So I've been away, I haven't been making blog posts, but good news!! I'm coming back! :) Thank you for the comments on my Project Diva 2nd and Loreena McKennitt posts, everyone!

Loreena McKennitt performs at Vancouver's Olympic Opening Ceremonies!!

click here to watch her performance ♥

I was ECSTATIC when I heard Loreena's voice coming from my television last night. I had thought they had used a recording and she wasn't there, so I was disappointed.... but! I went on MSN's Olympic page this morning, and for about 3 seconds, she appeared on the screen! She was there! I am so happy.

She performed her song "The Old Ways" in a scene full of the magic that is Autumn.
There were big, bright and beautiful leaves covering the stage. A large and golden full moon hovered in the air, gorgeous and a fantastic sight for the imagination. This was easily my favorite segment of the entire night.

To Listen to the full song used in the ceremonies, click here.
And don't forget that the video can be caught here.

I'm seriously addicted to Forever21!

2010-02-06T15:17:00.001-08:00

Forever21 is the one store I'm always checking out. I can't resist their selection of stuff.

Goodbye, Money!

Do you like Waffles?

2010-02-05T08:25:00.000-08:00

YEAH I LIKE WAFFLES

I had some waffles with banana slices and maple syrup for breakfast today :DD

They were super good.

I'm getting all set up for selling things on Deviantart, Etsy, Amazon.com, and wherever else. It's both a fun and intimidating experience. :)

I now have a Paypal & an Amazon.com Store:
(I'm still learning how to use the Paypal.)

My sister has been really into watching the anime Shugo Chara recently.
Everytime it's on and I happen to be near by.... I can't help but watch it, too, lolz. The art style is just way too cuuuuuuute! *v* Although the storyline with this Black Cat guy is weird, everything else is enjoyable :) The characters are hilariously adorable.

I have a lot of babysitting to do the week of the 21st. All week, every day, morning to night. Intense. I feel like it's going to be awkward fitting in showers and brushing my teeth there and stuff, but it'll be okay. . . .

As a matter of fact, I need to go get ready for babysitting tonight, too. . . .

They're having a Pikachu-Colored-Pichu giveaway at Gamestop until the 14th of February. I'm planning on going this weekend, because if you get the Pikachu-Colored-Pichu, and then purchase Heart Gold or Soul Silver, you can transfer the Pichu to either game and trigger and event. This event will allow you to obtain the rare Gizamimi, or Notched-Ear-Pichu. Her theme song is pretty catchy.

One more thing, I saw this

on Deviantart today, and I just thought, "How cool are those?"
I find them to be really inspiring.

Edit: I am a sucker for cute things today.

How cute is that? Hannari Tofu plush aren't new to me or anything, but it's been awhile since I've seen one, and. . . d'aww.

Strange Tastes in Food

2010-02-04T11:59:00.000-08:00

For lunch right now, I'm having Spaghetti topped with.... Taco-Seasoned Hamburger Meat.
Is that weird?

I remember when I was a kid, I loved Tortillas with Ketchup and nothing else as a meal, and I also loved bread with nothing but mustard on it. Actually, I still kind of like those.

I also love salad topped with cheese and grapes. . .

To anyone who's reading this:
Do you have any strange tastes in food?

So.... (Forever 21)

"SEW BUTTONS!"
-My Uncle

....Anyway, I've kind of promised myself, the universe, whatever that I can't buy anything else for a while. I mean, I don't even have the money, so it's not a hard promise to keep.

But how cute are these? I mean, for sale items.

And how nice is this?
(I've been thinking of selling on Etsy, too....)

I've bought myself some new jewelery, too >___> I hope I'm not a brat for showing this off, but Forever 21 again:

And that's kind of my shopping lately. That and a teddy bear (impulse buy) and Emma on DVD. And some books.

I should not be spending all day online. Therefore, I'm going to leave you guys with that. Even though it's pretty damn dull information, haha.

At least it's insight into my very poor fashion sense. :)

SNSD Girl's Generation - "Oh!"

