Can't Get Through?

I'm getting feedback from customers. Some say they are calling but I hang up on them. Others say they cannot add money to their accounts. Others say they can add money to their accounts but are unable to use it once it's added. Some say, they call and then only get one minute even though they have funds in their account. Others say the connection is terrible. If you need a more reliable alternative method to contact me, send me an email (ladylila@sbcglobal.net). Thanks to a friend, I have an 800 number and payment method through Amazon.com Gift Cards for whenever Nite Flirt's issues are driving you crazy, and you do not need to give out your credit card number to a flirt.

Nite Flirt's Current Issues According to Nite Flirt:

We have a good handful of issues on the listing that Lxxxx Rxxxx has put together (thank you, Lxxxx!) that we are working on resolving but we would love more examples. If you are still experiencing the below issues, please fill out a support form with all the details so we can look into your examples and get these issues taken care of.
(1) Sometimes people are getting a recording asking them if they want to change their availability instead of the NF intro when they answer the phone.
(2) On some calls, pressing one to accept the call takes you into availability menu, possibly the same as #5 above, possibly different issue.
(3) Often there is no recording at the end of a call to indicate the call is ended and what the time and amount earned was, instead there is a repeating message that never ends that you get that says 'please hold while we ask the customer.....", but in fact, the call has really ended but not disconnected
(4) On paid calls, amounts paid don't match up to what recording says...and their is no good way in transactions to reconcile free minutes into transaction, use of free minutes in a specific transaction is unknown
(5) Within 5 seconds of the "one minute warning" the message that comes on to say the caller must add to the account comes on...no where near a minute
(6) Very old mail may be listed as new mail since the transition, resulting in "new" mails being buried pages and pages back
(7) Some flirts cannot edit the color of their text-defaults to black
(8) Pop up message for code for PTV buttons has cryptic message instead of indicating the title of the PTV like it used to.
(9) Some customers are being cut off after one minute on the phone after they have just added a large amount to their account.
(10) When clicking a call button, some callers are initially given a message that they have a lot of time in their account, but when attempting to connect, get a message that the do not have enough for a minute and must add. (See screenshot below by PAQ)
(11) Some flirts have listings that disappear after taking a call
(12) Some flirts have deleted listings appearing

Customers having issues with Nite Flirt

I appreciate everyone who has stuck with me through the Nite Flirt fiasco. A few of you have contacted me with several issues. I'm happy to assist in any way I can from this side of the problems.

ACCOUNTS: If you are missing funds from your account, or are blocked out of your account, or did not receive a refund or credit for a particular situation, let me know and I will contact customer service for you.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: At this time, there is no Customer Service phone number - only an email. This seems to be a new trend among website companies. They don't want to waste time or money on Phone Service to customers plus they do not have to listen to customers bitch. All you can do is send an email and hope they email back.

REPEATED BUSY SIGNAL: If you try to call me and get a repeated busy signal (trust me, calls are not that busy), then please email me and let me know. After some calls, especially those when customers are trying to add money to their accounts or another call tries to beep through, the system automatically sets our buttons to BUSY or AWAY without us knowing. Again, please let me know.

ADDING MORE MONEY: If you get disconnected when you try to add more money during a call, please let me know so I can pass it on to customer service. Each of these glitches have to be repaired before Nite Flirt will pay us for the errors on calls in the system.

DISCONNECTS: If your call is getting disconnected during the call, let me know. On our end, we just assume you shot your load and hung up. If your call is disconnected before you speak to a flirt, let me know.

EMAILS: If you try to email me at Nite Flirt and have difficulties, just use my private email at ladylila@sbcglobal.net

PAY-TO-VIEWS and DOWNLOADS and TRIBUTES: Nite Flirt is having an abundance of problems with each of these. In fact, some of us know customers downloaded and paid for some mails and attachments but the Flirts (us) were not paid for it. If you've ordered anything and paid for it via email, please let me know so I can see whether I was paid for it or not by Nite Flirt. It seems tributes are having a really bad time being paid as well as paid emails. It may be preferable to use an alternative method of payment for these items until this is straightened out, see below:

ALTERNATE PAYMENT OPTIONS: You can pay for any Paid Emails, Pay-To-View Emails, Tributes, Slave Penalties, Lessons or Assignments, Contracts, Sissy or Trance Aids, Downloads, etc., through an Amazon.com Gift Card. Please note that the Gift Card can take 24-48 hours to arrive, but your item will be sent out immediately upon it's arrival. Just state in an email to me, what you would like to purchase with the Gift Card. Same goes for calls if the Nite Flirt system is not working. Decisions

