STEPS TO CREATE / GENERATE

USING MS-EXCEL:

1 .Before creating attendance sheet , first learn this term D11 OR E12 what are they what they indicate before going further .

D11 here means that we have written may in a cell which is in the D column and at the 11 number from top cell. so the position of text "may" is D11 here. .
You will see these names like D11 , g12 etc in the formulas.

In any formula if you want to write a position of any cell, just click on that cell .

2. Second learn how to create drop down list in excel:

HOW TO CREATE DROP DOWN LIST IN EXCEL

Now you are ready to learn how to create automatic attendance sheet in ms excel Now we are going to learn step by step how to create an automatic attendance sheet in Microsoft excel.

STEP :1 First open the Microsoft excel in your PC or laptop. Take two sheets, sheet 1 and sheet 2. In the sheet 1 write attendance sheet for month in the cell as shown in below figure.

STEP :2 Now go to sheet -2 , write there JAN in any cell , then drag that cell up to DEC .After completing this list from Jan to Dec, go back to sheet 1.

STEP :3 Now in the sheet 1 select that cell where you want to create drop down list of the month , after that click on data at top bar , then click on data validation option under this data option.Look at the image below :

STEP :4 Now in allow drop down box , select option "list".

STEP :5 After selecting list option , Put your cursor in source text box , then go to sheet 2 then select the cells range from Jan to Dec and then click ok.

STEP:7 Now in sheet 1 create first date and last date column as shown in the image below , and let me select month "may " from drop down list of month, you can select any month i am taking the example with "may" month. The blank cell corresponding to first and last date here we will add formulas.

STEP:8 Write the formula corresponding to first date cell.

=datevalue("1"& Position of may cell) , then press enter. You will get 1-05-20 as the first date.

You can change the format of date by right click---then click on format cell --then choose date Here in this image shown below D11 is the position of the cell where we have written"may".

STEP:9 Now write formula in the last date cell.

=EOMONTH(click on position of first date that we have just created , 0). press enter , now you will get 31-05-20 written there in last date .

Here in the image below H11 , in the formula is the position of the first date cell where 1-05-20 is written .

STEP:10 Now create name column , date and days rows , as shown in the image below ,for getting your first date there just write formula

=then click on 01-05-20 written corresponding to the first date .

You will get this view now

STEP:11 Now for getting second date of may write formula over there :

=if(position of 1-05-20<position of 31-05-20 , position of 1-05-20 + 1, "").

After writing formula press enter then you will get 2-05-20 written over there,Now drag this date , until the date of end date of month.

In the image below in formula : H11 is the position of 1-05-20 here

M11 is the position of 31-05-20

" " indicate otherwise null value

STEP 12: Now we will write formula in the day row , such that it will automatically gives us the day that was on ,that corresponding date. now this formula will write the day automatically that was on 01-05-20.

=Text(position of the cell corresponding to which you want the day ,"DDD")

In the picture below F16 is position of date 01-05-20.

STEP:13 Now drag the this cell , to get all the days corresponding to each date , have a look in this picture below.

STEP:14 Now we will check if we change the month from may to June , then also we are getting correct days corresponding to every date or not .

Now select month June , then see the date and days have changed according to month June, here it is showing on 1 June --- Monday, and it is right on 1-June-20 it was Monday.

STEP:15 Now i want to highlight all Sunday with red color, like the way if i will change month in every month Sunday should be highlighted.

Now select the cell under the Sunday .
Now go to home, select conditional formatting.
Then click on the option -- use a formula to determine which cell to format .
Now write formula in the edit rule Text box : =OR(click on sun ='sun').
Now click on format---fill ---select color---click ok.

In the figure H$15 is position of Sun here.

STEP:16 Now sun will be highlighted ,now just click on format then select the rows and column that you want to format , now all the Sundays will be highlighted like this.

STEP:17 Now we will do formatting of text i want if i write P here represent present in the cell then it should be automatically turns green, if i write A (absent) in any cell then it should automatically fill with red color .

For this go to home ----click on conditional formatting -----click on highlight cell rule -----click on text that contain.

Now pop up will appear here write P in the text box and select color from drop down option .

Now again repeat same process now write A in text box and select the color .

