" cada vez mais notórias, que levam os clientes a "comprar de uma forma mais inteligente e selectiva", afirma o responsável.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;De acordo com o que disse ao PÚBLICO, a Concentra "sacrificou fortemente as suas margens [de lucro]", para não reflectir nos preços o aumento nos custos de produção". E tem apostado, nesta altura, em descontos que podem chegar aos 75%. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;É a "importância das promoções" de que fala Ricardo Feist, numa época do ano em que os hipermercados apostam cada vez mais na secção de brinquedos e jogos. O que acaba por reflectir-se nos hábitos de compras dos portugueses: no mesmo inquérito da Multidados, a que respondeu um total de 2454 pessoas, mais de 40% expressaram a intenção de comprar a maioria das prendas para este Natal em hipermercados.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Em Portugal, é o Continente que mais vende artigos para crianças. Destes, cerca de 60% são vendidos nos meses de Novembro e Dezembro. Segundo fonte da cadeia de hipermercados, o Continente tem verificado um abrandamento no consumo de brinquedos, mas acredita que se possa tratar de "um adiamento da compra por parte dos consumidores" para esta última semana antes do Natal. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Foram, no entanto, tomadas medidas em relação a 2010. Para este ano, adiantou a mesma fonte ao PÚBLICO, há "promoções adicionais" relativamente à campanha natalícia anterior. A justificação repete-se: "a conjuntura em que vivemos" e "as necessidades" dos clientes que levam até as grandes superfícies comerciais a lançar descontos que, no caso dos hipermercados Continente, se aplicam a mais de 125 brinquedos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Também a Toys"R"Us, empresa internacional de lojas do sector, optou este ano por reforçar as ofertas e descontos de Natal. O responsável pelas lojas em Portugal admite a contracção das vendas relativamente a outros anos, pelo que a acentuação das promoções pretende igualmente combater a crise. Segundo Paulo Sousa Marques, metade das vendas anuais da loja ocorrem nesta época.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Mas as estratégias para estimular o consumo vão além das promoções. A Majora, fabricante português de jogos, encontrou uma outra estratégia. De acordo com Luís de Sousa, do departamento comercial, a marca lançou este ano uma nova gama com brinquedos mais baratos. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"&gt;Por não haver possibilidade de baixar preços, argumentou Luís de Sousa, a nova gama vem "ao encontro desta tendência" de levar ao consumidor artigos a preços mais acessíveis. Talvez mais do que uma tendência, uma necessidade, quando cerca de 30% dos consumidores afirmam, segundo o inquérito da Multidados, não tencionar gastar mais do que 50 euros no conjunto das prendas para este Natal.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