NEW HOME: We've purchased a smaller home in Las Vegas under one of my slave's names and are in the process of moving in. My slave will precede me there and do some repairs and upgrades to the home over the next three months. It's much smaller than I am use to, but also a lot less to deal with on the mortgage and utilities. I'm trying to cram five bedrooms/3 baths plus a country kitchen and additional den into a three bedroom/2 bath, no den, small kitchen. It's been crazy deciding what to keep and what to let go. I hate the Vegas traffic and crime. Plus, I don't like the location which is a high crime area (but all of Las Vegas is, so what the hell), but I had to acquire something very close to my elderly parents whom I'm helping out right now. I'm sinking a lot of money into security for it including wrought-iron security panels for all windows and doors, and a Brinks Home Security System. It doesn't have a garage, so we are installing a drive-through gate to the backyard which is fenced, and pouring concrete for the drive-through. Can any of you give me any security tips or ideas to make it safer? I know you want your Mistress to be as safe as possible.

VANILLA FUN WITH FOOD & MOVIES: I'm looking at the advantages to living in Vegas though. I absolutely love going to the movie theaters, eating out at excellent restaurants, and shopping for exclusive and specialty items. Vegas is certainly the place for that. A good place to find me on weekends is the Town Square on Las Vegas Blvd. They have the best movie theater in Vegas plus hundreds of shops and restaurants all located in one square mile. In the evenings (and other times), they have nightly special events, especially at the bars and dance clubs in the venue. Some of the best food and service I've enjoyed have been at the Yard House restaurant and bar. It's always packed, but let that scare you away. The service is still impeccable and fast. The Yard House is an upscale-casual eatery known for its extensive menu, classic rock music, and world’s largest selection of draft beer. Each Yard House location features a transparent keg room containing more than 400 barrels, some 1,000 gallons of beer, and an endless fleet of tap handles — 100 to 250 depending on the location. The menu of American Fusion cuisine includes an impressive selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, individual-size pizzas, seafood, steaks, ribs and chops. I personally love the Asian appetizers and ribs. Every appetizer we have ordered has been exceptional and delicious. I also love eating at the Kabuki Japanese Restaurant near the Rave theaters. Again, the service is overwhelmingly impeccable (seeing a theme here? *grin*). Mistresses love good service. When you walk into Kabuki, you won’t be overwhelmed with Asian decor or music. What you will encounter is a casual atmosphere with modern music playing and people smiling. Mostly it's a yuppie upscale place. But, hey, Mistress loves Sushi and can't help downing a little hot Sake.

NEW YEAR'S EVE, MEET ME: Even though I'll now be living in Vegas instead of Mesquite, I will still be receiving some casino comps from a nice caller. He has already made my reservations for the New Year's Eve Party at Excalibur. I'll be there from Wednesday, December 30, 12 noon, to Saturday, January 2, 11 am. GAY AND TRANNY CLUBS: Another bonus to living in Vegas is having access to the Gay and Tranny hang outs, which quite a few of my callers, slaves, and lifestyle friends enjoy. The Vegas areas for this type of fun are Commercial Center and the Fruit Loop *lol*. I didn't make that up, that is what it is really called. Commercial Center is located on the southwest corner of Maryland Parkway and Sahara. It contains Hank's Gym which is a favorite male gay bath house in Vegas. It's billed as a "private men's social club" and reviews say it's men only so don't show up in drag (women's clothes), Fridays and Saturdays from 11pm-5am are the busiest times, lots of hot guys but also some freaks and trolls, staff is great and the men are sex pigs, one man says he can usually hook up three time sin one evening, another says he was stuffed with cum and never had so much fun in his life. It's a definite for my gay callers to check out. You'll find your gay cowboys at the Badlands Saloon and your leathermen at the Spotlight Lounge. On the backside of Commercial Center on Karen Street, you'll find your tranny bar called the Las Vegas Lounge - this place is for transgendered and those who admire them. Tranny go-go dancers appear most nights of the week. This is also a place for the 'pros' to gather and it's a little on the seedy side but I know some of you like that. Reviews about the Lounge say the place is kind of dumpy, the best time to be there is early am around 1-2am when the amateurs and newbies come around, quite a few pros hang out there and will charge newcomers out the ass, and sometimes there are amazing looking TGs. Nearby, on E. Tropicana you'll find the Las Vegas Eagle bar which also hosts your leathermen. Who doesn't like a hot man in leather? In the Fruit Loop, an area from Harmon to Tropicana on Paradise Road, hosts Club Menage and Gypsy's which have been icons for the Fruit Loop. You may find some of the Fruit Loop offerings are tainted by cliques where visitors tend to be treated anywhere from barely nice to rude, so just take your chances and enjoy the view at these clubs.

