Each woman is created so uniquely that we should not try to conform to society’s ideal of what beauty is. All women have the opportunity to look and feel good about their appearance regardless of her dress size, hair texture or facial features. To look beautiful, discover and accentuate your best features. It does take effort and commitment. Is it worth the effort? Absolutely. Taking care of your appearance will not only help you look better, it will help you feel better about yourself too! How you look affects how you think of yourself and how you relate with other people.

Here are some things you can do everyday to help you look your best:

1. Get a good haircut that fits your lifestyle! If you need a wash and wear style, tell your hairdresser. If you have curly hair and want a style that is straight, don’t get it done unless you are 100% committed to using your blow-dryer daily! Remember, embrace your uniqueness.

2. Have good hygiene. Pretty basic, but if you don’t wash your face every night before bed, you will have breakouts! If you don’t take care of your teeth, your smile will not be brilliant!

3. Exfoliate. The number one thing a woman can do to make her skin look and feel better is to exfoliate! Skin naturally sheds it’s outer layer but the resulting build-up can leave skin dull and flaky. The build-up clogs pores, leaving blackheads for you to battle with. Exfoliating 3-5 times a week will help prevent breakouts and will rid you off flakey skin, revealing healthier looking skin. Here’s a Hot Tip: Exfoliating your legs before shaving will leave you with a super silky shave!

4. Apply make-up. A good make-up routine does not take more than 5 minutes! If you really can’t spare 5 minutes, at least apply a good moisturizer with SPF, lip gloss and mascara.

5. Dress in style. It really is just as easy to pull on a great fitting pair of jeans, a cute fitted tee and stylish flats as it is to pull on a pair of sweats, baggy tee and tennis shoes! You’ll look and feel more put together by simply putting a moment’s thought into what you put on.

6. Accessorize. Accessories are the cheapest way to update your wardrobe. A great pair of earrings will draw attention upward to your face; a fashionable belt, shoes or great handbag can add style to any outfit; sunglasses can hide dark under eye circles and a stylish hat is great for bad hair days (We all have them, even with a great cut!)!

7. Own a pair of Red High Heels. For an evening out with your man, nothing is sexier than a great pair of red high heels! Black heels are fine, but RED heels are great! They give you a feeling of confidence and sexiness like nothing else! Your man will be thrilled to be seen with a Hot Mama in red heels!

8. Exercise. It really is true that exercise makes you look and feel better! Exercise does not have to be expensive or time consuming. Taking a walk pushing the baby stroller or walking the stairs rather than taking the elevator can be very beneficial for your health and mood!

9. Fix yourself up for your man! If you have been home all day with the kids, put on a clean shirt, spritz on a body spray, run a brush through your hair and slick on some gloss! If you have been at work all day, freshen up before leaving work. Apply some lipstick, straighten your hair, and put a smile on. Men are what they are. They enjoy a pretty face so why not make the effort to freshen up for the man you love? He will appreciate your efforts!

10. Dump the Flannel. Yes, it keeps you warm but so can your man. Invest in some sexy jammies. You don’t have to wear silk lingerie every night but throw out the frumpy flannel and sex it up a little. Nothing promotes romance like a little skin!

11. Smile! Even when you don’t feel like putting a smile on, do it. It is contagious. When you smile, the world smiles back and you will be wearing a genuine smile in no time! Few things are more attractive than a great smile!

12. Have confidence. Nothing is sexier than a woman with confidence.

Every woman is beautiful but looking your best does take some effort. There are many resources available on how to dress for your body type, what hairstyle best suits your face shape, how to apply make-up for your skin type and facial features, and how to care for your body through diet and exercise.

Take the extra minutes to care for your appearance and give yourself the chance to look your best. When you look great, you feel great! Trust me, your husband will notice your extra effort and a new energy will be felt in your relationship with him!

Tammy Gibson
Owner, A Mom In Red High Heels
www.AMomInRedHighHeels.com Tammy Gibson is the proud owner of A Mom In Red High Heels.com, an online beauty & fashion guide helping moms to live life in style! Just as we express care for our children when they have an interest, a hurt, make a mistake or fall, showing ourselves the same understanding provides us room to grow. When we express self- love, we refuel our spirit and refresh our life. Make room for yourself today to finally take cooking lessons or to enroll in that aerobics class. Remembering what you love is a great starting point.

