We hope you had a great Ramadhan 2011. Ramadhan Kareem!

Over the past 6 years MyAdhan has been providing SMS services for prayer times all over the world. We’ve delivered hundreds of thousands of messages to Muslims in over 60+ countries.

Over the next few months these services are unfortunately going to cease (end of September 2011) to be in operation as we move to produce our mobile applications on the iOS and Android platform. We did plan to launch our new applications this year but due to delays we are having to push this forward to 2012.

We’ll keep you posted on our progress on this blog.

MyAdhan.com is old enough to have seen Apple and Google launch amazing mobile platforms and we’ve been wondering if our future development is likely to move to being 100% app rather than SMS. Loads to think about

Way back in 2005 MyAdhan.com relaunched it’s services for the UK. That was 5 years ago! Most companies of like us never survive that long and this is a quick note to say thank you for supporting us and Ramadhan Kareem for 2010. We enabled worldwide FREE services last Ramadhan (2009) and by Alllah’s will we’ve been going from strength to strength. We’ve had 4 new countries added to our list of people who used our services. Vatican City is interesting??? We plan to provide a local number for the US given the amount of people using the service from the US using the UK number. More to follow on this soon.
