Bobbi Kristina Brown Relationships Suggested During Nick Gordon Engagement Rumors

About a week after Bobbi Kristina Brown was seen in an Oprah Winfrey interview talking about her mother Whitney Houston's death, a site is suggesting 5 male celebs she should date. This comes as there are rumors floating around that the 19-year-old is secretly engaged to Whitney's adopted son Nick Gordon. Is it too soon, or right, to even suggest different celebs for the late singer's troubled daughter to date?

According to the article from VIBE, there are five young male celebrities they feel would "treat Bobbi Kristina like a princess." They include Diggy Simmons and Zac Effron, as well as rapper T.I.'s son. The problem here right off the beat is that Domani Uriah, the son of T.I. and ex-girlfriend Lashon Dixon, is just 12-years-old. Not a good idea by VIBE to even suggest the possibility!

Diggy Simmons is the son of Reverend Run, from RUN DMC and "Run's House" on MTV. He's paving his own solo rap career at a young age of just 16. Still that's too young for Bobbi Kristina to consider dating. Why give her more troubles than she already has to deal with?

Zac Effron is 24-years-old, and while he may be age appropriate, would he date Bobbi Kristina? It's always possible, but based on his history and the choice of women he has, this seems like a strange suggestions as well. Effron is well known for dating his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens for about five years.

Another suggestion made is Tristan Wilds who is known for his work on HBO's "The Wire" and in CW's reboot of "90210." He's 22-years-old and has a record deal with Ten2one which saw him release two songs so far. Perhaps getting together with Bobbi Kristina Brown would lead to bigger and better things? He could team up with her, and Ray J, and make considerable connections. Not only that, but he'd probably gain quite a bit of recognition from dating the late Whitney Houston's daughter.

Of course the one thing to remember is that Whitney Houston's death was just over a month ago. Suggesting celebrities for her to date right now probably isn't the best idea by VIBE. Right now is still a time of grieving and healing for Bobbi Kristina. One she's done that she may also need some support working on her own life issues. A male suitor just might be able to give her the necessary support she needs to get on the right track. Until then, it's probably best to let the girl alone so she can recover from the untimely demise of her mother.

Baby Blue Ivy Carter Born to Beyonce & Jay-Z

The news hit late, late Saturday evening, with most people finding out Sunday morning. Beyonce and Jay-Z have finally had their baby, the one that had been keeping the hip hop universe and gossip world on the edge of its seats. Beyonce's baby girl was born via C-section at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC, and officially bestowed with the name "Blue Ivy Carter." This is apparently Jigga's favorite color, and probably has the makings of some sort of line of children's products branded after the Carter daughter.

There's been fans and haters all over Twitter, including other members of the hip hop community. Rappers including Talib Kweli and Diddy, as well as Def Jam founder Russell Simmons all tweeted congratulations. So did Rihanna, La Toya Jackson, The Dream, and 100's of others. MTV has a report here on some of the hip hop community's tweets.

Of course now everyone will wait for the first pictures, videos, and words from Beyonce and Jay-Z. Everyone will also wait to hear what the first song lyrics will be to mention their daughter. Will it be a new Jay-Z rap line, or a song created by Beyonce declaring her love for the new life she's brought forth? It should become much more interesting for Mr. and Mrs. Carter and Blue Ivy as 2012 continues!

The surprise Beyonce baby bump reveal, along with controversies involving Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj made a recent list of crazy moments from 2011. Why were Breezy and Nicki on the list, and who else made it on there for this past year's moments?

According to VIBE's "That Sh*t Cray!" list, they selected 10 of the craziest moments from celebs this past year. One was Beyonce's pregnancy which broke a record with its number of Twitter mentions after the MTV VMAs. Another was Chris Brown going ballistic on Good Morning America after he was asked one too many Rihanna questions. There was also Nicki Minaj, not for her GMA nip slip, but instead for her strange moment in mid-July. Apparently, Nicki got hit in the lower lip by a man, but never pressed charges. Some presumed it was a close friend named Safaree Samuels, who may have been her secret boyfriend.

Also on the list is the guy from LMFAO for his altercation with Mitt Romney on a flight, as well as Wiz Khalifa for performing a mock sex act on stage with girlfriend, Amber Rose. Rick Ross was put on the list for the scary seizures he suffered this past year, while Charlie Sheen got on there for his crazy behavior back in February and March.

