CURRENT PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION - President Obama's proclamation this year is a history lesson stating: "The feast honored the Wampanoag for generously extending their knowledge of local game and agriculture to the Pilgrims, and today we renew our gratitude to all American Indians and Alaska Natives." Later in the proclamation he mentions that President George Washington changed the emphasis. See proclamation.

SPEAKER'S THANKSGIVING STATEMENT - Unlike President Obama's proclamation which claimed Thanksgiving began as a politically correct diversity event, that of Speaker Boehner reflects the true nature of Thanksgiving. Referring to a painting in the Capitol Rotunda he writes: "The painting shows the Pilgrim leaders in 1620 kneeling in prayer around a Geneva Bible, appealing to God for safe travel aboard their ship Speedwell before their passage from the Old World to a new life in America. On the ship's sail is written 'God with us' and a distant rainbow symbolizes the promise of a better life." Read complete statement.

THE PRESIDENCY
OBAMA: LAST SECULAR GOVERNMENT MUST FALL - Conservatives in Congress have fallen in behind President Barack Obama's drive to oust the last secular government in the Middle East and replace it with one controlled by Hezbollah, a terrorist organization. Most of the Christians who fled the government set up in Iraq by President George W. Bush now live in Syria. Christians in Syria fully support the secular government of President Assad because they have seen the plight of Christians in nations such as Iraq and Egypt as the American government continues to favor Islamist governments over those that are secular in nature. If Obama wins in Syria, Christians will be massacred; there is no place left for them in the Middle East and this Administration has made it clear they are not welcome here.
OBAMA: MILITARY AID FOR ASIA - President Obama, currently in Asia, has pledged a military buildup in the Pacific with military aid to Australia as a start. This is nuts. Australia is second only to Germany in financial soundness and does not need a dime from us in any form at all. Indeed our nation will have to borrow the money from China to send our military to Australia. Oddly, conservatives will support this while ignoring the Islamist threat from Indonesia. On his Asia trip President Obama again attacked Americans saying they are "lazy." What would it be like to have a President who was proud of our nation and its people?

FORBES FILES EGYPT RESOLUTION - Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA) has filed a resolution, H.Res. 459, that would encourage any new government convened in Egypt to fully allow for the freedom of religion. Forbes and 22 other congressmen also sent a letter to President Obama urging him to denounce the violence used by the Egyptian military against Coptic Christians in October.

NO PRAYER AT WW2 MEMORIAL - The Obama Administration is opposed to the World War II Memorial Prayer Act (H.R. 2070), introduced by Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) The bill would add President Franklin D. Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the National World War II Memorial. President Roosevelt delivered the prayer to the nation on June 6, 1944, the day that American troops stormed the beaches of Normandy. Rep. Johnson said, "It is unconscionable that the Obama Administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation's distinguished World War II veterans. President Roosevelt's prayer gave solace, comfort, and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression. These words should be included among the tributes to the Greatest Generation memorialized on the National Mall."

CULTURE BASED (SHARIA) JUSTICE - The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges wants the nation's judges to determine if there is "a culturally-based explanation" when deciding whether or not a child needs to be removed from the home because of abuse or neglect. The NCJFCJ wants judges to use the Council's "benchcard" as a legal tool and checklist on abuse and neglect cases. Under the benchcard's heading "LEGAL THRESHOLD FOR REMOVAL" is the inquiry: "Have the family's cultural background, customs and traditions been taken into account in evaluating the event and circumstances that led to the removal? Have the parent(s) cultural or tribal liaison/relevant other(s) been asked if there is a culturally-based explanation for the allegations in the petition?" In some jurisdictions, the terms of Sharia or Islamic law are already being offered as a defense for criminal abuse and forced marriages of minors. Read more CAIR ATTACKS MODERATE MUSLIMS - The Council on American-Islamic Relations' (CAIR) campaign of discrediting critics now includes attacking other Muslims who speak out against terrorism. Last week, CAIR called two Minneapolis activists "anti-Muslim" for their participation in a seminar which included a discussion about an Islamic terrorist group in Somalia. Both Omar Jamal and Abdirizak Bihi are Muslims. But CAIR's Minnesota chapter attacked them over their involvement with a seminar on Somali culture and their communities in America held Thursday in St. Paul. Read more
MARYLAND PUBLIC POOL FOR MUSLIMS ONLY? - Shehlla Khan, a Muslim in Howard County Maryland did not want people (read that as non-Muslims) watching her swim in the conservative, cover-all dress required by Islamic dress codes. The Columbia Association which controls the public pool immediately created a twice weekly, women only swim time. Will this satisfy the Muslim community? No, the goal is Sharia and Sharia says that non-Muslims may not look upon Muslim women. The policy of "Muslim only" public pools is a reality in London, UK and will be here soon.
SHARIA YES, CROSS NO - The Supreme Court declined to hear a case brought by the American Atheists challenging the constitutionality of crosses placed on Utah roadsides to honor fallen state troopers. The Utah Highway Patrol Association asked the Supreme Court to hear the case after the Tenth Circuit held that the crosses violated the Establishment Clause. With Utah's permission, a private nonprofit organization placed the cross memorials at sites where state troopers were killed in the line of duty. The Supreme Court's decision declining the case means that the Tenth Circuit's decision will stand. Justice Clarence Thomas dissented from the Court's denial of the case saying, "Today the Court rejects an opportunity to provide clarity to an Establishment Clause jurisprudence in shambles." He continued, "It is difficult to imagine an area of the law more in need of clarity."

TUNISIA'S NEW LEADER HAILS "SIXTH CALIPHATE" - 'The Islamist politician likely to become Tunisia's first democratically elected prime minister has alarmed liberals and secularists by claiming the arrival of the "sixth caliphate", a controversial term for a Muslim empire. Hamadi Jebeli told a rally in the city of Sousse: "My brothers, you are at a historic moment in a new cycle of civilisation, God willing. We are in sixth caliphate, God willing." Read more

PRESERVING FREEDOM FROM SHARIA

STOPPING SHARIA - The Constitution or Sharia Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on November 11, 2011 was a great success, with far more participants than would have been possible at the original venue at the Hutton Hotel. Just two weeks prior to the conference, the Hutton Hotel refused to honor the contract it had signed with the Sharia Awareness Action Network. The Hutton Hotel had apparently determined that it would benefit financially from becoming Sharia compliant. Sharia law forbids any critical voice against Islam. Read more

SHARIA IN THE WEST - The Constitution or Sharia Conference was truly an international event. Barrister Paul Diamond from the United Kingdom spoke on the Islamization of London and his struggle in the courts to represent Christians whose rights have been taken from them. He presented the case of British Airlines which permits employees to wear Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and other religious clothing, but prohibits them from wearing any cross or other item identifying them as Christians. The courts actually upheld British Airlines' right to discriminate against Christians. Diamond has founded Christian Concern in the United Kingdom to assist Christians who are persecuted as the United Kingdom becomes more Muslim oriented. Reverend Mark Durie, an Australian Anglican priest and scholar, discussed the Australian fight against Sharia. Read more

BACHMANN PREDICTS NUCLEAR WAR - Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann says developments in the Middle East are setting the stage for nuclear war against Israel. In a Republican debate Saturday, Bachmann warned that Iran's attempt to develop a nuclear weapon is part of a regional push against Israel. She said Iran is working with countries like Syria and groups like Hamas to push its agenda. Read more

MORE CHRISTIANS DIE IN NIGERIA - They stormed this town in Yobe state, northern Nigeria like a swarm of bees, and at the end of their four-hour rampage, some 150 people had been killed - at least 130 of them Christians, according to church sources. Hundreds of people are still missing, and the destruction included the bombing of at least 10 church buildings. Read more

CHURCH OF NICEAN CREED NOW A MOSQUE - CatholicCulture.org reports that the historic church where the Council of Nicea was held, which has been a museum for nearly a century, has been converted to a mosque. In 1920 the new secular government of Turkey made the building a museum. Now the government's Directorate for Religious Affairs has returned the building to use as a mosque, overriding objections from Christians who pointed to its important religious and historic heritage.

FIREBOMBING FOR SHARIA - The offices of the satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo were firebombed attack after it portrayed Mohammed to be its "guest editor." The November 2 firebombing came at the same time the magazine's current issue titled "Sharia Hebdo" (a reference to Islamic law), and featuring a cartoon of Mohammed on its cover appeared on newsstands. There was no outrage on the part of the socialist left or multi-culturalists in France. They seem to agree that free speech does not allow blasphemy against Islam.
TIME SAYS MAGAZINE CAUSED BOMBING -The Paris editor for Time Magazine writing about the bombing of Charlie Hebdo said, "Not only are such Islamophobic antics futile and childish, but they also openly beg for the very violent responses from extremists their authors claim to proudly defy." Bruce Crumley went on to say that it's "hard to have much sympathy for [Charlie Hebdo] after it published another stupid and totally unnecessary edition mocking Islam." Apparently Time Magazine holds the editorial position that Muslims have the right to blow up anyone they think has been blasphemous to Islam. Read more

When the Cornerstone Church agreed to allow the conference on Sharia, then the conference speakers, their organizations and employers have come under attack. MARINES MAY NOT URINATE TOWARD MECCA - American Marines in Islamic nations such as Afghanistan have been directly told not to spit or urinate toward Mecca because it is disrespectful to Islam. They have also been told not to sleep with their boots toward Mecca. These are all rules of Sharia that the military is imposing on itself. Read more

BACHMANN OPPOSES SHARIA LAW - Congresswoman and presidential candidate Michele Bachmann said Wednesday she was troubled that American judges would cite Sharia law in U.S. courtrooms and that the practice would "usurp" the U.S. Constitution. "It's very troubling to see some United States justices bring in sharia law," Bachmann said in a radio interview with WHO Radio in Iowa. "Sharia law certainly does not have a place in a United States courtroom, nor should it be followed by United States judges." Read more