HETERO SEX CLUBS: Vegas is also known for its sex clubs and prostitution. Prostitution abounds from street walkers to call outs (escort services in the phone book and flyers). Even though prostitution is illegal in Vegas, it gets by abundantly. Hookers patrol the Strip hotels and Strip side walks, and Tropicana just off the Strip, west bound, is considered Hooker Row. It's not unusual to see hookers in the parking lots of the hotels giving blow jobs in parked cars. Prices range from $40 (blow job from sleaze drug addict hooker) to $200+ for a handjob from an escort (in addition to her hourly charge for just "escorting"). The town is also sprinkled with Asian massage parlors, and yes, according to my callers who go to them, they do give hand and blow services for a nice tip (usually around $40-$80 after the massage payment of $60 to $100, but what the hell, they massage "everything"). And then there is the Sex Clubs which usually have an admit fee ranging from $20 to $200 for men, women are usually free, but prices depend on whether you act like a tourist or a local. You can try the Red Rooster in far E. Tropicana (but it takes a little special knowledge to purchase entrance and find them. On weekends they are pretty crowded with 100-200 people at a time sucking, blowing and enjoying the orgy room. According to some of my friends, crossdressers are not welcomed. So keep it straight. The price is anywhere from $20-$200 for men depending on whether you seem to know what you are doing or are form out of state. But it is one of the better sex clubs in Vegas. You'll also find several Sex Clubs in the Commercial Center listed above, along side the gay clubs. These include Fantasy Social Club, usually $40 for couples $60 for men, women alone are free; and the Green Door, usually $50 for couples $60 for men, $10 for single women, with special prices for slow nights; and a small Red Rooster outlet, not nearly as nice as the Tropicana version, but couple admission is $10-$20, men $50, single women free, depending on the night you choose. I've been to these clubs and most times mid-week they are dead empty, so choose a weekend night. FORECLOSING MESQUITE HOME: Now that the decision has been made to let my current home go, some of my personal stress has been lifted. Nite Flirt's upgrade timing came at the very worst time possible for many people including me. Just imagine, your only income source is your work, and it shuts down for three to five weeks without pay or with pay reduced to 20%. Plus, the Nite Flirt upgrade still has no definite date for its relaunch. I had hoped to sell my home and use the equity to purchase another one, but with the economy woes and the housing mortgage scam by the banks, my home's value tanked. It went from $300,000 to less than $100,000. I owe $150,000 which is much less than the sell price can be. New laws that were passed prevents me from selling it any way except for a cash or short sale because it is 31 years old and banks refuse to finance it now even though it is excellent shape. Las Vegas has so many brand new homes for sale that selling a use done at a higher price just will not happen. I cannot take a $60,000+ loss that I have to pay back on a home I can't keep, so it goes to foreclosure and I'm filing a bankruptcy to clear the loan from my credit. It all sucks, but I know I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. But I can clearly attribute the loss of my home to Nite Flirt's upgrade. One month without pay in this hard economic times was enough for me to lose it.

CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE: Of course, chocolate and coffee still make me a bad girl. They run my life. Hot chocolate-flavored coffee in the mornings, chocolate truffles for lunch, chocolate coffee ice drinks in the afternoon (from Sonic, they make the best using ice cream instead of just ice), chocolate coffee spoons and melts in hot coffee for dinner, and a nice chocolate bon-bon for late night dessert followed by a heavy dose of iced chocolate decaf coffee before bed. When I'm being really bad, I also make several drive-throughs at McDonald's for sugar-free vanilla ice coffee or mocha ice coffee. Rains and Pours

You've heard the old saying, "when it rains, it pours," meaning when something bad rains down on you many other negatives seem to follow. I think it just means "shit happens" and it happens a lot whenever it wants to. But why let it ruin your day. I have always been able to find a little humor in even the bad days, the shit happens days, and the the days when it pours *smile*.

