Yes i know, I'm very slow when it comes to updating my blog. Well i have a good and reasonable explanation that can be expressed with a single word: busy. Very busy in fact. I have ELEVATE camp and practices coming soon, trials that await me in January 2010 and i am suppose to spend time with my family and friends. It may not seem like a lot to you but for me, it feels crazy. I guess its because everything just shoots at me in one go and piles up. For examplae, yesterday i was studying economics and then i received a email on camp pracs. So i rushed to the computer and starting preparing. Then suddenly something came up in the midst of preparing and economics echoing through my head. It knocked me out of focus and into a valley clouded with confusion. After a while, i finally got my head straight and went to bed. ;)</span></p><p><span style="font-size:85%;color:#990000;">Today, i woke up and went back to preparing for camp pracs. It took me about half a day to listen to all the songs. After that, i went out for a game of badminton with my cousin to let out some stress and wake up myself. Ate dinner, came back and felt the need to play the guitar. So i decided to attempt to figure out the solo from the song Belief (Acoustic version) by John Mayer. Boy it was not easy. Kept listening over and over and eventually i managed to figure most of it. Could have studied but didn't feel like doing so :P</span></p><p><span style="font-size:85%;color:#990000;">Oh man, Jeremy just sent another songlist. ARGHHHHHHH!!! Okay, no time to waste. So sorry for the late update. Been busy due to loadz of homework assigned out by Mr. Tan =_=</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="color:#990000;">Anyway, yes. 23rd Oct was my birthday. I am officially 14 years old=) </span><span style="color:#990000;">The first celebration occurred at school. It all started when Mr. Tan was teaching us matrices in Maths class. Then suddenly, the lights went off and Graham was standing by the controls. At first, i thought he was playing a prank on the class cuz he's the jester of the school. But I immediately knew my assumption was wrong when everyone looked at the door and then turned their faces with a smile to the corner where i was sitting. Then, they started singing the world's most popular song and there was Crystal walking towards me with a gorgeous, delicious- looking cake. At that moment, i felt really happy and grateful towards all my good friends and my irreplaceable sister who have gone through hoops to make me feel so special on that day. Before i blew the candles, Khiing (who has always been like a brother to me) interrupted saying, "One more time!" Unexpectedly, another cake came through the door and the class sang once again!! The second cake looked like a miniature version of the first one! Finally, i blew off the candles and cut both cakes;) After that, Hern Ah Cai reached into his bag revealing a present from the whole class. Guess what? It was a original Tropicana Life wallet! Just what i needed! Speaking of Hern Ah Cai, today is his birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERN AH CAI!!;) All was going well till Mr. Tan gave us a bomb of maths homework. Sigh =_=</span> </span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"></span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;color:#990000;">When i got back from school, i went up to my grandmother's house for dinner. She had cooked my favourite dishes. YUM!! After dinner, we had desert. Guess what? Cake again. Although i got sick of cake, (cuz there were many birthdays this month-10 to be exact) i appreciated the fact that my family gathered to celebrate my 14th birthday.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;color:#990000;">The next day, i went to church for DBS (Bible study). Unfortunately, Sarah couldn't come due to falling sick. Later on, i met up with Siu Fai and he gave me a Hillsongs United CD (Across the Earth) as a birthday present. Wow! Another gift!^^ Hooray!! Haha. Oh, and that Saturday happened to be Frank's birthday. And then the next day (Sunday) was Pastor Foo's birthday. SO MANY BIRTHDAYS IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER!!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:85%;color:#990000;">By the way, my dad bought me an awesome camera for me birthday!! A Canon Powershot G11!!! It has 10 mega pixels and is almost as good as a SLR. Its small and has many awesome effects. He is an awesome and funny teacher who threw himself a party inviting all his students, relatives and friends to celebrate his 55th birthday at Lynn's cafe. All of us had good food at the price of zero cents and had a fun time hanging out (well mostly at the end). While Mr. Tan was busy taking care of his guests, we youngsters got our grub, sat down and started talking crap.