LONDONISTAN MP ATTACKED - U.K. MP Mike Freer was holding a constituency surgery at the North Finchley mosque when a dozen Islamists from the "Muslims Against Crusades" group forced their way into the building. Freer, a homosexual man and a member of Conservative Friends of Israel, later said one of the activists called him a "Jewish homosexual pig." He was forced to abandon the meeting and to hide in a locked section of the facility. Perhaps Mayor Bloomberg of New York should think again about sitting on prayer rugs at mosques. Read more
MORE CHRISTIANS MARTYRED - Armed Muslims attacked a church Thursday, killing at least two people, in the town of Zonkwa, in central Nigeria. Another 14 were injured in the attack. Then, today, three suicide bombers targeted the headquarters of the military and secret service in another Nigerian city, Maiduguri. The Islamist Boko Haram group was behind both attacks.
CHRISTIANS ATTACKED IN KHARTOUM - Emboldened by government calls for a Sudan based on Islamic law since the secession of South Sudan, Muslims long opposed to a church near Khartoum have attacked Christians trying to finish constructing their building, sources have told Compass Direct News. HUTTON HOTEL CANCELS CONFERENCE ON SHARIA- The Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN has cancelled the Preserving Freedom Conference scheduled for 11/11/11. Amerimar Investments at first said they had received "threats," but later claimed that two of our speakers "incited" people to violence. Any criticism of Islam is forbidden under Sharia law. Not even non-Muslims may be critical of any aspect of Sharia. The Hutton Hotel can now be said to be Sharia compliant in this regard. Read more

LIBERTY COUNSEL JOINS FIGHT IN NASHVILLE- The founder and president of Liberty Counsel, Mat Staver, was one of the slated speakers at the Preserving Freedom Conference in Nashville. As chief counsel for Liberty Counsel, he has argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court. Staver has now issued a letter to the Hutton Hotel and its owners demanding that they honor their contract and allow the conference to continue. Read more

THIRD HOTEL MAY CANCEL? - A Hyatt Hotel in Sugarland, TX cancelled an anti-Sharia conference at which Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak just one week before Islamists convinced the Hutton Hotel in Nashville to tear up its legally binding contract with the Preserving Freedom Conference. Now a hotel in Maryland is being pushed to cancel an annual event held there by a conservative group because one of the scheduled conference panels deals with Sharia. Read more

SHARIA USE IN US COURTS - A Florida appeals court ruled that Judge Richard Nielsen could use Islamic law to decide a key issue in a lawsuit involving a local mosque. The judge had found earlier that the mosque had violated Sharia law by expelling trustees. The mosque supports the use of Sharia law except in this case when it lost. Read more

THE LEFT IGNORES HUMAN RIGHTS - The left's worst crime in the Middle East has been its support for the region's Arab-Muslim majority at the expense of minorities. Leftists have supported the majority's terrorism, atrocities, ethnic cleansing and repression of the region's minorities. Very rarely have they raised their voices in support of endangered minorities, and when they have done so, it was in muted tones completely different from their vigorous defenses of the nationalism of the Arab Muslim majority.

THE ARAB SPRING HAS SPRUNG - The first nation to "revolt" in the so-called Arab Spring was Tunisia and the first election results are in. An Islamist party has won over 40% of the vote and will form the new government. Before the "Arab Spring," Tunisia was the "model" secular nation in the Arab world. Just prior to the election the new leaders in Tunisia had announced that any new constitution would follow Sharia law. Read more

ISLAM AT ITS BEST - Muslim pirates kidnapped a very ill French woman and refused her medication, causing her death. Now the Muslims are holding her body for ransom. "The hostage-takers are even trying to sell the remains, it could not be more despicable," said French Defence Minister Gerard Longuet. "Seizing a woman of this age, who is sick and paralysed, and not giving her her medication, allowing her to develop septicaemia from which she apparently died, and then proposing to sell her remains! These are not people who deserve anything but contempt," Longuet said. Read more

MORE CHRISTIANS DIE AT MUSLIM HANDS -Five Catholic plantation workers were massacred by Moro Islamists in a pre-dawn attack on their village. The victims were aboard a vehicle of the Tumahubong Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Incorporated Development Cooperative on the way to Cabengbeng village when they were attacked. About 40 followers of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) commander Dan Laksaw Asnawi perpetrated the ambush. ARAB SPRING OR ARAB FALL - It was 1979 and President Jimmy Carter had just forced the Shah of Iran to flee into exile. The headlines read: "Shah out, democracy comes to Iran." In 1991 the Soviet backed Communist government of Afghanistan falls to the Islamic rebels supported by the United States. The headlines read: "Communists out, democracy comes to Afghanistan." OBAMA DEFENDS UGANDA?- Uganda has a long history of terror and bloodshed. Muslim dictator Idi Amin was in control when Israeli special forces had to attack the Entebbe airport to release a plane load of hostages. Eventually the Muslim dictator was exiled to Libya. Now President Obama has sent troops to fight against the "Lord's Resistance Army." Make no mistake, the LRA does not represent mainstream Christian faith, but why is President Obama involving us in a second African war this year? Did he not say he was elected to bring troops home?

VANDERBILT UNIVERSITIES ATTACK ON RELIGIOUS GROUPS - Congressman Forbes appeared on Fox News this week to discuss Vanderbilt University's treatment of Christian student groups. Forbes is the Co-Chairman of the Prayer Caucus.The university demands that Christian groups allow atheist and Muslim leaders. Several religious student organizations have been placed on "provisional status" for requiring their student leaders to share the groups' religious beliefs. The Prayer Caucus sent a letter to Vanderbilt Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos urging him to ensure that school's nondiscrimination policy is not being interpreted in a manner that discriminates against religious student groups. Political and other student groups are allowed to select leaders who share the groups' views, religious student groups are being prohibited from doing so. Watch the interview here.

CAIR DEMANDS MILITARY CHANGE UNIFORMS - it starts in high school, then where. The Counsel on American Islamic Relations sent a letter last week to the superintendent of Williamson County Schools demanding a formal apology be issued to Miss Zawity and that she be allowed to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers Training Program (JROTC) program wearing her hijab. She was banned from the program because she demanded to be the only student in uniform wearing a hijab. For CAIR and the rest of the Muslim Brotherhood, this is not about the JROTC or Zawity. It is the first attempt to change the uniforms of the United States military to conform with sharia law. Look at the photo: Was this girl serious about becoming an officer in the United States Army?

HYATT HOTEL CANCELS ANTI-SHARIA CONFERENCE - The Hyatt hotel in Sugar Land, Texas, abruptly canceled a Tea Party event the same day author and Atlas Shrugs founder Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak on the dangers of Sharia. The story has gone international much to the shame of Hyatt Hotels which is now seen as somewhat anti-Semitic. Pamela Geller is a Jew. Hyatt Hotels in Muslim nations are frequently used by radical Islamic groups attacking Israel. The Hyatt did not need to be pushed very hard by the Council on American Islamic Relations when it demanded that Geller be cancelled. EVICTING THE GZ MOSQUE - Power company, which owes half of the property for the propose "Ground Zero mosque" has given developer Sharif Al-Gamal ultimatum: Pay $1.7 million in back rent get out of the property. Park51, which leases the substation from Con Ed, wants the two buildings so it can knock both down and build a $100 million, 15-story community center, or maybe a four story "PrayerSpace" or maybe just use the whole plan to raise money from rich Arabs in Saudi Arabia. CRY FOR SWEDEN - The same nation that tried to put Pastor Aki Green in jail for reading a Scripture critical of homosexuality told an Imam that he had permission from the government to call for the death of anyone leaving Islam. KIDS ABUSED IN U.K. MUSLIM SCHOOLS - Hundreds of children are being subjected to physical abuse in madrassas, an investigation claims. At least 250,000 Muslim youngsters attend the religious instruction centers, which are not formally regulated. More than 400 allegations of physical abuse have been made over the past three years, with the total reaching 146 last year and 89 in 2009. Read more

17-YEAR-OLD CHRISTIAN BEHEADED - Militants from an Islamic extremist organization in Somalia linked to al-Qaida beheaded a 17-year-old Christian near Mogadishu. Guled Jama Muktar was killed by al Shabbab militants in his home near Deynile, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Somali capital. (Note, this is just one of the hundreds of Christians murdered by Muslims worldwide this year as part of Jihad.)

INCREDIBLE CORRUPTION - The headlines don't tell it all. While the focus is on the huge amounts of money given to stalled or bankrupt "green" projects by the Obama Administration, no one is paying much attention to the actual corruption. $737 million in tax payer money was given to The SolarReserve project where Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law, Ronald Pelosi, is second in command. To top that off the project is being built just over the border from California in Senate majority Leader Harry Reid's home state. Christians are under the same pressure. Since then, Cantor has made numerous statements about Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani who is facing death in Iran for converting from Islam to Christianity. Cantor said, "For us in America, it is unthinkable that someone would be put to death for their faith."

ASIA BIBI TORTURED IN JAIL - Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five who was sentenced to death on accusations of blasphemy, has been tortured in her cell according to sources. The Pakistani Christian Post reports, "One jail official attacked and tortured Asia Bibi in her high security cell and she became unconscious." There have been cases of killings of Christians accused of blasphemy and held in Sialkot, Lahore and Karachi jails, in which the victims were declared suicides by authorities. It was already feared by PCC that Asia Bibi can also be killed in jail. Read more

The outnumbered police called in the army to kill even more Christians. At last count there were 36 Christians dead (26 according to mainstream media reports) and hundreds more injured. THE PRESIDENT AND THE ARAB SPRING

NO SUPPORT FOR EGYPTIAN CHRISTIANS – President Barack Obama organized NATO airstrikes to assist Islamic rebels in overthrowing the government of Libyan strongman Moammar Gaddafi. The President was also instrumental in unseating the secular president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak. The President used very strong rhetoric when calling for an “Arab Spring” and the removal of secular leaders in several Middle Eastern nations including Yemen. Now, as one Christian church after the other is burned and as Christians lie dead in the street, murdered by police, little is heard from the White House.

Under the secular leadership of President Hosni Mubarak, Christians and their property were somewhat protected from radical jihadists. When local police allowed or participated in violence against Christians, former President Mubarak sent army troops. In some cases the government built protective walls around churches. Under the new military regime which President Obama ushered into power, many of those protective walls have been removed.

OBAMA SUPPORTS THOSE TRASHING WALL STREET - “I think it expresses the frustrations that the American people feel,” the President told NBC News. “People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works.” The demonstrators, many whom have been arrested for trespassing and destruction of property, have trashed the small park once enjoyed by children near the financial center. Vice President Biden called those destroying property and blocking traffic an “answer to the Tea Party”. Big union bosses have now stepped forward as well, in support of a class war. What do the demonstrators “occupying” Wall Street believe? Signs at their make shift camp where they urinate on the trees they claim to love, read: “Eat the Rich” “Kill Corporations” and “Redistribute the Wealth.” Others flat out say “Down with Capitalism.” Many of the signs are so vulgar and violent that they are nor shown in TV reports or seen in newspapers.

