Our beliefs and attitudes can influence cancer outcomes if we believe it is to be so. My mother had thyroid cancer for 14 years and she outlived the other patients because of her strong will-power and motivation to live. I remembered the story about two patients whose diagnostic results were mistakenly switched by technicians and they were given conflicting prognosis for their illness. What happened was, the cancer patient who was told that the mass found in her chest was benign survived but the other patient who was told she had cancer but didn’t, died after a year.

It has also puzzled doctors for a long time, why do they often see two similar patients with the same degree of disease and receiving the same treatment, but experienced totally different outcomes? One will die within a short time while the other will live for years or decades. Remember what the saying goes, ‘be careful what you wish for, you might just get it?’ Well, this is true because you may have noticed that when we wish for something more often than not, it will manifest in our reality. Now, manifestation is based upon vibrational match meaning you don’t always need money for what you want because the object of your desire will manifest in different ways.

I always wanted to drive my own car, however, I don’t have the amount of money required to buy it, but it never stopped me from visualizing and affirming to myself that I’m going to have it. And guess what, it came back to me because I send out a correct vibration to the universe. How did I get the car I want? My fiancé bought it for me. And because my vibration is stronger and clearer it manifested in my reality 4 months earlier than I expected.

Things manifest whether we want it or not this is because the universe responds to our emotions and it doesn’t care whether they are wanted or unwanted. This is the reason why it is important to have the correct mindset by filling our conscious and subconscious mind of all the positive thoughts so that when we are clear of our intentions and we visualize and affirm it to ourselves over and over again, it will manifest into our reality.

I will give you an example of a common manifestation. I used to work in a 2am – 11am shift in a call center environment 60km away from home. I like the job, I needed it, and I was actually happy for the first 3 months but when the work schedule changed it affected me badly not because it’s too hard to keep the job but because my energy takes the better of me that I had to leave in the end. I used to be afraid of speaking in front of so many people especially during on-the-job training and workshop mainly because I’m afraid of being criticized. I don’t tell people that I’m a freelance writer because I don’t want them to expect so much from me and I was afraid that if I say anything out of context, I will not be able to edit it and it will be taken against me. By being enthusiastic about waking up in the morning and smiling to my neighbors, I am not only inspiring them but they smile back and it made their day brighter. I also believe that without enthusiasm, I will fall short of manifesting my desires into my reality because the universe responds to emotions and enthusiasm is an outward emotion that comes from the heart.

There are many kinds of enthusiasm, and they are as many as the kinds of people so the kind of enthusiasm you have will fit your personality and this is important because it reflects your confidence, your ability to cope, and your greatest source of productivity, power, and success. When I used to work as a customer service representative in one of the top financial institutions, part of my job description was offering enhancement services through up-selling credit card protection. If you watched the movie “The Secret” it teaches that for visualization to work successfully you should be able to know the art of putting yourself in the situation both physically and mentally that it seems you are actually there.

I made the power of visualization as my 9th secret code because it is one of the most important tools in manifesting my desires since this will attract similar vibrations and since I have consistently used it, it manifest into a series of circumstances, people, events, an inspired action that lead me to actually be in the situation I was visualizing. Many people don’t believe this to be true not only because there is no scientific basis but because they need to take the action needed in order to allow them to have the experience. I don’t need to convince you how true it is but any logical person will believe me that if they constantly focus on a particular goal or situation, it will result to something positive.

I was particularly amazed at one of the most incredible medical discoveries I was watching yesterday but what amazed me most is the experience of a pregnant patient who uses the power of visualization to heal herself and her baby. Let’s call her Stephanie, not her real name, of course. When Stephanie was around 20 weeks pregnant with her baby she went to see the doctor to have ameosynthesis test to check the fetus for genetic abnormalities. This test involves inserting a needle into a fluid filled sac that surrounds the fetus. Normally, the hole in the membrane heals quickly but not in Stephanie’s case. After the ultrasound was made they found out that the fluid in the sac that surrounds that baby during pregnancy leaked out and without it the baby’s lungs would never develop. I fancy nice organizers and notebooks and I always get the not so expensive ones to write my collection of possible topics for my writings. Before I met my fiancé almost 10 years after my late husband passed away, I wrote in a diary all the qualities I want in my partner including the most outrageous ones. There is no hard and fast rule as to the time it will take for abundance to manifest into your life because this depends on your alignment with the universe and the Law of Attraction.

It took my car 2 months to manifest since I started visualizing it in my mind but you think I was disappointed. I was ecstatic because it was 4 months earlier than expected. I just provided the desire, the thought, and the feelings then released it to the universe and it lead me to opportunities and circumstances so that I can manifest my desire into my reality. I guess the reason for super charging the manifestation of my car was because I believed that I already have it. Can you imagine me buying accessories for the car two weeks before I had it? My daughter thought it outrageous at that time but it worked. I now know what the Law of Attraction meant when it say that 'if you get yourself onto the universal frequency of what you want, then what you want will appear.'

The Law of Attraction states that 'size is nothing to the universe' therefore there is no request too large for it to be manifested into our life. Manifesting wealth depends on your ability to visualize and believe that you can achieve it. The only reason why many people fall short of their desires to manifest their dreams into their reality is their concept that some of their request maybe too big. But the Law of Attraction states that if you provide the feeling of having it now it will respond whatever it is.