STEP:18 Now you will get the sheet like this as shown below.

Now your attendance sheet is ready.

You can also add some more feature in it, like you can add one column of that will give you the count of number of days any person was absent just by writing formula of =count , in that cell .

Employee of the organisation can do some more text like paid leave , causal leave and can do formatting like we have done of P and A . Then he can also add some extra column which will give the count of its causal leave or paid leave of each month automatically .You can modify it as your requirements , it is just a one sample of how automatic attendance sheet can be created.

Here this attendance sheet is having some extra column SL, CL, and sum. sum column will give the sum of both sick leave (SL) and causal leave (CL). column SL will contain count of all sl leave and Cl column will contain count of all cl leave.This has been done by using count and sum formula in excel.

Whenever i will write p in any cell it will be automatically highlighted with green and whenever i will write sl or cl it will be highlighted with yellow .

Then finally Sl column will give us the number of sick leave of may month.Cl column will give us the number of causal leave OF may month. sum column will give the sum of both sl and cl leave .

Go to insert and click on add shape

2. Draw a rounded rectangle as shown in below picture.

9 Now go to reflection section then set:-

Transparency = 35%

Size = 66 , Distance = 4 point

10 Now go to insert and click on add shape ,take oval shape and draw two circles inside one other and fill the color (white,orange as shown) choose any color and place it over the rectangular rod.

Now again go to insert click on add shape choose a line draw a line connecting rod with the ball.

11 You can now add a text box. Go to insert then click on the text box, and add a text box on the circle and write anything, let's write the text "hello".

Sometimes in our life, one point comes when we start feeling that all our courage , spirit have been broken down and everything is lost , and any motivation or any words of other people do not work at that time. At that time you keep on thinking that in achieving my goal i have given my 100 percent I have put all my efforts but the results was opposite of what i thought .All my hard work , efforts all went to waste. Sometimes this moment would have come into everyone's life. Its feel like everything has been lost , now nothing is left all wasted.

You don't feel like doing anything you just feel to lie down in bed . Now the Question is to lie down in bed doing nothing and keeps on thinking that all wasted , will it give you the success will it make you some steps closer to your goal.? Is it a solution to your problem ? You will get the answer No a big No. It's a situation in which you have surrendered yourself completely by keeping in your mind the thought that I can't do anything now . Just give it a thought.

This is a situation where motivation or the words of other people will not give courage to you . Now what to do in this situation.

Let's take a small example of a boy whose name is Animesh who is preparing for IIT JEE , he is giving his 100 percent and he is making all his efforts , but not got cleared in the examination. Now what he should do .

Now in this situation, think about your weaknesses , what were your weaknesses , then try to convert those weaknesses into your strength. But before doing this first ask yourself the question that if it is possible or not to convert those weaknesses into your strength, this time you have to do harder work than in the first attempt.can you do it ? If your answer is no then say no, no to yourself and end that question there otherwise you will repeat the same mistake again , Atleast do something different now otherwise you will get the same result as before . But don't lie to yourself otherwise it will be a waste of your time.Just be true to yourself. The answer is simply YES or NO.

Now if your Answer is No then give a try to something else . May be its not your cup of tea . You can relate this situation like , in our country what you see do you see all people of India are engineer only, or doctors only . or dancer ,or singer only .Just look at your surroundings not all are painter not all are engineers only. some are engineers some are doctors some are painter etc. Take an example of Sachin Tendulkar a great cricketer everyone knows him. If he had insisted on becoming a doctor or an engineer Did our country get such a good cricketer.?

Now if your answer is YES that i can convert my weaknesses into my strength ,then convert them into your strength, to give it a second attempt. In your previous attempt also you have done a lot of hard work and made all efforts at that time you were sure that you will achieve it but unable to achieve it. It means if we were sure, but couldn't get it , it means we have surely made some mistakes. some reason may be given more time to whats up, Facebook, netflix etc .Now write down your mistakes also . and try to rectify them.

See now the scenario is different ,previously, we were thinking about our failure , that it should not have happened . Now I can not do anything and everything is finished.But now we are approaching toward a solution approach , here we are asking ourselves reason why it did not happen , now what i can do to achieve it , Now start motivating yourself , motivating yourself is a very powerful tool.Try to think what you can achieve .Just keep on saying to yourself I can do this I can achieve it.

