When i was a kid, my idol was Mikee Cojuangco. I liked her so much because she’s pretty, nice, and simple. I like seeing her on television and i would watch movies she was in. Among the list in her filmography, i only remember seeing Forever¹, I Love You Sabado², and Do Re Mi³. She is also an equestrienne and participated in various competitions, bringing pride to our country.

I have always wondered how it would be to ride a horse. My first experience to ride a horse was when i was 3 or 4, when we went to Baguio. I was so young, i could barely remember what happened. The last time i rode was in high school, on a field trip to Tagaytay. I enjoyed it so much that i want to try it again. I think it was 20 pesos for one turn around ride. I would like to ride a horse again, it is so much fun.

I wonder where they get horse supplies? There was a time when horse shampoo was “in”, people used it because it makes the hair softer, like a horse’s mane. My mom bought that shampoo and we used it for a while. We stopped when fake horse shampoos came out.

More RPattz in New Moon

For those who have read the book, New Moon’s story focuses on Bella Swan spending time and getting close with Jacob Black because Edward Cullen left her. Edward only appeared in the first three chapters of the book, and again at the last chapters when Bella went after him in Italy. Apparently, the production found a way to have more scenes for RPattz in the movie than the exposure Edward Cullen had in the book. Twilight co-star Michael Welch told the press about this and also said, “It’s more of, like, a hallucination kind of thing.”

Again, for those who have read the book know that Bella experienced hallucinations of hearing Edward whenever she did something stupid or daring. When i first read that part, i thought that Edward could possibly be around, watching over her. But then again, how could she have heard him when that’s not how his special powers work. So i’m guessing that’s how they did it in the movie. Hmm.. The Twilight Saga is not my favorite but still, i can’t wait to see it in theaters.

In somewhat related news, RPattz is filming another movie entitled Remember Me, and was spotted shooting a bicycle scene in Washington Square Park.

Edward Cullen is so hungry, he wants to eat the bicycle.

Since i haven’t been reading my RSS feeds for months now, i am not updated with Hollywood happenings anymore. Except for Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson’s death, which was reported in the news. Now i decided to open my browser’s feed sidebar and clicked on Celebrity Scandals: The Gossip Girls. Here are some stories that i felt like posting here.

Britney Spears takes two sons boating.

Britney Spears spent time with her two boys, Jayden James and Sean Preston, on Tuesday, June 30. They first headed out on a yacht in the Marina Del Rey for a boat ride, then a trip to Fred Segal in Santa Monica for a little shopping. Brit will soon be flying off to Europe, where she is scheduled for the Circus tour in Paris, France.

Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa, engaged!

Next that caught my attention was Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa. Well good for them! Though i think they’re still young and should enjoy their single lives, but they are old enough to know what they’re doing. I wish them both a happy life together.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning

In latest news, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were filming scenes for their movie “The Runaways” in L.A. on Wednesday, July 1. Dakota is so pretty, i can’t believe she’s all grown up now. It feels like just yesterday when she was this cute little kid trying to save a little pig¹. And now she’s co-starring with Kristen Stewart in a movie about a ’70s teenage band. Look at the boots she’s wearing!

Aside from filming this movie, aren’t they also filming for New Moon? According to Imdb.com, Fanning is playing the role of Jane in the 2nd installment of the Twilight Saga. I think she fits the role well.

Fire at Parc Royale

I witnessed a fire this afternoon. Well, not really a fire, i saw smoke from a building and the traffic enforcer said there was a fire¹. It was in Parc Royale in Ortigas, beside the Philippine Stock Exchange. I estimate 10 or more fire trucks and rescue teams when i passed by. As i rolled my window up again, i overheard the traffic enforcer tell someone that the fire started around 4pm.

When i reached the mall, i smelled the smoke when i got off the car, and even saw the view from where i was standing.

As i was headed home around 8pm, i was listening to the news in the radio and they reported the fire that was happening just a few blocks from where i was. It was also reported that the fire was still going on. You may not see it on the outside, but there’s still fire inside the building. It’s just so sad. I do hope that no one got hurt.

oh yes, i asked him. haha!

Dream Ice~ Kakigoori

I was in SM Hypermart earlier, and decided to treat myself with something new to taste. I saw this kiosk named Dream Ice.. Kakigoori and it looked good. It’s supposedly ice with topings, kinda like Ice Monster but cheaper. So i chose Melon Dream.. It’s supposedly vanilla ice, kaong, and nata de coco. I was surprised that after she put this green colored liquid in the ice, she squirted condensed milk on it, stuck a spoon, and handed it to me. WTF?? There’s no toppings? What a total waste of money. It costs 39 pesos, good thing i didn’t get the larger bowl which costs 59 pesos. I could get something like that in front of my cousin’s house for 10 pesos.