Six simple strategies to show yourself love this month:

1. Make yourself a priority! Choose to place yourself at the top of your list of things to do.

2. Choose an activity for you. Along with scheduling gymnastics or swim class for the children this month, choose an activity for you. Perhaps you could take time to have tea with a friend, take a short walk after dinner or join a book club.

3. Write yourself a love letter! Take some time and review what qualities and traits you like about yourself. Begin your letter with: Dear_____, You are ...... (Be sure to use words that describe your personal attributes).

4. Schedule a check up. Place your health at the top of the list this year. When was your last medical appointment? Are you healthy? Do you have important medical questions? Let’s get them answered.

5. Take a long bath weekly! During the evening, schedule a long bath with yourself. Remember to plan ahead and bring a favorite book, music or special fragrances that invigorate you. (I love the products at Carole’s Daughter. Here is the web site at www.carolsdaughter.com. These products make me happy.)

6. Place something beautiful in your home just for you! Light your favorite candles or buy yourself flowers this month.

Live Fully,

Mia

Challenge! During this month keep something beautiful that you love in your life daily. From the fold of the card to its color, the right kind of birthday party invitations can make or break your party. When announcing the big day, a person has to ask themselves, “Should I print the birthday invitations or should I opt to write out all the information by hand?” The answer will vary depending upon your personal style, party size, and available printer specs.

Indeed, there are some distinct differences between fill-in-the-blank and printable stationery. Opting for Printable Birthday Invitations Printable birthday invitations are a popular option, especially for those who want a professional look, but do not want to pay the high costs of a professional printer. With the wide array of appealing styles and themes, even the most fashion-forward party planner can find the perfect printable birthday invitations. Because they can be printed from home, printable birthday invitations typically include easy-to-follow directions. Limitless in the number of birthday announcements that can be printed, people who have large guests list often enjoy sending this type of invitation.

Precautions to Take with Printable Birthday Invitations With this in mind, there are several precautions you should take with printable invitations. To accommodate for potential printing mistakes and jams, it is recommended that you purchase 10% or 20% more extra invitations than your guest list needs. This will ensure that you will have sufficient birthday invitations, even if you make a mistake with the wording. In addition, you can take action to prevent printer jams when creating your birthday invitations. Printer jams cost both time and money, but feeding a few sheets of paper at a time will help avoid a catastrophe from happening. Noting whether you have the right type of printer to do the job is also essential before starting the task. For example, if you have an ink-jet printer, make sure that the printable invitation is compatible and not only designed for laser printers. You should also pay attention to the size of the invitation because printing programs are usually only set to print on standard sized paper measuring 8.5’ x 11’.

The Convenience of Fill-In-The-Blank Birthday Invitations Fill-in-the-blank cards are convenient, and they are ideal for parties that have small guest lists. Without worrying about printer jams and formatting, you can simply write out the details for your birthday bash. In addition, in today’s modern digital world, your handwriting can be a nice personal touch. However, for larger parties with guest lists greater than 10, it may be more time-efficient to simply use printable birthday invitations.

Comparing the Text between Fill-In and Printable Birthday Invitations Because there is a limited amount of space on the front of a fill-in-the-blank card, party details should be short and to the point. You may also need to browse through a variety of options before finding the fill-in-the-blank birthday invitation that has the right tone and style for your party. However, from formal and elegant wording to casual and witty templates, there are a wide variety of fill-in birthday invitations. On the other hand, printable stationery may allow for more information to be added to the invitation. Printable invitations look professional and eliminate confusion where messy handwriting is concerned. If your penmanship resembles that of a doctor’s, consider spending extra time printing your birthday invitations so that your guests will be able to read the invitation without any hassle.

