Cooking while playing Minecraft ;D

2011-05-10T08:01:00.000-07:00

Hey Guys, I found out some funny Trick. Yesterday I wanted to cook something, but also I wanted to play Minecraft. So what do?
I tried something: Leave water in a pot and put it on your heather.
Now start Minecraft and play :-) When it gets dark, run immediately into your kitchen - your water has to be ready. Put your Spaghettis or noodles into the water and go back to your computer. When the moon on Minecraft is at 1/2 or 3/4 in the heaven you can go back in the kitchen. Your spaghettis are finished :-)
Try it if you throw a spaghetti on your fridge, if the spaghetti remains hanging there, then they are "al dente"

Yummy :D

You want some funny Skin for your Minecraft Guy?

First of all, you have to choose your Skin. Google for "Minecraft Skins" or go to minecraftskins.com. You can get thousands of Skins!

Download your favourite Skin and go to Minecraft.net and log in with your Minecraft Account.
In the menu click on Profile, here you can choose by "browse" the skins on your Computer. Upload it and its done :-)

Minecraft: Some really good Seeds

2011-05-07T07:17:00.000-07:00

Hey guys, I found some great Minecraft Seeds in which you have beautiful Caves and mountains.
Give them a try, on our server (which you see in the Rollercoaster video) we use "Davinci Code".

I actually dont know how these Seeds work, I think these are some parameters which generate the world. You can type in what you want, for example: "blogger" and the game is generating your world.
Anyway the world for "blogger" will be on every Computer the same.

Seeds can be entered when you're going to create a new World in the Single Player.
So this is a little picture of the Blogger-generated World:

(not really interesting ;-))

Minecraft Tutorial: how to install a Texturepack

2011-05-06T03:56:00.000-07:00

Here is a little Tutorial how to install some great Minecraft Texturepack.

The first Step is to get the Texturepack .zip. You can search in Google or Bing for them, there are thousend of threads there. (My favourite is the Misa HD Texture Pack).

Step two: Delete your Minecraft bin folder. Find it, if you type %appdata% in your explorer.

Step three: Save the Texturepack .zip file in the Texturepack Folder

Step four: Download the newest Version of the mcpatcher (2.0 or higher is required for Beta 1.5 Texturepacks), leave everything checked and click on Patch.

Step five: Start Minecraft, let it patch and go to "Mods and Texturepacks" in the menu. Now choose your texturepack and enjoy your beautiful new Minecraft!

QUESTION: Which is your favourite Texture Pack & Mods?