RECOVERING: Well, at the moment, I'm very available for calls despite Nite Flirts problems. My friend and I were on our way to dinner together, October 8. She was driving. As we crossed an intersection, an elderly couple ran a stop sign and struck the edge of my door on the passenger side and most of the back door on my side, spinning the car in a hard circle and rolling it on to the driver's side. A group of boys in a passing car saw the accident, and pushed the car back upright for us and helped us out. The couple must have been doing about 60 miles an hour when they hit us. Luckily, or not, my friend's car has side airbags, which inflated for me. I was not injured severely, but for the past week, I have been suffering from a nasty case of whiplash from the airbag. I couldn't lay down or move my head from side to side. It was so sore from the base of my skull all the way through my shoulders. Just this week, I can finally move it enough to drive, and be able to look over my shoulder a little to shift lanes or turn a corner. And now, I'm sore in another place, my lower back and shoulders. The doctor says it will take several weeks for all the stiffness to go away - plus he gave me some fairly strong pain killers and muscle relaxers. No one told me you shouldn't take them together, so the first couple of days I walked around like a drunk zombie. I don't take medications hardly ever, and these were very strong. *lol* I had to go back to the doctor and ask for a lighter prescription and to stop taking the muscle relaxers all together because they made me loopy as shit. So, I apologize if you caught me on one of my loopy nights with a call *LOL* - although I'm thinking maybe it was a good thing now, because so many of you talked much longer to me while I was loopy. Did I make any promises that I may not remember *big grin*?

NITE FLIRT UPDATE: No relief in sight yet.
(1) ADDING MONEY TO THE ACCOUNT: If you have difficulty adding more money to your account, check your account information. It seems the system is resetting, deleting or changing account information on its own, and therefore, your account information may show no credit card, or an outdated credit card, etc. So, check it, correct it and it may work again.
(2) EMAILS: I'm not ignoring, really! Nite Flirt emails have a mind of their own right now. Sometimes I can send mail out and sometimes I cannot. Sometimes the mail buttons work and sometimes they don't. I could go on and on. So, if you send me an email and I don't answer - just contact me at my regular email - so far it works all the time ladylila@sbcglobal.net and I do check it regularly.
(3) DISCONNECTS: Did our call disconnect after only one or two minutes, or disconnect when you tried to add money? So sorry! But it's not me. Some of the calls are still having glitches, and Nite Flirt is working on it. Hopefully it will be repaired soon.
(4) BETA: Yah, we're still in Beta Nite Flirt. They are still fixing the glitches and problems, which come and go and come and go. And there is no date in sight for when it will be back to normal. MY LIFE:

Insomnia: Okay, this is what several nights of insomnia get you! I stay up all night, writing and bitching and whining, until I've written a whole book for you to read. I'm having some bad bouts of insomnia right now, as I struggle to get my finances and other life yearnings in order. So you may want to skip reading this, unless you are really, really bored, or just totally enamored with your Mistrress! *big grin* Yes, there's a little begging, a bit of whining, and some "trying to make the best" of things. So, I'm not going to say "enjoy!" *lol*

The Good: Starting in January 2010, I'm going to be saving a lot of money as I allow my home to go into foreclosure, and then bankruptcy to clear the mortgage and equity line loans. I'll be living rent free from January to May, and I'll be able to save up quite a bit so my savings should look good again by the middle of next year. Hey! I have to find rainbows on the horizon where I can get them these days. It's not much but it's something. I'm losing my home and this is better than sitting on the front porch crying. No matter what has happened to me in the past, each bad event has lead to a better ending. I'm hoping this one does the same thing.

The Bad: Things have certainly changed with the unexpected Nite Flirt shut-down and remodel. It just caught quite a few of us at a really bad time. We are still shaking our heads and wondering "What were they thinking?" when they decided to do this during the midst of a deep recession. I was the last wage earner left working in the house, and now NF screwed that up. Sadly, I won't be saving my house. I wanted to sell it, and had planned to do so about two years ago, but alas, I waited a bit too long. The market fell, my house depreciated, and if I could hold out for another 5 years or so, the value might come back up enough. But I can't hold out that long in this recession and with Nite Flirt's "straw that broke the camel's back." I lost $100,000 in equity in two years. Now, the house is actually valued at less than when I originally bought it back 5 years ago. Since I can't sell it, keep the mortgage payments going on half income, or pay back the home equity (improvement) loan I have on it, I'm headed to the backruptcy lawyer tomorrow to prepare to let it go. I tried everything I could with my mortgage company, who offered some real nice *sarcasm fully intended* arrangements. They said I didn't qualify for loan modification or refinancing because I have unique income (phone sex and sessions) and because I'm a dumbass who actually pays her bills on time. They said they might (and it was a big iffy might) be able to help me if I was like 10 months behind on my mortgage, but no promises. They said also I could just give them the keys and they'll call it even but I'd still have to pay the equity line off, and oh yah, it going to completely trash my credit. Then they tried to tell me how "trashed credit by them" would be better for me than a bankruptcy. Or I could do a short sale and only owe the balance of whatever they couldn't get for me. In fact, they offered several options to walk away from the property with just "totally trashed" credit. I truly not a happy camper. If my credit is going to be trashed anyway - it's going to be on my terms. I plan to sell off everything I put into the home including the two AC units on the roof. I won't get $100,000 out of it, but I will get a few thousand that may hold me over through these rough times.

