Information has surfaced for the DVD’s for season 1 of LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. The set will include 5 disks, be priced at $45.99 and will include all 22 episodes plus special features: Deleted scenes, and 2 featurettes  “Forging the Sword: Crafting a Legend,” and “Words of Truth: a Conversation w/ Terry Goodkind.” Release date is scheduled for October 13th w/ presales coming in August. Season 4 of Heroes will bring viewers to the carnival – though one with some very unusual performers, even by carnival standards. While we know Robert Knepper (Prison Break) is the leader of the group, and Ray Park (The Phantom Menace) also has a role, IGN TV has new info for you about another integral member – Lydia, the tattooed lady, played by Dawn Olivieri (How I Met Your Mother).

Here’s the scoop on Lydia, from Heroes executive producer/writer Adam Armus:

“Lydia is the beautiful, charming, soul of the Sullivan Brothers Carnival. This carnival is a roving band of people blessed with special abilities. They are powerful, but they hide in the shadows, performing on the outskirts of towns and cities. But all of that is about to change.

Lydia has been part of this carnival for a number of years. She is the exotic tattoo lady, but she is also a powerful empath of sorts. She has the ability to ’sense’ the images on her body and provide valuable information about them. This ability is of great value to Samuel (Robert Knepper), the leader of the carnival. He uses Lydia’s ability to locate other ’specials’ in the world and uses the information she provides to woo them to his side.

Lydia is compassionate towards Samuel. She understands the grief that has fueled his ambition. But will she support his ultimate destructive goals? Will she be loyal or does Lydia have her own agenda?”

Ausiello: Three of the show’s stars — Joe Morton, Erica Cerra and Niall Matter — have signed on to guest star on Sci Fi’s new paranormal series, Warehouse 13, which debuts on July 7. Cerra and Matter will play small-town thieves who hit the jackpot thanks to a luck-inducing artifact, while Morton has been cast as a charismatic religious leader doing time in a Florida prison. Eureka, meanwhile, returns with new episodes three days later on July 10.

Eureka: Jack and Allison Celebrate the Show’s Return

July 9, 2009 – It took the better part of a year, but finally, Eureka is back with the second half of Season 3, beginning Friday night. A lot was left in flux at the end of last year’s run of episodes, leaving fans waiting to find out what would happen next for Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson), Allison Blake (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) and the other residents of the very unusual town of Eureka.

I had the chance to sit down with Ferguson and Richardson-Whitfield to discuss the return of the show, what viewers can expect to see coming up and more. As you’ll see, the duo were very funny together, and kept the banter going at an impressive and entertaining rate.
