I was not able to prepare a post in this blog for a long time. I was busy with other things to do. I was pondering on things lately. I never thought that it will occur to me that music and life must wield together for strength and inspiration. Here are the things that I realized this time:

Music and life demands sincerity. When you listen to music and find some lyrics that match your ideas, it must be cultivated to inspire others, like the people you love. It will not hurt listening to Tylor Swift's songs and ponder on it just for learning life in the process. If you have been married, then you could keep the lessons in life and hand it over to your children once they need it. If you are single, "you belong with me" song is easy to follow on.

Not only that, funny songs are like a balm for a weary soul. Country music usually has funny songs with hilarious lyrics to listen to. The idea of smiling and then laughing while listening to funny music is intriguing. And there is nothing wrong doing it.

Here is a line that is worth pondering for:

"A hero's strength is measured in his heart"

A person can always be strong by mending one's heart to have strength all the time. Yes, trials will continue in perfect attendance each day. But, it takes a brave heart to vanquish it all. In this life, only the strong and resolute could find its way to survival.

It is amazing how the author wrote this very interesting article with a very catchy title under the Arts and Entertainment category of Web Articles Website. Indeed, we live in a photogenic world. Spencer talks about professional photographers and the importance of their presence to make the photography industry more valuable and interesting for clients. Spencer is aware of the necessity for professional photographers to improve their craft through constant practice. With that, the author provided a powerful thesis for the article to stand out. On the other hand, Spencer reminded us of the truth that hobbyists do not have many efforts to practice shooting nicer pictures. Hence, there is a need for the author to share the different types of photography in order for both professional photographers and hobbyists to use in taking good pictures.

Spencer provided us the different skills relating to photography in the article. He made it with much emphasis on the fact that people are really interested in documenting the life’s activities of other people. The article is focused on the general relevance of photography and the means by which people enjoy its fruits. The photogenic world that we live are full of memories and interesting photographic subjects that is useful to make life beautiful. In most cases, people love music and photography but it is more interesting if they do it with the aim of providing good results. The interaction of music, life, society, and photography are catalysts of a well-rounded life then. With that, the author provided us a wonderful glimpse on how to keep life’s memories through photography.

I have been wondering on what is the best thing to do while listening to the rain outside the house. Since I love music, I tried to surf the Internet for good music. I was inspired by one article at www.web-articles.info that talks about listening to music online. The article is very informative and it also affirmed that it is possible to download songs and music over the Internet via MP3 files. It was also disclosed and explained in the article that downloading music online is free as most sites offer it that way. Since using MP3 files in downloading music online has become the most common move in the market, most businessmen ventured into such business through the web.

Moreover, the article provides one most important fact which is useful for Internet users. Yes, downloading music from the Internet is free. But then, users run the risk of becoming victims of hackers. Aside from that, the quality of the audio files you download runs from very bad to very well, and you never know how badly or good a file is until you download and play it. In fact, some audio files are incomplete. Others are not what they claim to be. Some are inferior recordings. All these information are essential is acquiring the services of sites that offer free download of music through MP3s files. Hence, the article is really useful and informative especially for those who love listening music online. Listening to music online is fun but must be done with caution.

Latest MMO Online Game: AION

With these boring days, looking for fun and excitement in the Internet is essential. As a woman having well-rounded personality, sharing to others what has been considered as recommended to combat stress is a must. Remember, all work and no play makes Jane a dull girl. I had come across of a new auction site having a twist in its services. Bidhere.com has been one of those best auction sites operating through the Internet. As an online auction site, bidhere.com is considered as a penny auction site wherein brand new products like
Nintendo, Wii's, iPods, laptops, digital cameras, and LCD TV's fall under the auction hammer daily and offer for sale with prices that is perfectly characterised as must-grab items. The said auction site offer the hottest and in demand gadgets at the lowest prices. Bidhere.com also offers the latest, brand new electronic products including watches, as well as merchandise and goods from leading manufacturers. All the users of the auction site will have a chance to experience the most exciting auction activities online then.

