DNC Refuses to Remove Obama From Presidential Ballot – Patriot Update: Most of us Patriots want to believe once Judge Malihi makes a decision based upon the rule of law that Obama is no longer eligible to be on the Georgia State Ballot. Once he does this, it will be THE END of it; period. This will NOT be the end of it and here is why. In 2008, a Pennsylvania Judge ruled Obama to be removed from the Presidential Ballot and the DNC refused to oblige the judge’s order. Do we really believe the Democrats will follow the “Rule of Law?” Did they oblige to the law when Judge Malihi called the Court in Session in January to hear arguments and merits of this case? Do we really believe once the order comes down against Obama that the Democrats will just shrug their shoulders and say, oh well and comply with the order?

The Planned Parenthood abortion business is defending President Barack Obama’s decision to put in place a mandate forcing religious employers to pay for insurance coverage for their employees that covers birth control or drugs that may cause abortions.

The Obama Administration issued a statement re-iterating the “contraceptive mandate” requiring all insurance providers cover the full range of FDA-approved drugs and devices would remain intact. This mandate, issued in August, includes drugs that work after conception to destroy life rather than prevent it. The statement included a postponement of one year for religious groups that do not already carry contraceptives and additionally would not be exempted under last year’s narrow definition of “religious employer.”

Fuel Fix » Shell losing $1 billion a year on U.S. Gulf drilling delays: Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Europe’s largest oil company, is losing about $1 billion a year from drilling delays in the Gulf of Mexico since the 2010 Macondo disaster.

Shell’s production in the region will be curbed by about 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent this year, similar to 2011, Chief Financial Officer Simon Henry said. The company expects to return to planned operations off the Gulf coast by 2014.

“The cash flow implications are a billion dollars or more per year relative to where we want to be,” Henry said in London today. “We are catching up.”

The company, which in March said it planned to raise output to 3.5 million barrels of oil equivalent a day in 2012, is now warning that production could be lower due to Gulf drilling delays, asset sales and oil and gas prices in the U.S.

The U.S. Interior Department issued new safety regulations after lifting the drilling moratorium in October 2010 put in place after BP Plc’s Macondo well exploded in April the same year. The blowout, which killed 11 and sank the drilling rig, led to hundreds of lawsuits against BP and its partners and contractors.

Smugglers allegedly used black drivers to avert suspicion at border - latimes.com: In the calculus of cross-border human smuggling, Maria Lopez-Diaz allegedly concluded that black instead of brown equals green.

The 60-year-old Compton woman, prosecutors say, tried to cash in on racial profiling by operating a human smuggling ring that hired mostly African American drivers who didn't speak a word of Spanish to ferry small groups of immigrants from Mexico to Los Angeles.

In the end, the alleged venture failed. Authorities announced charges Thursday against Lopez-Diaz and four others, including conspiracy and transporting and harboring illegal immigrants. Lopez-Diaz, two family members and a driver were arrested by agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol.

Darrell Issa, and Attorney General Eric Holder, caught by The Right Scoop. Issa asks when Holder will start holding his team accountable for the mistakes made during Operation Fast and Furious, especially since the wiretap applications involved in the operation appear to show that Assistant AG Lanny Breuer and other high-ranking officials in the DoJ and ATF had knowledge of the gunwalking techniques employed. Will any action on accountability from Holder come after the Inspector General report on OF&F, Issa asks, “because you haven’t done any so far, as far as we can tell.”

Braun, the former intelligence chief for the DEA, testified this week at a hearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee that "collaboration between Latin American drug cartels and groups such as Iran's Quds Force and the Islamic terror group Hezbollah is growing 'far faster than most policymakers in Washington, D.C., choose to admit'" as reported by Guy Taylor for The Washington Times: "If we don't do something about it and really get serious about it, I think there's gonna be hell to pay at some date in the probably not too distant future,” said Braun.

Many critics of the U.S. open border policy long have warned that Muslim terror groups may exploit the smuggling routes which have been established by the drug cartels in order to gain entry into the United States.

The Dems' 'breathtaking' refusal to pass a budget | Washington Examiner: "Let’s see it,” a frustrated Sen. Jeff Sessions said on the Senate floor Monday afternoon. “Let’s bring it forward.”

By “it,” Sessions meant a Democratic proposal for a 2012 federal budget. In recent days Sessions, the top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, has been asking, pushing, pleading, cajoling and begging Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to put forward a Democratic plan. So far, Reid has steadfastly refused.

That’s nothing new. The last time the Senate passed a budget was April 29, 2009, which was, if you are counting — and Jeff Sessions is — 755 days ago.