These radicals, mostly anarchists with violent tendencies, are called allies by the Obama-Biden Administration and the big union bosses. Welcome to a state of class warfare.

WHAT THE PRESIDENTIAL CHALLENGERS BELIEVE – Over the years I have had the privilege to work on various projects with some of the current Republican candidates for President and I have met and talked to most of them more than once. Just before she announced her run for the presidency I was one of just eight conservative leaders who had lunch with Michele Bachmann at the Capitol Hill club in Washington, DC.


Santorum and Murray

What kind of people are the Republican candidates and how do they differ from Obama? Back in the late 1990’s, then Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared at several press conferences held by the Religious Freedom Coalition in support of a Religious Freedom Amendment to the Constitution that would allow kids and teachers to pray in school. One rather famous photo shows me speaking at a podium with the entire House leadership of Newt Gingrich, Dick Armey and Tom DeLay standing behind me. Although he never commented on Islam during the George W. Bush presidency, once Obama was sworn in Gingrich made numerous statements and produced documentaries on Islamic oppression.

Over a period of many years Senator Rick Santorum ran a separate International Religious Freedom Caucus in the Senate. He held monthly meetings with organizations such as the Religious Freedom Coalition not only to discuss, but to take action against the persecution of religious minorities, not just in the Middle East, but in China and Vietnam as well. In July of 2006 I was with Senator Santorum at a press conference at the Press Club in Washington, DC when he was the first seated politician to use the phrase “Islamic fascism,” much to the disdain of the White House. Far from backing down, at a later meeting at the White House with Senators he held a copy of the speech up in the air and asked President George W. Bush to read it.

Rick Santorum is a conservative, believing Catholic. He and his wife Karen, who is a nurse, have seven living children. On November 12, 2004, Rick and Karen were invested as Knight and Dame of Magistral Grace of the Knights of Malta in a ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City. Only the most conservative of Catholics would receive such an honor. During conversations with the couple at a meeting here in Washington, DC, Karen told me that her only disagreement ever with her husband was when he backed liberal Republican Senator Arlen Specter for reelection. She is definitely no Laura Bush.

I have known Herman Cain for many years and back in 2004 my political action committee, Government Is Not God, supported his Senate campaign because of his outspoken support of social conservative causes. Recently he told the Values Voter Summit, “I am 100 % pro-life from the hour of conception.” Herman Cain is not just a businessman. He worked for six years in the Department of the Navy and has made it clear he is opposed to homosexuals serving openly in the military. Cain stands with social conservatives on virtually every issue. In my presence, in meetings he has called Islamists an existential threat to America.

The views of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann were well known before she declared for the presidency. During a recent conversation, Michele Bachman told me, “I thought I was a Christian because I was born into a Lutheran family. As a teenager I heard the Gospel with two girlfriends at an evangelical church and I made the decision to abandon myself for Jesus.” Several times during the conversation Michele used the term “abandoned myself” to describe her conversion experience.
In small group discussions I have been in with Michele Bachmann, she has convinced me that she understands the threat of Islamic domination of the world. This month I met her husband Marcus for the first time. He is a Christian psychologist whose office is surrounded by homosexual demonstrators virtually every week because he accepts patients who don’t want to be “gay” any more.

I have met Congressman Ron Paul numerous times and he is a true libertarian. Unfortunately libertarians like Ron Paul agree more often with Barack Obama on social issues than with me. He sees absolutely no need for the United States to assist persecuted Christians. He believes that sales of drugs, including heroin, and the sale of one’s body for use in prostitution should be up to each state. Because of his position on same-sex marriage he has been endorsed by the “conservative” gay political action committee Log Cabin Republicans.
While I met briefly with Rick Perry when he was Lieutenant Governor of Texas, I have never had an in depth conversation with him to try to discern his sincerity. I have never met with Governor Romney as we do not travel, shall we say, in the same circles. My purpose here is to talk about those I know personally and to try to convey the difference between them and President Barack Obama.

The four Republicans I have met and interacted the most with — Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum — have profound differences with President Barack Obama. In conclusion, none of these four support the radical class war demonstrations across the nation that are supported by Barack Obama, the Democratic Party and the major labor unions. In fact, none of the Republican candidates support the anarchist demonstrators.

THE CONGRESS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND TERROR

CONGRESSMAN EXPOSES GROVER NORQUIST - In a speech on October 4th, Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA) expressed concern about celebrated economic conservative figure Grover Norquist and his influence on the political process in Washington. Wolf questioned his association with several individuals, groups and causes many would consider unsavory. Wolf pointed to Norquist’s relationship with convicted felon Jack Abramoff and terrorist financiers Abdurahman Alamoudi and Sami Al-Arian. He also raised the issue of Norquist’s advocacy of moving Guantanamo Bay detainees to the United States, including 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed. Norquist’s representation of the Internet gambling industry and Fannie Mae as a consultant was also questioned by Wolf. Although Grover Norquist’s association with radical Muslims and other questionable characters has been discussed online, this is the first time the evidence has been detailed by a congressman.

Just one week prior to Wolf’s statement, investigative journalist Ken Timmerman wrote a scathing article for Front Page Magazine that discussed Norquist’s support of “open borders,” and also his support for letting the gay group “Log Cabin Republicans” join the Conservative Political Action Conference, which drove away many social conservatives. Besides championing the Ground Zero mosque, Timmerman wrote that Norquist supports a Muslim candidate for public office in Virginia who has changed his first name from Imad Afif to David. Timmerman detailed Grover Norquist’s influence on behalf of Muslim causes in the George W. Bush White House and throughout the conservative movement in Washington, DC. Reports indicate that the phrases “religion of peace” and “hijacked religion” were coined in Norquist’s office shortly after the 9-11 jihad attack.

CULTURE AND RELIGION

JOURNALISM SCHOOL: 9-11 JIHAD NOT A BIG DEAL – Why is it that I am not surprised by this story at all? Professors Lawrence Pintak and Stephen Franklin, in a journalism course at Poynter Institute, said that the almost 3,000 victims who died in the 9-11 Jihad attack represented a small percentage of the 15,000 people murdered in America that year, and that worldwide jihad accounts for “only” one percent of murders each year, and thus jihad should be downplayed in any news story. Wow, and I thought that mass murder was always big news. The problem is that these are not just two nutty professors. The Poynter Institute is a leading school of journalism that trains many members of the media.

PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS – In the Presidency section of the Chairman’s Report I covered the events in Egypt. Since the fall of the secular government of Hosni Mubarak the situation for Christians in Egypt has continued to decline. Churches that have been repaired have been burned to the ground because of Sharia law. Under Sharia, Christians and Jews are Dhimmi. They are allowed to keep existing houses of worship, but may not repair them or build new ones. That is Sharia and you can expect it to be practiced soon in Dearborn, Michigan, where Muslims have apparently now reached a majority.

SHARIA FOR FRANCE - France’s decrepit city suburbs are becoming ‘separate Islamic societies’ cut off from the state, according to a major new study that examines the spread of Islam in France. Muslim immigrants are increasingly rejecting French values and identity and instead are immersing themselves in Islam, according to the report, which also warns that Islamic Sharia law is rapidly displacing French civil law in many parts of suburban Paris. The 2,200-page report, “Banlieue de la République” (Suburbs of the Republic), is the result of a one-year research effort into the four “i’s” that comprise the heart of the debate over French national identity: Islam, immigration, identity and insecurity.

CAIN, BAUCHMANN AND SANTORUM - Any of the above will do. That was the message to three of the GOP contenders who spoke at the Values Voter Summitc this weekend. All three were interrupted by applause over and over again as they spoke on Friday. While Herman Cain was the star of the show with the most media coverage, both Bachmann and Santorum did well. Response to Gov. Rick Perry was muted and Ron Paul's libertaran views unappreciated.
RON PAUL WINS VALUES VOTERS POLL? - Well, not really. Ron Paul did top the list with 37% but Slate reported that one of his wealthy donors from Texas arranged to pay for 700 tickets. Ron Paul supporters showed up for his speech, voted in the straw poll and left. His actually vote count was 732 of nearly 2,000 cast. The real winner was Herman Cain with 23% and former Senator Rick Santorum with 16%. Receiving double the number of votes that Michele Bachmann received was a huge boost for the Santorum campaign. Michele secured first place in the Vice Presidential straw poll.

RUBIO BLASTS IRAN ON PASTOR DEATH SENTENCE - Senator Marco Rubio took to the floor of the United States Senate this week to blast the government of Iran for the death sentence handed to Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani in Iran. Detailing the charges and evidence in this horrific case, he pointed out that Nadarkhani's only real crime was converting from Islam at age 19 and for that he will be killed. Watch on Youtube!

CONGRESSMAN FORBES ON IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER - Congressman Forbes, on behalf of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, gave a speech on the House floor today to note the importance of prayer in our nation's founding and subsequent history. He read portions of a proclamation issued by John Hancock as Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. PRESIDENCY

CROSSING THE RUBICON - This week two very bad men, terrorists Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan, were killed by missiles fired from a CIA operated Predator drone in Yemen. Both were natural born U.S citizens, which poses a question. What safeguards exist when the man setting the guidelines is the man issuing the death warrants? The answer of course is that there are none. Because they are U.S citizens, both men should have been tried for treason in abstensia before a military tribunal. The death sentence should have then been given to the Commander in Chief to carry out. A record would then exist to justify the executions. Rather than that process, we have one single sheet of paper signed by Barack Obama saying, "Kill these guys." The lack of visible process concerns me.
SHOCKER: OBAMA DEFENDS A CHRISTIAN PASTOR - After three years of overtly supporting radical Muslims in the Middle East, President Barack Obama has finally taken a stand in support of a persecuted Christian. This week he belatedly joined other world leaders in condemning the conviction and prescribed execution of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani who refused to renounce his faith before an Iranian Court. THE CONGRESS

USCIRF AUTHORIZATION EXTENDED - For several weeks I have been urging readers to contact Senators to urge them to pass legislation, already passed in the House, to extend the life of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). On September 28th, Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid finally relented and funding was extended. The USCIRF is a valuable tool to those promoting religious freedom because it issues official reports about the abuses of religious minorities in Communist and Islamic nations.

