I never gone to any of his concerts. =(

Just like others, I grew up with Michael Jackson’s music. As I grow older, I realize that we are living with his music even during the long silent past years he’s not around. And if others are cramming to buy MJ’s CD now, then we are not! Because we actually have all of them including DVDs of his concerts. Oh! gosh! ‘ Can’t help the tears from falling. I’m so sad like the million others.

He will always be a part of me and our family. He really has a gift to make people happy as well as sing and dance with his songs. He’s one of a kind artist where anyone can just get up and move their feet and listen to all of his songs without hitting fast forward!

MJ’s songs are all amazing but I also have my favorites. Here is my top 15 Michael Jackson songs. This is in random order.

Today, I barely see such hairstyles as there are many interesting styles that different Hollywood artists are wearing now. Sometimes, I think that these celebrities are just wearing Wigs. Well… as a matter of fact, they sometimes do.

I’m searching for more 80s hairstyles when I found this wig website. I browse through their selection and I realized that going back to the time of colorful hairstyles is definitely possible without damaging your hair. Solutions are wigs – just snap them on and you’ll get back to the past. Pain has always been a part of finding and keeping love. More often than not, we are meeting few wrong people that give us so much pain. Then, we started to ponder and think what went wrong. At these trying times, most of us would love to drown ourselves with memories while searching for a great companion in a song.

So how can we mend our broken heart? If you are experiencing so much pain today, then don’t try pushing yourself to move on. Just let your heart cry out to ease the pain. Take the pain just as much as you want it to leave you. Drown yourself into listening to some music meant to understand your heartaches and let the tears fall.
After a few cries and selecting the best music that has identified your pain, you will start to realize that life isn’t unfair at all. When the time comes that you’re ready to fetch the broken pieces again, start looking back at your heartaches – that will get you ready to feel and fall in love again with your whole being.

As for me, I don’t count how many times I’ve lost love. I admit that I have befriended a few heart-aching songs before. And during those times, my friends were my hankies, the radio and some Ghirardelli chocolate and sweets on the side.

Every day is getting better and after a few fall, it is always nice to look forward for something new.

The entire Philippines is mourning to the lost of a nationalist and a proud Filipino. Francis Magalona died last Friday, March 6, 2009 at the age of 44 due to the cancer of the blood or leukemia. Some of his popular songs include “Mga Kababayan Ko”, “Kaleidoscope World”, “Meron Akong Ano” and “Cold Summer Nights”. Francis M is also a photographer and a host from the longest running noon time show, Eat Bulaga.

For those who missed this event, here’s one of the highlights that touched the heart of every people there. Aside from President Obama’s speech, this is, indeed a reflecting moment during this momentous event.

Last year, I went to Disneyland with my family and we really had fun. This year, we are looking forward to visit some of the prestigious, scenic and historical places in Europe. We’re actually planning to take a tour in September of this year but I’m already doing my research as early as now. This is very essential especially now that we are facing phenomenal economic difficulties.

While I would love to visit different travel agencies personally, I chose to go online this time. And so one of the sites that met my standards so far is all inclusive vacations.com. No doubt that everyone wants to be at rest on a clean and comfortable bed. As I search for new and innovative sleeping-related product, I found the Memory foam mattress. This year, some of my relatives won’t be able to come home to celebrate with us including my old made aunt. She’s actually 65 years old and quite old. Last year, I gave her a DVD player to partner with her newly bought television as a Christmas gift. You see, she loves watching movies but since, she’s too old to go out, we urged her to buy her own entertainment set.

She called up yesterday telling that she can’t make it this year. So I’m thinking of the possible gift that I could give her. I actually spotted the Medical Alert. I think this will be a great gift since she’s far from us and no one will look after her except for another relative. This gadget is a good one since she’s not getting any younger and it will be used to update us about her health conditions. I still have to investigate which gadget is perfect for her.

Another exciting thing about giving this gift is that I can buy it online and have it delivered to her house. I know that we’ll miss her this holiday but we’re all hoping that she’ll be alright even though she’s far away. =)

I started embracing romantic movies when I turned 12. I mostly love musical movies with romantic theme. However, I used to watch Home Alone and its sequels and other child-friendly films.

Today, I’m still spending my Christmas with my favourite movies, only now in DVD format =). I wake up early in the morning and go to the church to give thanks. While waiting for some visitors in the afternoon, I would set our DVD player and start watching movies. Last year, I watched “The Holiday and the Lake House.” I was also able to watch again “ the Da Vinci Code.”

This year, I’m not sure if there are romantic movies coming on theatre. However, I’m planning to rent some CDs again, just like the old times. I’m actually looking for some old Christmas movies that I can rent before the holiday begins. Here’s my list.

Another great and new gadget that’s very helpful to businesses and personal used is the Fleet Tracking system. I first heard this gadget last year and it continuously amaze me due to its more enhanced features and functionality. My uncle actually has it on his vehicle for his truck moving business.

My mp3 also gives me great pleasure each time I put it in my ears. Listening to my favorite songs while traveling truly completes my day. While there are hundreds of advanced mp4s available, I only settle myself to listening with my old Zen. It’s like giving more importance to my favorite old songs and stuff as well.