The Ugly: In the meantime, and this truly sucks, when I leave the house, I'll be moving back in with my parents while I search for a home in their neighborhood that I can buy for cash. I had already planned to move near them (they are elderly and need help), but now I have to move in with them while I shop for a home in a bad part of town. *Push the gun a little closer* That means no kinky play while there unless my generous Nite Flirt caller sets me up with his casino comp rooms. I don't want to give my aging father a heart attack by showing him what his daught really likes ot do in her spare time. I had hoped to buy a home on the other side of the highway from them, but find that I will probably end up with them and then with a rented home in crime-ridden North Las Vegas, on their very street. *gag, gag, puke* I f*cking hate renting.

MY SLAVES:

Still Laid Off: My two slaves are both in construction, and both laid off due to Vegas not having any construction at all at this time. I moved one of them out temporarily in with his in-laws who are also caring for him mother, who was taken from a moderate nursing home to home care due to his not having a paycheck anymore. My other provided my health insurance and has taken to parking his truck at Home Depot for a side job here and there. My sissy also had to move out, temporarily, and is staying in Vegas with friends of mine, with a job driving an ad truck, so he can make enough to pay his child support. Yah, kind of funny huh? My sissy has kids and child support. It's hard for some to picture. But even slaves have real time life commitments other than their Mistress. If you don't live in Nevada or watch the news, you probably don't know that Nevada has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation and it continues to climb. Unlike the casinos, I cannot just quit paying bills and claim a reorganization type bankruptcy to hold me over. In fact, the casino news makes me want to puke. The casinos whine about only having $20 million in profits over the last month instead of their usual $60 million a month. Must be nice, huh? They are bitching about a $20 million profit - yah PROFIT, while we all scrimp for groceries and hope the state's unemployment doesn't run out. The Great Mortgage Scam and Bail Out Scam has royally screwed us all.

Perks: Living in Vegas will have it perks, so that's something positive. I'll be able to be active in the local BDSM groups, maybe attend a few parties (it's been a while), and enjoy the rewards of higher education. Most people don't know this about me, but I have 102 college credits - and no degree. I just hate taking those boring core credits that are required for degrees. I just refer to myself as a career student. *lol* I plan to take some classes in Dreamweaver, so I won't have t pay out the ass for web design anymore. Also, I love going to the movies, so that will be a weekly occurance. And, we'll actually have extra cash to go to the movies since I won't have a mortgage or rent payment for a while.

Another highlight: Even though my credit will be trashed, my slave, the one I married for health insurance, who is in his early 20s, can buy a house under his own name. All we have to do is save up for the down payment (which will take quite a while in this economy) and wait until he is working full time again (which we are told by the union could be two years or more). But it is an option. He would buy the home, and then Quit Claim it to me. My tumbling blocks of life start falling in January with the bankruptcy but hopefully pick up in May 2010, as I begin to rebuild credit and home.