Basically, the auction site offer an exciting online auction for customers on the basis of the principles of an American‐Style Auction which is the right type of competition for participants who want to auction attractive goods and services at bargain prices. Besides, bidhere.com stands out from the rest of the auction sites operating in the Internet for various reasons. The primary objective and principle of the site is that every auction made must have a fair go. It must be real auctions with real winners and in real time. Aside from that, when a participant register in the auction site, he or she would get five (5) bids free of charge. Per bid costs only $0.60 (US) plus ten (10) free bids for every one hundred (100) bids a participant placed. The most interesting feature of the auction is that no one looses his or her money. Bidhere.com gives a participant the possibility to buy the product he or she is interested in at anytime. All the bids placed on an auction are offered as a discount off the recommended retail price of the item. All interested participant must create a user account at Bidhere.com and place bid and then wait for timer to reach 00:00:00. Actually, each auction has a countdown timer between 15 seconds and 3 minutes. When the timer turned zero, the last bidder wins the right to purchase the product. If another user counter-bids, the countdown timer will restart. Hence, there is really fun and excitement in using the auction site plus a fair auction guarantee.
Her charm coupled with confidence and candor made her a hit in the Philippines years ago. In fact, her movies with Hero Angeles are fine. When she won Star Circle Quest at ABS-CBN, she earned the respect of many Filipinos and watch her many shows. As lady luck gave a tearful wink, Sandara's career seemed to take a slower pace after she went back to her native country. She waited a little longer, but I no longer see her in television.

Years later, she became a member of 2NE1 and became famous in South Korea. She signed a contract under YG Entertainment prior to that. 2NE1 is a female Big Bang and composed of Sandara Park, Park Bom, CL, and Gong Minji. She is known as Dara in South Korea. Sandara will always remain in my Filipina heart now that she made a name in her own country.

Have a nice day!

Wonder Girls

The Korean singer-songwriter Park Jin-Yang built JYP Entertainment with ease and made Wonder Girls as the latest and biggest phenomenon this year in the music industry. It could be remembered that the same music outfit produced the superstar Rain who made his way into the entertainment industry with so much fame. The Wonder Girls girl group is composed of five teenage singing sensations from South Korea. Each original member of the girl group was chosen through auditions. Their debut rendition of the song “Tell Me” made them popular in the East in early 2007. The members of the Wonder Girls singing group are Yubin, Yenny, Sun, Mimi, and Sohee.

According to their official website, Wonder Girls started their first ever World Tour last March 2009. They visited three US cities including New York and Los Angeles. Besides, the Wonder Girls continued invading the US music enthusiasts last summer having thirteen performances from coast to coast on the Jonas Brothers World Tour. The Wonder Girls also conducted and will have shows in China, Thailand, and other parts of the world.

Here is a photo of the group:

On-going hit "Nobody" video:

It is interesting, right?

Michael Jackson: His Memory

There are unforgettable best-selling albums of the superstar such as the 1982 album "Thriller" — which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" which sold an estimated 50 million copies sold around the world. The superstar was Michael Joseph was born on Aug. 29, 1958. At the age of four years old, he started singing with his brothers — Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito via Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The music world went black and music lovers received news about his death in all parts of the world. Some people are even waiting for his comeback in the music industry. His death also stopped him from regaining his prowess in music expression.
Music is one of the most profitable type of artistic expression. In fact, many businessmen are using music in order to sell their products. There are also merchants who trade music products to the public like CDs containing recorded and live performances of musical artists, even DVD's with musical expression, and many other musical instruments like violin, guitar, and piano.

In line with that, selling music products may be done through online advertising. Online advertising is an effective tool in making your business known to Internet surfers. Since people often look for information or data, including musical accessibility in the Internet, a good choice of advertisement space is vital for growing one's business. Hence, online advertising is the best option to increase sales not only in music products but anything saleable in the market.