Passing a yearly budget for the federal government is a fundamental responsibility of Congress. Lawmakers do not have to spend their time naming post offices or passing health care reform. But they do have to pass a budget. In 2010, neither the House nor the Senate did so. It’s not that members just didn’t get around to it, which would have been scandalous enough. No, Reid and then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi feared that passing a budget would hurt their chances in the November midterm elections. So they did nothing and took a beating at the polls anyway.

US jobless rate falls, but labor force shrinks | GMA News Online | The Go-To Site for Filipinos Everywhere: WASHINGTON - US businesses cranked up hiring in January in a burst of job growth that pulled the US unemployment rate down to 8.3 percent, nearly a three-year low, official data showed Friday.

But Matt McDonald at Hamilton Place Strategies said the decline in the labor force participation rate, to 63.7 percent from 64 percent in December, was a worrying sign that people are still dropping out of the workforce.

"If that full participation rate is the goal, our economy is 'missing' 3.8 million workers," McDonald said.

The blockbuster jobs report blew past expectations, providing a shot of good news for President Barack Obama's reelection bid in November. The economy added 243,000 net jobs last month, the Labor Department reported, much better than the average analyst forecast.

Businesses put 257,000 jobs on their payrolls, while government layoffs, which had limited net jobs generation over the past two years, declined.

It condemned the Department of Health and Human Services’ decision to force religious employers to cover the cost of contraception and abortion-inducing drugs in its employees’ health-care coverage. The letter argued that the faithful could not and must not in good conscience comply with the HHS’ “unjust law.”

However, Catholic chaplains in the U.S. Army were “forbidden” from reading this communication.

After Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who is in charge of Catholic military chaplains, sent out the note to be read at Sunday Mass, the Army’s Office of the Chief of Chaplains sent out another communication “forbidding Catholic priests to read the letter, in part because it seemed to encourage civil disobedience, and could be read as seditious against the Commander-in-Chief,” Business Insider‘s Michael Dougherty reports.

Explaining Obama’s Fake Job Numbers | Conservative Byte: Don’t ask me about seasonal adjustment. I’ve been trying to figure this out all morning, and I can’t. But the raw numbers, 130 million jobs in December, 128 million jobs in January, give or take a couple hundred thousand either side. But when the seasonal adjustments take place, there is a gain of 200, whatever they’re reporting, 33,000 jobs. Now, what’s happening is the labor force is shrinking. There are fewer jobs. Even the Drive-Bys, so excited, they can’t wait to report the good news, but even they are reporting that the labor force participation rate, number of jobs out there, is continuing to dwindle, and most of the jobs being created are low wage.

But none of that’s gonna matter. None of it’s gonna matter. I don’t want to be an “I told you so,” but way back last year, even recently toward the end of last year, this being an election year, I predicted. But you knew. You knew what was gonna happen when this year started. You knew that the statistics are that no president has ever been reelected when the unemployment rate’s over 8%. So guess what it’s gonna be by the time we get to Election Day? It’s just that simple.

Recorded during a 2011 seminar in Los Angeles on Marxism, this “video is an excellent tool for CPUSA and YCL members, friends and collectives to discuss and deepen understanding of Marxist methodology.”

Officials say security forces fired in self-defence after mobs of rioters attacked police and official buildings in the south-western province of Sichuan, resulting in two deaths.

Tibetan exiles and campaign groups say police fired at peaceful protesters and killed at least three people.

It has been impossible to verify accounts of the unrest. Foreign reporters attempting to visit the region have been turned back, with officials blaming bad weather and the state of the roads.

I got an email this week from Markos Moulitsas – the proprietor of the Daily Kos, which I had previously labeled as “a disgusting left-wing website connected with George Soros.”

Moulitsas didn’t take issue with my characterization of the Daily Kos as disgustingly left wing.

But he did challenge me for evidence of the connection between the site and George Soros. That should give you an idea of how much even leftists hate being associated with Soros.

His exact words: “Since you’re a self-styled hotshot investigative something-or-other, I’d love to see your evidence for the claim that: ‘Daily Kos, a disgusting left-wing website [is] connected with George Soros.’ So, pray tell, what is this connection?”

I hadn’t realized Kos was a prayerful person.

The stunning statements come from Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

She was being interviewed by Al Hayat in Egypt, which is trying to develop a government after citizens deposed longtime dictator President Hosni Mubarack last year.

Egypt is facing major obstacles to a democratic form of government as the Muslim Brotherhood as a political party has been assembling a majority in the country. Among its goals is a Muslim caliphate worldwide.
