Same blog time….Same blog channel…

The 'mytwodworld' thing is a bit too cryptic.

Hopefully it's not too much of a speed bump.www.scottfiander.blogspot.com

Happy New Year!

Now I'm going to go make pancakes!

If Ducks Could Talk...

2011-12-29T20:38:00.000-05:00

I don't see many ducks walking down our street

but I'm sure this guy had his reasons.

In Training...

2011-12-28T19:41:00.002-05:00

Actually, I really have started to get back into a 'normal' routine that

involves less eating and more physical activities. My knees hurt too much

when my weight gets up there. A good message from my body.

The Family Dinner….

Note to self….

Do not book annual check up two days after the annual Christmas dinner...

Spirit in a Candy Cane

2011-12-23T06:37:00.006-05:00

I read a couple of Penny's blog's and was inspired.

I put together a couple of illustrations and she posted them
on her blog this morning!

This one was from yesterday's post True Meaning of Christmas: Candy

Merry Christmas!

Whisky Tango Foxtrot...
Where's the snow?

2011-12-13T15:31:00.000-05:00

We do not have any snow on the ground yet, but I am optimistic.

This is a shot I took just after Christmas last year.... .

I don't mind the snow and the cold…I just hate being cold.

I'm one of those people who bundle up like crazy and

waddle around the driveway with a shovel. I use the snowblower

when the snow gets stupid deep.

2011-12-11T10:10:00.002-05:00

My brother-in-law, a true Habs fan, is feeling well enough to be asking for a television in his room.

We are all relieved. He is on the mend!

A Visual Book Review

2011-12-09T15:49:00.003-05:00

Just finished reading "The Sisters Brothers"

by Patrick deWitt. An excellent western

following Eli and Charlie Sisters, a couple of hired guns.

Snow Tires

2011-12-05T17:57:00.000-05:00

The traction is incredible. This is our third winter driving with them.

I can see why the province of Quebec has made it illegal to drive without 'em in the winter.

It isn't happening at Costco.

2011-12-04T13:54:00.002-05:00

It was really crowded at Costco Sunday morning.

I'm thinking they're going to need even bigger shopping carts for the customers.

2011-12-02T06:26:00.002-05:00

About 3 weeks ago my Mom asked me if I had replaced the washer hose going into the back of my washer in the past 5 years. Our washer is only 3 years old so I wasn't too concerned about it. It had been 15 years on the old machine without incident. Apparently you are supposed to change them every 3 - 5 years. Coincidently my good friend Chris recently told me his washer hose burst, filling his laundry room in his basement with water. The carpets sealed both the door and the drain spout on the floor. When he opened the laundry room door he got soaked. The water was spraying onto his fuse box.

I added the electrical sparks for dramatical tension. His fuse box has a really good seal on it.

I added the fish for fun.

Giraffe at 3 o'clock!!

Matthew's girlfriend's car died in the Market late last night.

The car was very dead and the kid walking by was quite drunk.

Note to the blogger noob...

2011-11-23T09:26:00.003-05:00

It took me 4 days to realize Penny had me listed in her blog roll.

I confessed to being quite new at this whole blogging thing and she commented

that she was the opposite of a blogger noob. I had to put this caricature together.

Penny posted it on her site.

Addy at the Spa

2011-11-16T14:07:00.001-05:00

My brother's Border Collie Addy really enjoyed staying at his place last week.

She had to share her spa experience with her bud Elmo.

2011-11-01T16:15:00.001-04:00

I did a sketch of Kathy and her sister Wendy.

I sketched one face, copied it, and added the hair.

They really do look alike.
