Hey look I'm back =) back to lame humour and posts jeje. Well I been like listening music again, since I'm kinda bored about what's on my computer and this time I went to the roots to find out an amazing guitar player I had no idea about... Link Wray, he ain't that famous either, at least not a mainstream artist, but lots of people are quoting him as a pionner to many other bands such as Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin... so I said: Really? Why not? And yes, I love instrumental shit and it's crazy that even in the 50's someone was doing so good as Link Wray did it, YES BROTHERS he is the KING of the guitar =)

I leave to you a huge Album, with most of his HITS, but Watch OUT, Link Wray is got many albums and some of them are more blues centered than others and he even dare to sing, vocals is not his strong side anyway. Take care you all, hugs form CHILE.

Hello there! Hope you to be fine, all of you, I mean, working and earning some bucks or lovin' and lovin' or playing out loud! Je!

I brought you something nice today. Nevertheless, if you had already listened to this awesome band, Man, I gotta say that you are years ahead of me, in what refers to music culture. A friend of mine introduced me this band just a couple of months ago and god damn..., Malsoñando comes from the early 90's. These guys are from Gilbratar, uuh! and I got to say they were doing pretty god damn tarnation well and superb, so... what were the reasons they split up later? Nobody knows and that's a fact of life.

Now if you wanna hear further projects from these guys write down some of following names: Criando Malvas, Brutal Thin', Baos, Viajo a 800, El Cíclope Vende, Buho Rojo, Hallucigenia, Patán y los Cuervos, Makelembembe, Em.Ko.Ma, Le Pajaro Trio, Hombrezero and Dr. Nick. I also advice you to look further on Malsoñado as well, because as I am bit lazy, I just uploaded some of the songs I have, let's say I selected those ones I like the most. The Want - Greatest Hits Vol. 5

Hey you! I wonder if you were actually waiting for this post, which I talked about like mmm weeks ago... (). Do you remenber that?

Well, The Want was an American stoner/blues rock band from Union, New Jersey. YES, they do not longer exist. Some of their menbers went to "Eighteen Wheels Burning", which I plan to listen soon enough. The thing is that if you actually love Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, you gonna go nuts for The Want. They have even been criticized for being too loyal their roots. The Want, as I said on "previous erased posts", are like the backbone of many other bands which nowadays sound like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, except they are 3 o 4 times better. Prepare yourself to rock at topspeed, because The Want is here, just listen Slight of Hand or Pass it On, Damn!! Take care you all!!!

Wool - Budspawn [1992]

Hello! Well, since I'm currently unemployed, I guess I have plenty of freetime, again, mmm, like to start diggin on this musical genre that's so amuzing to me. You probably have listened this band, still I didn't know about it untill a few days ago... . Two weeks so far, I 've been seriously listening wool's releases and they are very nice.

Woll was formed by Peter and Franz Stahl, who were playing at Scream, band in which also played Dave Grohl. When Scream went to hell, who knows what reason they had for; Grohl went to Nirvana :O, while Peter and Franz formed Wool.

There is a lot of Punk and hard rock in this band, it sounds like Helmet, said to me a friend the other day. Yeah, Wool has that amazing 90's rock sound which sprouted from peers such as Pearl Jam, Helmet, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and lord knows what else. Anyway, I highly advice you to get this stuff, they are freakin cool. Besides, the album is only 35 mg, damn! I bet you would wish every 35 mg albums were this good, once you have heard Budspawn.

ZEN - The sound of shit happening [2003]

Hello there, I'm back, fucking back and bringing some very interesting stuff. If you have listened this band already...I say goddamn! I wish you would have told me about them.

First, watch out!!! This post is rather different to often stoner rock posts. In fact, there few posts of this kind. I remenber a post on a band called DAREDIABLO, if you have picked that, you should take this as well.

Zen is a swedish band. One those bands that when it comes to define its musical genre, you just think like hmmm.... But anyway, I been looking up and this would fit somehow rock + some bites of Amanita muscaria, say psychodelia.