JOURNALISM SCHOOL: 9-11 JIHAD NOT A BIG DEAL - Professors Lawrence Pintak and Stephen Franklin, in a journalism course at Poynter Institute, said that the almost 3,000 who died in the 9-11 Jihad attack represented a small percentage of the 15,000 people murdered in America that year, and that worldwide jihad accounts for "only" one percent of murders each year, and thus jihad should be downplayed in any news story. THE TAX MAN'S JIHAD - Grover Norquist frequently makes the news as "the conservative" who leads the fight against higher taxes. Seldom or never is it mentioned that he also supports "open borders," that he supported the gay group "Log Cabin Republicans" joining the Conservative Action Conference (which drove away social conservatives), or that he supports the Ground Zero mosque. Now Norguist is supporting a Muslim candidate for public office in Virginia who has changed his first name from Imad Afif to David. The candidate refers to"God" and supports the Ground Zero mosque. SPELLING ERROR BRINGS BLASPHEMY CHARGE - Abbottabad (AsiaNews) - A spelling error has led to an accusation of blasphemy, and to serious consequences for a 10-year-old Christian girl and her family in Abbottabad. Faryal Bhatti, the daughter of a nurse named Sarafeen Bhatti, is a student at Colony High School, Havelian POF. On September 22, during an examination she misspelled a word in Urdu, putting the full top in the wrong place. Thus the word, referring to the prophet Muhammad, was transformed from "poem of praise" (naat) to "curse (lanaat). She has been expelled from school and her mother has lost her job as a nurse. IRAN TARGETING EVANGELICALS - Iranian police have been targeting EvangelicaIism according to an AINA report: In December 2010 and January 2011, security forces arrested about 70 Christians reportedly affiliated with evangelical churches. On July 18, 2010, security forces had arrested 15 Christians in Mashad as they were leaving for a meeting with fellow members in the city of Bojnourd. Authorities rarely charge evangelical Christians with apostasy, and instead rely on more traditional charges such as "acting against the national security," "propaganda against the regime," or "insulting Islamic sanctities." Christian groups claim that authorities have arrested more than 250 Christians throughout Iran between June 2010 and February 2011. Read more
MORE MUSLIM TERROR IN THAILAND - Muslim insurgents disguised as paramilitary rangers attacked troops protecting a school in southern Thailand on Wednesday, killing four soldiers and wounding two more, police said. A 6-year-old boy was shot in the stomach during the assault. A wave of violence has hit the Muslim-dominated southernmost provinces of mostly Buddhist Thailand since an Islamist insurgency erupted in 2004. Government soldiers are often designated to accompany teachers traveling to and from schools in region, as well as monks collecting alms. Read more

THE PRESIDENT, ISRAEL AND GAYS?- And I thought Fidel Castro had long rambling speeches! During his address to the United Nations this week I got lost someplace between President Obama calling for an Islamic state in Samaria and this: "No country should deny people their rights because of who they love, which is why we must stand up for the rights of gays and lesbians everywhere." The remark had one goal, to raise money from homosexuals for his 2012 campaign.

OBAMA AND THE PALESTINIAN STATE - Last year President Obama demanded that Israel return to the "67" borders and promised Palestinians everything they had ever demanded. After telling Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in advance that all his demands would be met, the President can't figure out why Abbas will no longer negotiate with Israel and instead demands a seat at the UN.

NETANYAHU RESPONDS - Prime Minister Netanyahu's response to Mahmoud Abbas' viral anti-Israeli speech was logical and balanced: '"I came here to speak the truth. The truth is that Israel wants peace. The truth is that I want peace. The truth is that Israel wants peace with the Palestinians, but they want a state without peace, and the truth is you shouldn't let that happen," he said. "The Palestinians should first make peace with Israel and then get their state. After peace is signed, Israel won't be the last country to accept a Palestinian state - we will be the first." SHOVEL READY? - I don't normally work on economic issues on Capitol Hill, but l must attend meetings where these issues are discussed. At a recent event someone handed out a summary of the Stimulus Bill included "shovel ready" spending on our highways. Of the $825 billion spent, just $27.5 billion, or less than 3%, was spent on roads and bridges. Where did the rest go? There were 3,545 "green jobs" created at a cost of $4.83 million each. There were 1,100 of those jobs lost when Solyndra went belly up.

THE CONGRESS

U.S. COMMISSION ON INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM COULD SHUT DOWN - The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, an independent government watchdog for abuses of religious freedom abroad, may cease to exist if the Senate doesn't act over the weekend to reauthorize it. Congress leaves soon for a week long recess and the commission will shut down Sept. 30 without Senate reauthorization. One Democratic senator is apparently holding up the reauthorization, according to several sources. An extension has passed the House but Senate action is needed. Contact your Senators now!

GAY AGENDA: FROM WHITE HOUSE TO SCHOOL HOUSE - This past Tuesday, high school freshman Dakota Ary was given in-school suspension for stating in class that he believes homosexuality is wrong because of his Christian faith. Liberty Counsel is representing Dakota in this case, demanding full vindication and a full retraction of the suspension. If the school board does not comply, a lawsuit will be filed for violation of Dakota's First Amendment rights. Read more

MUSLIMS CAN VETO TAXI CAB ADS - Christians and Jews driving cabs in New York for years complained about vile advertisements on the tops of their cars for strip clubs. The Taxi Commission in New York City said the ads were up to the owner of the taxi medallion, not the driver or car owner. Then the Muslims complained and the rules were changed. The medallion owners must now get driver or owner approval of ads. Point: While Muslims make up less than one percent of New York's population, laws are frequently changed to accommodate them.

DANISH MEGA-MOSQUE - The city council of Copenhagen has given its final approval for the construction of the first official "Grand Mosque" in the Danish capital. The mega-mosque will have a massive blue dome as well as two towering minarets and is architecturally designed to stand out on Copenhagen's low-rise skyline. Read more
NO AID FOR CHRISTIAN OR HINDU FLOOD VICTIMS - Christian and Hindu flood victims are being denied aid by the Pakistani government and Muslim organizations, charges Father Mario Rodrigues, national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies. "The only channel to get humanitarian aid to displaced people belonging to religious minorities, Christians and Hindus, is Caritas [the Church's charitable agency] " he told the Fides news agency. The US government gives Pakistan billions of dollars a year in aid. Read more
AT LEAST 110 MORE CHRISTIANS DEAD IN JOS - A rash of attacks by armed Muslim extremists on villages in Nigeria's Plateau state in the past month have left more than 100 Christians dead, including the elimination of entire families. In a guerrilla-type "hit and run" attack on the Christian community of Vwang Kogot, Muslim attackers at about 8 p.m. on Sept. 9 killed 14 Christians, including a pregnant woman. Read more

THE PRESIDENT AT GROUND ZERO - No clergy were allowed at the official Ground Zero memorial service on September 11th, but President Barack Obama read a part of the 46th Psalm, the same Psalm he referred to in Arizona after the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords. The same secularist news media who attacked Gov. Rick Perry for appearing at a public prayer meeting in Texas had not a critical word for Obama's Bible reading in public. But then, maybe they had the inside word that it was an election year gimmick.
OBAMA'S ARAB SPRING - The new leader of Libya declared this week that the new government birthed by President Barack Obama and European leaders would have sharia law. Mustafa Abdel Jalil said, "We seek a state of law, prosperity and one where Sharia is the main source for legislation, and this requires many things and conditions." Just a few days later in Cairo the Israeli embassy was invaded by jihadists as Egyptian police looked the other way. The situation was so dire that Prime Minister Netanyahu called President Obama asking him to talk the Egyptians into protecting the embassy staff, which the Egyptians begrudgingly did. Barack Obama's plan for the Middle East appears to be surrounding Israel with even more hostile enemies than it already has.

THE CONGRESS

U.S. COMMISSION ON INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM COULD SHUT DOWN - Ten years ago the Religious Freedom Coalition worked to pass H.R. 1856, the International Religious Freedom Act which created the United States Commission on Religious Freedom (USCIRF). The bill had a ten year sunset, which means the commission's time will expire unless there is a reauthorization. Congressman Frank Wolf, along with Foreign Affairs Chairman Ros-Lehtinen and Ranking Member Berman, introduced a bill focusing solely on the reauthorization and reform of USCIRF. The bill passed this week, but now faces a Senate vote. Please ask your Senators to extend the life of the commission.

SAUDI TEXTBOOKS STILL TEACH HATE - Saudi Arabia, home to 15 of the 19 terrorist hijackers of 9/11, continues to promote a violent form of Islam through its school system and textbooks, ten years after the attacks. The texts continue to teach students that "the Jews and the Christians are enemies" of Muslims and that Jews are "apes" and Christians are "swine." Read more CHURCHES AIDING MOSQUE WITH TERROR HISTORY - Christian houses of worship are lending their parking lots to a radical Washington-area mosque that aided some of the hijackers who attacked the Pentagon on Sept. 11, despite warnings from FBI agents and local anti-jihad watch groups that such brotherly outreach is only helping the Islamic center expand and potentially attract future terrorists. A TRUTHFUL GROUND ZERO RALLY - A rally was held near Ground Zero and sponsored by Pamela Geller's Stop the Islamization of America, as a reminder that 9-11 was not just about the victims but also about remembering who attacked us. The rally was a great success. The crowd filled two city blocks, and many brought flags and banners. Speakers included family members of those who died in the 9-11 jihad attack against our nation. Leaders from groups fighting the advance of sharia law in their own nations spoke as well. It was an honor for me to open the event with an invocation.

HOW MUSLIMS VIEW 9-11 - Muslim demonstrators burned an American flag outside the U.S. embassy in London during a moment of silence to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 jihad attack . Screaming "USA - terrorist state!" Muslims denounced the USA and carried anti-American banners. London police allowed the burning of the American flag but broke up a counter demonstration of pro-American Brits who had brought flowers to the embassy. Story and video
ATTACK IN PHILIPPINES AVERTED - The Philippines National Police uncovered a plan by Islamic militants to blow up Catholic churches in Cotabato City. Regional police linked the attackers to Al Qaeda who were planning to plant three bombs in Catholic churches. In 2009, six people were killed and dozens wounded when a bomb went off outside Immaculate Conception Cathedral in the same city.
ATTACKS IN THAILAND ALMOST DAILY - Muslims demanding a separate Islamic republic under sharia law in Thailand are attacking innocent civilians almost daily. This week two Buddhist monks have been murdered. Yesterday five soldiers died when their truck was bombed in southern Thailand.