Looking back, it certainly was a year of craziness for many celebrities. Some were good (Beyonce expecting), while other's not so good (Rick Ross' health situation). There were wardrobe malfunctions, crazy outbursts, good announcements, and plenty of spotlight, both positive and negative. Whether or not these celebrities want to remember these moments for life is another story! Here's looking forward to even more crazy celebrity antics in 2012!

Rapper Heavy D Dead at Age 44

A true legend in the hip hop genre has passed away today, with sad news that rapper Heavy D is dead. The "overweight lover" famous for songs including "Now That We Found Love" died at age 44.

An early report from TMZ indicates that Heavy D, real name Dwight Arrington Myers, had to be rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles earlier today. Myers was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Apparently, there had been a 911 call made which reported "an unconscious male on the walkway" outside of Heavy D's Beverly Hills home during Tuesday morning. Help rushed to the scene and found Myers conscious and able to speak. Unfortunately he died a short time later of being taken to the hospital.

Heavy D is considered one of the pioneers in rap as well as the mainstream rap movement. His videos frequently played on "YO! MTV Raps," and they included "You Can't See What I Can See" the crew jam, "Don't Curse," and "Is It Good to You." Heavy D is also famous for creating the theme song for the sketch comedy show "In Loving Color." Most recently, he had a cameo in the movie "Tower Heist," and appeared at BET's 2011 Hip-Hop Awards as a performer.

For those that remember listening to Heavy D's music, this is a major loss. His work has inspired many other musicians along the way, and paved the way for rap to be among mainstream music. Heavy D is being remembered by fellow musicians and celebs for his good nature and contributions to music.

RIP to one of rap's true greats whose musical legacy will not be forgotten.

Fabolous Twitter Brings Ray J Fight at Concert

It appears the Fabolous Twitter account has been quite active and popular over the past day or so. The rap star has been tweeting quite a bit of rants and what appears to be a Twitter rap chorus. Not only that, but it seems one of his tweets has upset singer Ray J.

Fabolous has even been tweeting about other celebs including comedian Kevin Hart as well as rappers Diddy, Stylehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifs P and Jadakiss. The rapper who was recently rumored in a beef with singer Ray J, tweeted about him on the 18th saying:

Jus ran into my n---- @RayJ at @iamdiddy dinner.. He told me & @KevinHart4real that it was a f----d up edit & b-----s was there!!

Fabolous, reportedly at the Palms casino just hours ago, also tweeted about the former Lox rappers appearing there with him for a concert performance. The rappers were part of a show at The Pearl at The Palms with tickets costing $45.50 to $77.35 for an all ages show.

The rapper included a shot of The Palms sign for good measure, just so people would know he was really there. The good news is that fans apparently enjoyed the show and continue to support Fab, the rapper behind "You Be Killin' Em."

Meanwhile there is an apparent beef going on between Fabolous and Ray J which involves boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. Reportedly, Ray J is good friends with Mayweather and said he had heard enough of Fab's Twitter jokes. Whether or not Fabolous and Ray J have really thrown punches at one another is still up for debate. A recent report is noting that Ray J had in fact been detained by the police for the incident, with the rapper saying "I got detained... I got kicked out of the m******king Palms hotel! Police arrested me, handcuffs..." In the meantime, Fabolous is a free man with free speech, who looks to continue rapping and tweeting, until he irritates someone else on his Twitter account.

Billboard Music Awards 2011 Performers

Sunday will mark the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. There should be a good variety of performers on hand from hip hop music to celebrate this latest show in Vegas.

There will be a Lil Wayne Billboard appearance. He'll team up with singer Mary J Blige to perform a duet together on stage. This will be their song from the Diddy-Dirty Money album, also scheduled to appear on Blige's upcoming solo album.

Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green and Snoop Dogg are among the other performers scheduled for the show. Among the presenters will be everyone's favorite young couple of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

The 2011 Billboard Music Awards will also award Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce Knowles, with a special Millenium award. The show airs Sunday night starting at 8PM EST on ABC. Check local listings for appropriate channel in your area.