CHOCOLATE HELPS: So, how about it? Send me a little dark chocolate and some chocolate flavored coffee? I'm in the process of packing up my house and moving everything. This brings me across a lot of momentos, and decisions about what to keep, what to store and what to sell. Which causes quite a few tears on my part. I loved my house, and I hate to see it go. I had even decided I wanted to keep it and not move after all (just keep driving back and forth for my parents care like I've done the past two years), but alas, someitmes life makes the decisions for you. NITE FLIRT: The Nite Flirt (NF) crisis is not over yet. *Damn it* We are still being told there is no definite launch date for return to the regular site. But please hang in there with me, it's getting better each day. These are some of the issues we are still facing. (1) Adding money: In the meantime, customers are still battling the system when they try to add money. It's recommended that if you have this difficulty, check your account settings. Some customers have experienced NF reverting their pages back to credit cards that have expired or been changed out for another one. Simply re-enter your credit card info and try again. Sometimes it's best to just use the leftover minutes in your account, and then hang up when that voice comes on telling you to add more, then redial and add to your account and begin the call again as a new call. Sometimes the call disconnects at that point any way. (2) Disconnects: PLEASE do not blame your flirt for these issues. I had a caller the other night who talked for 5 minutes, then the "add more money" voice came on and we were disconnected. He tried twice more to connect with me, and each time it was for one minute then disconnected again. Now I know some of this is due to callers using only free minutes and then trying to add money, but all they get is a disconnect after the free minute is over. It's not the flirts fault, but this caller sent me a blazing email thinking I had hung up on him. Believe me, there are no hang ups on my end, I need the funds, every last penny of them! (3) Two calls at once: Also, some of the flirts are having their calls interrupted with second calls coming through while they are a call already, and sometimes this disconnects them. The NF system is suppose to see that you are on a call and set you to busy so additional calls do not come through. But that is only working periodically. Sometimes a second call coming through cuts the first one off with a disconnect. Again, not the flirts fault. (4) Taking Calls or Away: Some of us are unable to log off and/or back on. In my case, the log off and log on are not working right. So sometimes my pages say I am logged on and I find out I'm not, and other times, I log off but I'm really still logged on. PLEASE do not become impatient with me if you call and I pick up and say please call back later. If I ask you to call back later, it means I was in the middle of a sleep cycle. I'm trying to stay on around the clock, and have awakened many times to take a late or early call over the past two weeks. But at some point I reach the state of exhaustion and have to rest uninterrupted, or have an appointment and must rest before I go to it. I apologize for the system not working right. (5) FREE minutes: A few customers asked for free minutes when disconnects and other problems occur. I'm happy to give out FREE minutes, because I want happy callers, however, at this time NF won't let some of us send out free minutes or pay-to-views or payment requests, or it might let us send a pay-to-view but not minutes. Some of us are also having difficulty sending attachments with our emails. The email goes through but not the attachment. And lastly, a part that really sucks, we can only email one customer at a time. (6) Tributes: At this time, Nite Flirt is telling us, it cannot take tributes. So, if you like sending me tributes, you'll have to change over to Gift Cards until that's fixed. (7) FREE New Kinky 35-Page Updated Catalog: I have a NEW Kinky Catalog that contains 35-pages of web items and photos. The first edition contained only 15-pages. There have been many guesses and potential reasons for Nite Flirt being down, but most of us think Nite Flirt lost its software agreement for the platform (the web site design and use of it) and had to build another one from scratch; as well as replace their merchant services for processing credit cards with another one. It's likely, the rebuild of the site software was much more intensive than they thought, and they are having difficulty getting it done. First they said it would take 4 hours, then 12 hours, then one week, and now it looks like it may take several weeks or longer. But in the meantime, Nite Flirt has provided the Beta Site (link above) to use while the main site is being renewed and completed. The Beta Site works the same as the original site worked. Nite Flirt has completed a lot of different sections like: Call Buttons, some Listings, page transfers, money issues, etc. There is more left to be done. If you read the Nite Flirt forum posts you will see what those problems are and when they are corrected.

But you can still call and everything, the issues mainly effect your flirt not you. However, some customers are having difficulty adding funds to their accounts. Also, sometimes, when they are working on a specific problem, they shut down call access for a few hours. In these cases, just keep trying. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to get you an answer, or set up another arrangement for you.

For the time being, Beta Call Buttons on my Homepage and this blog are only working sporadically. I just received a two-minute call, so please try again now! I suggest trying them off and on as they do work some of the time. Same thing with Payment Buttons, however, only the GREEN Payment Buttons in the previous blog posts are working off on and on, and not the site payment-type buttons. My father has always been a proud, moral family man. He’s a concrete cowboy with a gentleman’s composure, calls women “Ma’am,” says please and thank you, and never cusses. We have a family joke that involves his turn to kick the bucket (death’s door). He made me promise to never put him in a nursing home should he become disabled. I told him I was happy to take care of him no matter what and I could bring in help if I needed it. He said I misunderstood. I should have known. My father is too proud to ever become a burden on his family. He wanted to make sure I knew the rules should the time come that he could no longer take care of himself. **Rules? I didn’t know there were rules.** He carefully explained: “No life support, no machines, no one else wiping my butt when I can no longer do it.” He emphasized the last part was the most important! He went on to explain: “You don’t have to pull the plug, sis. I watch the news and I know some states have issues with that. I don’t want you to get in trouble and I don’t want that to be your responsibility.” Well, phew! Thank gawd for that, I thought. Then he leaned in real close and whispered, “You just push my gun a little closer, and leave. I’ll take care of that myself.” He meant it, too! He was serious as a heart attack.