PRESIDENCY

THE PRESIDENT ON 9-11 - President Obama will attend a service Sunday morning with a Catholic priest, a rabbi and an imam. No evangelical pastors will be permitted to participate. The event has been moved from the National Cathedral because a series of acts of God, an earthquake and floods, have rendered the main sanctuary unusable. The service will now be held at the Kennedy Center and the imam will, of course, pray in Arabic.
THE PRESIDENT IN NEW YORK - President Obama will fly to New York to speak at an event only for "family members" of those killed on 9-11. First responders and those injured that day are not welcome. The restrictions are not new. Ten years ago officials in New York made the decision to make sure that events commemorating the "terrorist attack" would diminish over the years as family members aged.

THE CONGRESS

PETER KING FINDS NEW 9-11 LINK - Congressman Peter King (R-NY), in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, said investigators believe it is no coincidence that Anwar al-Awlaki had contact with three of the five hijackers who flew a plane into the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001. The House Homeland Security Committee is investigating to determine "to what extent Anwar al-Awlaki wittingly or unwittingly facilitated the plot of the 9/11 hijackers." After the attacks, Al-Awlaki was invited to speak at a Pentagon lunch and was also invited by Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison to speak on Capitol Hill. SEPTEMBER JIHAD ATTACKS - As of noon today (9/9/11) there have been twenty (20) Islamic terror attacks on innocent civilians in September. On the 7th a suicide bomber killed 13 and wounded 89 in front of a court house in New Delhi, India. Early today a father and his seven young children were hacked to death when Muslims attacked their home in Barkin Ladi, Nigeria. Christians and Hindus are not the only victims. Several attacks have killed Buddhists in Thailand so far this month.
TERROR NOT THE FULL STORY - Although thousands of innocent people are killed in Islamic terror attacks, many more die at the hands of Islamic sharia law. In Iran this past week three men were publicly hanged for homosexuality, as it is forbidden by sharia. In Islamic controlled northern Nigeria, two men had their hands cut off at their wrists for stealing a bull. Many women were murdered by their Muslim fathers this week for family "honor." A woman in Jordan was shot dead by her father in the hospital shortly after she gave birth to twins. Her crime was not being married.
MORE "ARAB SPRING" FOR 9-11 - Christians in the Upper Egyptian village of Elmarinab in Edfu, Aswan province, have been forbidden to leave their homes or buy food until they remove the dome of St. George's Church, which was rebuilt in its previous location. Village Muslims, backed by Muslim Salafists from neighboring villages, have threatened to demolish the church today (September 9th) after their Friday prayers and use it as a mosque. Read more

Remembering September 11th

I was on I-395 approaching the 14th Street bridge at the moment Islamic terrorists flew hijacked American Airlines 77 into the Pentagon. At the time I was literally on the phone with an assistant to President Bush talking about the jihad attack in New York City. I had been headed to a press conference in support of the Sudan Peace Act that the White House opposed. The Sudan Peace Act would have punished the Islamic Sudanese government economically for murdering for the continued persecution and mass murder of Christians in the South Sudan. This video contains my remarks at a church service on the first anniversary of of the jihad attack of September 11th against the United States.

OBAMA'S BLIND SPOT - When Libya's Moammar Gadhafi tried to put down an uprising of Muslim extremists, President Barack Obama rushed in to bomb the presidential palace in Tripoli. In Egypt, the Obama Administration made it clear to President Mubarak that he must leave power or see the wrath of the United States after he ordered the killing of some Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators. Yet, every single day, Christians are arrested, tortured and killed by Muslim extremist governments and Obama says nothing. Currently the Administration is working to overthrow the last secular nation in the Middle East -- Syria, the only nation in which Christians can still safely live. JOBS, JOBS, JOBS FOR SAUDI ARABIA- The very day President Obama announced he would speak to the nation on job creation, his Administration announced regulations that would kill jobs and increase dependence on Islamic nations for energy. As a result of the regulations coal mines will close, older oil refineries will close, and an additional $7 billion a year will be spent by businesses on more regulation. Corporations must recover the money someplace, and that means fewer jobs, Meanwhile the Administration has shut down "until further notice" the North Anna Nuclear Power Plant in Virginia, which was not damaged during the earthquake in August. It will probably never reopen, causing even more oil to be imported.

Wayne Bell, the publisher of Really Big Coloring Books, Inc., says there's been a negative backlash against the book "We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids' Book of Freedom." "These are people from Al-Jazeera that have called in here numerous times, people from Iranian TV, people from Palestinian Hamas TV," Bell said, "A lot of people from the Islamic community have called in here and said increasingly negative things prior to the book being made and then after we made the book too, about the book itself." NLRB: CHURCH SCHOOL NOT RELIGIOUS ENOUGH - St. Xavier University was founded in 1846, and is the oldest Catholic school in Illinois. Its corporate member is a Catholic body with the "powers for the governance of" St. Xavier, that "links the University to the [Catholic] Church and makes it an officially recognized member of the Church." St. Xavier's Board of Trustees must have at least four nuns from the order that founded the school, and, according to its bylaws, its governing body must "ensure [St. Xavier] continues its educational and religious mission." CHRISTIAN CONVERTS FLEE ASYLUM CENTER - At the center for asylum seekers in Jaern, Norway, where a Christian convert last week was attacked with boiling water, four other Christians have fled the center because of threats. Muslims at the asylum center told Christians, "This is Jihad, holy war, and we are waiting for at fatwa (license to kill) from the local imam at the mosque in Sandnes." One young man going by the name of "Arsland" told the newspaper Dagen, "I had to escape and flee the asylum reception center in fear for my life. Obama is granting refugee status to tens of thousands of Somali Muslims while his Administration closes the door to persecuted Christians in the Middle East. The dumping of Muslim refugees in Bible Belt areas is a planned action of the Obama Administration to subvert evangelical Christians whom he sees as his enemy.
OBAMA'S AIRPORT SECURITY - This month a federal audit revealed that the TSA can't guarantee that agents working in "secure" areas of airports don't pose a risk. That's because the agency doesn't always verify the identity of job applicants or even their legal status against a government immigration database. The TSA can't account for agency employees with access to secure areas of airports, according to a Homeland Security Inspector General. The TSA in many cases does not know the nationality or status in the United States of the agents it has guarding the nation's airports. Many are illegal aliens, some from nations with strong terror links. These are the same people running their hands over the private parts of young children and elderly women.

TEACHER OF YEAR BACK IN SCHOOL - A follow up from last week: Jerry Buell has been reinstated as a teacher after the Lake County School Board was forced to recognize that the existence of the First Amendment to the Constitution protects free speech. Buell was suspended for saying on his personal Facebook page that he did not approve of same-sex marriage. Harry Mihet, Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel which represented Buell said: "By fully exonerating Mr. Buell, the Lake County School Board has reaffirmed what the rest of Americans already knew. The First Amendment protects the right of public servants to express their personal opinion without any fear or intimidation. It is a shame that Mr. Buell had to miss three days of teaching for his employer to learn this lesson."

TEACHER FACES PUNISHMENT FOR SHOWING TOOLS - The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a Chicago public school teacher who is being charged with possessing, carrying, storing or using a weapon after showing wrenches, pliers and screwdrivers in his classroom as part of his second grade teaching curriculum that required a "tool discussion". Doug Bartlett, a 17-year veteran in the classroom, was told that his use of the tools as visual aids endangered his students. Bartlett now faces disciplinary action and possible termination. Rutherford Institute attorneys are demanding that the school halt the disciplinary proceedings against Bartlett.

ANOTHER MOSQUE MAN ASSOCIATED WITH FRAUD - Allstate Insurance is suing Hisham Elzanaty, the Ground Zero Mosque's top financial backer, for running a "highly developed and sophisticated kickback scheme." He is alleged to have fraudulently set up medical facilities, despite not being a licensed professional. He then presented Allstate Insurance with inflated medical bills and engaged in illegal fee-splitting arrangements, it is claimed. He is being sued by Allstate for $5.1 million. Read more

UN BUILDING IN NIGERIA BOMBED - The body count is not firm yet for the Ramadan bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Nigeria. The only thing known for sure is that it was a Muslim suicide bomber driving a white car. So far 18 bodies have been found. The Boko Haram is responsible. Although this group kills Christians virtually every week it is never mentioned in the mainstream American media, but the attack on the UN is front page news at the New York Times. The message is clear from the media: When Christians are murdered by Muslims it is not news worthy.
SHARIA FOR THE NEW LIBYA - Once again the United States has assisted in the establishment of a nation ruled by Islamic law (sharia). The Turkish Weekly published the draft of the new Libyan constitution it had obtained. Part 1, Article 1 states: "Libya is an independent democratic state wherein the people are the source of authorities. The city of Tripoli shall be the capital of the state. Islam is the religion of the state and the principal source of legislation is Islamic jurisprudence (sharia)." The trend started when President Jimmy Carter handed over Iran to the Ayatollah Khomeini.

PETER KING FINDS NEW 9/11 LINK - Congressman Peter King (R-NY), in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, said investigators believe it is no coincidence that Anwar al-Awlaki had contact with three of the five hijackers who flew a plane into the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001. The House Homeland Security Committee is investigating to determine "to what extent Anwar al-Awlaki wittingly or unwittingly facilitated the plot of the 9/11 hijackers." After the attacks, Al-Awlaki was invited to speak at a Pentagon lunch and was also invited by Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison to speak on Capitol Hill. TEACHER OF THE YEAR SUSPENDED - Mount Dora, FL - Jerry Buell, last year's "Teacher of the Year" at Mount Dora High School, has been suspended from the classroom for a comment he made on his own personal Facebook page, expressing his disapproval of legalized same-sex marriage in New York. School officials received a complaint about Buell's comment on Tuesday from a 2002 Mount Dora graduate who was never even in Mr. Buell's class. The Lake County School District responded by taking away Buell's teaching privileges and reassigning him to administrative duties. Liberty Counsel is representing Buell and demanding that he be immediately reinstated with an apology for violating his First Amendment rights.

THE LONDON RIOTS - The smoke had hardly cleared away in the affected areas before the analyses began to roll out. Prime Minister David Cameron, on vacation when the riots began, pointed his finger not at poverty, but at "moral collapse." In an address, he blamed: "Irresponsibility. Selfishness. Behaving as if your choices have no consequences. Children without fathers. Schools without discipline. Reward without effort. Crime without punishment. Rights without responsibilities." Read more
ATTACK IN ISRAEL - Eight Israelis were killed in coordinated attacks that targeted civilians traveling along a highway near the Egyptian border on Thursday. This was the worst attack inside of Israel in several years. Of the 20 or so Muslim terrorists who attacked, just seven were killed and the rest escaped. The original targets were, of course, civilian buses. Since that attack more than 20 missiles have also been fired into Israel. The eight dead are listed among the 433 killed in Islamic terror attacks since the beginning of Ramadan.