Rihanna Almost Naked for 'All of the Lights' Video by Kanye West

The new Kanye West music video has arrived for his latest track, "All of the Lights." Many hip hop and music fans will be pleased to see a nearly naked Rihanna. That's right, this is Rihanna's almost nude video debut (leaked sex tapes aside).

This song, from West's album, was featured prominently almost like the official theme song of NBA All-Star Weekend 2011, and it seems to fit. Not only that, but Rihanna, who is featured on the song and in the video rocked the Halftime show in Los Angeles this weekend. After several songs, Drake showed up to help her on "What's My Name?" followed by Kanye West appearing on stage to do "All of the Lights."

The video, seen via YouTube below, was done by Hype Williams and features you guessed it, "All of the Lights," including West rocking up on a police car. Still the best lights seem to be the ones behind RiRi as she sings "want you to see everything." In a revealing black outfit, we almost do!

Grammy Winners 2011: Arcade Fire engulfs Eminem

There may have been some intense special effect fire during Eminem's performance at the 2011 Grammy Awards Sunday night, but another type of fire spoiled his party. The Detroit rapper, nominated for ten awards, lost out to Arcade Fire for the highly-coveted Album of the Year award.

Eminem had been nominated for "Recovery" for Album of the Year, and was competing against Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lady Antebellum and Arcade Fire. In a major shocker or upset, it was Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" which rocked the decision makers enough to garner the win.

Still, Eminem won several awards on the night including the consolation prize of Best Rap Album. He beat out Jay-Z, Drake and B.o.B for the trophy. Also, Eminem rocked the stage with Rihanna and Adam Levine for "Love the Way You Lie," then assisted his mentor, Dr. Dre, in the new track "I Need a Doctor."

Other winners on the night included Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum, Muse, Miranda Lambert and Lady Gaga. Newcomer Justin Bieber saw himself shut out in two major categories, falling to Gaga for the Pop Album award and in a shocking loss, losing Best New Artist to Esperanza Spalding? (That's right, who?!)

Golden Globe Awards 2011 Winners & Show Recap

The Golden Globes went down Sunday night, as host Ricky Gervais took shots at everyone from Angelina Jolie to Bruce Willis to the hosting FHPA. One remark later in the night may have even cost Ricky Gervais further qualifications, as the HFPA president responded to Gervais' remark that the HFPA took bribes for "The Tourist" to be nominated for anything.

Nonetheless, despite some of the jabs at Angelina, Bruce and Downey Jr., the show went on and Golden Globe award winners were made for the 68th annual edition. Winning the Best Picture awards were "The Social Network" for a Drama and "The Kids Are All Right" for Best Musical or Comedy. Aaron Sorkin won an award for his "Social Network" screenplay while its director also grabbed an award. Colin Firth picked up the Best Actor in a Drama award for "The King's Speech." Natalie Portman won the Best Actress Award for a Drama for her dark performance in "Black Swan."

In television, "Glee" won a slew of awards, while "Boardwalk Empire" saw Steve Buscemi win his first ever Golden Globe. Also on the night, Robert DeNiro was given an achievement award presented by Matt Damon. DeNiro joked that he enjoyed Damon's appearance in "The Fighter," after Damon's introduction included Matt recalling various DeNiro films and then delivering lines by other actors in the movie.

A who's who in Hollywood made up the audience which featured Clint Eastwood, Brad and Angelina, Tom Hanks and an interesting table arrangement where Jimmy Fallon sat with LL Cool J and Diddy. As for presenters, everyone from Megan Fox to Justin Bieber to Robert Pattinson and even Jane Fonda were on stage. Fonda made her first appearance there in over 25 years. Also upcoming superhero stars "Captain America" and "Thor" shared the stage as well as Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans presented.

All-in-all, it was standard format for the Golden Globes 2011 award winners, as they followed suit from the Critics Choice Awards and will likely carry over to Oscar wins. Ricky Gervais certainly made his share of remarks to keep people buzzing after the event, but he may have to wonder about his friendships and potential work in the wake of some of those quips.

2011 Golden Globe Nominations for Best Picture

The night of Sunday, January 16, 2011, the stars of Hollywood will assemble for the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The major award show will honor the brightest and best achievements for the past year in movies and television.