If you decided to listen this album, I highly, but man, I very highly advice you to start with song called "Loosin". I'll fucking dare to say that "Loosin" talks very good about Zen's sound. Reading about the band, there is plenty of talking about Pink Floyd as Zen's influeces and fuck yeah, Zen is got guts. I mean, I went fucking crazy with some of their songs. That's funny because I am not really into slow tempo rythms, therefore, listening to Zen rockin this hard, just makes me feel like shit.

"Swedish superb band that falls into the dreamland of progressive psych / space rock and progressive music. Reminds a bit of German RPWL, but ZEN is better. 2nd track "Losin" is a fabolous killer with spacerock overtones, dreamy and very harmonic." (don't remenber who actually wrote this xD)

Kuraia - Kuraia [2001]

Hello, I don't know if there's really someone following my blog currently, since I have been quite absent lately, like half a year. Well, I think work put some presure on me and also I overlistened stoner rock; like jumping from one band to another...also they all were kinda sounding the same and I got like tired of it, I firmly believe. Thus in my way out I came to find some joy on Harcore Punk music, that actually explains why the last album posted belongs to Hardcore Punk Pionners Bad Brains. Well, just like hours ago I started to listen some Kyuss on rockola.fm (free alternative to last.fm) and started to listen this band called Kuraia, whose single "Bizi gera" or "Bilutzu" blew me away completely.

Mainly, Kuraia is an spanish stoner rock band, but they are in touch with punk rock also. I am posting their debut album. I believe I liked them because they brougth back to me the sound of BALERO, Rotor R and Karma to Burn (check up my previous posts), instrumentally speaking of course. Now the funny thing is that this ain't an instrumental band. Nevertheless Kuraia's intrumental core is freakin devilish, it is a like caged dog waiting to be unleashed. Now the deal with the vocalist on Kuraia is that he fits a role like Steve Brooks does in Torche. Brooks admits that he sometimes hates his voice and believes that does not fit Torche's fierceful sound, explains that Torche is some sort of a weird paradox that somehow possesses people, despite voice and intrumental base are opposite poles. Well, something similar happened to me when I first listened Kuraia, though there are some songs in which Fernando Sapo's voice fits perfectly.

Finally, there is another cool thing to point out about this stoner band. The band lyrics are not written in spanish. In fact, they're not even written in ENGLISH at all. They are written in EUSKERA...what? Nowayday an isolated language that belonged to the Navarra Kingdom, today lost and forgotten. I really don't know why the band wrote their songs in this particular language, there's probably a deep reason underneath. All I know is that it makes Kuraia's music different and such attemp to originality is certainly remarkable. Two thumbs up!!

Please enjoy this crack, I hope you like it, at least some songs, but give the band time to get into.

Zée what's up there dudes, yeah fuck myself and fuck my work and fuck me, because I love talkin' bout myself =), what? you don't like it? Then do not fuckin' read this shit even though I fuckin' tried to make it fuckin' funny and fuckin' amusing, from my fuckin' point of view of course.

Ahh, now this post is weird because I kinda had this blog kinda forgotten, if not the whole shit fogotten (...) Shit is that I entered my blog and saw a comment saying something that kinda touched my heart...someone ws actually saying "thanks" to me for posting stuff here and that was nice...we all need and appreciate love sometimes, don't we? In fact these days are kinda tough because of that, not many people say thanks these days, they like kinda forgot that word, I include myself there also...yeah, it sucks, but life's like that.

Now, the other day I was smoking some shit with a friend of mine and he suddenly said: hey, have you ever heard Bad brains? Well, he said this in Spanish...because...(). Well, I replied: No, I haven't. So he fuckin it showed me a Live Concert that was crazy fuckin' as hell fuckin'. The following day I step into "Soulseek" and downloaded like 5 albums and that's it. Bad brains is chaos in a simple and god damn scary way...yeah well, the vocal guy in the band went insane after some years, he was under severe treatment and shit but....yeah this band rocks, I'm kind speechless, but I would like to say that Bad Brains is dangerous, I personally feel like to get out and mosh, and hit people, but in a possitive way...if there's something possitive in beating people for pleasure. Ok, ok, that's enough, the band is said to play "Hardcore Punk", gee what is that to do with Stoner? Nothing I guess...but don't let that "Harcore Punk" title scare you away, just give the band some time and you will see, you fuckin have to trust me....I'm telling you, Bad Brains will make your life better...ajajajaj, well just enjoy it and use your Internet wisely, keep coming back and getting stuff here.