PRESIDENCY
TEA PARTY DOWNGRADE? - The message from the White House was mixed over the S&P downgrade of the nation's credit rating. The two main talking points are at odds. Talking point one: This does not really matter; it does not affect the nation's ability to sell bonds. Talking point two: The "Tea party downgrade" is catastrophic for the nation. In other words, Obama's position is that the downgrade doesn't much matter unless we can blame it on the Tea Party.

MARKET VOLATILITY - The failure of President Obama to make any statement for several days after the S&P downgrade of U.S. Treasuries caused some serious volatility in the markets. This volatility was not caused by the actual downgrade, but by the uncertainty as to the reaction of our government. Finally Chairman Bernanke calmed markets by promising that the Federal Reserve would continue to lend money to major banks at 0% interest rates at least until March, 2013, well after the next presidential election. This proved that the market slide had less to do with the downgrade than with the deteriorating financial situation in the West. All of Western Europe and the United States have been floating giant entitlement programs and free medical care with borrowed money. Much of that borrowed money was just flat out printed. There is not enough real money in the entire world to pay back what Europe and the USA owe.

PUBLIC EXPRESSION OF RELIGION - During August your congressman will be working at his district office in your state. Please contact him there and ask him to support H.R. 2023, Public Expression of Religion Act. The bill would modify the law so each side pays its own attorneys' fees in cases when groups such as the ALCU sue school districts, counties and cities to force an atheistic agenda on them. SEIU DISPLAYS COMMUNIST LINKS - The 2011 May Day parade in Los Angeles featured all the pro-Obama groups, including the Service Employees International Union which gave him $28 million in the last election as well as the Communist Party. THE LONDON RIOTS - The London riots, which have spread to other cities in the U.K., are actually Twitter driven events. Under employed or unemployed young men are using Twitter and other social media to arrange mobs to sack stores. The core reason for the looting and violence is the cutoff of much of the money the U.K. handed out for decades for unemployment and social services. Now nearly broke and with bond sales nearly failing last year, the government has made huge cuts in entitlement spending. Similar mob violence and looting has occurred in Greece. The demonstrations and riots that led to the fall of the Egyptian government this year had far less to do with democracy than with the rise of food and fuel costs when that government lowered subsidies. The problem is simply this: World governments can no longer afford to borrow money to supply cradle to grave services to residents.

DEBT NOW 100% OF GDP - President Obama demanded and got lots more borrowed money to spend. Now, as a result of the debt ceiling increase signed into law by President Obama, the United States has joined a handful of nations whose debt is greater that their entire economic output. The small club of nations owing 100% of more of GDP, which the USA now belongs to includes: Japan (229 percent), Greece (152 percent), Jamaica (137 percent), Lebanon (134 percent), Italy (120 percent), Ireland (114 percent) and Iceland (103 percent), according to the International Monetary Fund.

THE BIRTHDAY BASH - On Wednesday President Obama turned 50 years old and celebrated with a ride on Air Force One to Chicago where a party was held in a room that rents for $44,000 a night. Guests had to pay about $38,500 each to attend, and even more for a private get-together after the main party.

BARACK IN A HARD PLACE - In the seven months leading up to the deadline for the U.S. debt ceiling, not once did President Barack Obama or anyone on his staff propose a plan to deal with the impending disaster of a default by the government. His only participation was to reject all plans that did not significantly raise taxes. As nations such as China were discussing dumping U.S bonds, President Barack Obama was busy pandering to the homosexual lobby which donates heavily to his campaign for reelection. Finally Speaker John Boehner walked out of talks with Obama saying the President "would not take yes for an answer." The Speaker and liberal Senator Harry Reid then negotiated an agreement. Americans watched and understood the lack of leadership, as Obama's favorability ratings dropped to their lowest ever.
THE VICE PRESIDENT -GASP! - Early this week Vice President Biden referred to members of the Tea Party as "terrorists." Perhaps this is why he needs the extra layer of protection of renting a property he owns to the Secret Service agents who protect his life. The Washington Times reported that Biden so far has charged the Secret Service more than $13,000 just this year. Under a contract, the Secret Service will pay the Vice President a total of $66,000 by the end of 2013. The property in question is a cottage next to his waterfront home outside Wilmington, Delaware.

FED SPENDING NOW OVER $30K PER HOUSEHOLD - The federal government is spending more per household than ever before. Since 1965, spending per household has grown by nearly 162%, from $11,431 in 1965 to $29,401 in 2010. From 2010 to 2021, it is projected to rise to $35,773, a 22% increase. (Click on chart for breakdown). While a debt ceiling framework passed the House this week, Congressman Randy Forbes says, "We have a lot of work to do to help America dig out of our fiscal sinkhole, including pursuing entitlement reform and passing a Balanced Budget Amendment." Forbes voted against the bill raising the debt ceiling.

PROTECTING RELIGIOUS MINORITIES - On July 29th, 2011 the House passed bipartisan legislation sponsored by Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) to create a special envoy at the U.S. State Department for religious minorities in the Near East and South Central Asia. The legislation was introduced in January in the wake of increasing violence, targeted attacks and heightened discrimination against Christians in Iraq and Egypt, and persistent concerns in Afghanistan and Pakistan, among other nations. The bill was sent to the Senate where it must be approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chaired by John Kerry (MA) and Ranking Member Richard Lugar (IN). Please contact these Senators!

This church was crushed when one of the World Trade Center towers fell on it during the jihad attack on September 11th. BLOOMBERG'S MOSQUE AND SAME-SEX NUPTIALS - Muslims hang homosexuals in Iran and in other Islamic nations. Posters have appeared all over London threatening homosexuals. BUT ... New York's Mayor Bloomberg sees no contradiction in supporting both gays and Islam. The mayor not only advocates building a large mosque right on Ground Zero, but he has been photographed kneeling on a prayer rug in another New York City mosque. Yet this past Sunday he proudly officiated over one of the first gay weddings in New York State, for two of his top aides. (I wonder if these are the guys working to have the mosque built at Ground Zero.) Bloomberg did not go so far as to proclaim them man and wife, but rather declared, "I pronounce you both married," thus proclaiming the "union" of has top aides, Jonathan Mintz and John Feinblatt.

A NEW VISION FOR GROUND ZERO MOSQUE - The Ground Zero mosque may not be what Mayor Bloomberg and city officials rushed to support. The developer, a 37 year old former waiter named Sharif El-Gamal, told The New York Times, "We're going back to basics." The building, he indicated, may be as small as four stories and may or may not have an actual mosque. Read more

China's Deadly Utopia

William J. Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition along with several congressmen and Senators spoke at an event on Capitol Hill highlighting the persecution of the Falun Gong and other religious minorities in China. Many speakers dealt with the repressive nature of the Chinese Communist Party, but Murray dealt with the core problem of central planning that has been the sources of repression and misery for humanity since the beginning of the 20^th Century. His remarks, “China: The Great Utopia” have since been requested by numerous news outlets and have already been televised worldwide. His remarks follow below:

As an introduction to his second chapter in The Road to Serfdom, Friedrich Hayek used a quote by Friedrich Holderlin to sum up collectivism: “What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.”

There are those who see our greatest challenge as the conflict between communist ideology and the free market place or between fascism and democracy, but these are but aspects of the one conflict that humanity faces: reality versus utopianism. During the 20^th Century, utopian dreams, unfortunately, became reality in the persons of Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, Adoph Hitler, and Moa Tse Tung. The result was the “state of hell” referred to by Holderlin. Governments seeking utopia on earth killed tens of millions of human beings in seventy some years of wars, gulags, starvation and mass killings.

While the utopia of Adolf Hitler’s “Thousand- Year Reich” ended in military defeat, and the Soviet “Workers’ Paradise” ended in humiliation for Russia, the dream of a centrally planned utopia lives on in China under the Chinese Communist Party. As in other centrally planned dictatorships, freedom is a casualty in China. Central planning of any kind requires silencing of critics and a control of the press and of speech to insure the continuation of “the plan.” For the level of control needed in China even the worship of God must be tightly directed. If not, “the plan” could perhaps be undermined, even destroyed by critical voices.

In China today there is only one political party, the party that is implementing “the plan” for the lives of the Chinese people. Unable to survive using the pure collectivist model of Karl Marx, the Communist Party has “evolved” to a National Socialism model similar to that of Adolph Hitler, using highly controlled free enterprise sectors to produce the tax base to continue its control.

There is no greater threat to that control than unregulated human faith, the faith represented by the Christian underground churches and the practitioners of Falun Gong. The Chinese Communist Party has used every kind of pressure against the Falun Gong including arrests, rapes, and murders and even forced abortions on Falun Gong women held in captivity. Utopianism requires a grand plan: A Germany without Jews, a Russia without the rich, a Cambodia without the educated, a Caliphate without Christians — or a China without Falun Gong or House Church critics of the Communist Party’s “plan” for the Chinese people.

20^th Century utopianism gave the world enough death and destruction to last humanity for 10,000 years. “The Plan” the Chinese Communist Party has for China will fail; it is inevitable. The day of that collapse will mark a new freedom for the repressed. It is the world’s responsibility to give the message to the Chinese communists that “the plan’ is an illusion and that freedom is inevitable regardless of their repression of their own people.

DOES OBAMA WANTS U.S. TO DEFAULT? - Speaker Boehner said it this way: "President Obama would not take 'yes' for answer." Every time a deal was near on the debt limit issue, Obama moved the goal posts. Why? He didn't want a deal. Obama knows under the current economic and social situation he cannot win re-election. He owns the bad economy. But, if he can create a crisis and blame Republicans he thinks he can win. Obama is willing to harm the economy even further by causing our nation to default, if he feels he can win votes as a result.

WE PAID THE TALIBAN - It is official. The Pentagon acknowledged that payments from a $2.6 billion dollar trucking contract were used as payoff money to the Taliban. With the U.S. funds, Afghan contractors paid local drivers, who in turn paid local security forces for safe passage. Just like in the old fashioned protection rackets in Chicago, the local "security" paid the Taliban to let the trucks through. Our brave men and women in uniform are fighting and dying for payoff rackets like this in Afghanistan to continue. Meanwhile, Christians in Afghanistan continue to be persecuted even worse than they are in Iraq.