It could be a big night for several actors and specific shows/movies. One category that many people will be particularly interested in will be the Best Picture for Drama. The contenders for this award include "The Social Network" which recently won the Critics Choice Award. The movie tells the tale of Facebook's creation and it's young CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield co-star in the film which only was second in ratings to "Toy Story 3" from critics in 2010.

Competing with "Social Network" will be "The Fighter" which features Mark Wahlberg as boxer 'Irish' Micky Ward. Christian Bale recently won a Critics Choice Award for this film as the crack addict brother/trainer of Micky, named Dicky. Bale may be taking home the Globe as well.

News: Sofia Vergara nothing fits her for Golden Globes?!

Natalie Portman also won an award for her dark performance in "Black Swan" at Critics Choice 2011. Portman may repeat with a win Sunday night, and hopes that "Black Swan" can become the "Golden Swan" by winning best picture.

Also in competition for this category are "The King's Speech" starring Colin Firth and "Inception" starring Leo DiCaprio. "Inception" scored big at the box office, but has received mix reviews from critics. The films is considered an epic sci-fi/action/drama masterpiece which was directed by Christopher Nolan of "Dark Knight" fame. "King's Speech" is currently in rotation at theaters along with most of the other nominees. The expectation though is that the story of Facebook will get the "Like" tonight when it comes to Best Picture of 2010.

Kanye West's Unfinished 'Monster' Music Video Leaks Online

The new Kanye West 'Monster' video leak has the internet talking. This appears to be one unique, gory, controversial and intriguing new video on the way from West, Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj. The unfinished new video of the collaborative joint from West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is seen below. It's definitely dark and twisted, and as Kanye says in the song "I cross the line, but I let God decide."

Two more videos below. The behind the scenes YouTube video below shows the filming of Rick Ross' scenes from the video. Apparently Ross plays the part of some sort of Hannibal Lecter eating a bloody meal with a female layed out on the dinner table. There's also a 40 second sneak preview video which has been making the rounds on YouTube. West probably isn't happy to see these leaks and may be severing some heads for real soon.

Other scenes have been described to show Kanye West holding a severed head and making out with a dead chick. Jay-Z is shown in a full suit rapping in front of a dead girl's body on the couch. Nicki Minaj will apparently be rapping to another version of herself strapped to an executioner's chair. While this video probably would've been best for Halloween 2010, obviously the Kanye West album came out weeks after that.

Singer Madonna has unveiled a brand new fitness center over in Mexico City, Mexico. The new Madonna gym is seductively titled "Hard Rock Candy," and according to a recent report by MSNBC, Madonna may be in for a fight to get it operational.

While the gym may provide a great fitness environment with one of the top celeb names behind it, it lacks a security plan and a land use permit. MSNBC is reporting that the gym will have until Friday to get the proper paperwork submitted for permits. They also need to prove they have adequate parking. Madonna, get your people on it!

Clearly one person who stays in great shape is singer Madonna, who seems to age gracefully. Wondering how Madonna kept in shape all those years? It was thanks to personal trainer Pat Manocchia, who also is famous for dating Julia Roberts and currently runs an $8,000 a year fitness complex of his own in Manhattan.

Forbes Unveils Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2010 Edition

Jay-Z has topped the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list for 2010. The rap star earned $63 million in 2010. The second place entrant, Sean "Diddy" Combs earned less than half Jigga's amount with just $30 million.

Just $30 million right? It's being reported that stability was key in 2010 because the economy's effected everyone, even rappers. However, these guys are still pulling in serious bank.

Drake's not only got the hit album, but deals with Sprite and Virgin Airlines, plus that whole acting thing. And then there's Lil' Wayne, who was able to go up in his earnings by about $2mill despite the fact he's currently doing time. Maybe jail time really does help rap careers.

Kanye West will give 2010 MTV VMA's Performance

Have the MTV viewers forgave and forgotten Kanye West? According to the latest reports, rap star Kanye West will be a performer at this year's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA's). The rapper is infamous for his on-stage interruption when Taylor Swift was winning her first ever VMA at the show in 2009. The incident brought a lot of negative criticism towards Kanye and rightfully so.