Or, if your heart is set on fill-in birthday invitations, enlist the help of a friend with the writing process.Although both types of stationery have their advantages, only you can choose the right kind of birthday invitation for your big celebration. Whether you write in the information yourself or print it from home, remember this—no one throws a party like you do!
Please provide the anchor text / biography for your resource box: Excite your guests with unique birthday invitations from MyExpression.com, where you can find a wealth of resources ranging from how to choose birthday stationery to planning the perfect party.
Article Source: http://greatarticlesformoms.com
This article can be printed in it’s entirety as long the author's bio box is intact and all links are live and clickable. Do you know where your goals are? How many of us like to make these elaborate goals for the new year and come February we’ve forgotten what we were even planning on attempting to achieve.Well no more! Use these five tips to help you achieve your goals for 2010.

1. Write your goals down. Something about the act of putting those goals to paper signals us to realize “Hey this is real! I’d better get on it!” So put those goals to paper and make sure it is in ink. Use a different piece of paper for each goal. Write down the steps necessary to achieve it and all of the accompanying details

.2. Tackle your goal in bite sized pieces. Goals are easier to digest in smaller doses. Whether you want to lose a specific amount of weight, organize your home, learn a craft or what have you realize that it’s the pieces that make the whole. Be sure to break it down into sizes that you can reasonably accomplish in your given amount of time.

3. Give yourself a deadline. Don’t let your goals drag on endlessly. Behaviorists agree it takes 21 days of consistency to make something a habit so at least give yourself that amount of time before moving on to the next step in your goal or a new goal.

4. Post your goals. Put those goals somewhere you will be reminded of them. On your fridge. In your daily planner. In a cute picture frame on your dresser or even in your kitchen. Confront yourself with your goals often.

5. Know what you can reasonably accomplish. We must be aware of what we can reasonably do. If not you set yourself up for disappointment. I’m reminded of women striving for longer hair. They don’t come from a bob and say “Next year I will have hip length hair.” No they take it a step at a time. From shoulder length, to armpit length, to midback, to waist and beyond and each milestone is worth a celebration.

6. Speaking of celebrations. Reward yourself for each step of your goal that you accomplish. Just as you are rewarded for achieving a goal in the workplace reward yourself for the achievements in your personal goals. No need to break the bank even the tiniest reward works to motivate you to continue on.
Busy moms make your goal for 2010 to take good care of you. If you could unlock the door to happiness, would you? Would your children be happier if you were too? Inside you’ll discover one simple master key to becoming parents in love.Because of busy lives, the demands of children, and little time for each other, is your love for your partner losing its flame? Is your mind focused on your job, getting kids to sports, and family chores? Does your mate come home too late, watch too much TV, or play with the computer until after bedtime? You don’t have to watch the flames of love die or feel discouraged. You can rekindle love when you focus on each other. When Love Loses Its Passion:Many spouses leave their homes calling out, “I’m leaving!” or “See you later!” Lots of times nothing is said and they just leave. Finding their partner to say good-bye is too much effort. Do you or your spouse return home with, “I’m home?” Or do you say nothing, as if your partner doesn’t exist. Your mind is focused on other things. You’re not thinking about your mate at all.If you’re on the receiving end, do you feel taken for granted? Would you like more affection? Or have you gotten to the point that you don’t care? Is your marriage becoming a burnt out affair? This happens time and again in homes all over the world. It doesn’t have to happen in your home. Read on some helpful ideas to practice.“Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness.” – Oliver Wendell Holmes

A wise priest gave my cousins, Mark and Michele, a pre-marriage counseling course. He spent 3 hours on this master key. Master Key to Love and Happiness: “Always give your spouse some small, physical sign of affection when you arrive or leave. A little kiss, a hug, or a squeeze and smile, reassures your spouse of your constant love.” – Father Shaunessy

How These 3 Marriage Sparks Ignite More Love:

Marriage Spark Number 1 - A little kiss before you leave and after you return takes extra effort. It satisfies skin hunger. It shows your spouse there’s magnetism between you. When your partner accepts your love and returns it with a kiss, you feel loved too.

Marriage Spark Number 2 - Hugs before you leave and after you return give your partner affection. When your arms surround your mate, you prove your life revolves around her. Hugging you back confirms her feelings for you.

Marriage Spark Number 3 - A squeeze and a smile before you leave and after you return reveals the magic between you. It shows him, “We are one.” When warm feelings glow, love is rekindled again.

If these 3 signs of affection can do so much, imagine the joy of putting all 3 together. Don’t be shy. Give them all a try.