THE CONGRESS

BOEHNER UNDER ATTACK - Many conservatives, particularly Tea Party backers, have settled on Speaker John Boehner as the villain rather than President Barack Obama. Wednesday I witnessed a Tea Party rally in which the Speaker was called just about everything but a human being. Do these "conservatives" want Nancy Pelosi back in charge? Do they want Obama for another four years? Do they want Harry Reid to continue to be in charge of the Senate? Why is all this money and energy being spent attacking Speaker Boehner instead of the real culprits who want to spend the nation into oblivion? There are lots of areas I disagree with Speaker Boehner on, but he is 90% on my side of the issues and I would rather have him than Nancy Pelosi who is not with me on issues even 1% of the time.
REPUBLICAN SUICIDE - Somehow the Republican Party has managed to seize defeat from the jaws of victory. On Capitol Hill this week I watched in slow motion as President Barack Obama surrendered to Republican leaders and walked away with his head down. Not knowing what to do with this victory on the budget, Republicans immediately began to attack each other.

RELIGION AND CULTURE

ATHEISTS SUE OVER GROUND ZERO CROSS - American Atheists filed a lawsuit this week to stop the display of the Ground Zero Cross stating that "no other religions or philosophies will be honored." The cross consists of two intersecting steel beams found intact in the rubble at Ground Zero. It was given a home at the Ground Zero site by the 9/11 Memorial Museum this week. The suit is meritless and a publicity stunt. The 9/11 Memorial Museum is a private non-profit organization with no affiliation with the government.

ANOTHER MUSLIM ATTACK ON FORT HOOD - This week local police, not the military, stopped a Muslim soldier from killing even more service men and women at Ft Hood. Far from investigating the Muslim soldier, the Army had given him "conscientious objector" status because he said he could not go to Afghanistan to fight Muslim terrorists. A gun shop owner notified the Killeen, Texas police of the Muslim's purchase of gun powder. Pfc. Naser Abdo, who was AWOL at the time, had weapons and bomb making materials in his motel room near Fort Hood when captured. The military actively recruits Muslims to prove its political correctness. The New York Times, which immediately claimed the bombing in Norway was a done by a Christian, has not as yet referred to Abdo as a Muslim, and probably never will.

NORWAY TERRORIST A CHRISTIAN? Not according to the mass killer himself. "As for the Church and science", he wrote, "it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings." Anders Behring Breivik also stated that he was a follower of Darwin and not of Jesus Christ. But the Washington Post and the New York Times proclaimed him a Christian the day of the attack. Why? On one of the 1,500 pages of his rambling "manifesto" he stated that like most Europeans he "could be considered a cultural Christian," in other words an atheist who is a cultural parasite.
MORE NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS BURIED - Members of a church in Suleja, Niger state, ended a week of fasting and prayer on Saturday with a service for three Christians killed in a bombing by the Boko Haram. The All Christian Fellowship Mission Church members were leaving a Sunday worship service, when a bomb exploded. This is the third time this year bombs have targeted the Christian area of Suleja, just outside the capital. Read more

OBAMA MOVES AGAINST FOX NEWS - Do CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and CNBC pay for news stories? Of course. Do they pay officials in other nations for news leaks? Of course they do. But the U.S. Justice Department is preparing subpoenas as part of preliminary investigations into News Corp, relating to alleged foreign bribery in the U.K. over a phone hacking scandal at one of the company's newspapers. The Obama Administration has ordered the DOJ to go after News Corp in hopes they can shut up Fox News, but Obama may have a problem: It is my understanding that Fox News is currently amassing information on bribes paid overseas for news by the other major networks.
OBAMA FINALLY TELLS THE TRUTH - When Obama ran for president in 2008 everyone knew he was lying when he claimed to support traditional marriage. Just as if we were living in the society ruled by Big Brother in the Orwellian novel 1984, we are now told by an Obama spokesman that Obama has always been against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and now supports legislation to end it. Ending DOMA would of course end the right of states to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages.
GAY LOVE IN THE TRENCHES - Under President Obama's direction, the new Pentagon chief Leon Panetta has decided to end the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military. He certified that repealing the gay prohibition will not hurt the military's ability to fight. With that certification from Panetta, President Obama officially lifted the ban today.

THE CONGRESS

FORCE OTHER NATIONS TO BE GAY FRIENDLY - Enslaving women is OK with Democrats; just don't mistreat gays. In a late night session at a marathon committee markup of H.R. 2583, the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Democrat Ranking Member, Howard Berman, offered an amendment that would have given the Secretary of State a directive to promote the LGBT agenda internationally. Although the amendment was defeated along party lines by Republicans, one question comes to mind: Why was their no reference to the rights of women or religious minorities in the amendment, only to gay rights? Answer: Although homosexuals are a very small minority, they give huge amounts of money to Democrat congressmen.

OSLO, NORWAY ATTACKED - The attack on government buildings in Oslo, Norway today highlighted the fear sweeping Europe as a result of the failed policy of massive immigration to foster "multiculturalism." Not only was a car bomb used to attack buildings, including the Prime Minister's office, but a youth camp was attacked by a gunman dressed as a policeman. As of this writing at least seven are dead and many more injured.

ISLAMIC EMIRATES OF BRITAIN? - Muslims now want to turn twelve British cities, one called "Londonistan," into independent autonomous enclaves ruled by Islamic Sharia law. Called the Islamic Emirates Project, it uses the motto "The end of man-made law, and the start of Sharia law." The U.K. is now 5% Muslim and the radicalism of Islam there has changed the face of that nation and has most of the population in a constant state of fear. A stunning article by Soeren Kern in Hudson New York exposes the U.K situation which is on its way to the USA.

NOT JUST THE MIDDLE EAST - In Xingjian, China, Muslim separatists chanting 'Allah is the only god," attacked a police station last week, hacking two officers to death. They then murdered a woman and a teenage girl in the name of Allah. Many more people were injured, and the Chinese military was called in to restore order. In the last two weeks Islamic terrorists have killed 12 and injured numerous others in Thailand. Most of those murdered were Buddhists.
ANOTHER CHRISTIAN DIES IN PAKISTAN JAIL - A man accused of blasphemy and said to be mentally challenged, died in Lahore Camp Jail after what police said was a brief ailment. Shaukat Ali, 35, was imprisoned in 2007 under blasphemy charges. Read more

THE PRESIDENT, WAR, TERROR AND ISLAM

OBAMA’S VOICE OF AMERICA – The headline at the Voice of America website operated by the US government, on July 15^th, 2011 said, “Braving Scorching Heat, Egyptians Rally to Press for Reforms.” Reforms? The organizers of the demonstration, the Sharia Association of Rights and Reform, called for a million men to take to the streets accusing the “secularists” of stealing the coming elections. The Sharia Association of Rights and Reforms also stated that Islamic sharia is the majority choice for Egypt, accusing secularists and liberals of trying to outflank the true preferences of the Egyptian people with a new constitution.

The reporting on this and other Middle Eastern events by the Voice of America seems to bend the truth when it comes to Islam and particularly the Muslim Brotherhood. The Voice of America continually refers to the Muslim Brotherhood as a “moderate” organization organized around charity. Oddly, the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood says something quite the contrary:

- Allah is our objective.
- The Prophet is our leader.
- Qur’an is our law.
- Jihad is our way.
- Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

The Voice of America is the official voice of the Obama Administration; it is not an independent news organization. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton uses the Voice of America to announce official State Department positions. Apparently the official position of the Obama Administration and the Department of State is to white wash violent Islamic organizations to justify cooperation with them.

OBAMA WANTS ARAB RATHER THAN CANADIAN OIL – Only Saudi Arabia has more recoverable oil reserves than Alberta, Canada. Unfortunately for Americans, the Obama Administration does not want oil from Alberta because it comes primarily from oil sands and Obama’s “green” supporters don’t like that fact. (Caveat: Actually the United States holds the greatest known oil reserves in the world when oil shale is included; however, Congress has barred extraction in most of these known reserve areas.) Currently Obama’s EPA is blocking the construction of a pipeline to the USA from Alberta that would bring investments of over $9 billion and create 100,000 jobs. If completed the pipeline would also bring down oil prices not only in the United States but the entire world. Simply put, out of liberal ideology, the Obama Administration and liberals in Congress are raising gas prices and putting people out of work.

Canada is currently the number one supplier of oil to the United States followed by Mexico and then Saudi Arabia. As older oil fields are depleted Canada is willing to open up its very rich oil shale fields. Obama is not interested; he would rather have American dollars flow to Arab nations that fund extremist Islam. Meanwhile the Chinese understand the value and volume of Canadian oil. Sinopec, a Chinese state-controlled oil company, has invested $5.5 billion to build the Northern Gateway Pipeline from Alberta to the Pacific Coast province of British Columbia where oil can be loaded on the Chinese tankers.

THE WEINER PROBLEM AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT – Why was President Barack Obama so eager to request that Twitter-disgraced congressman Anthony Weiner resign? Just maybe he feared the other half of the Weiner scandal would surface in the media. Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, is a very close confidante and advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Abedin holds a top security clearance at the State Department, but also has open associations with the Muslim Brotherhood. It is more than likely that the decision by the Administration to recognize the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as a legitimate organization was orchestrated by her.

Considering her associations, can Huma Abedin be trusted or is she in fact a double agent for the Muslim Brotherhood? Her mother, who lives in Saudi Arabia, is a member of The Sisterhood, which is the female version of the Muslim Brotherhood. Human Events reported that Huma Abedin’s brother—Hassan Abedin—has collaborated with Omar Naseef and Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, two of the most influential terror supporters in the world. The presence of Huma Abedin as a close advisor to the Secretary of State is in itself a statement on the position of the Obama Administration.

OBAMA, GEORGE SOROS AND THE LIBYAN “REBELS” – The foreign affairs advisor for a top U.S. lobby firm hired to represent the rebels of Libya just a few months ago was serving as President Obama’s special representative to Egypt, where he reportedly held a clandestine meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood. In addition, a public relations firm working on behalf of the rebels recently arranged a meeting for Libya’s opposition with a progressive group funded by billionaire George Soros that is known for its close relationship with the White House. There seems to be a revolving door at the White House with advisors leaving to join consulting firms that champion radical agendas.