I can’t truly find any disadvantages with the revolutionizing world of computers. It simply makes our lives easier and profitable all at the same time. And because my work involves the internet, I feel that embracing the many benefits of it can help me a lot rather than going the other way. Sometimes, I still love doing things the old way but I think it is much better this way, at least I have an option. =)

One of my favorite performers of all time is Anne Murray and I’m just so excited that she has a new album, just in time for the holidays. Anyway, fast forward: another guy from work asked me to look for “Here Without You” by The Vitamin String Quartet.  As usual, I myself was again lost and clueless of what he told me to look for, just searched and played the song.  And i was instantly hooked! Mesmerized! Caught in a trance! (Oh well, enough with the melodrama.)

There were loads of songs that the group had turned into dramatic, more intense sounds, well of course–minus the vocals!  There’s “Broken” by Evanescence, “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, “Pressure” by Paramore, “Snow” by Red Hot Chili Peppers, “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance and a lot, lot more!  Each one different, but every track was ever-brilliant!

Time to turn on the players and listen to Colbie Caillat and her soothing voice with “Realize“. Personally, i feel uplifted with just the sound of her voice.  The lyrics and the rhythm of the song is a plus and it would be nice to sing along, too!  Another song that she sang, and I really like to listen to whenever I’m blue is “Bubbly“. Sure, this track was featured in the animated hit Alvin and the Chipmunks and those cute little creatures have their own version of the song as well! Never failed to make me smile everytime!

And there’s Sara Bareilles: someone you’d probably compare with Norah Jones or Fiona Apple due to her soulful voice, but her versatile vocals can range from gentle to powerful in one song! One particular track that I love hearing is “Love Song”

The song’s upbeat tempo simply picks up the mood every morning–or night that I wake up and get ready for work.  Makes me think that somehow, there’s something good waiting for me as I step outside my place and something spectacular is gonna greet me in the outside world!

So if I can’t play badminton again and do some jogging in the morning, I decided to just take some diet over the food I intake. I read some diet reviews including the right food to eat and other simple exercises that I can do. I admit it will take me some time to gain back that old figure but I’m positive with it –I’m skinny from the start.

The song “Let’s Get Physical” simply gets me up and do some walking. As a matter of fact, I made it my encouraging song which I try to play every morning. Kinda’ weird but inspiration and determination is all I need to gain back my confidence. Oh, I just talked to some of my badminton playmates and we’re having our session this coming weekend – just after I ended this post!

Everyday, I browse the internet for some exciting commercials and advertisement that could inspire me more to pursue a career in this field. Each day, I find excellently made portfolios that only brilliant people can make. From TV commercials to the Internet, they are just so enticing and fascinating.

Today, I found the Chicago Video Production Company portfolio. The company is not just into advertising but also doing a comprehensive multimedia campaign. While I’m aware that internet is playing a huge role in marketing and advertising, it’s rare that I could find a company that offers a complete package. I think this is one of the best companies I found so far – very impressing.

As for me, I’m still studying how to create a website. I believe that being in the multimedia industry requires not just creativity but also skills in various platforms. That’s where I’m readying myself. One day, I would love to see my work and ideas in live – hoping that I could utilize God’s given talent in my own little ways. Who knows? =)

Sometimes, I wish that our singers of today would be able to deliver the true message of the lyrics that they’re singing. I’m a music lover who always looks at the message/lyrics of the song. And I would love to hear those wordings in a soothing melody. Here’s Ms. Crystal Gayle in her very inspiring song that we can all relate to.

Those were just few introductions to introduce this little girl from the Philippines. I heard several stories about her and the recent is, the turning of her dreams into reality – to be able to sing with her Idol, Celine Dion. The story on how she started and how she made it where she is right now are just simply inspiring. A week after her breath-taking performance with Celine Dion, I would like to share with you the video of their duets.

Truly, great talents come in small packages.

LSS (acronym for Last Song Syndrome), is a song that you could not take off your head no matter what you do for no particular reason.  Oh well, mine’s Chris Brown’s “With You”; I might have heard it over the radio on my way to work or might have seen it’s video on the music channel or heard on my co-staff’s cellphone at work, but uh, i still can’t get it off my mind!

It’s a pleasant song to have playing over and over your head.  It’s rather simple lyrics and unique R & B beat captured the hearts of music lovers all over the world landing it atop the Billboard 100 for six straight weeks!  It’s also one of the biggest selling singles for the year 2008.

David Archuleta also has a version of this particular song which he sang at American Idol last season and I found some other singers doing a cover of “With You” on YouTube.  Follow this link to an acoustic version by Boyce Avenue.

While searching for some Spain-related music and attractions, I found the Destinia. It’s actually a Spanish travel agency that just open an English market. The company doesn’t just offer competitive flight packages and tours but also musical and plays tickets to London. They also have reasonable prices for hotel accommodations, car rentals and even travel guides. A complete package, isn’t it?

The Spanish culture especially their music is truly rich. One day, I would love to step on this soil of this country and be able to explore and see what my granny has seen. I know that my love for travelling will definitely take me there. Oh by the way, just bookmarked the Destinia. I will absolutely need it in the future. Good thing that now, Destinia introduces in English market ‘coz I somewhat forgot some of the lang. =)

Nowadays, we barely hear this type of music as we are flooded with futuristic and Hip-Hops. However, in our home, Sundays are easy listening and back to basics days. My pop would always set the DVD with the music of the past and have it played after going to the church. That would be a whole day of reminiscing for him and my mom while doing their Sunday chores.

I admit that I’m an 80s baby but sometimes I’m becoming more of person that blast from the past. More often than not, I would amaze other people because I know such music and be able to sing with it.