I came across of a perfect online advertising site that allows advertisers and bloggers work in a single purpose: to earn more money. Paying Post is a blog advertising network which allows advertisers to advertise their products in return of a consideration through bloggers who would post reviews about their websites and products as well. Paying Post is also advantageous to both advertisers and bloggers since both increase their revenue in the process. Thus, going with the flow and singing with the music results in a positive vibe. Paying Post as an online advertising venue is then valuable.

The Music of Life

One of the most memorable songs that I learned is the song entitled Hero which is performed by Mariah Carey. The song is basically for the people to handle life well. For one thing, life's trials, grievances, problems, challenges, and even difficult questions existed since time immemorial. These oppositions are given to us in order to learn many things which makes us rise above from our shortcomings. Thus, it is admitted that we face problems in life. The question is: how far we knew the secrets of fighting against life's challenges in order to emerge victorious?

Our inner self is being emphasized by the song Hero and it was focused on the inside and not the outside. Our natural reactions in difficult situations are to feel the agony, to question, to cry, get angry and even to hurt ourselves if we cannot take it anymore. But in the song Hero sung by Mariah Carey, we knew that only ourselves can make our life easier. How? We need to believe in ourselves. We need to claim that our life is important above all trials and difficulties. Hence, to feel down is an enemy to our individual growth as a person. If we affirm to ourselves that we can make it, there is no reason to feel sad. When we think and work for a specific task and believe in our abilities, we knew we can.

In my own opinion, I always knew that Barack Obama would become the next President of the US despite concerns on race and color. He was so sure of his goals and never think of quitting despite barriers along the way. The song Hero is very timely for those people who felt the irony in life. The impossible can be turned into possible if we think and work that way. All in all, we understood it well, “and then the hero comes along, with the strength to carry on”, because we know how to carry on and continue enjoying life despite ups and downs. Indeed, music is vital to life and the society.

Jazz Music in Relation To Social Activism

Another influential music genre that promotes social activism is jazz music. According to Tietze, the intimate connection between individual identity and Jazz is apparent in American experience. The teaching and learning process that engages the whole person and maximizes self-understanding is the result or outcome of linking individual identity and jazz in an educational course of study which is designed to integrate data from both forms of a person’s cognition, intellectual knowledge and emotionally-valued circumstances. The rationale behind this point is that a fundamental social scrutiny of the nature and purpose of art is expressed in jazz music.

In connection, the study of jazz in terms of social view is done with individual improvisation which is created in group framework. On the basis of the call-and-response dialogue between listening and the artistic expression of one’s own voice, improvisation devised upon a groundwork given by the group’s rhythmic arrangement. Tietze has been incorporating jazz in his teaching method of a particular subject. In addition, the authority and development represented by students’ narrative and original preferences are part of what makes education meaningful and fulfilling for Tietze. In Tietze’s case studies, the importance of jazz in social activism was also revealed.

The genre folk and jazz with funky style is popularized by singer-songwriter Ember Swift. In his 2005 article, Cohen maintained that Ember Swift had been playing politically-charged music since the year 1997. Ember Swift independently managed her own label under Few’ll Ignite Sound which also serves as an essential resource center for other artists. Ember was able to produce and release eight albums under her music outfit. Cohen emphasized that Ember Swift is expert in blending politics, activism and do-it-yourself philosophy.

A persistent performer, Ember Swift and musical associate Lyndell Montgomery for the bass, electric violin, and backing vocals play over 200 shows per year. The latest album of Ember Swift entitled Disarming that was released in the year 2004, talks such stimulating issues such as political responsibility, water privatization and consumer capitalism. All the way through, Ember Swift finds time to breathe fresh air into the commercial culture that exhausts the music industry. Besides, Ember Swift is also accountable for her views, too. Finally, in the year 2002, Ember Swift offered her way to dissent post-September 11 security legislation in Canada.