2010-01-29T08:09:00.000-08:00

New music video by Girl's Generation :] They're so much fun.
Sometimes I think it's too bad American girls don't have videos and songs like this.
Oh well. They have all the fun. :P

The Real Time? 3:45 PM

2010-01-29T07:29:00.000-08:00

But I didn't want to take my SNSD/Girl's Generation video away from the top of the page.

I've been listening to J-POP all day.
It's very distracting, and I'm not getting much done.

Oh, well.

Sometimes I wish I lived someplace where I could walk to cool stores and just meet people and have fun.

I've been feeling a bit lonely lately, but that's the way it is.
Sometimes the bed feels cold, and I think that it might be nice to have someone else in it.
If only I were more outgoing or social or something.
Had more self-confidence. It goes up and down, but it's never high.
Unless I decide not to give a crap about anyone.

It's a fine line between being smart and stupid.
Smart is safe. Stupid can be fun. I'm both, I guess.
When you're smart, you're closed up. When you allow yourself some stupidity, it can be lots of fun, but extremely embarrassing or hurtful later.

My feet are cold.

I need to go do something.

People Love To Hate

2009-11-18T08:46:00.001-08:00

I don't understand why people judge stars so harshly. I understand that you're exposed to them on Television a lot, but that's no reason to treat them as if you actually know them. The way a person appears in media and in real life are different, and it's very unfair to say that you hate someone just from seeing them on TV for a while. And to hate someone for the way they sit in a chair or the way they say things is ridiculous. Ridiculous.

I bring this up because MSN Today is featuring stories about how much people absolutely hate Kristin Stewart. Now, I'm not a fan, not at all, but I definitely don't hate the girl. What reason do we have to hate her? Does she go out and shoot puppies for entertainment? Is she a criminal? Has she hurt anyone? I don't get it. When people hate her because she doesn't put on enough of a show for her fans. . . .Isn't she allowed to be herself? Everyone has different ways of dealing with things. And just because she doesn't laugh and smile and glow and flirt and act pretty all the time doesn't make her a bad person.

People need to focus on their own lives instead of being obsessed with how a young woman lives her life. Hell, at least she's living. I can bet you she's not obsessing and hating over anyone like the people that talk about how they live to hate her.

And those people are making her life stressful, and not as happy as it could be.
Shame on them.

Just my two-cents.

The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks

2009-11-09T16:55:00.000-08:00

for the Nintendo DS on December 7th, 2009.

Looks so good -- I like the train, and then I just learned that Princess Zelda accompanies Link throughout his trip as a spirit. Along the way, she'll help you with puzzles and control suits of armor in order to assist you. But beware! If a mouse or rat bothers her, she'll be less likely to help! (Hilarious.)

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

2009-11-04T18:33:00.000-08:00

This movie based on a video game looks like it's going to be very good. The quality looks excellent, like a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I'm so looking forward to this one!

Ellen TV Today 110409

2009-11-04T12:47:00.000-08:00

So I was watching Ellen with my mother today, and we were both appalled by Mariah Carey's appearance. She looks and acts like a prostitute! Now, I'm not saying she's a bad person, not at all. But jeez, why would you want to be seen like this? Your butt is so close to popping out on television, your cleavage is out of control, and you caress your thighs and stick perfume down your chest. . . . So inappropriate. That's all I can say. It might just be me and my age, but ugh.

Now something fun. This tree is fascinating in more than one way. Most obvious to most seems to be the tree's "face". Ellen pointed this out. But I saw something different. Do you see a skull anywhere? I do! (Look in the upper left of the trunk!) This tree is badass.

It's so, undeniably, beautiful.

Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow

2009-10-27T09:14:00.000-07:00

!! SPOILER ALERT !!

"This book was so good. Think of it as Supernatural with a teenage girl and two pretty good-looking boys. It's not cliche, though. At least, not to me. Dru, the main character, her father? Zombie. Oh yeah, she shoots him in her living room. Her mother? Vampire Hunter extraordinare. Best friend? Skinchanger. Oh yeah, she's got it all.