If you ever want to hear something bad about Torche, let me tell you something, this is wrong place. So get the hell out of here. Something you will never see here is READ ME talking bad about such great divine breathtaking band. Torche just did what they had to, they did great....ok ok, Juan Montoya left...gee what a fuckin' loss but i'm positive and I believe good things are about to come. Let's just not fall into the subject of contrasting one album to another...since nowadays we can refer to Torche as entering into a new stage. Yes, I expect changes.
I have not heard this album before and I up-loaded it for the same reason =P, just check it out and enjoy. Take you all.

Hey there!! what's up? I really don't know. Only god damn shit I remenber is that last year I had loads and plenty lots of free time to look for new music and upload stuff for you. Nonetheless, the 2009's rythmn is quite different and it had ended up being fucking overwhelming. I sincerely say that I don't have fucking free time and If I fucking do, I rather like to burn that time...burn to ashes what is left in my brain.
Ok!! enough drama, I just uploaded something I've been listening lately, a band that I have come to like lately... this is like the perfect first peak for you, in case you haven't heard the band before. I highly suggest this piece, it always brings me back sounds and images of Led Zeppelin and Hendrix, I don't know you but those two things I just mentioned are two good reasons to check this stuff up. Torche - Meanderthal (2008)

We know something, though Meanderthal is Torche's best album so far, we got to acknowledge that currently, the band is missing one member. So, the right question is "HOW" will they continue to produce such a massive sludge sound? and if they would do, how the hell they gonna make it? I'm scared, but we shall have an aswer this year, unless the band does not release a new album, which I seriously doubt.
I got to say that in the beginning, I was amazed with The Sword. I mean, a couple of years back I was listening two new bands, when I used to care only about oldies like Kyuss, Cathedral, etc. I always had Torche like the second option, but this has changed, turning The Sword to occupy that place now. The thing is that maybe Torche has turned to be a much more solid band, that has evolved in every album, showing something new but still possessed by a roaring bestial sound. In this sense, this might be The Sword's flaw, because in the end their two albums are quite similar...or maybe I just overlistened the band. Anyway, let's ignore that alst comment, otherwise, everything I had said so far would mean a shit "JAJA".

Finally, the point and the trigger of this chit-chat is that Steve Brooks left something very clear when referring about Juan Montoya's loss: "Torche will still carry on a 3 piece band", which means he ain't filling in that hole, maybe he does not even consider that Montoya's left a hole when departing, and that's what we are about to find out. In this sense, Brook's idea of the next album might be sparking a whole shift in the band's sound, rather than to stick to the one in the previous albums, regarding that Montoya is absent and that's undeniable and I'm sure will have consequences.

Scott Reeder - Tunnelvision Brilliance [2006]

Well, I guess all people knows who the hell Reeder is, but still I was amazed when I found this album of his. This is supposed to be his most personal project after years of playing here and there. First time I listened this album was on last.fm, the song "Renee", which stills humbs in my ears or something. The thing is that I just never see this coming, I never expected Reeder to do something this different, but again, I 'd say this a great work, with songs really peel out like shiny cups of something really expensive.. I commented this to a friend of mine and it is that the Reeder's voice in this album reminded me a lot to Maynard's voice on 10000 Days, specially in the song "Diamond". Also, it reminded me Opeth, specifically the album Damnation, which is about really really slowed-down and emotive songs, with beats of smoth, cool or something. Well, I just managed to find the album and now you have the chance to give it a try, in case you haven't done yet.

PS: I read somewhere that the album took nearly 18 years to complete and that Reeder performed, recorded and produced the album entirely on his own. So, I'd say this is a jewel people, get it!!

