  • Over at Edmunds Inside Line they got the opportunity most of us only dream of, driving the wheels off a 2010 Shelby GT500 and a 2010 Hennessey HPE500 Camaro for the ultimate comparison test. Inside Line ran both cars through a bevy of tests including the 0-60 mph, quarter-mile, 60-0 mph braking, Lateral Acceleration and the 600-ft slalom.   • 2009 Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina July 20th-26th

    Since 2002, Mustang Week has been a staple in the Myrtle Beach area in July drawing hundreds of Mustangs and thousands of visitors for the week long celebration of Mustangs with car shows, cruises, drag racing, burn out contests and more.  This year Mustang Week will have an added bonus of hosting the SVTOA (Special Vehicle Team Owners Association) "Experience IV" nationals.  Having only been held three other times the SVTOA nationals will bring together SVT owners from around the country for a car show, club dinner and a track event.

  • Update: 'The Sniper' Twin-Turbo Viper V-10 Powered SN95 Mustang is Alive

    The Sniper project we wrote about in a previous post back in December has popped up in the news with an update to the project.  The Twin-Turbo Viper V-10 powered SN95 Mustang is alive and kicking with some new video proof and photos.  The video below shows the twin-turbo V-10 powered Mustang starting up and idling.  I know it's like watching paint dry but it's an update to one insane project.  There is also a new set of photos below with the wheels and painted engine.  The Sniper project looks to be in the final tuning stages and we cannot wait till it's streetable.
