What wonderful surprise it was to realize that Cougar Town (a primetime sitcom series formerly in ABC starring Courtney Cox), began the fourth season on TBS, it’s one of those quirky shoes I just cannot get enough of. Cougar Town doubled my pleasure by ending the episode with a personal favorite Champion Sound by Crystal Fighters. Press play below and chillax.

It’s hardly a surprise that the great song selection by the Grey’s Anatomy musical department led to to another new musical favorite for me. You would expect that after 9 seasons there would a sense of staleness to the plot lines and music choices for Grey’s Anatomy but fortunately for this long time fan that is not the case. In the episode that aired on October 25th title I Saw Her Standing There, the show ended with the a haunting tune from Daughter called Home.

VH1 to Air Bob Marley Documentary on Saturday

On Saturday August 24th VH1 will premier Marley, an in depth look at the life and music of Robert Nesta Marley whom is considered one of the greatest artists of all time will. The televised documentary on the trans-formative, internally celebrated Jamaican born superstar will feature interviews from his cousins, mother, children, wife and girlfriends. Music from TV: Producer of How I Met Your Mother Announces iTunes Soundtrack

The uncertain future of the popular show beyond this fall season resulted in some bittersweet news for How I Met Your Mother music fans. TV show producer Craig Thomas announced that many fans will final get their wish for a TV soundtrack which will be aptly named How I Met Your Music. The soundtrack will feature 20 songs and will be available on the premiere night for season 8 on Monday, September 24th through iTunes.