Torche - Torche [2005]

Uh! my fellows, this is an exciting post, bringing up to the net surface one of those beautifull Torche's album. Gosh, Torche is one of those new bands that puts my blood to boil and certainly stones my head with trippy powerfull riffs (...) Furthermore, the good shit is that, when we compare Torche with other sludge metal fellow bands like High on Fire, Weedeater, Electric Wizard, etc; they all got their weak and strong sides, but none of them reaches what Torche often does in a three and even two minutes song. I think there is the sludge essence somehow. There we got our Holy Roar, our Mentor, Fire, Rule the Beast, Hellion, etc.
Reading about the band I came up with the news that Juan Montoya, left the band due to musical differences. Juan Montoya is the responsible of the ass kicking space rocket melodies in this album, for instance, in song "fuck addict".
The good thing is that, according to Steve Brooks the band will continue. I wonder what kind of consequences this change will have in the band's sound... Well, hope you to enjoy this one, I will upload Torche's other works later probaly.

Motorhead - Ace of Spades [1980]

Sometimes one just misses some bands. I think it migh be the choices you take during your adolescense. For instance, I just never listened Faith no More or Ac/Dc or Metallica or Janne's Addiction...etc. Nowadays, I just love Faith no More and Mike Patton work as an individual. I can say the same about Janne/s Addiction, but what concerns to Ac/Dc and Metallica, I just don't know. I don't listen to them currently and I just never did, maybe sometime in the future. Who knows.
Well, all this nostalgic crap of mine is due to the fact that the other day I download Motorhead's Ace of Spades and fuck, the album is just a kick in the ass. I cannot believe that I missed such a good band, so much time. At this point, I only regard the first two albums, the rest of them I don't know.
Also it happened that Lemmy Kilmister is just from another world and he was in also Hawkwind, one of the bands that we often regard to Stoner rock. It also happened that High on Fire, band whose work I highly recommend, draw influences from Motor Head. I guess I'm just spreading shit, I mean, which band does not draw influences from Motorhead?

Mother Trucker - Electric Blacksmith EP [2006]

Long time no see I guess. I don't know if it is enough of instrumental stuff, but hell, I never have enough, I 'm never satisfied so here I bring you a new band I found out. They are somehow more of a slow motion intrumental stuff and according to experts they go like in the line of Red Sparowes and Pelican, that means, bathed in doom. I just have tried to listen both of those bands, but I just don't like them. Nevertheless, Mother Trucker is the exception to the rule.
The band was formed in October 2003 and is the creation of Charlie Butler (Guitar), Tom Moffat (Bass), James Davison (Drums) and Chris Scrivens (Guitar) from Birmingham in the UK.
"Mothertrucker blend together the harshness of metal, the ambience, texture and lulling nature of post-rock, the groove and rolling rhythms of stoner rock and the gruesome dark feelings of doom with the aim of fusing all this into one as a truly cohesive sound". Cromagnon's Rehearsals 2008

All right this a particular, mmm, a very special post. There this band called "Cromagnon", that rehearsal at my house every wednesday and some fridays. It's cool to have your friend's band playing at your house. It's cool when you live in a big house, just you and your younger brother and can fuckin unleash the very hell with no complaints...that's great. So this picture is from yesterday. You got in there "flako" the guitar solo man, and its brand new guitar...he actually tested it yesterday for the very first time and... the other guitar is Cocho's riff man gibson. Well, I would not dare to say they sound like this and like that...I just leave some youtube links for you to watch and judge for yourselves.

Originally some songs include lyrics and singing, but since the band has no singer yet nor a fuckin microphone, they are just playing instrumental. Listen every of the seven songs, they all got something special. I hope you like them, cheers and good bye.

RotoR - 3 [2007]

Hey there pals! I'm back again and with new stuff again. This is another band I found along with Nitroseed. This time, stoner comes from Berlin, Germany. Don't know much of german stoner, but this band certainly surprised me a lot. RotoR have certainly a very wide and rich sound, like to say this is only stoner or psychodelic rock. So, I'm just will tell you some bands that came to my mind while listening the album. Oh! By the way, this a great instrumental band. That is why I made the assosiation with Nitroseed.