THE CONGRESS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND TERROR

NBC APOLOGIZES TO CONGRESS FOR “UNDER GOD” FLAP- Let me say first that this would NEVER have happened if NBC was still owned by General Electric. Comcast, the new owner of NBC, has issued a formal apology to Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA), the chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, for deleting “under God” from the Pledge during the U.S. Open. Forbes and more than 100 other congressmen had written a letter to NBC complaining about the incident.

The president of Comcast, Kyle McSlarrow, said: “We have made quite clear — internally and externally — that the employees who made this decision were wrong,” he said. “Not only were countless citizens justifiably upset, but also the actions of this small group cast a negative light on NBC Universal.” He was very blunt: “It was an inexcusable mistake in judgment and it will not be repeated.” Have you read my book on the history of the Pledge of Allegiance? DON’T FUND SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN MILITARY – Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) has offered an amendment to H.R. 2219, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2012, which would prohibit the implementation of the Navy’s new guidance on same sex marriage for its chaplains. This comes after the Navy recently issued guidance to their chaplains to officiate at same-sex marriages on military bases. This was a contradiction to the Defense of Marriage Act, and so Members of Congress sent a letter urging the rescindment of this new policy forcing the Navy to halt the policy – for now. This amendment would stop any future implementation of these guidelines. Please contact your congressman for support!

CULTURE AND RELIGION

GAYS FOR JON HUNTSMAN – I was just a little stunned when someone e-mailed me a link to a story in Q Salt Lake. The Q stands for queer and it is a gay newspaper in Salt Lake City which has semi-endorsed Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman. Rather than editorialize I will quote directly from the gay site:

“While there are no official endorsements from any caucuses or groups within the Republican Party yet, the Utah Log Cabin Republicans worked with Huntsman when he was governor, and are ready and willing to work continue that relationship,” Melvin Nimer, the president of the ULCR, said. “Huntsman was the first governor of Utah to open up the governor’s mansion to the LGBT community,” Nimer said. “They [the Huntsman campaign team] have reached out to get some help from us and some people within the group are working with him.”

Having read this glowing endorsement of Huntsman in an official “queer” site, I think I will personally reach out to a different presidential candidate.

SISTER WIVES – In 2003 the Supreme Court in Lawrence v. Texas said that no law could be passed prohibiting sodomy or any other same-sex act. Justice Scalia said the decision would be, “the end of all morals legislation.” Actually I believe Scalia was wrong: the case simply changed the morals of the nation legally. Every single law is some kind of a moral judgment. In the Lawrence case the moral line in the sand with regard to sex was moved toward sodomy and led directly to same-sex marriage and now to polygamy.

The polygamist family on the TV series “Sister Wives” has filed a lawsuit against the state of Utah, attempting to do for polygamists what the Lawrence V. Texas case mentioned above did for homosexuals. The Lawrence v. Texas case is being used as the basis of the polygamist lawsuit. American Muslim men will be the chief benefactors of a victory since Islam permits four wives. In the UK Muslim men can put their multiple wives and as many children as they can have on the welfare roles. That will be the result in the United States as well.

HONOR KILLINGS IN THE WEST – Each year thousands of young women are murdered by their fathers and brothers in the name of “honor.” Young women who have been raped are also killed because so many Muslims believe that the rape victim has “dishonored” the family by being raped. ISLAMISTS DEMAND TAKEOVER OF THREE UK CITIES - Islamic extremists have called on British Muslims to establish three independent states within the UK. The notorious Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) group has named Yorkshire towns Bradford and Dewsbury, as well as Tower Hamlets in East London, as test sites for blanket sharia rule. The medieval ‘emirates’ would operate entirely outside British law, according to documents at their MAC website. But is the request that far out of line in the UK? There are now many sharia courts in the United Kingdom that operate openly and often contrary to English law in family matters. Non-Muslim policewomen are required to wear the hijab in Muslim areas. Police cannot enter some Muslim areas in London at all.

PAKISTAN CHRISTIAN SEX SLAVES – One may argue that rape is a phenomenon that affects every society, yet the fact that most of the women raped in Pakistan come from the mere 2% Christian minority speaks for itself. Moreover, if you read the individual stories of the rapes you soon learn that in every single case the Pakistani police either did nothing to apprehend the culprits or, more often, actually helped them while turning against the victims.

Even though Pakistan is not a full-blown sharia state and tries to save face in front of the international infidel–sharia has nonetheless conditioned even the police to see Christian women (infidels) as little more than objects of pleasure which Muslim men can violate at will. Still, the United States gives billions of dollars of aid each year to Pakistan despite the fact that it is a nuclear nation that targets democratic India with terror attacks.

ANOTHER MUSLIM ATTACK IN INDIA – The Indian Mujahedeen (IM), which has bragged of eight other terrorist attacks over the last four years, has claimed responsibility for the latest bombings in Mumbai (Bombay) which killed 23 and wounded many more innocent civilians on July 13^th, 2011. This was the worst Islamic terror attack in India since November, 2008 when Muslim terrorists from Pakistan entered Mumbai by sea and attacked hotels and a train station killing 164 people and wounding at least 308 innocent civilians.

Some background: India at one time was comprised of not only the current land area of India but Pakistan and Bangladesh as well. The nation was divided to accommodate Muslims who wanted their own nation in 1947. All Hindus fled south into India. Not satisfied with their own Islamic nation, Muslims now want to terrorize India in the name of Jihad. Virtually all terror attacks in India are in some way assisted by Pakistani intelligence which receives military funding from the United States. Our tax dollars at work!

IMAM SAYS: “THE WORLD BELONGS TO US” – At a Muslim Brotherhood related Internet site Egyptian Shaykh Safwat Hegazy in a recent video threatened Jews and Christians, and ultimately the whole world, saying, “Jerusalem belongs to us, and the whole world belongs to us.” He states the Islamic caliphate will return, and that “every land upon which Islam has set foot will return to us.” He makes pointed references to Qurayza and Khaybar, which are clear threats against the Jews, and also states, “we will kill anyone who has polluted the al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Hegazy is a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and has a very popular TV show, “Age of Glory,” on the al-Nas television network. During the uprising against Mubarak , he addressed crowds at Tahrir Square in Cairo. He stood directly behind Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the head of the Muslim Brotherhood, when the latter led more than one million Muslims in Tahrir Square in prayer after Mubarak stepped down. This is the group that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she was looking forward to “working with” in Egypt.

ISLAMIC EDUCATION - On July 15^th, 2011 police in Indonesia arrested the head of the Umar Bin Khatab Islamic boarding school after a bomb exploded at the school. Police finally entered the school building after being obstructed by dozens of locals carrying sharp weapons to find bomb making manuals and materials used as “teaching aids.” Moderate Islam at its best.

THE PRESIDENCY
"DON'T CALL MY BLUFF, ERIC" - Those were the words of President Barack Obama before he stormed out a budget meeting this week. Immediately a massive media campaign, bordering on anti-Semitic, was launched by the mainstream media against Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Senator Harry Reid referred to him as "childish" and MSNBC went on what could only be described as a binge of hatred against Cantor. What did Eric Cantor do or say to cause this tantrum by President Obama and his allies? Cantor asked the President to be "specific" about what spending cuts he would agree to. The President's position is: Give me what I want now and I will let you know sometime in the future what it is I am willing do in spending cuts. Who sounds childish?

OBAMA'S VOICE OF AMERICA - Today the headline at the Voice of America website run by the US government said, "Braving Scorching Heat, Egyptians Rally to Press for Reforms." Reforms? The organizers, calling for a "million man march" accusing "secularists" of stealing the coming elections. The Sharia Association of Rights and Reforms also stated that stated that Islamic Sharia is the majority choice for Egypt, accusing secularists and liberals of trying to outflank the true preferences of the Egyptian people. The Question: Are the editors of Voice of America promoting Islamic sharia law in Egypt or is their reporting just totally inept?

NBC APOLOGIZES TO CONGRESS OVER "UNDER GOD" FLAP- Let me say first that this would NEVER have happened if NBC was still owned by General Electric. Comcast, the new owner of NBC has issued a formal apology to Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA), the chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, for deleting "under God" from the Pledge during the U.S. Open. Forbes and more than 100 other congressman had written a letter to NBC complaining about the incident. The president of Comcast, Kyle McSlarrow, said: "We have made quite clear -- internally and externally -- that the employees who made this decision were wrong," he said. "Not only were countless citizens justifiable upset, but also the actions of this small group cast a negative light on NBC Universal." He was very blunt: "It was an inexcusable mistake in judgment and it will not be repeated."

SENATE BILL ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM - Missouri Republican Senator Roy Blunt has recently introduced the Near East and South Central Asia Religious Freedom Act of 2011 (S. 1245). The legislation would give the Secretary of State the authority to name a Special Envoy to promote the religious freedom of religious minorities in the Near East and Central Asia. The Special Envoy would be an expert in human rights and religious freedom issues and would have the rank of Ambassador. Read more

HONOR KILLINGS IN THE WEST - Each year thousands of young women are murdered by their fathers and brothers in the name of "honor." Young women who have been raped are also killed because so many Muslims believe that the rape victim has "dishonored" the family by being raped. A solemn tribute video has been produced in the memory of young women who have been suffered "honor killings' in the West.
SISTER WIVES - In 2003 the Supreme Court in Lawrence v. Texas said that no law could be passed prohibiting sodomy or any other same-sex act. Justice Scalia said the decision would be, "the end of all morals legislation." Actually Scalia was wrong: the case simply changed the morals of the nation legally. The case erased the line in the sand and led to same-sex marriage. Now the polygamist family on the series "Sister Wives" has filed a lawsuit against the state of Utah attempting to do for polygamists what the Lawrence V. Texas case did for homosexuals. The Texas case is being used as the basis of the suit. American Muslims men will be the chief benefactors of a victory. BOKO HARAM KILLS DAILY - On average the Islamic group, Boko Haram kills at least on innocent man, woman or child each day in Nigeria in the name of Mohammed. This week the group attacked a police station killing cops and stealing weapons. Sharia already exists in northern Nigeria but that is not enough for the group. "Boko Haram wants to establish god's kingdom on earth through Islamic institutions, and establish sharia in all the states in Nigeria," says Council on Foreign Relations' John Campbell.

RELEASE ASIA BIBI NOW - Pakistani Christians are demanding the release of Asia Bibi, mother of five, who has been falsely accused of blasphemy and jailed for nearly two years.