Wow, huh? What a privilege! I get the auspicious family duty of handling my father’s suicide. After the shock faded, I gave him a hug and told him not to worry about it, which he took as my solemn vow to be ready for the task. *LOL* That wasn't what I meant - but **Oh, well.**

You see, I am a strong, organized, practical woman who has no problem pulling the plug should it become necessary. Family members choose me to stand with them for hard decisions and moral support because I can keep level-headed and not waiver under intense circumstances. I would quite willingly have opted for “plug” chore. So, the family found my predicament rather amusing. They each decided to join my daddy's little pact and asked me to make the same promise for them. For some reason, I don’t find it as funny as they do. *sigh*

So, it became a family joke. Whenever life became too stressful or we needed comedy relief or were bored out of our minds, someone would say: “Push the gun a little closer.” The rest of us would laugh, roll our eyes, sigh, or aim a finger at them and shoot. Discussion would turn to who would have to provide guns for those who don't have them, or clean up the mess, and on and on, with every one turning down each responsibility and passing it off on me. Ha ha funny! Not!

Where is this leading? *LOL* Well, I’m at that point! Please, someone, push the gun a little closer! The stress of Nite Flirt is more than I can handle! I know some of you are trying to call me and/or send me payments. Thank you so much for trying. No matter how hard I work to gain access for all of us to the Beta Nite Flirt site, Nite Flirt continues to sabotage me at every step.

I spent days trying to contact as many callers as possible in order to continue some pretense of making my paycheck. It was tedious. I could only connect with about 20% of my callers: those who were computer-users, those who gave me their personal email addresses prior to the Nite Flirt crash-and-burn, those who actually read Nite Flirt emails (and could get into their accounts), those who actually received the unreliable emailed updates (because the Beta version refused to send many of them out), and those who had the intelligence to contact me via Yahoo messenger or my blog. But hey??!! Twenty percent is better than nothing! Right?

Not so fast partner. I put in hours upon hours of time, emailing Nite Flirt info to callers, and then re-mailing it because the first information changed, and then emailing callers again and again as some of the information became bogus. But for a short six hours Sunday night, calls began coming in. You all wanted to help so much, and I was overwhelmed with the wonderfulness of it. Then the calls stopped abruptly and didn’t come back. I was signed on, every thing said I had a "go" light … but callers couldn’t call me. The Beta site button said, “Yes taking Calls” but the phone said “Away not Taking Calls.” I’m told Nite Flirt is attempting to reset those Call Buttons on a one-to-one basis as we report them, but I have no idea how long that may be. Soon, I hope! Very soon! Just a few minutes ago, a short two minute call squeaked in. So, maybe - try again! Or just "Push the gun a little closer." One of us needs put out of our misery! *big grin*

So, if we can’t phone chat, maybe I regale you with these little stories of my life and times. In between non-calls, I’ll post updates. His said, “Mistresses never whine, they merely state their preference.” That made me smile.

It was an amusing and intelligent response from him, considering slaves must never criticize or negate their Mistress in any way. A whining Mistress is not a good thing. Mistresses hate whining. They hate hearing others whine and they especially hate hearing themselves whine. And Mistresses hate asking for help. It feels like an admission of weakness or failure.

The Mistress persona exudes self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-control along with the illusion of having others fall at her feet with hopes they will be controlled by her as well. Many slave applicants make the mistake of thinking Mistresses control their slaves. Actually, Mistresses teach you how to control yourself in a manner that pleases them most.

Being a control freak (most Mistresses are!), I always made sure I worked and earned enough income to be self-reliant. Relying on slaves, submissive men, and others in general to support you does not sit well with most Mistresses. Sometimes it makes me wonder if it is a control issue or lack of trust issue. I always want to be sure I can take care of my material needs, but I allow others to take care of my physical and emotional needs. I guess that is because slaves come and go. Most slaves serve a Mistress for 18 months to seven years, and then move on with their lives.

Slaves create a multiple-income household for a Mistress, which is nice. With each person added, you have a little more extra income that can be used for entertainment and items above and beyond general expenses, and someone to ease the chore and work load. It is purely a financial arrangement and he signed a pre-nuptial agreement and undated divorce decree in case I decide to dissolve it.

