Bottom of the Alphabet, Top of the Game

2010-09-22T22:33:00.005-04:00

Big Z drops a nice mixtape once again. This is a must download. The style never stays and the beats are always changing. The one thing that Big Z is known for with his beats, is that the beat is always changing and is never boring. Big Z has some Big Talent at such young age. He has made beats for rappers like Loggy and other college rappers.

Pep Rally (The Mixtape)- Hoodie Allen

2010-09-21T16:36:00.004-04:00

I posted Hoodie's Swimming with Sharks yesterday and that's a good song but most of the songs on this mixtape are as good or better. Don't judge Pep Rally by its cover, literally. I only gave it one listen through but thats all I needed. It also has two old hits of his, You Are Not a Robot and Words of Wisdom. Favorite song on first impression... Look at What We Started. MUST DOWNLOAD.

Pumped Up Kicks

2010-09-12T11:09:00.001-04:00

Props to GMAD on this one:
"Split Second just dropped a new song featuring Loggy today. This song is pretty fun, and it samples Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks,” which is an ill song to sample. They did a fantastic job, and I’m excited what they are going to do with more of their new material."