First, I thought inmediately about Karma to burn, then an Argentinian band called Poseidotika also appeared, along with Opeth. Weird. So let's say the band has some tough stoner rock, along with some metal, progresive stuff and the right dosis of psych. I may tell you don't even try to imagine what this band sound like...just get it and enjoy. =P

PD: Squirrel gripp records define the album as "An irresitable koloss of groove, heavy riffs and delicate jazzy playing - as it hasn`t been heard so far!"

Brain Police - Brain Police [2003]

Well, I won't say stupid things this time. I won't talk about cigarretes or PS2 or whatever. (..) Today's noon is very sunny... I don't what the fuck I'm going to do the rest of the day...cuz' is just 13:42...I got some stuff there...they kick asses, but studying seems like an alternative, I have to study or...I'll be sleeping with the fishes, see?
Todays band comes from Iceland, the band name comes from Frank Zappa's song Who are the brain police? Nice tip?
I like this band because their sound brings me back memories from a Black Metal band called Ildjarn, from Nordway. I guess Stoner and Black Metal are nothing to do, but the guitar sound, I'm not talking about melodies, but pure sound, shape of sound. Ildjarn had this guitar sound, extremely saturated, very fat-swollen sound and like burned up, bursted, blew out; a really dirty garage or bassement sound. Astroqueen, Into Submission (2001) has exactly a similar sound in guitar, should check up that one if you haven't yet.
Brain Police got a nice singer, just as unmelodic as posible and sometimes drums and rythms remind me Brant Bjork, and some songs to also reminds me Cathedral's 1993 stoner masterpiece "The Ethereal Mirror".
Brain Police has quite a status in their land, and it seems that in the outlands, they're doing pretty well too. I really think this is a MUST check band, they certainly have come to give their sound an interesting and unique shape. This album has no weak songs, all of them rock, so feel free to rock the hell out of you when listening this band.

Nitroseed - Molt

Hey, cheer up! I'm posting very often now. In fact, I'm surprise of myself. Moreover, I brought a new band to you. Well is not actually a new band, but I discorvered it just a couple of days ago. Talking about this band, necesarily means to talk about Karma to burn, because Karma is a pionner in instrumental rock and somehow stoner. In this sense, it means to touch on many other instrumental bands outhere like Balero, Hotel Wrecking City Traders, 5ive, Treasure cat, and A Tijuana Trip, just to mention a few I enjoy a lot. Nitroseed comes from Laurel, Maryland, USA. They are regarded as Instrumental Stoner Doom. I guess such description fits their sound. They are a doom stoner band, but they got something else, they got that spark of heavy and groove that keeps you on fire and that's the reason I'm posting their stuff. I often fall sleep with stoner doom, but this an exception. They got those sweet and painfull slow repetitive compases and rythms encripted in heavy metal chords and rolled around in riffs saturated with stoner everywhere, then encripted again in a Balero's mood and rolled around in Karma to Burn's sudden chord explosions.

It's a nice band, no weak songs as Stoner Rock review says. The band play solid, furious and neverending as a flame. Take this piece without shadow of doubt. 10o% suggested.

Condor - Volando alto y fuerte

I guess the idea is catching up. I wonder if you have played a PS2 game called "DEF JAM", some pals are playing that game while I'm posting this...it's a grat game, I mean it... I'm not playing because I'm just to good...so I make fights short enough like to make them boring...that ain't fair. Now, this a Chilean band. Condor was born in 2003. Their crew say they draw influences from actionrock, punkrock and stoner. To name a band, I'd say Motorhead and according to to friend of mine, they sound like Tabernarios and Hielo Negro, both Chilean rock n' roll stoner bands. Listen this band and you gonna feel like to kick some asses, drink, get high and chat up some babes. Rock n' roll is here, please do you ears a favor and grab this shit people. Take care and happy leech.