Love Songs That We Hear and Sing

The most captivating lyrics come from love songs that are performed by famous singers like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Whitney Houston. These singers were proven to melt one’s heart by just starting to sing a love song.

But the most common reaction in hearing love songs is feeling sad with mixed feelings thereafter. I am not saying that this happens all the time. What I am trying to convey is the idea that if we listen to music particularly love songs, there are past events that makes us happy and sad that we automatically remember. I am referring to bittersweet memories that are kept sacred by time.

Some famous love songs that make us remember bittersweet memories include Through the Rain, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Loving Arms, Almost Over You, and even I Can’t Cry Hard Enough. These love songs are played in the radio always while music videos are visible in the entertainment channels too.

There are three things that I can say on this topic. First, love songs are the music of the heart when love is absent. Love can be absent because it is beyond our control. For instance, we have past relationships that we consider important in our lives but we cannot keep forever since it does not work. All we can do is to keep it within and when we hear any love song that fits our stories, our hearts listen to it. Second, music heals all wounds. Love songs are very powerful in changing one’s mood. We may forget the pain that we encountered in the past if we listen to love songs especially if we already moved on. And third, music is life. Music is part and parcel of life because it makes us complete. Without music, the cultivation of other artistic talents is rendered futile. Hence, music specifically love songs, are important in this life.

Music and Life of Miley Cyrus

She was given the name Miley because she kept on smiling as a child. Miley’s energetic aura and talent in music brought her to stardom aside from the fact that she was born in a family of performers. And that’s it; she was the daughter of country artist Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Leticia. At a young age, she already auditioned for myriad roles with Disney Channel. But, she was too small at that time that she was told to return when she’s old enough to enter be part of any show.

With that, there are three reasons why we should adore Miley Cyrus. First, her persistence in the showbiz industry made her famous. Persistence is not a simple word but easy to play in terms of Miley Cyrus. Being rejected by executives at Disney Channel due to small physical stature, she continued to present herself during audition opportunities. Her ability to persevere provides her the best spot of her own in Hollywood. Second, Miley Cyrus knows what she wants in life. Miley’s words that the last thing she would do is to disappoint her parents are very admirable. At a young age, Miley already knows how to play as role model to teenagers like her. She also knows the temptations and pitfalls while being famous. There is no doubt that she can be easily guided by her parents while climbing the wall of stardom. And third, her talent in music is unique and superb. Cyrus was shortly selected for the Hannah Montana production since of she is very energetic and had an active live performance. People would comment that Miley seemed to be a kid who have a zest for life, and likened her to be a cross between Hilary Duff and Shania Twain. Aside from that, Disney also cast her own father, Billy Ray Cyrus to play her on-screen dad. From then on, Cyrus has earned worldwide success with her hit television series, Hannah Montana, where she plays Miley Stewart, a regular girl transformed rock star. Her alter ego, Hannah Montana, is a musician by night, while Miley is just a high school student by daytime.

Miley’s success in Hollywood is evident. She has garnered quite a few awards in 2007, as she was able to accept the Choice Summer Artist and Choice TV Actress for Comedy in the Teen Choice Awards. She also earned the Poptastic Queen Award from Popstar Magazine and the Favorite TV Actress Award from Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Aside from acting, the young artist also sings and has recorded two albums to date, the first being a soundtrack for Hannah Montana and the second, which was released in June 2007, is a double album entitled Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, which debuted her personal music style. The year 2007 also brought her more projects to work on as she launched her tour which took her to over fifty destinations across America. Knowing these achievements, Miley Cyrus is indeed a total performer in the music and acting scene.

Charice Pempengco: Her Ways To Stardom

The singer developed her music around pop, R&B, and soul genres. Aside from that, she also appeared in the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, performed in Madison Square Garden, and even at Ellen DeGeneres Show and surely appear in other famous shows in the future.

