It was 1992 when Todd McFarlane and newly-formed Image Comics released their most popular and successful comic book: Spawn into the world and never looked back! McFarlane Toy is commemorating this milestone with a Spawn: 20th Anniversary resin statue, offered exclusively through the McFarlane Toys online store. Preordering begins at Noon (Eastern Standard Time) onSaturday, Feb. 11.

The statue, each signed be Spawn Creator Todd McFarlane, is based on classic artwork from Spawn comic issue #1. This statue is limited to 600 Statues and each is individually numbered (1-600).

As an added bonus, every statue also includes a FREE Lithograph of the artwork the statue was based on.

This limited-edition Statue stands 13.5-inches and retails at $185 with FREE Shipping (Only available in US and Canada).

The Spawn: 20th Anniversary is planned to ship July 2012. Customers will not be charged until the order is shipped.

PASSION PEOPLE! finally i'v completed AX-00. Not a single sticker is used only painted using airbrush and hand. Really loving it and the tone of the color are just amazing. Here is my latest project that i'v been working on for this pass week. Its about 90% done and only left with the shoulder armor, hands and top coat it with TAMIYA clear. It's been exciting and a wonderful experience since i'v used pre-shading technique.

Max Technique (shading technique)

Hai guys, here are some pictorial on how to do shading on your plastic model kit using the 'Max Technique', popularised in Gunpla (Gundam Plastic Model) by a modeler Max Wartanabe bukan "Wakanabe" LoL. But this technique is been used amongts the aircraft modelers for quite some time already.

First attempt post-shading

Today i'v tried some new technique with my TAMIYA BASIC AIRBRUSH that is applying post-shading. What is post shading you may ask. From my understanding it is applying shades after you applied the base color on your kit so it would look much more attractive and realistic. For me just color on plastic does not suit me well if there's no shading. From shading you can make weathering effect more real. That's just my point of a model kit builder supposed to do ;P

I applied base color TAMIYA light grey and post-shade it with TAMIYA smoke (mix it 70% TAMIYA lacquer thinner)

Apply the shades repeatedly if its uneven but DO NOT over do it since its post shading once you made a mistake you cant undone it, so be patient and wait and and hour or so until the paint cures. The result is quite satisfying for a first attempt..hehe...next will be pre-shading so until next time, PASSION!

Things you can do with leftover runners.

Here is a good project if your into plastic model kits. I bet many of you out there have plenty of leftover runners laying around the room. Instead of using it for modeling tool or throw it away, why not build something out of it like the picture above. Really interesting what you can do with a whole lot of runners and a touch of imagination! ^_^ PASSION!

Here is my previous order purchased online by Ms. Muzzy for my birthday present ~ aww...so sweet ~. The order consist of 8 boxes, all products are manufactured/released by BANDAI. Theres is one special model kit also and its limited since you can only attain it if you purchase an LBX PSP Game where inside is the model kit of AX-00 *the 1st LBX given to Ban from his father*.

Finally my own masterpiece completed. It's been painted, polished and all decals are mark in its right place. This is a very challenging model kit to start with but i just the details on it. The more you put your effort into it the better or even greater the result.

See the panel lines details and decals are just amazing don't you think

The stripes and the "Skull" is fully painted/airbrush, not using the decals provided since i'v torn some of it and it forced me to make adjustment to it.

I've used lacquer type spray paint to paint its gun.

Hand painted the plate on top of the head.

Building a model takes time and patients. If you really have passion for it then its definitely would be easy for you too.I highly recommend this model kit (HASEGAWA VF-1A) for those who just starting into model building. Hope you guys enjoyed it. PASSION people!

This is another model kit that will be in my hunting list. I'm going to really enjoy building this once i have it in hand. Omnimon is one of my favorite in the Anime series, Digimon and it is also an awesome character since its the combination of the two of my most favorite character (War Greymon and Metal Garurumon).

This is the basic modeling tool kit that i'v purchase recently online: one (1) set basis tool set (plastic clipper, tweezers, file, screw driver & a cutter), panel lining marker (i prefer the Copic modeler pen, the tip is much finer than the Gundam panel lining pen), few varieties of Gundam color markers eraser, cutting mat, cement/glue, masking tape*, thinner*, spray paint*. I still yet to get my own airbrush set.

* used when using spray paint.

New Anime Series, Ao No Exorcist

Blue Exorcist a.k.a Ao No Exorcist based on a manga written and illustrated by Kazue Kato. From my understanding this a story about a boy with out him knowing he is the son of Satan given birth by a human woman. At the age of 15 his demonic powers that was sealed inside a demon-slaying blade called Kurikara was released when his foster father (a priest) who died in front of his eyes trying to protect him from being taken by his real father, Satan. It is still an on going series, so for all you anime fans out there this is a must watch series.

Hello everyone and good weekend. On today's post its regarding the parcel i've received from Hong Kong. I didn't expect to receive it until the early month of July. This particular figure i will keep in its box until i've got my own glass display case *a huge one*. The details are amazing, two-thumbs up for Banpresto. There's also a special white colored version that they produce also that can be won through raffle campaign *already due on December 2010 to January 2011*. Manufactured by Banpresto. This figure is about 8 inch tall. Originally released on December 2010 and was re-released on January 2011. From the information i gather Banpresto has forbidden to sell this figure in the internet site and should be an exclusive item for its game centers only.