What I really liked about this was that it kept me reading. I finished this book in 2 days, and it was one of my favorites. I borrowed it from the library, but somewhere along the line, this will be a purchase. I was never quite sure what would happen next, and it was quite the thrill-ride.

Only twice was I bothered by something in this book--and it was nothing to complain about. Talking about Dru's acne made me feel like I was sprouting several pimples myself, and I kept looking at my forehead in the mirror, haha. I swear I felt pimple pressure! And the other thing was when Dru writes a phone number on a piece of scrap paper, the author repeats herself, saying it was "an anonymous scrap of blank paper" or something. It's fine, but I really didn't need to hear that twice in the span of 20 or less pages. We readers have good memories!

I can't wait to read the sequel!"

Xena: Warrior Princess Original Soundtrack

2009-10-27T08:51:00.000-07:00

So many good songs, so many good memories. . . .
These songs make me emotional. Part of it is remembering the good times with my dad. Part of it is remembering the show's moments. And part of it is that it's just so good.

Assassin's Creed Lineage (Short Movie) Part I

This thing is amazing. Way to go, Ubisoft.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

2009-10-25T12:30:00.000-07:00

Being able to play as three different characters looks like a wonderful addition.
New worlds & Characters!!!

I have a feeling this will be my favorite PSP game, easily. Coming out...sometime in the near future, hopefully.

JOHN RZEZNIK - I'm Still Here (from TREASURE PLANET)

The Goo-Goo Dolls tend to hit me in the heart. Where it hurts. They make me feel.

Bonus! Iris by Goo-Goo Dolls. The song from my Prom. ♥

Phantasy Star Portable 2

This looks so good. The first Phantasy Star Portable was enjoyable, but I didn't make that purchase. This one, however, looks like it may be worth it!

'Culloden's Harvest' - Deanta

This song, with it's story about the fall of Culloden, is now one of my favorites. Beautifully done.

Blackmore's Night - Sister Gypsy

A beautiful tale of myth and legend. Sister Gypsy, a spirit who lurks in the shadows, may return to earth and bring to us a simpler way of life, if only people believe.

I actually like a Shakira song! Wow! And surprise... I like a Lady Gaga song, too!

Lady Gaga - Paparazzi

She's so rad. Seriously. Strange, yes, but also awesome-sauce.

Michi - Something Missing lyrics

2009-10-13T13:48:00.000-07:00

When I wake up I'm standing in a strange place
And I just don't know where I am
Shiranai kotoba, wakaranai signs
Kioku wo tadotte miru

Samayou empty city
Kaketeru heart, I need to fix this
Can't stand here waiting, gotta get it
I'm trying to find the reason for being alive

Sagashiteiru
Nani wo motometeiru
Nani ka wakaranai mama
Tada imi wo hoshigaru
I still don't know why I'm here
Ima dekiru koto just believe
I will keep on fighting till I find the way
To something that I'm missing

Tsuyogari de namida wa misetakunai
Don't wanna show my weaker side
So I build up a wall against everybody oh
Kore ijou kizutsuki takunai

Sunao ni narenai
Nari takunai
Can't let myself go
Namida yurushitara
Tomaranai kara
Must be strong

Sagashiteiru
Nani wo motometeiru
Nani ka wakaranai mama
Tada imi wo hoshigaru
I still don't know why I'm here
Ima dekiru koto just believe
I will keep on fighting till I find the way
This something I'm missing

Samishikute
Hitori kurushiku natte
Tsurai hi no hou ga ooku natte
So many things gisei ni shite demo
I have to go on…

Honey don't stop…
Baby don't stop…
Honey don't stop…
No, you don't stop…

Dare ni mo nai
Jibun dake no destiny
Kako to mukiau koto
Miete kita my tomorrow
Oh is this my destiny?
Mamoru mono no tame ni
Tatakai tsuzukeru
Till I find my way to something that I'm missing

for around $85, you can have your very own psp-go look-alike. no, it does not play psp games, but it plays virtually any media file, can take and view photos, and emulates nes, snes, gameboy, and genesis games. it comes with 2 gb internal memory and a rechargeable lithium battery. not a bad deal, huh?