Now it appears Kanye's back with new perspective. He apologized multiple times to Swift and publicly, but are fans ready to re-embrace the rapper? He appeared as part of the 2010 remake of "We are the World", and kept a low profile otherwise. Kanye had a few guest spots and production offerings to the likes of Rick Ross and Drake among others. It left fans wondering what was next for Kanye in terms of his own solo career.

Have no fear, weeks ago Mr. West re-emerged with a new song, but it offered no apologies. Kanye's latest hit single is "Power" an ego-driven rap which will come from his next solo album "Good Ass Job". Recently, he debuted another song featuring Beyonce from the album due out in November. Kanye's already performed for the BET Awards, but really needs to do a "Good Ass Job" on stage at this year's VMA's in order to sell music lovers on his act once again. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards air live on Sunday, September 12 at 9PM ET.

Rapper Guru of Gang Starr dies, age 43

The hip hop community and the world has suffered a great loss as of Monday. Rapper Guru has passed away at the age of 43. The Gang Starr founder and influential solo artist had been fighting a year long battle with cancer. Just several months ago, he slipped into a coma and was hospitalized. Unfortunately he lost his battle to the devastating disease yesterday.

Gang Starr were early pioneers in hip hop, with a slew of top hits and headbobbing tracks on their resume. In addition, Guru and Premier have appeared on numerous other works. Guru had success with several solo albums including his "Jazzmatazz" series of albums. His Jazzmatazz Vol. 3: Streetsoul reached #32 on the Billboard 200, his highest charting solo work.

Reportedly, Guru wrote a letter on his deathbed which he put in the care of producer Solar. The letter asked Solar to handle Guru's affairs upon death and to make sure DJ Premier does not operate under the Gang Starr name. Read the full letter by Guru here.

Deepest condolences go out to all of Guru's family, friends and fans. As a longtime fan of Gang Starr, this is definitely a sad loss for the hip hop genre as Guru is one of the greats with recognizable and distinguished rap vocals and skill that will be unmatched.

Real World DC cast boring? Fresh Meat up next!

Wednesday night saw the sad? conclusion to yet another season of Real World. It seemed to fly by, because these kids were just having too much fun. According to a recent article at Gawker, that's all they've been doing lately. Drinking, having sex and panda-ing or pandering to the camera. At least on the upcoming return to New Orleans season someone's tooth brush gets pissed on and the cops are called in to investigate. Not sure if it's Puck's son, or a new hellraising cast member.

The latest show was set in our nation's capital, to try to show us that some people are concerned with issues. When the DC series first started, there was no mention of any internships or the roommates being required to get a job. That's because they didn't have to this time around. Maybe it's because in Cancun we saw one roommate get canned for not working, and another kicked out of the apartment for horsing around. Still, both found their way back into the show.

But let's not digress. Let's sum up what we saw and might have learned on the Real World DC from the characters:

The only roommates who really seemed to score bigtime were the goofy kid, Josh and Ty when Emily was giving it up. Otherwise we didn't really see Erika, Ashley or Callie get much action. The Vegas cast must have shut their TV's off halfway through this season.

Emily and Ty were really into each other but couldn't have a relationship because Emily can't figure herself out so she pushes people away. She translates that into some sort of animosity towards Ty due to her sexual frustration, but then blames him, when after all he was the one who revealed his true feelings about their relationship.

Ashley is the "realest" one in the house because she can be a bitch and tell everyone what's up. But she has deep issues and cries when she can't stand the heat. She may have been the main reason that Erika left the house.

Erika is just like Ashley, she fights depression, but she just can't stay in the house. She wasn't happy there and she didn't develop any close enough friendships to really stick it out. The roomies get pissed because they think she just can't live without her boyfriend and is being whiny. Ashley is the biggest instigator of them all though and keeps pushing Erika. Finally, Erika decides to leave the place early (two weeks before the show ends which is probably a month or so real life time) to go be with her boyfriend in Cleveland. According to the RW Reunion show she did pretty well for herself in Cleveland after leaving.

Mike let us all know just where he was at sexually, or did he? One minute he's in love with Tanner, the next he's making out with Ashley, or Callie, or finds some guy at the club "irresistible". On the final episode, Mike made his greatest victory speech of all, as a big step towards politics when he told a blurred out citizen wielding anti-gay signs how he felt, and tried to make peace. Good thing Mike's dad was with him, he had his back. We saw countless examples of Mike beaming because he met some politician who told him he "had a future". Don't politicians tell most people that?