That brings me back to chocolate. Chocolate is one of my rare indulgences as a diabetic. It’s a myth that diabetics can never eat sugar or sweets. We merely have to adjust our insulin intake to cover our sweet tooth, and make sure we don’t over do it. I use all my indulgence for specialty chocolate. *big grin*

Another thing callers do not know about me is I am a late life baby. This means my parents are elderly (mom is 78, dad is 82). My parents live in Las Vegas, and once a week, my sissy with has caretaker training and I spend two days with them (usually Monday and Tuesday). My parents are both suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer’s and their physical health is deteriorating. I cook several meals for them and freeze them. Due to the recession and loss of income within my household, I will be selling my home (probably at a substantial loss to the equity) and moving into a smaller, more reasonable residence. At least, I hope I’ll be able to sell it. One of my slaves had to allow repossession of his vehicle, and another had to relocate his mother from a nice nursing home to the home of a relative. Being the only real income earner other than some unemployment coming in, Nite Flirt’s sudden closure for server upgrades is about to do me in. By the time Nite Flirt is operational again, I will have loss nearly a month’s income. Plus, the return to work will present us with fewer customers (many have bailed and went to other services) and a need to advertise again to rebuild our client base.

Up until now, I got by comfortably with my Nite Flirt income added to my slave’s unemployment. “Comfortably” means no frills but the cupboards are full of food, my insulin is covered, the bills are getting paid, and an occasional free hotel stay courtesy of a kind customer. Sometimes that’s enough.

This past month has placed me in the “not enough” category. This is where I whine. Thoughts of an insulin pump or stocking my kitty with chocolate are gone! I’m just working on the basics now. What Happened

Everyone should be well aware of Nite Flirt's problems by now. Despite the fact that many of us encouraged Nite Flirt to send an email to all flirts and customers regarding this down time, we are finding out no one was notified. I don't want to lose my customers, so here's the facts:
(1) Nite Flirt is making upgrades and will not be in service until they are completed. These upgrades will hopefully end the broken calls, accidental hang ups, and other glitches Nite Flirt experiences.
(2) Some flirts were informed that this outage would last only 4-8 hours. That was upgraded to 12 hours, and now after 4 days, we are being told it may be even longer before Nite Flirt is working again. At the moment we are told it will not be up today or tomorrow. We cannot say exactly when it may be up. But I have to say, other sites similar to this have been down for weeks during major upgrades.

(3) Even when the site is back up, there will probably be ongoing outages over the next weeks while they tweak it.

In most cop-oriented television series, kinky sex is left to the criminals rather than the cops. Not so on TNT's "Saving Grace." This is the first series I've found with an exceedingly fresh script that never repeats itself or becomes boring. Despite the angel aspect, it promotes life in a realistic manner that shoves it ahead of the bland television line up of the past few years.

Most people have to turn to Nip/Tuck or soaps to get a little over the edge kink. I appreciate shows like Nip/Tuck for the shock factor alone and the nerve to put things on televisions that were always forbidden. Take for instance the episode, A Language of Angels. In the television series, Holly Hunter plays an Oklahoma cop. In this episode, it's insinuated that Grace has picked up a one night stand who turns out to be quite kinky. In another episode, Take Me Somewhere, Earl, there is a knock at the door. A cop friend of Grace's has the information she is seeking, but she has to pay a price for it. I'm sure my response was the expected one or the one the writers were trying to elicit.

It's always nice to see the hidden kink of America so blatantly exposed on television. And to see it exposed in the livingroom of a cop -- well, we all love a man (or woman *grin*) in uniform, don't we? It humanizes police in a way that probably scares the shit out of most people *lol*.

Sadly, this wonderful series is on its last leg. It's being cancelled. The last of the series will run Summer 2010. This makes me wonder? Did they take it too far? Did the mix of angel, spanking and bondage push religious viewers to the edge? If the show had been based solely on cops in Oklahoma with no "angel" aspect, I bet it would have lasted several more seasons.

Oh well, another one bites the dust! Despite the apparent florish of BDSM in commercials, television series and movies, it is still considered a nasty perversion. In a personal experience, I had friends who used a belt around the male's neck, pulled tight during the play as part of the tease, then pulled very tight at the last moments of play just before the orgasm to intensify it. This "belt" practice is especially dangerous because the partner may feel that she has control of the situation without realizing how easy it is for the belt to become jammed or stuck, stopping quick release. Although the danger is less if you are safely positioned away from falls, fire (smokers), or strangulation, keep in mind that brain damage can occur in as little as three minutes. A person also risks lacerating, cutting or bruising the neck, trachea, and esophagus.

Every time this form of play is used, a person could end up with brain damage or dead. About 500 to 1,000 deaths a year occur during this sexual play.