But.......hold on ........But before setting any goal , or choosing your goal ,going toward any goal just give it a thought what do you want ? what is your interest? what can you achieve? Don't run toward packages example, if you will prepare for this exam ,then you will get the 8 lakh package and most of the people are going to this field so I should also go toward it. Don't be package oriented follow your own dream, passion ,interest. My be you don't deserve this 8 lakh package.........you deserve 80 lakh package..it can also be true. Do you know your actual capability? no you don't know them.

Today we all are money oriented only, we forgot where is our real happiness . your real happiness is not in your money only. you all have heard telling people that if I dance for one hour in the morning , then it gives to me the strength to do my work for the whole day. or if I play football for one hour in morning I got freshen up for my whole day... so this 1 hour is giving us strength to the rest 23 hour of the day .. so the quality of time matters .If you are doing your work daily 8 - 9 hour does this quantity of time matters or the quality of time matters . If that one hour work is equal to that 23 remaining hour work....so quality of time matters.

Mostly we don't choose the goal that we really want to do what is our passion what we enjoy what we like, what is our interest we never give it a thought .The moment you will start thinking about mastery that thing , mastery your passion your interest . when you will say I want to become expert in this .Then you will start knowing your capabilities. This will give you real energy the energy you were getting in that 1 hour of the morning .So select your goal with an aim of mastery in it , not with money oriented approach.. I want to master this.

See, the thing is that cracking or not cracking in the exam is not in our hands , but doing mastery in that field is in our hands.....like to want to master in the power point, I want to master in the quantum physics.

Let's take one example : when you go to any shop to buy something, then you ask for the price, now tell me is that price is in your hand _ no_that price is not in your hand whatever price the shopkeeper will tell you, you have to pay for it.

The price will be in your hand when you will become master of it when you will be the owner of the shop. Think about it?

Whatever is your interest , whatever is your passion ,make a goal of mastery in it .I want to be the best in this ....as i can....but not in comparison to others . whether it is relates to your profession or not.

I have to become the best version of myself. This will give you the real happiness. . Nobody can stop you now . Then you will be the master of your life.

DELETING THE SLIDE:

click on the particular slide you want to delete , then press delete key on the keyboard.

Who is making the presentation is as important as knowing who is the target audience. so you should have clearly understanding of the target audience to whom you are going to present it.

Why this presentation is important ,asking this question to yourself give you the strength to communicate to the audience more effectively.

WHERE:

Presentation design is affected by venue at which the presentation is going to take place is it a large auditorium or small office. ,

WHEN:

Knowing when the presentation is to be given effects how it is received.

NUMBER OF SLIDE:

Prepare with less number of slides, keep the number of slides minimum.
More the number of slides more complex it will look and it will not attract the attention of participants.

SIMPLE LANGUAGE:

The language used should be simple and understood by all.
Avoid using jargon and slang language.
The only single topic should explain in a slide.
Do not overlap sub topics in the same slide.

READABLE FONT:

Nobody likes to put strain on their eyes while going through the content of the presentation.
Font and size should be readable even from the end of the room without any strain on the eyes.
You can use bold and italics for highlighting text.

AVOID USING UPPERCASE IN ALL

When you write all the text in ppt in upper case only it looks like shouting over the head.
When all text is in upper case it makes difficult for the readers to read it.

TEMPLATE USE:

Template use in the ppt is important.
Always use templates matching the need of the topics.

USE IMAGES:

Images speaks louder than the word.
Use images for explaining some complex topics.
You can also use flow charts to make your design more powerful and easy to look and to simplify the content.

BACKGROUND:

Avoid using dark color text with dark background color and light color text on light color background.
Background color should be simple and should complement the color of text.

Shame excite a blush when the color of the skin allow it to be visible, and especially how low down the body does the blush extend.

when the person is indignant , he frown , hold his body and head erect , square his shoulders and clench. his fists.

When a person is deeply thinking on any subject . or trying to understand any puzzle, then he frowns or wrinkle the skin beneath the lower eyelids.
