I also have battled sinus infections and post nasal drip for years. I found that daily singing exercises in the shower on the sound "ng" helped clear my sinuses. I also trained myself not to clear my throat, but instead to lightly cough and swallow. This took some doing but has been highly beneficial.

And amen to the post about dairy products.

That's right electric guitar magnetic pickups aren't really designed to go direct into the system. Ive seen some sound techs insist on DI'ing the electric guitar before its signal has through the amp - with some very poor results. So a POD or similar will help in this respect. Ive also been very impressed recently with the new Tech 21 Sansamp Character pedals. These pedals are designed to go direct into the PA, are simpler than a POD and just make sounds from a single classic amp range. So they do a Fender pedal, a Vox one, a Marshall one a Boogie etc. There's even an Ampeg SVT style one for bass.

68bhp. That's the engine power of a VW Golf E Hatchback 1.9 E SDI ...

I suppose that if you are the acoustic guitar equivalent of a Golf then your not doing too badly at all ;)