Groomed to be one of the best in the international music industry, I have no doubts that Charice would become a music icon. Celebrities in Hollywood already knew her and even Paris Hilton is so fond of her. She entered the international music scene via Youtube.com just like Arnel Pineda. It is amazing to know that the talented girl found her way to stardom.

There are few lessons learned in the life of Charice Pempengco. Her deep love of music is undeniable and the society loves people who never keep their talents undeveloped. Music, life, and society are intertwined and we cannot separate music from life itself. Hence, Charice Pempengco’s the legion of fans loved her because she was so eager to share and develop her talent fearlessly. Aside from that, the girl is willing to climb the stairs of stardom no matter what. She loved her mother so much that she is ready to protest if there are negative comments about her mother thrown against her family. I must say, the way Charice handles life and being famous through music is valuable and deserves credit. The adorable petite singer will surely make it big in the international music industry as time is counting. And before we know it, we will hear her songs anywhere.

The Linkage of Life and Music

It cannot be denied that there are many people who are interested in music. Record labels, singers, concerts and music videos surround us daily. But, are we able to decipher why music is so related with enjoying life? If the answer is no, possible insights can be learned in this blog.

First, music is addicting to us. The reason behind this simple belief is the innate longing of man to listen and make music. In my entire life, I still have to meet someone who does not like singing or listening to music. That is why, record copies of popular songs, classic, and other genres are always sold in the stores, internet, and even local shopping malls.

Second, music plays a vital role in keeping the society at ease despite the dynamic changes people encountered. Music calms the heart of men. Music even naturally heals emotional wounds. In church worship meetings, music is made an integral part in praying to God. Therefore, the power of music is indispensable in achieving peace and serenity.

And third, music is not limited to few people and is accessible to all. The nature of music is very pervasive as it has to be shared rather than kept. Thus, all people who are capable of hearing may listen to music. Those who are talented in singing may also develop and hone their skills and talent in music. Nowadays, there are people who made it to the international music scene like Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda of Journey due to their ability in developing their singing talent and share it to the world. It was also proven by the said singers that the internet is one way of discovering talents in music. Thus, music and its blessings is free for everyone who are loyal to its power and mystery.

Finally, the linkage of life and music is very thin. We may know that we are enjoying life when we love popular songs and even classic lyrics and its sound. All we have to do is to share our voices to others and make this world a lovely place to live with.

Journey's Arnel Pineda

Others view it as a dream. Yet, some people view life as difficult. We experience problems in this life to remind us that we were just given an opportunity to live here on earth by God. Since, not all people believe in God, there is no need to debate on the matter. As long as each person strives to survive here on earth, we all have a chance.

The society nowadays is full of trials and problems. The economic problem is worsening and news that crime rate is increasing continues to exist. The greatest problem to fight with this time is poverty.

Speaking of poverty, I know someone who managed to become successful despite poverty problems. In the field of music, this person is very active. His name is Arnel Pineda. I was amazed on his life story that was featured on televisions and the Internet. Arnel Pineda was discovered in You Tube when a friend uploaded his videos in one of his provincial shows. Guitarist of legendary band Journey named Neal Schon discovered him in You Tube just in time for his search for the next front man of Journey. The point is that Arnel never stopped dreaming despite being homeless for years. His love for music is undying, probably because his deceased mother taught him the mystery of music. It was reported that Arnel’s mother inspired him to learn singing. Indeed, Arnel Pineda is not just lucky; he signed up to fate and worked hard for it. As a result, reality comes in that he would become Journey’s new front man, and fate is just a matter of perseverance and faith.

