MSN Video has changed to Bing Video with some pretty nice features. It allows you to watch content from Hulu, ABC and YouTube. There are also movie trailers and music videos. According to the Bing Blog there are over 900 TV shows for you to watch. It’s a really nice front end to lots of videos. Since it pulls user generated videos from all over the web, searching for videos gives you lots of results. Plus you can preview the clips by hovering over them with your mouse. It’s a huge improvement over MSN video.

Amazon released Kindle software for Windows. It is only in Beta right now but it’s free.

It’s cool that it will start you from the last page you were on. The Mac version is coming soon.

When is a laptop too thin? I like the outside appearance, with screen closed, of the Dell Adamo XPS but once it opens up it looks like it was smashed and the internals busted out the sides and back. Compared to other thin 13″ laptops it is wider and longer. For example the MacBook Air, which isn’t as thin, but it looks more proportionate when it’s open. What are your thoughts on the Adamo XPS?

Since I’m on Verizon I am happy to see these commercials and the push for smartphones since they have been lacking over the years. You can’t just have an awesome network if you don’t have awesome devices to take use of it. The three new ads are below.

Boxee is releasing the Beta on December 7th in NYC. The new beta has a bunch of new features including a new look and feel.

I have been using Boxee since the beginning and it will be exciting to see the new look and who the new partners will be. I’m hoping whoever they get isn’t going to charge monthly like MLB. I want mainstream content for free.

There is a new Droid commercial being aired. I have embedded the video above. They are putting a lot of marketing into this phone and I think it’s well worth it from what I have read so far. I had plans of camping out for it but once again Verizon is causing problems. I have received an email and 2 letters trying to get me to upgrade my phone. I called to verify that is correct explaining that I don’t want to camp out if I can’t get it. They said I can’t upgrade at their 2-year price but it will only cost $50 more. I’m calling again tomorrow to triple check that info. I had a similar issue with the Storm but was denied the upgrade. I canceled plans to camp out, tried to get it on the phone with no luck. Next day they sent me a text telling me to call to upgrade and they said yeah you can upgrade. I had the Storm the next day. I’m guessing that for some reason their mailing department and my online account aren’t matching up. That’s fine for some people but not for someone like me that wants to take advantage of every upgrade your willing to give me.

I’m still holding onto hope that I can get Droid on Friday.