Callie likes photography and it's a very challenging career but she's going to be a bigtime photographer. On the final episode she sold some of her photos for a charity event and it was her defining moment of the season. That and when she had to go topless for RW Truth or Dare, making Ty and the male roomies go gaga. Otherwise she was pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of DC.

Josh is a bigtime rock-rap-star who can't sing too well, but can perform like the best of them. He found a band before the other aspiring singer, Erica. Josh had his first big show on the second to last episode of the season, and totally rocked it in front of his roomies and a crowd of about 100. He likes to wear black vests, skinny jeans and cool shades. Don't hit on his bisexual mom, even if you're a big dude like Ty, or he'll knock your ass out.

Andrew was the most un-funny panda-hat wearing roommate ever cast on the show. His schtick was drawing cartoons, acting goofy, raunchy and sexually awkward around girls. Yet, he was the one who ended up with a girlfriend while everyone else went home alone. Andrew also had a one show internship where he got to follow a real life newspaper reporter around and then draw a cartoon about their visit to the White House. The newspaper boss loved his cartoon, but we never saw him go back to work, ever again. He also got dropped on his head off a balcony by Ty, and Ty wasn't kicked out of the house, because Ty was like a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with alcohol. The roomies held one of those serious meetings in which nothing really happened, except they all got to defer to the next roommate's decision.

Classic fights and feuds: Andrew & Ashley's pizza shoving match, Ashley vs Erika's tantrums, Emily vs Ty in the sexual frustration match, everyone versus Ashley...basically this season was not good TV for arguments or fights.

And with that we end this 23rd politically-charged season of the Real World. The roommates all attended a gay and lesbian pride parade on the final episode so it appeared like they did something. Who knows how many of the cast members would have survived if MTV made them work at a job again, but at least they weren't rewarded for their laziness with another free trip to Europe or Cancun.

That Fresh Meat challenge show will be starting up next Wednesday. On that one, the kids have to participate in actual physical tasks, but they're still allowed to call each other names, throw punches (that don't connect), drink and hook up. Stay tuned for more reality TV fun!

Twilight Eclipse movie trailer video debuts!

The newest installment in the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series will be "Eclipse", a movie featuring Edward, Jacob and Bella all back again for more romance and action. In the newest film, Team Edward and Team Jacob will form an alliance to do battle with an evil breed of vampires. In effect, they will fight to stop a female vampire from hunting down Bella, but at the same time both Jacob and Edward will compete for Bella's romantic attention. The Twilight Eclipse trailer officially debuted on Thursday, March 11, 2010 to the delight of vampire and werewolf lovers everywhere.

Gorrilaz Stylo video featuring Bruce Willis

The newest music video "Stylo" from cartoonish band Gorillaz is definitely one to watch and savor. Complete with animation, real life action sequences, cool stunts, car chases, shootouts and more, it makes you wonder "what ever happened to the days when music videos were stylish and creative?"

In this new video, the Gorillaz trio is leading the way on a high speed chase down a stretch of desolate roadway. It look as if they were just part of a heist or some other sort of bloody mayhem. Along the way a donut-eating police officer tries to chase them down, but fails, and then the ultimate hero comes into the mix. That's right, a fully gun-toting Bruce Willis enters the chase with gun-a-blasting. The Gorillaz do their best to shake him, but let's not ruin the video's dramatic ending...

Gangstarr's Guru in coma after heart attack

According to news reports, on Sunday February 28th, rapper Guru (Keith Elam) suffered a heart attack. The incident sent him into a coma and he is scheduled for surgery later Monday at a NY hospital. The news was confirmed by Guru's Gang Starr DJ, DJ Premier on a Hip Hop Nation radio show on Sunday.

Gangstarr hasn't released a group album since 2003's "The Ownerz" but there were recently hinted-at rumors that the group was playing a new album. In recent times, Guru has released solo works while Premier continues supplying other rappers with background beats. Guru's released four Jazzmatazz albums on his own, and been part of live tours for those works. With the recent news of his condition, several of these live tours have been indefinitely postponed.