You can catch Journey and Arnel Pineda in this tour schedules posted in their official website:

May 23, 2009 - SACRAMENTO , CA - Raleys Field ----- 9:00 pm

June 06, 2009 - , Sweden - Sweden Rock Festival

June 08, 2009 - Oslo, Norway - Sentrum

June 12, 2009 - Dublin, Ireland - O2 Arena Festival

June 14, 2009 - Donington, UK - Download Festival

June 16, 2009 - Paris, France - Bataclan

June 17, 2009 - Amsterdam, Holland - Heineken Music Hall

June 19, 2009 - Bilbao, Spain - Kobetasonik Festival

June 21, 2009 - Zurich, Switzerland - Volkhaus

June 22, 2009 - Munich, Germany - Tollwood Festival

June 24, 2009 - Hamburg, Germany - Stadtpark

June 26, 2009 - Balingen, Germany - Bang Your Head

June 27, 2009 - Belgium - Graspop

July 18, 2009 - Cadott, WI - Chippewa Valley Rock Festival

July 23, 2009 - Paso Robles, CA - California Mid-State Fair

August 16, 2009 - Indianapolis, IN - Indiana State Fair

August 21, 2009 - Louisville, KY - State Fair - Freedom Hall

August 23, 2009 - Des Moines, IA - State Fair - Grandstand

Lastly, music is the means by which Arnel was blessed with abundance in life. Because of his love in singing, he was fated to become famous. Knowing that Arnel Pineda is a Filipino, an Asian at that, it was not impossible for anyone to be discovered to be part of the music industry. With the right attitude and focus, life may be turned into an interesting story to beacon with.

Peace Activism Through Media and the Arts

Without peace, happiness and wealth become futile. Peace is also a prized possession of individuals who live as normal beings. Hence, those who seek chaos and disharmony do not care about living a normal life.

When wars and rumors of wars, poverty, and natural calamities are ahead of us, our primary concern is the safety of our family and loved ones. Different reactions of the people will come into the surface if harmful activities are done by others depending upon its potential impact of the society. In this case, people tend to react through channels of effective communication tools that available in the society. Despite the presence of people who display apathy and inaction to these harmful issues, many activists were able to do something to react and prepare for anything detrimental to the society.

There are people who are called peace activists who are trying hard to improve the society in terms of peace and harmony. These people are involved with peace movements organized by intellectual and concerned citizens. Peace movement is composed of people and organizations that share a collective attitude that peace must be achieved through non-violent means-preferably through cooperation, not competition, among nations. Shaping public opinion in order to oppose endorsement of violence by political leaders is the primary vehicle of peace activists in promoting peace in the society.

There are two types of peace activists that exist in the societal mainstream. These are conventional and unconventional activists. Conventional activists function within the system. They seek out to modify its policies, perhaps by influencing the choice of candidates for political office, modifying the platforms of the major political parties, or promoting campaigns to adjust government policy. Since they are within the system, they are more likely than unconventional peace activists to have admittance to the media, appearing on TV talk shows and op-ed pages in newspapers. Some are in tactical positions to influence the public, as in the case of Senator Wayne Morse, the first Congressperson to call for an end to the war in Vietnam. Unconventional peace activists function outside the system. They generate and maintain peace organizations and seek to inform and influence the public through a diversity of means including literature, the Internet, letters to editors, music, demonstrations, vigils, and picketing weapons sites. Unconventional activists differ from the conventional type in being disaffected with the established order or with the policies of a government in power, as studies in Germany and the United States have revealed. They see little hope for change by working within the system.

Blogging in the Internet is the latest trend of unconventional activism. Topics about peace and economic progress are tackled by bloggers in order to inform the whole world about issues that should be dealt with. Blogging also shapes public opinion about political, cultural, and economic issues that would cultivate a better channel for peace activism. Blogging also includes music reviews, product reviews, sports commentaries, website reviews, summaries, personal opinions about political, economic, and cultural topics. Bloggers must be responsible for this activity though. Music is also one of the most influential venue for peace activism. Due to its widespread exposure in the society as an art, its lyrics could influence people to do good. If the people are informed about the latest events of countries and the world, policies of the government, foreign policy, and economic conditions, they can be prepared in everything and peace is attainable. Hence, peace activism through media and the arts is the safest way to make this world a better place to live.
