Here are some of the items that I want and might consider getting myself for Christmas. I love accessories and technology so I had to put a watch and the Barnes and Nobel Nook on my list. I think out of this list (a small one as of now), I will consider getting the Marc by Marc Jacobs watch or the Nook. These two items are the ones I want the most, and it is also the most useful items for me. So here goes the list.

I really like all these items, but purchasing them all or getting them as a gift may be pricey. I will be happy just with one or two items from this list. Christmas is about family gatherings and the spirit of Christmas and not just solely about gifts. Remember to be thankful for what you have! That being said, are you guys more of a giver or a receiver for Christmas and what is on your wish list?

As I was cleaning my closet out, I noticed that I own a lot more winter and fall clothes than I do for summer. I came to the thought that I like winter and fall more than summer and spring. Sure, I do complain about the cold in the winter and wish summer will come sooner but I have a lot of fun picking out my outfits the day before or the morning of for a winter day. The reason why I like the Winter and Fall season is because it's cold and it is much harder to pick an outfit out and look good. I say it is a challenge to do so because you want to keep yourself warm in the cold yet also look good while doing it. Now summer is much different because it is hot and all you have to do is wear shorts or a skirt and show a little leg and you will look cute. I'm not saying only showing a little skin will make you look good but in the summer it is much easier. However during the winter is a different story, although I have seen teens wearing their uniforms (skirts) in the winter with no leggings or stockings at all - I know crazy, I've seen a couple of them freeze their butts off in the winter. What I'm trying to get here is that in the winter a real fashionista prevails and can look fashionable and stylish in the winter without being bland underneath their coat. So for this winter I challenge you to look fashionable in the winter without freezing your butts off since summer is only a few more months long.

With autotuned music we have these days I rather stick with old school music with real voices! I'm really tired of these music with autotune in it! What happened to the good old days with good music? BRING IT BACK!! Also don't even get me started on Kesha and her sing talking!!! I got distracted by listening to old school music from the early 2000 and 1990's and thought why does this generation have such crap music?!

Eat, Travel and Love Yourself

Recently I have gone back to Montreal and visited Quebec city for the first time. Its a shame that since I do go back to Montreal every year, I've never been to Quebec city but boy am I glad I finally did. Quebec city is such a beautiful city full of culture and fine entertainment. I was astounded by how beautiful the city is.

During this summer I've been traveling and cooking and baking a lot. There is a movie coming out called Eat, Pray, Love and it is very inspirational to me because food really provides that satisfaction that you need in life, especially fine food. The movie is about a woman who takes a year off her work because she just wants to love herself again and not worry about anything else. I hope that one day I will be as privileged enough to travel around the world and taste all sorts of food from different places. So I will end this post leaving you with some of my cooking and baking creations.

Mother's Vintage Small Satchel

I walked passed my mother's bedroom one day and laid my eyes on this vintage bag and fell madly in love with it right away. I did not know why I really liked this bag, but something about it made me want it BADLY! Maybe I like the old vintage smell of it or the rough corners of the bag but I just had to have it. Once my mother saw the infatuation that I had with the bag, she decided to give it to me. I was extremely overwhelmed with joy, but many of my friends calls it the grandma bag. I agree it is a grandma bag because it is vintage but I still love it no matter what my friends thought. I thought it would look great on a summer day with a navy top and black shorts along with a nice pair of oxford shoes. These small satchels bag (shown above) are great for summer days if you want to go out for lunch without carrying a lot of things with you. I'm very excited to use my vintage bag again this summer and look forward to see what other people have.

Be Stupid, Wear Diesel

Diesel has a new marketing scheme in mind - they want you to wear their products because it makes you bold. In their ad (above) states, "Smart may have the brains, but stupid has the balls.". Now I don't want to criticize this ad too much because if you were smart you wouldn't have the balls to criticize this ad. Two of the "Be Stupid" ads has been banned by the U.K's Advertising Standard Authority because the ads showed girls taking pictures of their private areas with their personal cameras (like the photo above). Though taking pictures of private parts is the least worries for Diesel. If they were smart they wouldn't have posted these ads but I guess they have the balls to be stupid. What do you readers think about this ad? Do you feel offended when you are purchasing a Diesel product because you are being stupid but at the same times you have the balls to buy their products?

The Cut has announced that Forever 21 will be arriving in Times Sqaure tomorrow. The store will be over 90,000 square feet and will consist of 121 change rooms! Yes that's right I said 121 change room! I think 121 change rooms is a bit crazy and 90,000 square feet?!

Topshop in Toronto

Topshop has officially arrived in Toronto yesterday. It was such a pleasant gift to me since it was my birthday yesterday! Jonathan + Olivia has added Topshop items in their store. Now Canadian girls will be able to purchase Topshop items without traveling so far for it!

Punta Cana

I recently just came back from Punta Cana and I must say it is a spectacular place. Luckily when we went the weather was much nicer than the people who went a week before we did. You can always rely on the Dior show to see something really beautiful and unique. This resort 2011 show has expressed simple cocktail dresses to beautiful long and extravagant gowns. The colours of the dresses are easy on the eyes which makes the garments much more appealing. Here are some of the dresses that has caught my eye from the show. I feel as if the show was an impression of the "Barbie Girl" doll. It was as if these models who are wearing these dresses are in a wonderful and fairy tale world.

Just want to say I've been extremely busy with school. But now school is over - thank god! Though I'm still taking one intensive summer course, but doesn't mean I won't be updating. I'm sorry for all those who view my blog and haven't seen any updates. Summer is coming soon which means lots of pictures and lots of blogging. A lot of the shows - especially Raf Simons (three of the pictures above) expresses the femininity in their Fall and Winter 2010 collection. I'm sorry for the absence for the past few months. I've been extremely busy with school and stressing on my midterms which has taken all of my time. I've been bombarded with a lot of school work, but I must post this because I truly think it is worth my time to pay a tribute to Alexander McQueen. It is an absolute tragedy to lose a truly amazing and inspirational designer. McQueen has been one of the most innovative and fascinating designer I've ever seen. It really breaks my heart to see him gone, but he will be forever remembered for his talent and creativity. May you Rest in Peace Alexander McQueen.

Loving The Sound of Music

I am deeply sorry that i haven't been updating my blog lately. I have been so terribly busy with school that I simply do not have time to update my blog.
