The Cheeseboard is one reason I love living in Berkeley and especially in the "gourmet ghetto." What makes the Cheeseboard so special? In the first place it's a co-op, owned by the workers....in other words, communist! Yes, Lenin lives in Berkeley! Secondly, they have live music by amazingly good muscians, mostly blues and rock but I've heard reggae and salsa there as well.