Yawning man - Pothead

It's true that I have like vanished from the surfice of the earth. It's true that the first month I posted 30 albums. The second month just 8 and on October only 4. But, I 've been busy...just thinking that I have like 5 months left of youth and freedom, after that, I should start working. FUCK!! I just enjoy my parents giving me some money and pay for everything... I wonder if it is that cool to live on your own, under your own rules and everything. One thing is clear, thinking to much about it fucks your mind. So I decided to stop and post something...light a cigarrete meanwhile...eat some cookies...some sweeet little rounded tight cookies...I guess that of "tight" cookies does not make much sense...I wonder where the fuck is my lighter...now I found it and does not work...perfect! I think posts ago I said something about how bad Chilean cigarretes were...so, I won't throw more shit to my country, it already has enough.
Yawning man is the band you are looking for in case you wanted to loose your wit. I mean it. It like drag you down to far distant dimensions. That's cool. That's dangerous too. Also, I haven't like posted many things because I'm running out of stuff...the bands I like haven't release nothing new...so I guess we'll just have to wait. At first, I thought about uploading the Unquestionable precense album of experimental death metal band Atheist. Those guys are mad...the drummer or percusionist has like 20 arms, but I gave up the idea, because I guess was out of context. What the hell, enjoy this one chumps.

Yajaira - Yahaira [1998]

Hey! There's only one thing to say at this point, Yajaira is the best stoner band of South America. I know that "Los Natas" got like a respectable status, but since I have not heard such band in depth, I'd say Yajaira is the best shit to roll over the floor and go out to kick some asses. Stoner States Essentials

Well, this is mm… a “weird post”, just to show how big my ego gets sometimes. I’m gonna like add a list of those bands I consider “essential”, in case you like stoner music. Now, something special is that this list will not only include those bands regarded as stoner rock or stoner metal, but also those bands that somehow makes you feel like dizzy and are capable to drag your mind into their inner worlds.
I’ve been like listening to stoner some years, not many, but enough I guess considering that I’m like an obsessive and compulsive person…but ain’t gonna talk about myself here. So here you got such list and you may find each album mentioned, in this very website. Also, I won’t say which band is better, but only refer to them. Nonetheless, being this blog my own creation, you should consider my likes, whenever it comes to check up new stuff. These bands are those bands I cannot live without.

Balero: This is HELL itself. What I like about this instrumental stoner band is that having only 3 members, it is able to unleash the inferno over your brain and it is stoner in every sense, because the tempos and rhythm keep you at their sound without any distraction, but dancing and mosh-ing. They like start quiet to end up in chaos. They put your blood to boil. Balero is wrath. They are not the typical instrumental stoner band like pelican and many others with long slow songs, but short and breathtaking. Balero are like stoner explosions.

Karma to Burn: West Virginia might have been the greatest place in earth, back in Karma to Burn’s heyday. This is another Instrumental band, more like southern rock, but stoner as well. When approaching this band you got to go over “Wild, wonderful purgatory” which by far their best work. In fact, this album should be called “greatest hits”. Unlike Balero’s fat and massive sound, Karma is more like a knife or sword, something enough sharp and precise like to split you “right in two”. But also may make you suffer, got some slow songs with passages of pure hate. Karma got that skill to change the whole song climate in a matter of seconds. Got also like more melancholic songs, but the anger keeps at it, like going behind, always stalking your ears to suddenly melt them down. Something important about this band is that being from the later 90s, it helped to give birth and strength to many later stoner bands.

Treasure Cat: This band comes from the “leftovers” or “ashes” of Karma to burn, so now you may see how much I appreciate Karma. The bass work preformed in this band is just “ravishing” (Matt Cross), as well as the work done by “percussionist” Roy Brewer and finally, guitarist Will Melcum. Nonetheless, the view here is different than in Karma. Treasure Cat is more of a groovy experience. The sound isn’t as massive as in Balero or Karma, but rather more joyful, in the sense that this band sound does not throw to ground. On the contrary, somehow it pours you over an addictive balsam that keeps you at their sound. Cats like got nine lives, that effects is proper of this music. The joy never dies, but sets your brain into fire and makes you burn for hours. After a couple of minutes, Treasure cat turns into wrath as well or maybe more of a “berzek” state, cuz is a joyful experience as I said, and this like a band to listen with more people. The first, I rather listen them alone so that I can lose within myself.