What Happens If the Mindset is Wrong

The Law of Attraction teaches us that 'like attracts like' so if we have really optimistic friends then we must be attracting them into our reality, and it should work because the Law of Attraction does not discriminate but rewards you by manifesting into your reality the thought frequency that you release to the universe.

But what happens if your mindset is wrong? How can you teach a depressed person to use the Law of Attraction when they are depressed? Well, one thing is certain, if you are depressed and you dwell on negative thoughts you will create a negative life and will attract more of it and running away from what's causing your depression won't do any good. Blaming yourself, the universe or even God for your problems will not solve anything because you are not pushing these thoughts away; you are attracting it to your reality.

It is possible though to change your inner dialogue with all the positive conversations and positive thoughts by changing the subject like distracting yourself from the negative thoughts. Go for a walk or head for the gym to relieve you from the stress that's causing the depression. Exercise is not only good for your health; it also changes your emotional perspective because it releases endorphins, a natural hormone that floods the body with the feel good energy. The law of attraction is responding to the vibration you are sending to the universe regardless of whether it is wanted or unwanted. I grew up with the notion that a woman will marry the same man in her life. That sort of scared me when my husband passed away in 1993 not because he's not the man I thought I married but because there are certain aspect of marriage I want changed. It took me almost 10 years to get into a serious relationship and it happened because I know how to apply the Secret and attracted me to the man I have always wanted.

I guess the reason why women are attracted to the same type of man is because of their tendency to hold onto the emotional baggage that they carry from relationships to relationships. The Law of Attraction is a technique to help people manifest their dreams and it doesn't matter whether we believe it to be a science or not is of little consequence because it's positively an excellent practice to build positive attitude and habits and applies some very basic common sense.

It sounds simple to always think good thoughts but it can be very challenging because it means you have to consistently stay positive but if you habituated into focusing your thoughts only to the things you want, then getting your dreams is to be expected. I always start my day feeling good about myself and I expect good things to happen and today was just another day except that I forgot to close the door behind me when I left to do some shopping and I only knew about it 3 hours after I left when a friend called me. Since I was 45 minutes drive away from home I was a little affected but then I thought that I would never allow myself to feel stressed or angry about having to rush home because I don't want to attract negative impulses. The slow driver in front of me didn't even change my mood and before I knew it, I was already home. Luckily, I locked my driveway gate and it was alright after all.

During the most difficult times of my life, my mother always told me to count my blessings instead of whining about it and I’m grateful that I listened to her because it changed my perspective. When I learned about the secrets of the Law of Attraction, I realized that what my mother taught me was about being grateful but the good thing about it now is that when I become grateful for the things even if it’s not there, I attract more of it into my reality.

I made the power of gratitude as my eighth secret code because I believe it to be true that good things come to us when we have the mental attitude of gratitude because this brings us in alignment with what the universe wants for us which is a matter of crucial importance. Now that I am aware how my vibration attracts what I deserve I always focus on the things that will make me feel good and being grateful is at the top of my list.

When I started creating my reality using the Law of Attraction I found it necessary to create a gratitude journal. I love nice diaries and notebooks so I bought one and wrote everything that I am thankful for and guess what, it started manifesting in my reality and I was amazed at how my life has changed. It didn’t happen overnight though but manifestations happen every day and it doesn’t seem to stop when I have habituated to being grateful even for the air I breathe and the warm sun or the cold rain.

Each night before I go to bed, I write down at least 10 things that I can be grateful about that day and it tremendously helped me to survive during difficult times. I learned that by focusing on the abundance rather than on the lack, I will be designing my future and have a sense of fulfillment when my dreams are transformed into reality. And every day when I wake up, I always give thanks to the things that I will receive that day and miracles happen to my wonder and amazement.

Vibration is an aura we feel towards other people we also call it vibes. And by the Law of Attraction you get what you vibrate, or you attract people or situation into your life in that if your mindset is negative then you will attract more negative impulses in your life that’s why it is important to create a positive mindset so that you will attract positive vibrations.

The power of vibration is my seventh secret code because now that I knew how a positive mindset works, I will be able to send a good vibration to the universe so that it will respond to me by giving me the people and circumstance to sustain that feeling. The Law of Attraction is all about mindset, and I made this my sixth secret code in supercharging manifestations in my reality because a successful mindset knows no failure and in accepting the Law of Attraction as the focus of my direction I needed to harness my mindset to provide inner strength and ability to beat the odds. But I should also allow my mindset to make my own mistakes so that I can learn from them without letting them become barriers to my success because linking my mindset to the Law of Attraction principles will move me closer to achieving our desires.

The Law of Attraction teaches us to believe and it will manifest but our ability to manifest our desires is determined in our mindset and self belief. However, once we have learned to reshape our subconscious and fill it with thoughts that are in alignment with what we want, it will tremendously help in developing our mindset and self-confidence and we will not allow ourselves to be entangled in the problems that may become obstacles.

It is our mindset that is usually limiting our progress because our thought patterns are restrictive that’s why we have to take control because the bounty of the Law of Attraction will only enter into our life if we can project ourselves with confidence and assurance of our capabilities to manifest what we desire. We should be able to link our mindset with strength and conviction that by using the principles of the Law of Attraction we will be able to reap our rewards by manifesting our dreams into our reality because this is what we deserve.
