Cultural Embrace by API (CE by API) is working together with Colombian government-sponsored and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to provide conversational English training in job training centers and teacher training programs. Student ages range from sixteen to fifty years old, with varied language skills. English training is an important step to help locals do better in school, find better jobs, and improve communication in the global market.

Teach in Colombia Requirements:
-Teach 20-25 classroom hours + ~15-20 hours of office hours, classroom prep, staff meetings per week.
-Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Classroom experience or education degree preferred, but not required.

-Fluent English speaker and good command of English grammar and conversational skills

About EF English First
English First is a large and well-established organization with over 50 schools in Indonesia alone. The Surabaya franchisee runs eleven very successful schools in East Java and two in Bali. Our Academic Programs
* Class size is limited to 15, but averages about 10. Most students attend high school or university, but there are also growing numbers of young learners and Business English groups. English levels range from beginner to advanced.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications:

Bachelor degree. Linguistics majors will be given preference.
ESL Teaching Certification such as TESL, TEFL and CELTA from a recognized institution with a duration of minimum 100 hours.
3+ years ESL experience, preferably in Elementary schools.
Native English speaker.
Proven ability to effectively work with children and adults in a pleasant and cooperative manner.
Perform responsibilities and tasks timely, accurately and with great attention to detail.

The Ministry thoroughly inspects our school every year. For example, inspectors look into BC program year plans, instructional time, instructional methods, admission system, integrity of promotion and registration process, support services, school policies, safety and supervision plans, student and staff records, teacher and principal certification and hiring practices, learning resources, facilities and school licensing.
Although the school offers bilingual/bi-cultural education with an Arabic Program that implements the Qatar National Curriculum, the main program is the BC program with the majority of the instructional time dedicated for this program (80% in K and 74% starting Grade 1)

Details:

I Can Read is a large literacy-based learning organisation with centres in nine countries. We are currently seeking appropriately qualified and experienced teachers to fill vacancies in our Singapore centres.
-Teachers must be Degree-qualified Native Speakers from Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, South Africa or the U.S.A.

-The position involves teaching reading, writing and comprehension skills to children using the specially-developed “I Can Read“ system. More information on our teaching methods can be found on our website.