No further news is known on Guru's condition beyond his cardiac arrest and surgery scheduled for later on today. Wishing the best for Guru in this tough situation.

Ashley Lindley Playboy after Real World DC?

Fans looking to see Real World D.C. cast member Ashley Lindley naked might get their wishes granted. The current roomie on MTV's DC season of the Real World did a private test shooting for Playboy and was photographed by Mikki Chernoff before being selected to the Real World cast. So don't rule out the possibility that an Ashley Lindley Playboy spread could still happen. Ashley has admitted she enjoyed the test shoot and would do it again if she had the chance:

"They were incredibly professional," she continued. "[They] made me feel very comfortable and I had a lot of fun ... In my opinion, Playboy is a tasteful magazine that shows women in their natural form beautifully. I feel honored that they were even remotely interested in me."

For now, Ashley continues as the feisty and opinionated brunette babe on the current season of MTV's Real World reality show. She was recently seen on the Wednesday Real World DC Aftershow hosted by Mark Long. Ashley sported a short and low-cut pink skirt, along with black boots and a big belt (in pics). She tweeted on her Twitter account she was happy with the feedback about her wardrobe selection:

Ashley Lindley is currently 22 years old and has been at the center of at least three fights in the household so far. She had her first dispute with Mike, then one with Andrew when she accused him of roughousing too much (almost as if she was looking for drama), and then a more recent period of arguing with Erika. Ashley had Erika in tears on several occasions and at one point it looked like Erika was ready to leave the DC house for good.

They also discussed on the DC Aftershow the hot topic of who may have had sex in the DC house, with host Mark Long suggesting maybe Mike and Lindsey had sex. The duo was a bit secretive and non-responsive in terms of giving a clear answer, but Ashley noted on her Twitter profile that they'll reveal their answer on the DC Reunion show...Stay tuned for whether or note there's an Ashley Lindley nude Playboy pictorial waiting to be published in the tradition of other former MTV femme fatales who have graced the mag's pages.

Recently unveiled at the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver was the 25th anniversary remake of "We are the World". The newly updated version of the original features over 80 artists including singers, rappers and even actors such as Jeff Daniels and Hayden Pannetierre. Not everyone has huge roles in the song, outside of singing the chorus, but there's some interesting ways they updated the 2010 We are the World, including a surprise appearance by Kanye West towards the end. 2010 Grammy Awards - Rap winners

The 2010 Grammy Awards featured a Triple threat contest between Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga, with the teenage music star taking home some of the biggest awards of the night, including Album of the Year for "Fearless". Meanwhile, the Grammy show saw an interesting lineup of performances trying to stretch the limits of artistic creativity on stage. These included P!nk's cirque de soleil like performance with the superstar wearing very little and suspended from the ceiling dripping wet. Or there was the Green Day American Idiot musical performance of "21 Guns" by the band as well as their Broadway cast. Add to that a nice tribute to Michael Jackson done by Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Celine Dion, Usher and Carrie Underwood, complete with 3-D effects.

There were also a few rap/hip-hop performances, with T-Pain & Jamie Foxx doing "Blame it on the Alcohol". They had Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash come out and play his solo from "November Rain" as the track got rowdier towards the end. One of the final performances of the night was introduced by Inglorious Basterd Quentin Tarentino, as Eminem, Lil' Wayne and Drake took the stage, minus K-West. The camera caught Taylor Swift dancing to "Forever" in the crowd several times, in a happy Grammy moment.

Pants on the Ground original video

By now you've probably either witnessed this past week's American Idol auditions, or heard the buzz via the net or elsewhere. General Larry Platt has a smash hit on his hands with "Pants on the Ground" a clever little tune he performed for the AI judges in Atlanta. The song basically tells those people lookin' like fools to get their pants off the ground. It's catchy and you'll find yourself repeating the lines over and over again, thanks to the personality that General Larry Platt gave it.

You'll find the original Pants on the ground video below, but there's been plenty of remixes and alternate versions done already. There's a version with the "Run this Town" beat, "U Can't Deny it" beat, and it's been covered by singer/songwriter Neil Young, on his appearance on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Show. It'll be surprising if Larry Platt doesn't get a record deal and at least a top notch collaboration with a rap star out of this audition he did (T.I., Big Boi, 3000 take note)!