It tastes okay, cold and sweet. Perfect for the uber hot weather.

Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen

My 5 reasons why Transformers II rocks:

Megan is one hot Fox.
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are
Shia LaBeouf is really one great actor. I have liked him since Even Stevens.
The whole movie is so much fun!
Despite all the action going on, Megan is still one hot Fox!

Sunday night, my cousins¹ and I watched Transformers II in Eastwood City cinema. We went for the 10:40pm show because we didn’t make it to the 8-8:30pm one. The beginning of the movie was a ll action right away. It started with a little background story, then went to the present time and picked up where it left off last time. The Autobots, now with additional members, are allied with U.S. military forces to hunt down remaining Decepticons in the planet.

Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) is now headed for college to try and live a normal life after the alien robot incident two years ago. The farewell scene with Bumblebee is funny². Megan Fox is so hot! From beginning till the end, even when she was covered in dirt, she was such a mess and still looked hot.

The movie is action filled, robot fight scenes were awesome. And they made it comedic which is a plus because i love to laugh. We had so much fun. I want to see the movie again!

see the world, take a vacation

Who wouldn’t want to travel? Maybe someone who is contented with his/her life where she is. I, for one, would love to see the world. But before i do that, i want to tour my own country first. Of course, Love your own. And there’s so many place in this beautiful country that i would love to see and experience.
The Philippine tourism website showcases the beautiful islands’ tourist spots. We are famous for our beaches, the most famous is Boracay, and yet i haven’t been there.

I have been to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte about 7-8 years ago. It was lovely. I didn’t have a digicam back then, i only had a camera phone for taking pictures. I’m not sure if i have kept pictures from that trip. I would like to go there agian someday.

Another beach i have been to is in Panglao, Bohol. We went there a couple of years back for my birthday and i truly loved it. Aside from Panglao beach, Bohol is also famous for the Loboc River, where you can dine in a boat while it sails on the river, bringing you to a beautiful view of a small falls.

Bohol is also famous for the Chocolate Hills and tarsiers!

I promise myself I’d go back to this beautiful place. I would search for the best travel deals and enjoy a wonderful vacation.

fun times baby, fun times.

I just got home from one happy bonding time with my EM friends. We went to celebrate Nightowl’s birthday by bowling! But i didn’t bowl. I just watched them and gave my support. It was fun, we took pictures and catch up with everyone’s business. We also ate, not that much, but i feel bloated after today’s events. I have been forgetting to take the food supplement mom bought me. I think i’m getting fat again, been eating too many junk food in the past week. Not to mention the sweets and soft drinks.

I would have put up pictures of the fun event, but unfortunately, my camera died and i need to recharge its batteries before i can transfer the pictures to my PC.

Where can you find the best fat burners? Personally, i do not know. But i was told that you can find out in fatburner.net and compare it with other products. Check it out, there’s no harm in finding out for yourself.

King of Pop Michael Jackson passed away Thursday afternoon (June 25, U.S. time), at the UCLA Medical Center. According to local news, it was first reported in TMZ, Which is now bombarded with news about other celebrities who are sad and mourning because of this. Jackson was said to have had a full cardiac arrest, paramedics tried to resuscitate him via CPR but he was already gone.

Michael Jackson was supposed to have his final concert in Europe scheduled this July. It has also been reported that tickets were sold out. Now that there’s no Michael to perform, will they reimburse the fans’ money? I would like to know.

I listened to some of MJ’s songs growing up. First thing that came to mind was “Black or White” and “Will You Be There”¹, which are both in the album Dangerous, released in 1991. My mom bought me the HIStory: Past, Present and Future album, released in 1995, the first disc consists of compilations of his previous singles while the second contained new songs such as Scream, They Don’t Care About Us, and one of my other favorite, You Are Not Alone.

The King of Pop will surely be missed by his millions of fans. When i was young, i would listen to these two songs over and over until i memorized them word per word. I would even watch out for the video in MTV or Channel V and i would copy what Michael was doing. I shall reminisce the good ‘ol 90’s by watching the following videos.

when all you find is junk

A couple of months back, i decided to clean the cabinet where all my computer stuff are, CDs, diskettes, cables, printing paper, etc. I placed them on the table, then had mom’s stuff take their place in the cabinet. I told myself that i would sort them out, keep the ones that can still be used, and throw the junk away. But i was not able to get back at them until last week. I found old CDs¹, empty CD cases, diskettes i used in high school, and mom’s music CDs². It’s moments like these that i miss the times when we had audio racks that showcased our music CDs. Now most of the CDs are out of their cases and are in CD bags. We also had records that were stored in a box that was rarely opened ever since our record player broke.