Well, this is it for now. I should post some more topics like this one, once in while, just like to state my own line and likes within this particular style of music. Instrumental stoner rocks, because as I said in my previous post, there is no bounds of any kind, it jus you and the music alone. Bands with lyrics often take your mind to one direction, if the topic is hate, then the lyrics should lead you to politics or anti-christianism, but lacking lyrics, you can ake your own picture of the music, your own paradise or hell, that’s the essence of stoner music, the voice should that too, to be a mere instrument you may interpret free bounds.

Hotel Wrecking City Traders - EP [2007]

Now comes something new to this blog. Something my ears were glad to discover, just a few days ago. First, I must say thanks to "Sludgeswamp", cuz' I found the band while exploring his blog, which has vast loads of material, so it is quite a nice place to check up.
Well, this a Mellbourne, Australia band. The most amazing thing is that the band has only two members: "ben" the drummer and "toby" on guitars. Coming down to set the band's influences we got names like: Karma to burn, Mogwai, Kinski, Kyuss, Colour Haze, 5ive and some other instrumental bands...oh yeah! this is "Intrumental" stuff. Why is it that I like this music so much? The answer is simple, lacking vocals the music comes to you free of any bounds. I personally found that vocals set directions and rigid rythms to songs...so, in this sense instrumental music allows you to interpret music as you wish, to picture your own image of the sound waves (hate, anger, wrath [not all of them necesarily negative of course])...and I'm talking about this because I'm adding to this post an interview made to HWCT's drummer, in which he refers about the band's origins and to this particular topic of instrumental compositions. So, check up both, the album and the interview...I will probably up-load the band's second album later on, but if you want it first hand, go and get it at sludgeswamp...check up the link on my stoner sources. Kyuss - Last Session 1998

I was suppose to write this post and "post" this "post", yesterday. But I did not. Therefore, I do it today... I wish I had a cigarrete while writing this post, but I don't. I pity myself because I have in my ADIDAS "predator" backpack, one box of Argentinian Viceroy "blue blend"(still having 7mg Alquitran). They rock. They are like ten times better than half of Chilean cigarretes, and they're even light. Let's don't even mention how sweet the red ones are. But, the truth is that Argentinian tabacco is much better than Chilean one.
I don't know if tobacco has much to do with Kyuss, but feels like it. I found this weird album within my computer when clearing up. The disc has only 3 songs...but being a rarity within Kyuss discograhpy, I thought about up-loading it. I'd say is an interesting album with an opening song of about 8 minutes of lengh...so check it up before my cigarrete burns down. Rock y'all.

PD: I added this picture as "label", because everytime I trigger a kyuss search in google...this picture crops up. I think is nice, it kinda reminds me bangbross or **parade videos (jojojo).

High on Fire - Death is this Communion [2007]

I have this friend of mine who has this "fixation". Whenever we speak about something that it is bizarre, for instance, about a man being decapitated while having sex with a horse (it's just an example ¿OK?, we actually don't speak about things like this, not that I remenber ) then he tends to say: wow! gore gore. The thing is that he doesn't say the words with the right pronunciation, but he says literally "gore gore" as we do in spanish, adding emphasize on the letter "e", on purpose.
Now, you may think what's the big deal about this? I mean, What is it to do with the band I'm about to post? The thing is that this band I'm posting right now, it is a band you may regard as "gore gore". To ilustrate, imagine the next scene between felipe(the man with the fixation) and Sixto (the one with stoner blog):

Felipe: Hey Sixto how are you man?
Sixto: I'm fine.
Felipe: What are you listening to?
Sixto: Oh! I'm listening High on Fire, Death is this communion.
