Next meet is McCallie on November 21.  Not all team members will travel to this meet.  The heat sheet has been sent out though.

The meet after that will be on Saturday, December 5th at Bartlett Rec.  The meet starts at 9:00AM with warm-ups at 8:30AM. 

I WILL POST THE HEAT SHEET FOR THE DECEMBER 5TH MEET ON THIS SITE FRIDAY AFTERNOON.  Please down-load a copy and bring it with you to the meet.

The MUS 5K is Saturday, November 14.  There isn't a Varsity or Lower School Swim Meet that day, so I would like to encourage all of you (and your parents if they'd like) to run.  It starts at 10:30 from Stokes Stadium on campus.  Can't get much better than that.

Race and a long-sleeved t-shirt is only $20. 

Varsity guys especially, please attend.  Major brownie points will be awarded.

The 200-yard Medley Relay team of Crews Wellford, Alexander Kaltenborn, Peterson Wellford, and Daniel Clark placed 1st and came... Laurie Clark

Scoring 98 points in the first meet of the season, the County Relay Meet, the Aquatic Owls placed 2nd behind CBHS. 

The 200-yard Medley Relay team of Crews Wellford, Alexander Kaltenborn, Peterson Wellford, and Daniel Clark placed 1st and came within 39/100 of a second of setting a new school record.  The 400-yard Free Relay team of Tony Bui, Taylor Jordan, Chase Harriman, and Alexander Kaltenborn also placed 1st.  The 4x100 IM and 200 back relays placed 2nd.

Thanks to all of our parents who helped score!!

The first practice went great yesterday!  Only two guys signed up for rides with Varsity swimmers.  So, if your lower schooler needs a ride, email laurie.clark@musowls.org before Tuesday of next week.

Next practice is Saturday from 1:00 - 2:30 at the Nuber YMCA.

Wednesday, October 21, will be the FIRST day of Lower School Swim Practice this year.  Please try and get your son to the Nuber YMCA on Quince the first day between 2:30 and 3:00 and we will try and organize rides with the Varsity guys for the following week.

Practices will be Wednesdays from 3:45 - 5:45 and Saturdays from 1:00 - 2:30.

Lower School WILL NOT PRACTICE on Wednesday, October 14.  The Nuber YMCA has decided to start putting the dome up a day earlier.  So, the first practice for the Lower School will be on Wednesday, October 21.  If you could get swimmers over to the YMCA that Wednesday, we can talk to the Varsity guys about getting them rides the following week.
